Canik TP9 Elite SC upgrades and review

hello guys and welcome back to my channel this is gonza ross all right guys today i'm gonna be reviewing my uh mechanic tp9 elite suit compact all right so this is my uh my compact uh handgun uh so i bought this one for 400 something dollars a couple of months ago all right the reason i'm gonna review this one is because i missed this gun on my last gun collection uh review all right and some guys are asking i just keep that one uh you should review it so there you go i'm going to review today all right so i bought it um i would say like two months ago maybe maybe yes like two months ago so it's a thousand grade with a black uh uh grip and this one is from taylor freelance all right so it comes with two um backstrap the one that is gonna be installed on the gun let me put the gun to the side and see uh what is coming in the box okay so it's gonna be uh maybe kind of like a medium size and then a large size i won't say a large yeah like a medium like a medium and a and large let's call it medium large back strap right it comes with another uh two different plates this plate will be will be coming on the on the on the 12 round magazine and you can actually this is for the pinky extension for your pinky because it's a small size and grip and this one's going to be for if you don't want the pinky station and you want it more smaller so you can conceal it uh more all right so it comes with a holster there you go i also modified this holster i hit it up too much right here so i modified this one a little bit more so it takes a curve on my waist um the cup the holster comes with the configuration with the clips inside so you can take it off and switch it to the other side out of the belt or in the belt and wait i'm not inside the waist um what else is coming here this little thing right here yeah um it actually comes with uh this right here so this is the the the cap for the slime when you don't want to um you don't want to have a regular side on the on the on the gun uh actually it comes with the trigger lock this one is for my romeo it comes with this box right here i don't think i have used any anything from here oh yeah it comes with some different sizes of screws for um for the different optics and the plate some allen keys and another another pin i think this one is for the back strap i'm not 100 sure it is it is for the back strap yeah so it comes with an extra one i believe this one is a plastic maybe it sounds like metal metal and that's about it it doesn't there's nothing else in the in the little box there you go uh it comes with two magazines like i say one is a 12 round and this one is a 15 all right um i changed the back strap for the grip for the tailored freelance so the taylor freelance uh have like a little mag war right here and it's pretty cool man because you know for the reloading all you have to do is bam so you're hitting the the the cone right here and it's going fast inside all right so it's not a full mag well but it will help out with the reloading there you go it's better than the uh than this one you see that is just flat also um i'm 100 sure oh yeah you can yeah so with that one you can you can use the regular 15 round right um i have changed the 12 round magazine right i need to order another one because i like to have the small one for when i want to conceal it and i don't want no i don't want no uh i don't i don't want to print the gun so this one is flat all the way here right uh i had where is it i had the pinky uh extension so let's imagine this is the the regular size of the magazines right here see how small it is right there you go but i decided to get another extension um i saw i had two extensions for my tb9s effects and i was like you know what let me try it on my uh on my on my on my subcompact to see how it fits so this one is a total round and this is a plus nine so it's pretty cool you have 12 plus nine that's 21 rounds you know that's that's that's a lot for a small compact gun like this one and it actually looks pretty good too you know you can actually it's not actually you can have more grip for the gun right here you see so you can carry this one in the pocket on the side or in a holster inside your shirt and then have the 15 on the gun still small or you can have another 12 round which is gonna be like about this size all right um the only thing i had done to this gun i will gonna i just i i'm going to change the springs inside to reduce the weight on the springs also i'm going to reduce um i'm going to get another recoil spring to reduce the weight on that spring i leave it like this for a while see on the safe to reduce the tension on the spring it reduced a little bit when it was new man that [ __ ] it was really really really really tough to put that slide but now it's uh now it's better so if you get it new you know all you have to do is leave it like this whenever you get the chance and it will take that tension off the spring or you just can't or you just change the spring and get a less uh pound rico spring all right so i got taylor freelance i got taylor freelance on the on the mac actually they come with the regular place too um see this mac have this right here that will fit right there perfectly all right also um they come with the plus five and the regular uh plate with uh zero extension just the taylor freelance style all right um so i got the red one i was gonna put the red uh extension and go with the red i'm going to change this one all right now it's red i'm going to change it for a gray one so everything much and gray you know nice and neat and uh but still i'm gonna get the same uh taylor freelance for uh on the gray color so so it's kind of like a daunting tungsten gray well at least that's what i ordered all right so it matched with everything you see the old light is kind of like a like a gray two the slide and then the rest is black so the same thing i'm gonna be ordering um once i change the springs also i'm gonna change uh the trigger i'm going to put a uh uh freedom smith uh trigger on here i got i got a freedom uh trigger on my uh mechanic tp9 sfx mine is pretty good all right let me ruin the magazine make sure there's nothing in there and you see that look at the takeoff of that or that trigger is barely any take off boom right there bam break and of course it's gonna be the nice uh reset for the cannons nothing nothing all right same with this one all right this one's gonna have more more takeoff but at the same time the reset is like nothing boom beautiful like all the mechanics have a beautiful uh reset all right um so i'm rocking at romeo a romeo zero here and uh you know it's a budget site man this thing was like less than less than 200 dollars and you know any rental sites uh a good one goes over two hundred dollars but i'm i won't regret having this right outside i haven't for a while already um well i say three months i think i have this gun for more than three months i gotta check my receipts um but i haven't had any trouble with this one i already went to a range shoot shoot again and it's keeping zero you haven't died you know the only thing that i don't like too much is uh the set the the setup for the brightness is inside the lens so when you touch here if you have a big uh big sausage fingers you're gonna leave a mark on the on the on the glass all right and then you're gonna have to clean it later but not a big deal i mean but i like the the the fact that there's no uh controls on the outside you know it's plain you know i mean and you can grab the red deal side right here you know has some kind of like a