Celebrity Solstice Cruise Ship Full Tour & Review 2024 (Top Cruise Tips & Best Spots Revealed!)

hey everyone what is up this is Jordan with JJ Cruz today we are taking an in-depth look of the Celebrity Solstice we've got a full ship tour for you today so thank you so much for watching if you are new here please hit the Subscribe button and don't forget to hit the thumbs up now let's go check out the Celebrity Solstice [Music] we are starting our tour up here on Deck 15 outside of the lawn Club we're gonna get outside but as we do I do just want to show that in the elevator Lobby you of course do have a ping pong table and there are two ways to get out to the long Club at the door that is directly in front of me and then there's one right across the hall we're gonna take this hallway because as we are walking to the other elevator Bank on my left you are going to notice that there is the studio the studio is of course the photography studio that you can come and get professional pictures taken while you are here on your vacation now we are here in beautiful Skagway Alaska today so you're going to notice some incredible views as we are walking around the ship got some incredible weather here in Alaska for this seven night Alaska cruise as we step outside to my left you are going to notice a living lawn this is the solstice and this is the OG of the solstice class which all of the solstice class for Celebrity Cruises do have live grass which is very unique for a cruise ship we're currently walking past what they call the alcoves the alcoves are little areas that you can rent out they're private spaces that when you rent them out you get a bottle of wine as well as some food that comes with that we are going to just step into the lawn really quick so there's a couple of key things that you need to see the first being of course the screen in front of me on the screen they will show things like movies on the lawn sporting events you can come out here and lay on the lawn and check those out and then there also is the hot glass blowing class this is a very unique activity for a cruise ship it is an activity for a charge but you can come here and blow hot glass make decorative items things like bowls you'll definitely want to check that out on your cruise because you can't do that on too many ships outside of Celebrity Cruises as we continue to walk the lawn section in front of me is going to be your smoking area so for those that are smokers you can come up here and have a cigarette or of course a cigar they sell both cigarettes and cigars at the bar back here at the back of the ship and on the smoking side there is a men's bathroom directly across on the other side there is a women's bathroom as we walk back here there is a lot of seating great places to take in views especially during Sail Away and then as we wrap around you will see the Sunset bar so this is a staple on Celebrity Cruises every single ship does have a Sunset bar but it's a great place to just grab a drink grab a seat and take in some awesome views now this other side doesn't mirror the side that we just came from so there will be a women's bathroom over here of course another portion of lawn and then those alcoves and the hot blowing class we are going to go ahead and actually take a step downstairs to deck 14 because you do have easy access right here now deck 15 does kind of Break um we go down to duck 14 and then the other side does have a deck 15. on Deck 15 you are going to find the teen club club X as well as the basketball Sports Court so that will be on the other side of deck 15. but we are coming down here on to the very aft section of the buffet so this is going to be the back section of Ocean View cafe you do have absolutely great views of the very back of the ship another great place to come and sit have some food or just take in some views you've got of course a bar here so the Ocean View Bar will be at the back of the ship and we're gonna step back inside now the Ocean View cafe is the standard Buffet found on all celebrity cruise ships you are going to have breakfast lunch and dinner served in here and they offer quite a variety of different types of foods something that celebrity has started doing now in 2023 is featuring a country every single night um so I walked in here earlier and it does look like tonight they are featuring Mexico the food and Ocean View cafe is always very good and like I said it's a great place to come and essentially get breakfast before those excursions but you can see in the middle here you're going to have all these different little sections you've got of course a salad bar cold cut and Deli bar pizza is in here pasta is in here and the pizza pasta and salad do stay open late so those will be open till 1am we're walking past another bar here on my left so that will be another area that you can go and grab a beverage after grabbing your food and then we're walking back out here into the bank of elevators so you do have those glass elevators that we did start the tour with we're gonna keep walking outside to take in some more stunning views as we walk outside you are going to immediately see another set of stairs in front of me that will take you down to the pool deck which is deck 12. and then there are plenty of loungers up here this is also where the um jogging and walking Track is you'll see that directly in front of me the strip of red it does go around deck 14 so it's a great place to come up and get some steps in on a cruise if you're someone that likes to do that and as we continue walking on Deck 14 you will notice another little Eatery in front of me that is an included eatery that is the Mast Grill so they'll serve things like hamburgers hot dogs french fries I tend to enjoy the turkey burger there and then you're going to see this glass structure here on my right that is going to be the solarium so we'll get down there in a little bit that will of course be the indoor pool directly in front of you you will see those steps to get up to deck number 15 where I shared the sports court and then kids clubs are we are going to walk directly into these glass doors so there's a couple more very important things to see here on Deck 14. now as you walk into deck 14 you will have the Sky Conference Center this is of course going to be a meeting place if you are here for business so if you've got a group on board or you're a part of a business function while at Sea typically those meetings will happen in there those conference rooms can be rented out for a charge and directly opposite of the conference rooms you will of course have the Sky Lounge this is a great place to come and be especially when you're on itineraries like Alaska because you will