This video showed me that Taekwondo is really susceptible to being thrown on the floor, technically the guy could have ended the fight when he had the Taekwondo guy on the floor. But overall the Taekwondo guy did well tbh those kicks were cool.

fight commentary breakdowns here i'm here with john evans who is professional bjj commentator and so john i'm going to explain to you what's going on here this guy is a student of a tai chi slash xinyi kung fu frog so the the guy his he his master got knocked out this year but this happened in 2018 this happened two years ago okay so so he he and a taekwondo black belt that we will see got into a big argument and the taekwondo black belt in him agreed to two matches one was stand up and one with jiu jitsu so this is the jiu jitsu match so he's using a ball analogy and saying that traditional kung fu is better i don't get his ball analogy so i'm not going to even attempt to translate it but the point is the traditional kung fu is a better ball than the brazilian jiu-jitsu he's been very poetic that's really abstract talk about training now wow so he actually seems to be training with some kind of ball so this is moving beyond the the figurative that's going a little um he's talking about training with the ball for his joints and stuff like this okay yeah has a lot to do with fighting yeah yeah certain styles of kung fu mainly tai chi and shiny and i believe a little bit of wing chun tai chi like like yeah the park thing so his his master claim a lot of people tai chi people in china a lot's probably not the right word there's a group of tai chi people who claim it's the best for self defense and fighting i've heard that before yeah it seems super bizarre to me the one um non-chinese person who also claims that is jake mace if you're familiar on youtube so we might have to watch jake mace videos in the future been sparring all these mma gyms all these jiu-jitsu james he thinks his kung fu is better from his past experiences sparring mmhms yeah yeah okay so again um we've seen this in past videos we've looked at but a lot of times what happens is when you go to the gym they're very nice to you yeah and that gives some of these guys who've never really fought this kind of this sense of like they think they're good it's not because they're being nice to me it's because i'm actually skilled oh so i think that's what happens sure so when you let the white belt work and then they think they're school in the black this interview was saying i hope today you can you can show what traditional chinese yeah and he says he's not afraid he he he doesn't lose easily he has heart that's what he's saying right the danger of heart if you're not skilled heart's just going to give you brain damage yes it's true i mean one way to judge right now i look at his neck i don't see his neck any kind of muscle at all so i'm gonna just say you don't have much padding there to absorb hits so i'm not confident in his heart right now if he doesn't have the muscles to absorb a lot of hits but it's a jutsu match right so it shouldn't this part of it you know he might accidentally eat a palm or something but that's it okay so this is our our black belt in taekwondo that's also i don't want to say he's a black belt in jiu jitsu but i think he is but i can't confirm that but at least he trains yeah he's changed for years yes trained for years okay so right there that [ __ ] you should be the clear favorite yes as with mixed uh mixed technique tournaments yes like adcc where you don't have to be a black belt or any certain rank in any type of discipline yeah um anyone can enter yeah like you don't you generally see a lot of the jiu jitsu guys every once in a while you see wrestlers or [ __ ] is potentially you know what you don't see you don't see tai chi you know they're not really the the uh creme de la creme of grappling yeah and if you look over there the kung fu mash is wearing a superman shirt instead of a rash guard so i guess it shows he if he doesn't have a rash guard he's probably never rolled with a no gee guy which this looks like this is a nogi tournament it looks like it's a rash guard it's a superman he's a superman rancher maybe but it's a short sleeve brasher maybe you're right it's a short sleeve rash guard so nogi rules of course so i think you know heel hooks like locks et cetera no strikes though which i don't know if this tai chi guy understands so yeah he might think it's right but i assume if he's going to enter this someone's explained the rules to him although i've got to say like doing grappling nogi grappling with heel hooks available like i would not want to be in the keypad yeah not at all uh it is really hard to extract your leg from leg entanglements when someone is attacking a heel hook if you have key pads yeah makes sense so john when you roll with people like let's say you go into a tournament you roll with a high level person do you attack your