stippling uh on the side too that match with this one too so it match and the side is perfect you know i mean it's perfect co-win is perfect with the regular size that comes with the gun there are not nice sides but they recharge with the light the one the black is a blackout have an indicator here when the slide has been pulled right it's not a round indicator it's it's an indicator that the slide is being charged once you press the trigger it's gone all right so you see again it's gonna show up again there's no lumination inside so it's not a round indicator all right now there's a round indicator there's a round indicator right here there you go you see how the bar comes up means that there's a round in the chamber all right there you go once you get rid of that around the bars comes down again so that's the indicator so you have two uh safety uh features you got this one that is it indicates that you pull the slide and the trigger is ready to pull and you have another one for the round all right this one i take this one even if it's not for the round like it was for the round all right because if this one is in the back that tells me that maybe there's a round in the in the chamber right so i would say this one is extra it's not there's no need for this one since i'm looking for this one and i take it like this charge all right um yeah so taylor uh oh my god taylor uh freedom smith trigger is coming for this one um i'm trying to get i'm trying to get a gray one if not then i'm gonna go for black and uh or black and gray sometimes i have some colors you know but you have to make the purchase really fast because those three years goes like water right um they're pretty good and they buy them and sometimes they have like one in that color in stock so there's not too many uh to pick from all right but i'm looking for that trigger for this one change the springs on the inside uh the barrel i'm not going to change the battery i'm going to let the battery like that and then i have the old light um i like the old light because it's rechargeable you know and once you have that connected if you use it for uh if you use it for home defense i don't use this one for home defense but if you use it for home defense you leave the plug and the nine you're gonna see the green light like this one right here blinking all you have to do is pull the gun you don't have to disconnect anything once you pull that gun out of the out of the out of the light the light is gonna be fully charged and you have approximately maybe like 45 minutes of light all right which is not bad also you have the laser you have the option you have the you know you have the the light you have the light with the laser or you just have the laser now i like the laser because once you put the laser all you have to do is find your red dot and match it with the green dot right so this one this one will help you to find that dot in the red sox and the red dot real quick there you go so it's a nice feature all right um it's a very durable light uh it's adjustable so you can put it in any gun you know but we're not reviewing the light i already did that but that's the light that i use on there i like it with my mini me with that 21 round extension or you can use it with a 12 or you can use it with the 15. all right guys so that's all i have um also the holster that comes with it is not bad it's a nice holster but you cannot use lights in there so i got the configuration for inside the waist so that's why i uh heat it up a little bit so i can take the shape my weights on the side boom nice nice holder you know and it's it's not kydex it's like a hard plastic and it's soft so it's not gonna scratch you're gonna i know the cutlass is a it's a little hard and will scratch your uh your paint or your circle but that's all i have guys um nice little gun i hope you guys like my review nothing fancy i'm not gonna take it off there's there's plenty of plenty of videos out there um breaking the gun uh off you know and and doing all that good stuff you know so i just want to show you this one because i missed it on my uh on my last video i hope you guys out wait wait a second one more thing one more thing i got one more thing all right so you can use a you can use a a regular tp uh tp9 regular size uh magazine all right so any any 18 round magazine is 18 for foreign will fit in there all right and there's a guy that uh print this uh these spacers all right in the print the print the print is pretty good all right so on this side that i i don't remember if it's playing or not i just did some stippling on this side i have the same marks of the same marks that have in the front pretty cool you know the guy the guy you know um that make it uh found this on anyway i had to grind it a little bit it looks ugly on the inside but it's because it's not the same factory on a bathtub i'm using the taylor freelance but there you go put it in there and close that gap and then you have a full 17 round and a full a full uh grip 17 round really good all right so that's all i got that's all i had guys for you um hope you guys like it i will see you guys in the next video let me see i can actually fit the 18 oh wait i just found something out something you can use well not not this one not this one but you know a little bit modification you can probably use uh 18 plus 9 18 plus 9 so that's what 27 rounds on here but still you can use this one without the spacer look at that 18 plus 9 27 round mag boom for spare it doesn't look that good but you know it doesn't have to look good to get the job done all right all right guys i will see you guys on the next video i hope you meta uh um pistols they have the combat pistols man that comes with some good stuff right if you don't have a mechanic i advise you to get your canning because canik is a nice nice nice really gun this is one of the first generation mechanics that came out all right so actually i want to buy a glock and the guy was like uh i have this one right here 500 and i will advise you to get this one over the clock and there you go i did some uh customizations you know this on stair planes i weld the back strap that comes on this one since it's my size it's not going to be changed i weld it in there with the stippling uh i have a burst fast fire three i got the handle for uh to recharge it from taylor freelance i'm rocking a tlr9 1000 lumens that's a perfect life for that long slide i have the uh freedom smith uh trigger i already showed you guys uh the short reset i have the competition uh mac release from taylor freelance they painted for you in any color you want for five dollars as a request um i went with orange everybody have uh kind of like the same colors i want to be different i'm different and that looks pretty good so i have the magwell from taylor freelance too um polish the barrel that burst is polished really nice i took my time i didn't want to take uh any metal so i went slow and it came out pretty good you can see that the chrome and then uh i didn't feel an orange on the inside on the edge of the metal and then you can see the chrome inside too really nice you know in my opinion it looks really nice for me i like it you know but you know everybody likes the same thing very nice very nice all right so with the extendo magazine that will come out good for all the fans you know i mean really easy to charge 27 rounds 1 000 lumens fast trigger full full grip and a long slide for more accurate accuracy boom nice on defense and competition gun all right and on the budget all right guys so that's it that's all i have for you guys um please subscribe if
