Canik TP9 Elite SC Part 2, red dot install

what up what up YouTube uh Emilio Aurelia here uh finishing up a little bit of this uh videos on the mechanic series that I've been doing um I did buy myself a couple months ago and I got a video on me shooting 250 rounds through my uh new canick TP tp9 Elite SC uh nine millimeter and I put 250 rounds with it I throw it I was really happy gunshot great uh people talk about this trigger it is really a nice trigger the gun's light uh accurate as hell and heck sorry uh and uh and decided you know what what the heck let's not put why not put a red dot I don't have any guns that have an optic on them uh other than regular sites and this has got some really nice sights on it actually um the I've showed them to you in the last one but what I'm doing now is I'm going to go ahead and put this red dot on I've taken the liberty of starting this already and so what I did was I took oh we'll we'll continue here with the gun uh with the camera turn around I took the uh slide off the gun already and here it is right here uh and what I did is um I already removed the plate which fits right on right there um there was a little difficulty getting this off and I didn't want to scratch it but if you turn this over and God I apologize my lighting's crummy but this set of holes that that first set to my right um that is uh right under the plate and you just simply take the little allen wrench and you shove it through the hole and you tapped it a few times and then the plate popped right off the top and so of course the things that are supposed to be super easy to do don't work out that way when you actually align this plate with the Crimson Trace 1550 Red Dot sight that I'm putting on this gun there's a shot of the stats of what I'm putting on this and here's the actual Crimson Trace 1550 itself you'll note when you line them up that the holes for the Crimson Trace here don't line up with the uh Canik blank there however kanik uh being smart guys I guess uh they've actually got two sets there and while the original screw that went into the Canik here didn't fit the rear ones here they give you this little tool kit that has stuff and part of it are bigger screws and so the bigger screw fits right in the rear one there and so I'm going to go ahead and screw this puppy on and we'll slap it on the gun and I'll tell you what you got what I think and you guys can make your own decision on what you think too and so finally guys I apologize for my absolutely poor filmmaking skills here but we have got this on uh quite literally taking this slide off was the longest part of the installation procedure this thing literally screwed right on perfectly it's a perfect fit I put a little bit of blue thread Locker on there from Loctite and let's see if you can see it but there is it's it's got co-witnessing um so you can not only see the Red Dot and that's much more enhanced I think the sun's doing something there we go not only can you co-witness and use your original site but you've also got the Red Dot right there as well and so that's it literally that I'm telling you that if if anything that took five minutes and so now the only thing that I've got to do is go ahead and it's got this adjusting tool and this adjusting tool you go ahead and you pop it right in here and that'll adjust uh left right and then you've also got the adjustment right there uh up down and so you're good to go so uh that's it that literally that took well this video is four minutes took a little longer than that but it's nothing more really than a five um minute installation out of curiosity I'm gonna see whether it fits with the holster that they also gave sorry guys I'm doing this with one hand and look at that it does with clearance so literally it fits right in the holster that comes with the Canik the Crimson Trace Red Dot sight doesn't bind or hook up on that uh holster at all sorry I gotta learn how to edit anyway that's it guys that took five minutes literally and so now it's just a matter of going and pumping some rounds through this bad boy and see how she looks but looks kind of wicked if you ask me hopefully she's nice and accurate and who knows you know with that red dot and easier Target acquisition maybe that'll be something that's just a lot easier and I enjoy uh more than the open site although I'll tell you that I really did like to open sight on this gun so there we go uh thanks YouTube