have just floor to ceiling glass but it's all enclosed so you won't get the chilly cold weather when you're in colder climates but you get to take in all of the views you got the bar directly in front of me that is of course closed but this is also the nightclub so this place definitely fills up at night a lot of live music will happen up here there's of course a DJ booth and this place really turns into the more party place on the ship after 11 pm so you can see that there are a lot of seats up here plenty of places to come it's nice and quiet during the day so you can just come in here and take in the views now the rest of deck 14 on the other side does mirror everything that we just walked past with the exception of the masked bar that's directly across from the Mast Grill it's another bar that you'll find up here on Deck 14 the ship does not lack bars that is for sure and you will continue to see that as we walk the ship but we're going to go ahead and pop now down to deck number 12. we've come down one deck to deck number 12. we are more towards the forward part of the ship and we're going to walk into the fitness center and Spa area so that is right here tucked behind the deck of elevators the forward Bank of elevators as we walk down this hallway you are going to of course have your salon it's a place that you can come and get your hair done Nails there is endless treatments here at the spa you just have to come here and book your appointment for any type of service that you like they also do of course massages and many other types of services we are now walking into the fitness center of course the fitness center is going to be your gym on board there are plenty of different types of sports equipment here they do have a weightlifting Center and again incredible views so you can definitely work out with a view they do also have a small little Studio here where they will have classes and then what I love about this particular ship is that they do have a front section that you can step out and it is completely quiet out here so if you are here looking for another place to come and just take an incredible spectacular views it would be here in the front of the gym not every other cruise ship has a section like this on the ship that is just open a lot of times they'll have these little sections that might be just for spa guests but this one is open for anyone that would like to use it which is really great now the gym is open 24 hours a day so you can come and work out at any point in time you will see that they have a couple of offices there there are trainers and different Specialists that you can come on board and speak to if you do need to talk to any type of professional in the gym area you will book those appointments for the spa either on the app or here at the desk and you'll notice we are in Port today so it is quite um quiet on the ship which is nice we're now walking into the solarium the solarium is going to be the adults only section of the ship now there's two hot tubs on either side of the pool there's a hot tub right there and they do of course have a lift for those that need that I mean we see adults only the solarium is technically for those 16 and up the great thing is on these Colder Weather sailings they do have Solarium family hours right now the family hours are four to seven in here because if it's too cold to be in the other outdoor pool they do let the kids come in here for a few hours a day we're walking into the Aqua Spa Cafe this is of course another free included Eatery this is open between noon and two if you are looking for a place to come and eat very quiet in here nice and Serene and then they do have fresh juices there as well the fresh juices are not included in the classic beverage package but they are included in the premium or you can of course get those for a fee we're now walking on to the main pool deck of course this is going to be we're going to have two separate pools and four hot tubs I'm gonna step up here so you can see those what I do like about this pool deck is you not only have the pools and the hot tubs but you do have a dance floor as well so we'll walk over to the other side and see that but tucked right here behind the pools is of course going to be the pool bar so another area that you can come and get drinks they do have life vest right there for the little ones that need that and then unlike other cruise lines you can just come and take towels or they'll put towels on your seat for you there is no need to check towels in and outs with your key card which is great now you'll notice there are plenty of loungers up here on Deck 12 so if you are just looking to grab a chair there is not a lack of them between the loungers here on Deck 12 and deck 14 there are plenty you've got stairs in front of me those will take you directly up to deck 14. where the Ocean View cafe is and then right here is where you've got that stage and dance floor the light up dance floor um which is great they will do parties up here when it's warm enough of course when this ship is in the Caribbean they'll have things like white night or their full moon party and then the one area that I did want to point out directly across from here is another little section with another ping pong table so you can see that right over here and then past the ping pong table you will have of course another smoking section so there's a smoking section here on Deck 12 as well so that is deck 12. the rest of this deck is of course staterooms I did want to point out that bathrooms are on either ends of the pool so you're going to have bathrooms tucked behind the stairwells here men's on this side women's on the other and then bathrooms tucked behind the pool bar directly opposite so there's two men's and two women's restrooms up here on the pool deck we're gonna hop down a few floors and see the rest of the ship we've made it down to deck number five we're in the forward Bank of elevators now decks six through eleven are primarily State Room decks with the exception of a few places you'll find midship that includes the library the card room team Earth which houses the captain's club and concierge desks and the celebrity eye lounge or the uh computer Lounge here at the front of deck number five you are going to find the entrance to the solstice Theater now this is of course where all of your entertainment is going to be they've got shows every single night you will not want to miss the Production shows they also bring on a number of great guest entertainers as well on either side of the theater you are going to have some small areas outside now this side just gives a nice quiet place to come and just appreciate the views again views in Alaska