legs immediately or do you kind of like feel it out um it depends on what i'm going for if like i personally do a lot of leg locks and if i'm focused on that if that's my a game because i usually have a a game game plan going into a tournament so if that's my a game then yeah i don't i don't care what they're gonna do i i don't feel anything out i just you just go you have to get right to your game super important you don't want to give anyone a chance to get on their offense because you might be you know only a a blue belt at defending what their uh master black belt of uh attacking mm-hmm so uh definitely don't want to give anyone the uh the option to start first makes sense makes sense and it looks like there's a little buffering problem because again we're watching this from america this is chinese servers maybe they've caught on that we're analyzing this so they're throttling this but guys it happens uh maybe i'll just skip forward a little maybe it's the tai chi uh it guys ah exactly the tai chi guys they produce the best it guys exactly so hopefully what we can do is we can skip forward to the competition um there it is okay so here they go shaking hands with the with the referee our jiu jitsu guy and kind of a like a little wristling stance right yeah yeah yeah a little bit bent over yeah it's good so well then both are yeah okay hand fighting look it gets a collar tie and already like the tai chi guy does not it didn't look like he handled that very well i got his posture broken pretty good and he's backing he was backing up oh he is still backing up now he's kind of getting scared he's like i don't know what i'm doing now yeah when he's hand fighting too he's really extending his arms using way too much force um which is also opening up the avenue of attack if if the taekwondo slash jiu jitsu practitioner wants to change levels and shoot a double uh that should allow him a clear path to do so i see typically in your wrestler sense you want to have your lead arm that protect your lead leg oh interesting down i see so um it said that the the the kung fu guy just i poked the jiu jitsu guy that's why they stopped it with a warning and he's like he's like oh i'm sorry i'm sorry yeah it didn't seem uh too sad about it yeah not at all this might be one of those things where when the going gets rough he just starts yeah swinging yeah yeah what yeah i think this guy is completely delusional yeah he doesn't know what he's doing not at all and the taekwondo guy thinks getting more confident i saw him i saw him like have a smile oh pulling guard that was surprising was that jumping into guard or pulling guard and forearm in the neck yeah right he just like formed over the deck and then laughing wow dude he just formed him in the neck he's like i'm sorry i forgot this is uh grappling only oh man if you're the other that that's what it's uh that's when your cue is to just mess this guy up like you don't this guy's not there to play fair you can't go light on the sky yeah he'll hurt you if you oh it's treasure he's got some upper body control this is not terrible not terrible at all he's not doing any kind of leg work though and gets put back into the clothes garden so it's not fantastic for him do you think the taekwondo guy what's what's what happened there all right what this guy's crazy he's crazy what what i think he doesn't want to be in guard or something i think that's what's going on preaching the choir yeah shouldn't jacquez's name i think so back in guard so you want to go to half guard potentially well i mean at least he's trained a little bit he knows it looks like it he knows that he's at a disadvantage in guard yeah in full garden oh i think i think what he wants to do is he's like i don't wanna i don't wanna just like try to break your guard i want you to try to grapple me i think that's what's going on huh interesting oh and armbar tips part time oh and this thing is extended yep oh they got it oh they got it and this guy he's still trying to fight oh this guy oh my god where did they find this guy i mean you know he's the student of a famous tai chi of fraud oh he's still fighting i think so yeah he got up and now he's pissed yeah look at that foreigner in china it's like oh you i'm gonna i'm gonna fight for my chinese brothers oh my god dude he's showing the camera the the forum to the neck that guy's crazy so the the kung fu guys he's like oh no no i i didn't lose he's like screw you guys he's like no i won he's like i went wow that's like a whole other level of delusion that's crazy and you know what the kung fu guy would say the comfy guy's like well you know if i struck him he would have lost so this shows that kung fu superior of course that's what he was saying but what i would say is if the taekwondo guy struck you back you'd lose so let's see what they say what's your thoughts he's too weak did he show off his tai chi not at all that's a pretty good mark for