Celebrity Homes That Nobody Wants to Buy!

[Music] what's up everyone I'm back starting off another video in the same outfit because I'm filming two videos today I'm gonna be bringing you kind of like a different video today I did my research and I found celebrity homes that no one wants to buy these are mega mansions that belong to like the top 1% richest people in the world I want to throw all these houses into a video and talk to you about the history behind them how big they are all the details and also who owned them and just include a ton of pictures video clips as much as I can but without rambling on let's go ahead and just dive into this video these are celebrity houses that no one wants to buy first to the table $0.50 the famous rapper 50 cent first listed his fifty thousand square foot home in Farmington Connecticut for eighteen point five million dollars in 2015 in the fall of that year he lowered the price significantly two point five million after he had filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy he again lowered the price this time to five point nine million in 2016 and the price has remained the same since the home is totally over the top with 21 bedrooms 25 bathrooms and indoor pool and a hot tub not to mention a huge indoor nightclub indoor court with multiple game rooms a green screen room and a recording studio 50 bought the home from the boxer Mike Tyson for 4.1 million and spent six million dollars renovating it he then put it on the market in 2007 for eighteen point five million it has been on and off the market ever since not to mention the house sits on 17 acres of land something that I love most about the house is the two-story foyer with the grand double staircase I believe it's called a butterfly staircase but correct me if I'm wrong either way this just screams wealth to me sadly the house remains on the market with no buyers and honestly I don't even think much interest in the house so I guess the disco die club casino indoor gym into a racquetball court indoor swimming pool garage and so much more well sadly sit here for a few more years [Music] Tommy Hilfiger's penthouse is a 5,600 square foot duplex in The Plaza Hotel and has been on the market since 2013 when fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and his wife first listed it for eighty million dollars it was later dropped to 75 million and then 68 million and then 58 million before it fell off the market in April it's now back on the market for 50 million dollars the condo is located on the 18th and 19th floors of the plaza and has four bedrooms with views of Central Park at Fifth Avenue nearly every room inside the all-american design duplex is homage to the historic hotel with detailed reminders of the plazas glory days from the napkins and the plates Tommy chose for the dining room two photographs of the powder room of the famous people who once stayed here before the Hilfiger family moved in although having extraordinary views and totally decked out with a redesigned huge penthouse this mansion remains on the market has been on the market for years and also looks like no one will be purchasing this house anytime soon and people even suggest more price cuts are probably going to be coming soon [Music] Jordan listed his Highland Park Illinois home for nearly 29 million dollars in 2012 five years later multiple price drops have not helped it move off the market it's currently for sale for about half of that at fourteen point eight million dollars there's a home theater a world-class workout room and a massive set of gates barring the number 23 across them the sprawling 56,000 square foot seven acre property was originally listed at almost 30 million dollars and has been on the market for more than six years like I mentioned the price has been slashed several times over that period and now is listed at just shy of fourteen point nine million the house is about 25 miles north of downtown Chicago the compound has 80 rooms including nine bedrooms it was originally built in 1995 and it underwent an extensive rehabilitation in 2009 according to the listing something really luxurious about this house is the circular infinity pool complete with a grass island at the center this is my favorite part about this whole house but also as crazy is the indoor section the outdoor section is just as wild and has a golf putting green but if basketball and golf aren't your thing you can always hit the tennis court that's located outside as well [Music] up next we have Donald Trump's luxurious st. Martin estate as an in Donald Trump's luxury st. Martin estate which he owns through two companies called Excel venture LLC and Excel venture Court was listed for 28 million dollars in May its price was later brought down by a little more than eleven million to sixteen point nine million in August Trump typically uses the Caribbean escape as a rental property and according to the disclosure he gets between $100,000 and a million dollars a year from it the sale is being handled by a trust run by Donald Trump jr. and Trump Organization executive Alan weasel boy it's reportedly survived hurricane Emma relatively undamaged in contrast to the widespread destruction that was brought to the rest of the island of Saint Maarten like I mentioned before the files indicate that the state looking over Plum Bay has mainly served as a rental investment pulling between a hundred thousand and a million dollars yearly vacation packages for the president's tropical refuge to start at six thousand dollars per night but during the winter holiday season it could even go up to twenty thousand dollars a night the mediterranean-style compound has 11 bedrooms spread across two villas and multiple outbuildings the larger villa has a two-story master bedroom with a jacuzzi bathtub and two private balconies the smaller villa has a number of themes bedrooms including the jungle room with a king-size bed there's also a pool cabana a two-bedroom managers house and a number of other red-roofed gazebos all enclosed with an 8 foot boundary wall according to the listing a vacation at the Trump estate comes with a full staff private chef on private one whole golf course private beach access and room for 20 people all of which offer a vacation of a lifetime according to the listing the up next is steve cohen sky mansion billionaire hedge funders steve cohen has been seeking a buyer for his Manhattan duplex penthouse since 2013 it's had a number of different listing prices 115 million 98 million 82 million 79 million 72 million 67 million and now 57 and a half million dollars the 9,000 square foot space has five bedrooms and six baths Cohen is an avid art collector and the home has a dedicated gallery to put his pieces on display Cohen who runs point 72 assessment management formerly si C capital picked up the apartment for twenty four million dollars in 2005 he hired the late architect Charles gaff maid to redesign the 9,000 square foot space located at one beacon court part of the Bloomberg tower complex its prime location of the southwest corner of Central Park it seems like a lot of people with these huge pent houses overlooking Central Park are having a hard time selling them because Steven Cohen can sell his is the Tommy Hilfiger penthouse that also overlooks Central Park in new [Music] but anyway guys and that's gonna wrap this video up if you did enjoy this video please slap a like on it drop a comment and subscribe to the channel you can also go ahead and click that notifications belt that'll let you know whenever I post a video also something really important to go ahead and follow all my social medias down below a Twitter Instagram snapchat I'm updating on them like constantly I know this video is a little different than usual but I thought it was really cool and hopefully you guys did enjoy but without rambling on I will see you in the next video later [Music]