are just incredible today the opposite deck so the one on the other side of the elevators is going to be your smoking area so that'll be another area that you can go to if you are a smoker we're gonna walk the rest of deck number five now and deck number five is going to house a number of things things like specialty restaurants and shops as we start to walk towards the back of the ship here on my left you are going to have at the start of what will be many shops Jasmine is going to be your fragrance shop so the place where you'll go and buy a lot of perfumes and colognes then of course you do have a boutique bag shop right next door that is called Moda and that will be a place where you can find a number of different types of bags your Kate Spades your Louis Vuittons and directly across from that is going to be the art gallery so if you are someone that is coming to look for art on the ship you're going to find that here on Deck number five the Park West desks will also be over there on that side of deck 5 as well you will notice that there will be a number of art pieces scattered throughout the ship the art on the ship is actually quite impressive so you'll enjoy strolling down this hallway where you can see a lot of different art you've got another door to the outside decks right there so deck five has a lot of outdoor space where you can just go and sit and relax you have the men's shop right here this is going to have some clothes of course some watches some jewelry for men and then pieces of time is going to be your watch shop on the other side of pieces from time you will have specifically Breitling watches so that does kind of take up the middle area here and then you have a very important bar that I cannot miss called the world class bar this is definitely a favorite of many if you do have the premium beverage package most of the drinks here are covered by that package and you will want to come here and do several tastings they have a number of incredible drinks highly recommend checking out above the clouds it's very smoky if you like rum you will love it we're now walking into the main area of deck number five this is of course kind of the grand for here you are going to have Cafe albaccio here Cafe abacio is a place where you can get some free snacks you can see a glass case there with a lot of different types of desserts and then this is going to be your coffee shop on board within the coffee shop you also will also have a place where you can get gelato so lots of delicious little things there for you to get you've got a great view here into the main foyer area now down there you will have a number of different musical acts throughout the week there is a dance floor down there and we'll get down there and see the rest of that as we work our way through the decks but here's one of your first specialty restaurants this is going to be sushi on five of course this is going to be your sushi restaurant this restaurant is available throughout your cruise for an additional fare so you can come here and make that reservation and then you do have the glass elevators here on my left these are the midship or more aft set of elevators directly behind the elevators you will have stairs to take you up to deck number six or down to deck number four we're going to continue walking and there will be a number of specialty restaurants towards the AFT area of the ship we are walking currently Into The Ensemble Lounge this is going to be another lounge and bar area with multiple different things off of the side now walk through a very unique hallway here celebrity is known for having these very interesting hallways as you walk their decks it's very cool that one's very dark as we walk into the Ensemble Lounge you will have a women's bathroom here on this side of the lounge the men's bathroom is directly on the other side of the bar now here you are going to have the Michael's Club the Michael's Club is of course the sweets only lounge if you are in a suite during your time on the solstice this will be a place where you can come get drinks listen to live music the staff in there are incredible right next to the microsclub you do have Murano this is another specialty restaurant this is of course your French restaurant on board this is probably the best specialty dining on the solstice so if you are coming on the solstice you can see the menu there I do recommend checking out Murano again you do purchase that for an additional fee and make a reservation because the reservations for that restaurant do book up quite quickly men's restroom is directly there on my right and you'll see another really cool art installation directly in front of me that really cool heart you have another area to get to the outer decks there on my left and then you will have three additional dining venues here at the very back of the ship the first one on my left is going to be silk Harvest but here at silk Harvest they do have the infamous Le Petit Chef so if you've been on other celebrity ships they now have this I believe experience on every single Celebrity Cruise your plates are made up of animations and the animations make your food it's a very fun experience especially if you have kids we're now walking into the Tuscan dining room this is going to be another specialty dining experience but this is going to be your Italian experience so if you are a fan of Italian food you want to come here I will say this restaurant does have some of the best views on the ship with that floor-to-ceiling glass I do love the entrance and exit into Tuscan because it does look like a giant wine barrel which is really fun the last restaurant that you will find here on Deck number five is of course going to be blue blue is the restaurant specifically for aqua class of course Aqua class is a type of stateroom that you can get that gives you access to the spa and then access for breakfast and dinner to this restaurant here the food in blue is always great it's clean eating so it's lighter fair if you are an adventurous eater it might be a place that you want to check out that's Deck number five let's hop on down to deck number four we came on down to deck number four now we are here towards those midship or more aft Bank of elevators the glass elevators here on Deck number four you are of course going to have stairs that will take you up to deck five or down to deck three but we are currently standing outside of the grand apernee dining room this is your main dining room on the Celebrity Solstice it does span two decks decks number three and decks four step inside of here really quick this is a beautiful main dining room venue they do serve at breakfast lunch and dinner here depending on the day they