your wrapping turtle he thinks he did okay he used to talk about himself now so he thinks um compared to regular jiu jitsu regular jiu jitsu when he rolls it's very tiring but this guy it wasn't didn't even work a sweat so it looks like the the kung fu guy in the background is still trying to argue with the organizers you see see that the police are over there trying to make sure nothing happens like no brawl now they're going to interview him again oh this is going to be good [Music] [Music] they just said it was it was sparring that's what he claims [Music] he thinks it was cool you think it was cool he said he didn't he didn't know who the who his opponent is even though they were they've been arguing back well he knew he knew that they were gonna grapple because they've been arguing back and forth yeah totally wow that guy jesus yeah wow so there we go man wow i wonder if there was like a follow-up with what what became of that guy because that's uh yeah man like how do people even operate like that yeah yeah in life so um i don't know what happened to this guy in current 2020 yeah but i will show you what happened to them because they had another match this time mma rules yeah wow so i'll show you what happens um so this this time um the two of them get into an mma match so is it mma like they can take it to the ground and i believe so wow so taekwondo versus wing chun tai chi shinny whatever whatever this guy i mean he said he did wing chun but if he's mabo who a student he should be doing tai chi so it claims they're the same they're the same um their reach and their um heights the same it doesn't say they're weight class but yeah he's an itf black belt uh he's 36 and you know in this one he claims he's 47 even though in the in the grappling tournament he claims he's 50 but sometimes they round yeah yeah so here they go it's in kind of an octagon type of ring look at that really cool chinese ring light kick another light kick immediately he's pissed me one two and just the yeah with the straights and the hooks oh it looked like for a second our tai chi wing chun guy tried to go for maybe a single leg we'll have to rewash that yeah oh it looks like he's stopping it he claims that his legs too hurt i mean that was some punishment i was not expecting that out of the taekwondo i thought we were going to see some kicks yeah that was just straight up bombs out of his bombs he had a good one two and then just started throwing uh straights yeah straights right down the pike i guess i i guess he doesn't want to fight anymore wing chun guy he's limping now see he's like i'm sorry guys he he hurt my thigh yeah i mean it's a it's a fight yeah it's a fight so here's a yeah he just went in just punched punch punch i didn't see those uppercuts on the left yeah oh some of those are pretty good so that's so that wasn't a single leg attempt i i was wrong it was just he was just clinging on for yeah the guy bent over and was had his arm up to try to defend himself yeah he got whipped down to the mat yeah so that's the conclusion to the saga of these two guys getting into it that went about as expected yeah that was so i mean you know the wing chun guy in the grappling tournament said it's because i wasn't allowed to strike so now you allow it to strike yeah you lost even worse yeah it was really bad so um i will show john more of this taekwondo guy this taekwondo guy had a pretty big claim to fame in 2019 but he disappeared i don't know if he got disappeared because he spoke too candidly but oh yeah so he looked pretty good i mean he's being on a 50 year old tai chi practitioner but it didn't look so bad in this one yeah didn't look so bad so that was the saga man that's what happens when a student of mapo go who apparently does wing chun guy in a grappling and then in an mma tournament this is kenya he's a kung fu fraud um that's a great it's a great great title title and here's why he's a kung fu fried he fought the chinese mma master xiaodong he claimed someone paid him 30 million um this was early 2000 30 million u.s um i believe i'm chinese r b okay so i don't destroy them in like two seconds but he decided i'm not giving up on like trying to get students he called out taekwondo in china he said taekwondo is completely impractical taekwondo sucks so wait this isn't the guy that does the touchless uh no he's not the touchless guy he um he calls himself inside creston kick so apparently his kicks are good but he's never thrown any kind of decent kick in anything that i've seen so um this is him entering so okay oh we will we will introduce this so if you recognize this guy john it's the same taekwondo that we just analyzed who you know fought the wing chun tai chi master in a grappling and a kickboxing mma match yeah so what happened was zhang long's name answered our taekwondo guy's call he said oh so you say taekwondo is not practical huh well i will show you so that's how this fight started