Chris D'Elia Goes Sneaker Shopping With Complex

[Music] what everybody its Joe from complex were in Los Angeles at flight club with comedian Chris D'Elia my whole goal is to dress like I'm on a team but the only player on the team gonna do some sneaker shopping tonight gonna see what he's feeling what he's not and then hopefully is gonna buy some sneakers yeah let's do it Joe let's go Chris 2015 you solicit Twitter and you say send me cool shoes specifically airmax in Jordans I'm not that into everything else but now you've come a long way since then did I say it on the Twitter yes Wow why you guys did your research yeah yeah it's nice to bring up an old tweet and not be able to end my career with although we'll see what happens but yeah when I got into shoes and I think I just noticed this my dad would wear these every day for years that's Lady US Air Max 180s and what but this color everything yeah and when they got dirty he'd just get the same one okay and then just wear them and I thought why would you get the same shoe well he said because I like it and I was like that's so simple and I guess it makes sense I was like you know six or whatever and I was like oh yeah okay a lot of sneaker heads do I know so this was the first shoe that I saw and thought oh that's cool this is the first shoe I saw and thought it was cool so it's in your DNA yeah daliyah t and yo yeah my dad by the way he's 70 okay so and I'm 38 and so if he sees me wearing shoes especially if they're red my dad loves red shoes he's like a hooker it's very odd that he goes for the red shoes like I had any enemies with the red block yeah can you get those for me and I said yeah and then of course now he wears them and I have to know I have to be like alright now I got to step up the game I can't wear those anymore about my dad you tour all the time I saw you were in Philly we shoot at lap stone and how well you work well we should I get there I think you got the tie-dye oh yeah I got the tie-dye thing which is Broncos well exactly so no that's our well you knew it before LeBron yeah I did have before LeBron by the way I see that [ __ ] all the time I got the [ __ ] tie-dyed pants and the tie-dyed shirt yeah and LeBron then LeBron gets inside that pants nobody thinks Oh LeBron got that second everybody thinks oh [ __ ] D'Elia is copying LeBron cuz why the [ __ ] wouldn't it wouldn't be the other way right right which I'm not saying it was it wasn't like this guy's like watching my Instagram think LeBron looks at my hair but I don't think so yes so now I look like the [ __ ] [ __ ] and I can wear my tie-dyed [ __ ] but I still do because I have the whole thing he had just the pants and that's how step in it I don't do that you go fine I'll do that [ __ ] no my whole goal is to dress like I'm on a team but the only favorite thing about this [ __ ] shop here hey how much of these $600 to $1,300 and then it's like okay well what size and they're like oh yeah obviously 13 and they're like oh yeah though that's the 13 grand one and that's the $1,300 one as you say oh [ __ ] is it too bad you're not 12 and a half because that's that's those are 250 and you're like oh [ __ ] can i maybe i should bind my [ __ ] feet yeah this is that's so annoying how that happens my buddy is a waitress a little person he gets kids shoes like 6y that's amazing yeah I mean it you know sucks he's not tall but it's also he's gotta have the [ __ ] get the shoes for a cheap price and also these are always between these two the last mountain in these because these don't they like they rip off I bite away of 7,000 times it's there's still one you've got a school and my buddies like it you gotta skate yeah imagine me skate but no but my buddy's like nah they chip away I'm like alright when [Music] Chris you're on hot ones Easy's came up and you said you know you liked them but you would never spend $1,000 and you didn't have a pair of them now and guess what I have all we see you now is in my nose and I know what's wish then when did it switch I saw I saw it like seven or eight times and I was like I got to have it but I got the and by the way when I originally got the the waverunners yes they were like when they first came out and they were way too expensive like I gotta get him soon as I go to the next day they read R opt them and I was like I hate when that happens I mean just whatever and then and then I got another pair though I was like at least I'm I get it at the right price don't we see you now even in a couple days oh yeah 350 so you just like them I do yeah they're cool and they're comfortable and they go my legs are skinny so they go like with skinny like these are like they're good for my skinny legs but then I also I do love these though am I an [ __ ] sure the audience is split on it some people love him some people hate them these yes yeah this [ __ ] first of all the colors are cool but if you wear them you obviously don't give a [ __ ] about what other people are saying about you but without it being too much you know what I mean right it's a lot but it's not like at least to me if somebody were to walk in with this I'm gonna be like I would be like wow yeah you know by the way on hot ones I was like send me free Yeezys nobody sent me free thousand so my next question you said you have friends celebrity friends and get free sneakers my buddy has like a podcast and he's like dude I got free Yeezys I'm like you got a [ __ ] podcast had that work I'm on [ __ ] NBC I don't get [ __ ] have you got free sneaker yeah have I gotten some free sneakers but not it's always like the okay thanks dude I mean it's not like fire although one time I had a show in Toronto and this Nike rep came by and gave me a pair of those what are those see-through one's called react yeah that was your [ __ ] awesome I was like oh [ __ ] I was like that's a that's a really good suit though I'm famous that's a really good shoe at 97 but yeah all my friends are all they're like oh yeah they give them to you I'm like who and I'm like can finish in you [ __ ] listen I always say humbly I hope after you do this show the boxes are gonna come in all right I'm ready size 13 man 13 straight to camera 13 although with Easy's if you never [ __ ] know that's so annoying by the way figure this [ __ ] out Kanye figured I felt first of all I figure out way more than just issues but also figure out the [ __ ] shoes man omi size 14 well bro that's [ __ ] two sizes different twelve thirteen fourteen I'm all-in Easy's my feet are the same all the time I'm 38 they're not growing they're not shrinking or growing so figure it the [ __ ] out between the 357 hundreds and and with the numbers - it's annoying you have one two three four five go through 350 700 284 forty I don't give a [ __ ] one two three four five that's it valid points it's alright I need to make [ __ ] shoes do it it's three three foot it's true well we talked about everything now it's the easy part get the browser she'll see what you're gonna take home yeah man I'm ready yeah I like these I'll take I'll take these you go 13 all right cool get those sesame 350 system yeah and then I like
