Cities: Skylines but my city has constant disasters

hey there friends how's it going my name is kevin and today we're playing cities skylines we're going to create a fantastic city which is just plagued with bad luck perfect 90 degree road perfect 90 go with wind power i think that's a safe bet it's nice and uh noisy for behind these houses unpopular mayor achievement unlocked i just started you're the one moving to a town with no power or water barrel on the top it looked like a revolver or a flare gun or something like that all right just build a landfill to start off spill it right in the middle of these houses i know i have like vast land and industrial area but i wanted by the houses wow they must be pissed i wouldn't blame them if they actually had a gun out and yet more people keep moving here it's a strange one imagine them moving in like i hear they got a fancy new landfill it's state of the art uh everyone's moving out but why just pull those their old houses act like they were never here oh they can also carry sewage okay just dump that right into the water the water pump always needs a drain pipe to handle the sewage oh i can't afford that i'm losing money quite fast can i take out a loan give me that loan yeah there think i have the money can i take out a loan i'm good for it i swear uh 60 grand yeah i can do that i don't know how to fix this look just build around it we'll build another bridge right next to it imagine they see you taking out a loan for 60 grand and you immediately just build a round and build new bridges i spent half the loan on building new bridges instead of repairing the old ones i'm not even rescuing the people who are bloody stuck out there so far things are looking pretty good can i build like a canal to get the water out of here look at that okay might need to be a bit deeper there we go flow out perfect oh it's flowing in also though this might not get much water out oh no it's working perfectly i'm a good mayor deep down oh flood wall i'll protect the canal from flooding there we go now instead of the water coming up here and flooding in there it'll just go around to this industrial section i can build a bouncy castle pack yeah sure build it here next to the water the flood zone experts predict an earthquake could hit the area soon you know i'm tending to believe the experts they seem to be right most of the time also i think my canal backfired i think it's bringing in more water than it's sliding out on the bright side it might put out this fire hey who has that dog there's a pet band in effect you see if we had pets they're good at detecting these sort of things oh and there go my bridges i still got this one that's why don't panic i built it further away no more dog poop maybe i should just leave the sides of town separate maybe they were destined to be separate but look at that flood wall doing its job it's making sure it's evenly divided come on reach the fire i'll try and canal the water over to you i mean i know what you're saying just build a fire station and they'll probably put it out but i want nature to try okay everyone's all about organic and natural remedies now and i think a canal a man-made canal is a better way to fix this oh my god wait what was that i was a little jet probably flying over laughing at us i feel like fectopia might be fact on the bright side the ground is probably pretty fertile ah now look at that beautiful fertile land ignore the fires wait i can probably get a good angle on this somehow yeah that looks great a lovely bustling town forest fire is raging in the area well it was good while it lasted three houses immediately if you're in a tree house and they're trying to hold out more power to you you got more courage and stupidity than i could ever have i think i might need another loan guys i still haven't paid off the first one can we just tax people yeah tax them high now that's what i call money earning 200 whatever day at 500 a day 900 a day this is perfect everything is perfect about this situation if you look at it this way like if you're at this side of the river you're probably like oh they have it worse but if you're at this side of the river you could probably say the same thing or is it kind of uh the grass is always greener on the other side thing would you think ah i wish we had a flood to put out our fire and then they're like oh i wish we had some heat we're freezing from this flood all right go on i can't bear to have them separated let's build another bridge just go out that way and across fire is raging in the area again oh no it's just burning down i think it's spread to the buildings i think that's her school well whatever it was it's not that anymore a sinkhole has occurred all right we'll build around it there we go nice curvy bridge around it now it looks like a feature they're all complaining about taxes that's what they're worrying about right now you think they wouldn't have any money to be taxed but there you go they're holding out on me i've set the intensity from 5.5 to 10 and i just want to kind of clear this area out a bit with some meteors and maybe sinkhole this area for some character collapse this area and add a tsunami for good measure maybe one more meat here like here because these need to be demolished anyway and demolishing costs money meteors are free maybe a forest fire would start at the dead wood here too i don't know i'm just brainstorming oh no a crime devastating meteor will strike the city in the near future ah it doesn't look that bad maybe with two though or three i can't remember how much i called in geologists predicted well it was at least four any minute five it might cause an area to flood the water seems afraid of it it's like moses maybe this is how moses did it oh yeah that was to demolish the buildings that makes sense oh and there's the sinkhole that's not a big deal we can just build over it again that's a feature right there oh god maybe it's a pond we'll see yeah that meteor really [ __ ] up the water quick well it's gone build a road across i can take another loan great okay now i can build a road across this city was built on risks the first being building on that indian burial site and by god we're not gonna change our ways now god that is a big meteor i like where the pilot lived though we really went all out with that foundation shame we didn't do anything for the rest of the city oh we got some water going on here you know that's a good place to pump our sewage if we need to oh wait i can just pump it on land too i didn't know that i like the idea of a pit of [ __ ] anyway that sounds horrible it needs to be powered so we'll spend some of our money we'll put the windmill in the pit it's like oh thank god the mayor got a loan to help us out wait wha what is he doing she's here in the distance i'm building a [ __ ] pit it's like should we hold elections or no it's too [ __ ] late just leave him do what he's doing it's not even flowing maybe demolish these let them rebuild i don't have money to build a normal road i want to build this pit it's really important to me but i don't think there's any civilians left to fill it maybe i should start a new city not so murderous but maybe a bit more cruel like make it a drawn out suffering kind of city i like the sound of that yeah let me know if you want to see more and we might try