and i will show you by punching the face exactly but yeah he throws some good punches though so this is the fight it took place that same night that xiao dong fought that fake wing chun master so it's like a double feature of like fighting fakes yeah so this are these things promoted uh to the local area as like uh yeah because i would if i were there i'd be front row so we will watch this hilarious hilarious match zhang long the taekwondo itf black belt on the left this kung fu self-proclaimed master on the right named tenya so here they go again jungling's answering kenya's call oh man nice roundhouse there tina's covering up he's learned that look at the the guard of the taekwondo it's very uh very low and he does not seem to care about punches coming over the top yeah tanya looks tired already yeah yeah he's uh he had to throw a couple punches there so yeah sidekick i thought maybe we're going to see a bat kid i thought so too he's kind of laughing i saw a jungle laughing whoa that's not a bad uh a couple of roundhouses to the bottom tayden has no response to it yeah right straight and left afterwards he uh he kenya telegraphs his hits very very much yeah and he looks like he's trying to dirty box too he's holding the head and then uh oh looks like john was doing it back to him for a second i don't think he's punching with it though i think he's using it as like a collar tie makes sense makes sense and ducking under that haymaker yeah um two-ish credit and i think in general itf people probably punch better than wtf taekwondo people from my understanding i would think so i mean taekwondo is about 70 kids yeah especially the olympic kind yeah when i was doing taekwondo it was i mean i don't think we threw punches other than for katas or warm-ups yeah oh and it looks a little wobbled yeah yeah and john yeah like you said john lung's guard is so low yeah and when he sees the punch coming he'll bring up the his left lead mm-hmm to block and then he usually retaliates with the right yeah oh he caught the kick and throws him down i think is it over are we going the mma rules here but i think jungle would be prepared since we know he's jiu-jitsu trained yeah and look the ref has to get in there stop it yeah yeah the kung fu guy i think that he realized this is my chance i gotta see if i can cheap shot this guy and put him out yeah otherwise i'm toast oh and tell you through overhand right it uh it looked like it landed it landed with no effect yeah no effect yeah he threw it after the belt was that what it was that's why the tagline guy was laughing he's like wow yeah yeah i mean when you are severely outmatched you gotta make sure you get the uh get in a haymaker when the ref isn't looking yeah you attack when you're not supposed to yeah it's the only way you have a chance of winning so we're seeing a theme here because the the wing chun tai chi guy also you know kept attacking the jiu jitsu guy when he wasn't supposed to throw strikes so it looks like our tiny guy maybe learned from that a little bit learn to cheat yeah it's uh it's interesting though i mean the the kung fu practitioner made it out of the first round yeah yeah and some people in the comments were saying maybe the taekwondo guy is just going easy yeah he was going yeah for sure he was going easy and maybe the the event oh back kick but he i think he slipped taekwondo slipped is that what happened it was zoomed out so yeah nice knee to the body though yeah another another one yep and switching it one left one on the right yep oh good right hands the event organizers might have told the taekwondo guy just wait till the third round or something oh maybe or maybe they said just wait after the first round and then you commanded yeah lifting that leg high but i mean against the taekwondo guy they're gonna have good balance and good flexibility so you didn't put them on the ground and looks like the kung fu master is uh just trying to throw these big heavy right hands that are just very telegraphed very wound up and don't seem to have a lot of uh power on it there's kind of more arm punches yeah he's really his footwork to um to transfer the the energy that's not very good yeah and he is sucking winds too man those are some deep breaths yup oh and look at that the bright straight yep taekwondo guy has been connected the whole fight with those repeatedly and those ones look like they had a little bit of pepper on them too so maybe not going as light anymore yeah it definitely looks like like you said john he's going a little bit harder this round the taekwondo guy like oh man he punched so hard he slipped and that that's the danger right there when you slip and you have your back turned and you're supposed to be able to just get up safely that's when you got to watch watch out for those sucker punches yep these stepping knees is kind of nice his guard is still so low the taekwondo guy he just doesn't care yeah when he gets in