Catching Sharks from the Beach & How it Started

my favorite time of the year is finally here it's the black tip shark migration this is my by far my favorite thing ever this is what got me started to saltwater fishing and to this day I started to do it at 13 years old I still love it as much as I did back then ramiz in our black debate surf fishing shock rigs where the cast out some chunks of bait hopefully catch some sharks I just caught this jacket ball in the intercostal cut off his head my favorite part bait I've got a lot of juice look at that I always try to put the head out at the first bait it's got the most blood it's got juices in it it's just an all-around awesome piece of bait and it actually holds out there really long you can keep a bait head out the fresh like 45 minutes dump the crabs tearing apart this is the first bit I always recommend putting out alright so put this jack I like to hook it right above the head a little bone right there leave your hook very exposed so you don't miss the fight good cast see what happens in the pipe she goes in 2003 that was my first time ever coming to Florida and I saw my buddy Tom catch a blacktip shark on the beach and I was like oh my gosh the coolest thing ever so I literally when I was 14 years old I got all the gear I got my first real I still have that real by the way and I got a rod and threw a bait out his spring break and I hooked my first black tip I fought it for over an hour I was like oh my gosh this is amazing after hoping that fish I said look at this I am moving to Florida I have to live here this is the greatest thing ever and to this day catching black tip sharks from the beach is probably my all-time favorite thing it really doesn't get any better they're just an incredible sport fish they make extremely fast hard runs they jump they charge they hit lures you can catch them a million different ways - just my favorite fish man I swear we named the channel after black - Paige stands for black tip hunter you guys didn't know that and hopefully today we catch some fish hopefully we get I don't know we'll see you man I can see them out there swimming out there hopefully we need them to push in just a little bit I think we're gonna bite moving south hold up I can see something right here Nashawn whoa yeah all right oh he's way out there always jumping he's jumping up a lot oh my gosh she's going crazy charging his shirt you ain't done yet oh he's right there first shark of the day did you get him in come on come on there you guys are in the way beautiful first black tip shark of the day it's a male for around 80 90 pounds let's let him go all right foam soap wallet so should have put that in the bag earlier but that's the first one and some more off the mosquito bait for number two piece of Jack the ball just like that so when I put the broad in mice and spike I like my drag actually really tight like a Lele like pod like I don't know like ten pounds of drag on the line my theory is the sharks sucking the bait and when he sucks it in you want him to just turn his head and that serve hope just go right in the corner mouth and give a tight drag and usually always happens if you have a really big bait doesn't work out that way cuz he's got to chew on it but if it's a smaller bait like only just through most of the time the hook will go right in the corner of the mouth I see sharks around where I cast here we go ready look there we go fish on fish shot all round number two whoo I want a joke charging real this you're gonna jump right here and get up out of there in two don't forget he's gonna jump again here we go running now and prop come on right there fired up has it been more than five minutes if we got the second fish on there is let's check this guy out dude he got a he got attacked Wow someone saw him bit him that's an older wound but so I'm coming got him pull harder pull harder there you go beautiful thank you second black tip shark of the day I love these things man they fight so hard they jump so strong getting back in the water whoo number two you know what let's go for third the catfish actually one of the best black tip baits but not good for anything else these hard heads they're miserable things but they're awesome black to bait there we go perfect hook set right there I think it's a shark every time on beach fishing I bring our my black debate buff out here and this just keeps you from getting sunburned is really really important and also keeps your face for getting sandblasted which that sucks to sunburn sandblast and lots of salt your face no good well wear one of these if you guys want to get one of these actually black to face or go to black debate calm or click the link in the description get one right now we also have shirt pad anything black the beach you can buy it there fish on fish on all he's jumping jumping like crazy he's wrapped in a leader oh wait he's free he's charging right here he's literally right here here oh my god hey that's insane you doing back in 2005 I caught some sharks in the beach no one believed me that I caught sharks from the beach so in 2006 I uploaded my first YouTube channel YouTube video of me catching a shark from the beach to prove that I can catch a shark from the beach because where I grew up by Detroit no one thought that was possible he's renting a beach so that's how black tip H on YouTube got started I'm on that's the third black tip of the day there off the fish mail a lot of males today so we're gonna let him go say he's around 75 80 pounds let's go come on now just get him out there you go just like that so what I do when I release some knee deep hold on tight turn them push them you're not one of you turns around you get other water as fast as possible they will try to bite you they're not they're not friendly when you catch I just put the drone in the air the Sharks have moved way south over a thousand yards so I mean I haven't seen a shark here in a boat 45 minutes it's been really quiet I think it's time for us to pack it up maybe go get a pizza celebrate we caught three sharks defending an awesome day this is just the beginning migration does give me a lot more of this guy so stay tuned for black tip shark migration you guys are down here come and enjoy it catch the black tips from the beach by a black base terrific shark rig that's all you do is tie down your line cast it out there and you'll catch them thanks for watching guys make sure you check out our e-commerce store black sea bass our comm link in the description subscribe if you haven't already subscribed and we'll see you next time [Music] [Music]
