This Tuna was MASSIVE!!

[Music] oh my gosh we just got two hours of sleep we already got fish on in five minutes look at this reel dude that's a big dog joe now we're strapped in yeah 130 stand up hey wait chad how long did that take if i don't get him in five minutes i don't get him bro what the heck is going on right now oh i hope they don't get together they're under me yeah i think you're gonna be under joe jack go forward i'm slack i'm slack here we go here we go here we go that's a giant dude what's awesome right now guys we're fighting this on our black tip h shark rod that we designed but this thing's not just for sharks you can catch anything on this catch a grander shark grand or marlin full drag one third oh my gosh gosh look at this giants they're airing i might have underestimated the size of this fish said the same thing a couple times before all that worked for nothing i thought he was tiny he's starting to get really big on me yeah they surprised you you know yellow fins when you catch them they're like cookie cutters you know but a bluefin if he's 105 inches he could be 450 pounds he could be 800 pounds you know what i mean like they're they're like people oh there's your 600 foot oh you just pulled man he just pulled 100 he's gone all right well keep it tight here hold on hold on get him on the other one jeez guys you just pulled thank god we hooked two right he is on the surface oh my gosh dude he's on the surface fighting like a giant hammerhead that's crazy that is wild dude they're airing out behind the boat just it's just it's going off i guarantee you if we put two more baits we'd have two more tunas on dude this thing feels legit bro joe this is this thing feels legit it's good and it's a big one this could be 800. the last 100 feet is is the heart is the hardest they get down there down and dirty sometimes they'll black back on you when you're catching big fish and you have braid or holocore backing there's no better feeling in the world than having that mono on that's cool that is just you just know life is good we hooked both fish at the same time double header this fish has been on there for about 45 minutes now all right we're good we're nice and tight nice tight big fish guys i can feel his tail those tail there there's a frequency there that's not little that's the tail right there forward forward get them out let's go gosh dude are you kidding me right now guys he's right there one one head shake and he came off it's a heartbreaker that when he when they both pulled it was so tight dude yo i know now you're fishing man that's all it is we're just fish just fishing oh yeah all right [Music] oh he's gone and he's gone guys look how tight that line is listen to that we're fighting this fish guys the whole time in low gear forward forward forward forward forward he's turning towards let's turn towards us when you're fighting big fish like this it's a it's a team effort it's the anglers the captain it's everyone on the boat you can't catch big fish like this all by yourself all right we're really tired right now hold on stand still there he goes here he goes this is his final run right here i've said that before when the fish pulls like that i can i can feel it oh yeah this is my first experience fighting big bluefin and not not a hundred percent but these kind of runs it reminds me a lot of like a big camera a big hammerhead so they said to tag some giants out here last year they were just talking on the radio and the fish they tagged last year just popped up and they're all canary islands and the azores are you serious and madeira yeah pretty cool that's crazy oh oh oh oh there he got mad this is the worst part of fighting tunas right here the back breaking moment so we just put the vinyl tubing on in case this tuna gets miserable and we're going to switch off and gun on dude my knees my knees bro are so bad i got i got a switch good yeah let me get back to hold him now we're good we're getting you just hold me from behind yeah that's how we get all the big sharks like this that's interesting i like that and the tube protects the rod and the boat from being scratched it's just like a big shark now so i can get up and i use the waves like this so i can i can wedge them up it's a sweet spot right here in that little slot you got a big mark yeah is it him no three fish dude if elias got some cookies biggest bluefins they'd be eating people imagine a 1500 pound life his mouth would be this big brother he's turning the boat hundred percent how big's this boat uh 50 foot 50 football he's turning it oh he's running now you got a little mad there i think he just saw the boat he's like what's that big thing my hand is a lot of the drag literally a battle inch by inch he takes an inch i damaged like we're at the final stretch here the last 50 feet of line and it's it's a grind there he is oh he's giant dude oh my god you're a giant bro oh you how big is that one i can't tell you he's over 100 inches talk about a leg burn bro don't pull too hard he's a giant guys bro i just saw that dude that's jumbo right there i don't think i want to pull i mean we we've got the release but we got to get pictures for tv you know i'm jumping in with this thing dude 100 i'm gonna be so refreshed i don't care the water's four degrees it's gonna be amazing oh my gosh i'm the guy that never quits that's the problem you got fish oh my gosh he's coming up dude ready you got the leader oh my gosh dude that's a blue fin right there folks he's 600 anyway bro he's giant dude oh my gosh bro yep drags off dude you gotta go i know right now right now here we go i'm going in hold your hat sunglasses yeah you're gonna size that bluefin tuna oh my gosh what a monster that's what's got that blue fed tuna are you kidding me let him go i'm trying survival good he's too heavy for me no i don't get back in the boat bro there's a freaking mako shark underneath the boat dude there he goes he's riding it look there he goes and he's officially gone mission complete and we did it guys about a 600 pound giant bluefin tuna third time's the charm aficionado captain jack joe north carolina these are the guys you want to fish oh my gosh congratulations oh cool that was a stunt oh my god look at the hook yeah dude yeah yeah hook's bent he swam off beautiful dude i think he was he had to go 600. almost i'm gonna call that's a big fish man it's bigger than any goliath grouper i can tell you that my biggest glass 650 so setting you oh man it's crazy i mean we've caught some nice ones this year and i ain't blowing smoke up or nothing i mean that was that's the biggest fish we've caught all year he was insane he was 700 pounds anyway and i mean right bite right the thing is is if you think about it we lost two but i know that neither one of those fish were nearly you know the size of that fish you know they they came too easily you know you saw how that fish kind of right there at the end he was just evil you know took all my strength bro like my legs are jello i bet they are [Laughter] congratulations you want to know something scary guys i got really scared in the water there was a good reason i felt something there was something eerie underneath me within 15 minutes of letting go that tuna someone's 500-pound bluefin got annihilated by a giant mako shark within 200 yards of our boat yeah how scary is that they live out there dude i tried to tell you but you know i mean we we did it we did it for the people we did it for you guys never doing that again cold water giant mako sharks eating tuna is bigger than me not cool not doing that again i got to thank my man travis here dude he's the one that hooked us up with aficionado these guys are tuna slayers if you guys