super close and he sees that punch coming he just brings that left hand up to his temple and blocks easily blocks yeah that looping haymaker yeah makes that's getting thrown there was a right straight again mm-hmm look at that tina's like tired or maybe a little dazed too probably both yeah and plus just getting oh like that big roundhouse to the face yeah oh immediately drops them yeah oh they're giving them a standing count look at that they're not calling it they're like you know you guys paid yeah exactly let's have this keep going it's chinese to live foreign uh very low at the moment said he does not want to be in this ring he will probably do whatever he can think of to get out of this yeah look at that his hands are down he doesn't know where he is he is oh oh now attack with no guy is going to give him some punishment oh it's the end of the second round see made it last third okay get him recover oh look at him slumped down in the corner immediately yeah that's uh that kick to the face is not fun not fun at all man it tap the jaw exactly at the spot that puts you to sleep yeah and he immediately dropped his knees too that was that was not a playing around kick man this is in the area unfortunately where they're kind of detaining the muslims so yeah it's one of those new cities they're trying to build called caramay so you know i guess the name of the city yeah the city so i think maybe these events are actually trying to attract more investment and more tourism and more residents there like non-muslim residents there not none weaker i should say oh that was wow another one oh and just left and right roundhouses with the the kicks dude right roundhouse with follow-up punches left right i think you're checking to give me a standing yeah that's good but he was still throwing punches though yeah oh my goodness look at that crane camera that's so interesting yeah those are expensive oh this big they claim he's okay i love it i love it look at that tien is not even throwing points as well dude he's in kick range too what does he do it he's dates that's what yeah and he also probably doesn't even know yeah but he's should not be in those ranges yeah like that exactly it's spinning back kick he's given time he's giving type of no guy the exact range to come in yeah yep that is um our taekwondo itf black belt making itf taekwondo look okay you know yeah for sure i mean looked like a world champ there against this guy yeah nice stuff yeah so yeah that is um another freak show mash that we featured back in 2019 but you know we didn't know that this is the same guy that did the two other matches against the other kung fu guy so yeah it's it's quite it's quite crazy that this guy he had his claim to film the taekwondo guy and then he just kind of disappeared off the map in 2020 and i don't know why i don't know why maybe he just got busy maybe the you know the current unfortunate lockdown situation just had him you know he had other priorities but yeah it's it's just he kind of like he didn't go the shoe shadow around he didn't like i haven't seen him in the news at all i haven't seen any matches whether against taekwondo people in the maple or against frauds so i don't know what happened to him did he ever fight actual mma like professional mma or amateur even i do not think so because if you if you search up his name it's hard right his name is very generic it literally jung is the most popular last name in this world because of the number of people in china and taiwan and you know malaysia and stuff that have the name and then long just means dragon a lot of people in china have the name dragon so it's like you search them it's hard to find and maybe what i need to search is like taekwondo john long but i feel like i've searched it before and i have never found anything um recent so i don't know i don't know what happened to him it'd be interesting to see it doesn't seem like he's in bad shape and he knows striking and he knows the ground game he's a jujitsu guy so even if he doesn't know wrestling at least he should have an answer for wherever he goes yeah yeah and i think i think um he would be like i would love to see him even in some of the chinese mma promotions or something i was trying to there it is for some reason it did the square roots yeah i'd just be curious to see how he did in an actual competitive environment because it didn't look so didn't look too bad yeah oh my goodness this can't be a two he got challenged by another kung fu guy this might be the same guy oh my god don't tell me this no this is not john it's a different guy oh i was like it can't be the same guy because it says it's a taekwondo guy too but no it's not um yeah it's not it's not the same guy oh my goodness i thought we found more information yeah this is not the same guy oh i'm a little disappointed promoters specialize in that seeking this out trying to freak show fights because i'm sure that's