don't always have lunch on Port days but of course the dinner service in here is great the food is incredible and the crew are amazing you can take a look at that main dining room there with the beautiful Chandelier on top and then of course they do have a couple of options for dining in the main dining room you can have a set dining time or you can do what's called anytime dining or celebrity select where you will go between the hours of 5 30 and 9 pm we're gonna walk down deck four on this side because there's a very important venue that you must see now outside of the dining room you do have men's and women's bathroom the men's is directly in front of me the women's will be opposite on the other side we are walking into the martini bar this is one of the most popular bars found on Celebrity Cruises this is of course a bar where you can get martinis it's a little self-explanatory but it's more than just that the bartenders here are some of the best bartenders at Sea they put on shows they make the best drinks and it is an overall drink experience it's more than just a bar you have another little table back here normally that's filled with ice and you've got seating all the way around the grand foyer now as we step over to the other side this ship does have a seller Masters on board seller Masters is an older bar for Celebrity Cruises but this will be your wine bar so of course you can come in here speak to a sommelier get a great glass of wine it is another area that's nice and quiet on this ship you've got plenty of seating and then you do have some TVs where they will show sporting events here in that bar directly outside of the seller Masters is going to be the entrance for the fortunes Casino this will be your casino on the Celebrity Solstice they have a variety of different games what I do appreciate about this ship is they have a number of different old games as well as new so if you like those old classic slot machines they've got that here but then they do have some of the newer updated machines as well now found in the casino area is of course going to be the casino bar unlike other ships in this class this area is not tables it is just slot machines so there's not a ton of seating here in the casino bar but this will be open during the same hours as the casino as we walk into this hallway this is almost like a very Mall type feeling area of the ship all the glass in front of me are going to be a variety of different stores now I'll down here they will have more of their celebrity merch so if you're looking for merchandise or area specific merch so right now they have a lot of Alaska gears since we are in Alaska you'll find that here on my left on my right is going to be the photo gallery so you will see a number of different touch screens where you can see the different pictures that you were that you got taken during your cruise those are of course for a purchase they do have packages that you can buy as well and then here at the photo gallery desk they do have additional items for purchase so they've got cameras disposable cameras SD cards and then you've got GoPros there one more shop as we continue to walk through those glass doors you are going to have your liquor shop so of course if you are looking to buy duty-free liquor you would do it there and the last shop on Deck number four we are walking into the celebrity entertainment complex so this is an area where a number of different game shows activities and events will happen and directly outside of the entertainment Court you do have future cruises of course future cruises will be the area where you can come and book your next vacation don't forget if you use a TA you can still book with your ta even though you book in future cruises just give them your ta's name and information they'll be able to find them in the system and Link you together you'll still get that extra onboard credit they offer as well Kazar is another bar here and another entertainment section of the entertainment Court you've got the bar right there lots of places to sit and then of course a dance floor and a DJ booth that looks like they just landed from outer space that actually utilize this venue not every case our venue is utilized as much as we've seen this one be utilized which is which is kind of cool celebrity Central is going to be a smaller venue where they will have a number of different activities here this is also where they will show movies so when you see movies on the schedule and it's indoors typically it will be down here on Deck number four just past celebrity Central you do have the solstice theater entrance this is going to be the deck 4 entrance we saw that entrance as well on Deck five and then you will have your forward Bank of elevators here on Deck number four let's go ahead and hop on down to deck number three we are now walking into the deck 3 area now when you go down the forward Bank of elevators you are going to go into State rooms and you walk down a stateroom hallway to get to deck number three now you'll notice here in deck number three you do have a number of places to sit this is going to be the base of the entire grandfoyer so here on the Dance Floor there will often be either a DJ or live music it's a great place to come and enjoy an evening here on the Celebrity Solstice now you do have guest relations down here so that will be right there to my right of course if you have any questions concerns or issues while you are here on the solstice you can go right there right next to guest relations there is an ATM if you do need one of those as well and then directly across from guest relations will be the passport bar this will be the final bar here on the Celebrity Solstice but it's a great place to come and get a drink especially while you're sitting here listening to the live music in the grand foyer one of the desks that's very important is going to be your shore excursions desk if you are looking for more information on those land Adventures while you are on sea you will come down here to deck 3 and talk to the team here and directly in front of me you will have the entrance into luminae illuminae is going to be the All Suites restaurant they have a number of different delicious foods here this is open for breakfast lunch and dinner if you are looking for a great place to eat and you are in a suite that is the sweets only restaurant you have the women's restroom right outside of luminae the men's restroom directly in front of me and this is of course the deck 3 entrance to the grand uprenae dining room so if you are dining on Deck number three for your dinner or you are having lunch in here you will come here down to deck number three I hope that you enjoyed that ship just as