going to bring people in yeah scotty yeah i don't think um i don't is this stolen let's the problem is when you search long it'll give you like random people in china with with like the name dragon so yeah i don't think this is it either looks like they're making kids cry to make them able to make them able to kick high yes huh funny when i was in taekwondo my uh instructor the first day i was there i couldn't i was not that flexible like i could not do the splits or come anywhere near it my first taekwondo lesson he was uh he was a really strict uh competitor from korea and within the first class that i took he had me sit against the wall and he kept nudging my feet outwards on the splits direction until my ankles could touch the wall in one night and there was a ripping sound happening in my crotch and uh it hurt really bad and ever since then i've been able to do the splits i still have not lost that ability from a teenager i think it was lucky that one i did not recommend doing that by the way that's uh if i if i was inflexible to that degree and somebody pushed my feet against the wall in one sitting like at my age probably some damage done there's probably damage at the time but i was so young that i didn't know you recovered really quickly exactly yeah but like i had no idea that that could actually happen and stay with you so long that's amazing that's so interesting wow yeah if you if you look on chinese social media everything is just about that fight that um that ridiculous fight we just saw so yeah i don't yeah i would think that that would be kind of a big event honestly yeah just because how often do you get to see something like that yeah so yeah unfortunately it looks like there's there's nothing recent and maybe what i need to do is i need to look at the so maybe like within a month if we have anything uh this might be it i hope i don't get um a virus now this you never know with chinese search engines really yeah or the government uh put some spyware on yeah exactly so it looks like he trains with alliance jiu jitsu in um oh really i think that's the one tournament i saw an alliance shirt okay so that could be who he trains with it's alliance um i don't know why this is oh there it is oh okay so now we know all right let me show you guys real quickly um our guy here he's he's the youth oh no no sorry sorry instructor he is not the usual he's had 15 years of teaching experience so these are the these are the three coaches at this alliance location in um china so there's massio he looks like the westerner um that was maybe the westerner that we saw in the church who wanted to fight the guy for you know trying to hurt his coach and then this is another he's actually the head coach interesting so they got their token form person and then they got their head coach i wonder what his uh lineage is like where did he get his black belt from yeah let's let's look some more they even have their we could call them we can call them well it might be on um chinese it might be on bjj heroes too oh yeah my friend andre runs that that's right what's a great website let's look at them i'm not sure how up to date it is on the local china mm-hmm um but he's pretty good about covering a lot of the lineage so i'm easily the best website for it nice it looks like they have um very good reviews this jiu-jitsu squad has very good reviews i mean it's all it's alliance affiliate which is cabrini's alliance and that's where i was training so um they're one of the biggest teams in the world and they you typically don't find an alliance that is not uh that is kind of like a mcdojo right like you pretty much don't walk into a lion's gym that's ever like that uh-huh there's gonna be some at least decently good jiu-jitsu ah makes sense so uh yeah let me let me search someone i'm trying to figure out which city they're in but it doesn't say um what's his name um that's what that's what i was trying to click on but it wasn't getting me anywhere i said clicked on my shield what's his name oh um no the martial maybe martial maybe hey that sounds about it mark what does it say a last name it does not marcia oh well i can't look up marcia that'll pull up yeah everybody yeah yeah um let's see how do we um what is this oh this is about the fight that we just watched um maybe if we look up alliance china or something like that yes alliance jiu jitsu china let's see what locations they have in china this i think this is it because um this building that they're teaching is in shenyang also professor marcio henrique is it maybe that's it marcio henrique maybe is he teaching at a line should you sue china um yeah i think so we found him that looks like it oh this is their official site alliance bjj china and what city are they uh shenyang um s-s-h-e-n-y-a-n-g and it's in liaoning province oh my goodness we have to um we have to contact them oh i'm gonna i'm gonna send them an email right now oh my goodness this is so cool we're getting in contact with the line jiu jitsu china hey this is jerry from fight commentary breakdowns i would love to find out more about you guys because through my digging on social media i discovered that the coach that took on all those chinese martial arts frauds jungle teaches at your location um my buddy john evans um was wondering um what the lineage of your coaches were i would love to feature you guys in a video on fight commentary breakdowns let's see what we get from these guys yeah cool um so i will put this link guys for anyone that's curious i'm glad they have a facebook page i mean it makes sense if you're a jiu-jitsu and you're an alliance affiliate potentially you're going to have way more westerners training that's our guy that's professor marcio yeah it's the same dude yeah i've got the you got the facebook yeah that's what i'm looking at right now too nice cool and then the internet's amazing the internet's awesome they have marcos sue silva also there oh sian so mark marco sullivan is in the sean alliance location so i guess that so john was asking me about kind of the who are the black belts there so i guess now we know so uh swell silva is a black belt and then this martial enrique enrique is also a black belt and then we also have fight commentary viewer jerry from chengdu who's a black belt and then we have any pie who's a bike belt um and then look there's a carlos vieira um who's the alliance used to china how many alliance gyms are there in china yeah i didn't i didn't know there was at least three wow i wonder how many black belts are in china yeah i'm really curious too it's just a such a big area and i've just um i don't know i've never explored the it's it seems like it's kind of a little bit out of the public eye yeah as far as i mean even living in japan i kind of have a decent grasp of who the black belts are in korea and japan but didn't really hear a ton about china it's kind of its own separate thing it's definitely a desert like uh jose carlos vieira is also um almost like a black belt i think okay so yeah there's there's a big opportunity in china is that a black boat that's really worn i don't know i don't know it's a purple or or maybe a brown i don't know but it's cool guys we will we will show you guys all of this but so now we know jungle our um jiu jitsu trained also taekwondo black belt apparently um teaches some something related to this ah cobrinia seminar oh no way cobrinia was there 2018 oh not that long ago maybe i'll i'll hit up cabrinha and see what's that's crazy see uh cabrino was there i mean yeah he's gonna be the popular seminar guy for a lot of alliance gyms right just because he's one of the best alliance guys out there so wow i didn't know that i was i wasn't oh that's probably yeah because in 2018 he also did a seminar in in tokyo at carpe diem too so he probably made the rounds uh went to asia i see yeah yeah that makes sense that's really cool yeah and everyone's a great seminar too so oh i bet oh oh yeah that's funny i'll have to ask him yeah i don't see zhang long the the taekwondo guy in any of these pictures though i don't know why so i don't know what belgian long is in is is but um i mean from that rolling he's definitely at least a blue belt right maybe a purple belt that's what it looked like yeah i would think yeah like i don't think that's jung either so i don't know oh there he is battle he's a white belt really wow oh this was 2017 though so when the when that tournament happened in mid 2018 i assume he would have been blue by then probably wow okay so we know that i mean if you think about it though we didn't really see a ton of his ground game yeah sure even when it went to the ground his opponent was striking repeatedly and then he just as soon as he had an opening he got on the back and choked the guy so you didn't really see a lot of it so he might be still low level yeah as a grappler yeah which is interesting because he destroyed the other guy and grappling um so that really speaks to how bad the other guy was yeah exactly yeah i i thought john lone was a very high belt but yeah it looks like now that we know that he was a white belt in 2017 and this match happened yeah it was a blue belt very likely wow wow shows shows yeah just a little bit of training goes a long way huh it really does really does man wow oh there it is there it is some i think that's john long right there yeah he's got a blue belt he's got a blue belt okay so this was 2019 so 2019 he's got a blue belt this is probably so he's he's a blue belt during the tournament most likely wow detective work man jerry and john evans wow in real time yes wow and yo cobrina if you ever see this love to have you on this channel no he's just down down the road he's an awesome guy yeah cool so guys um this was five commentary breakdowns maybe going on fight commentary bj we don't know but um we have the videos now yeah that's awesome
