Candid Camera Classic: Escalator Trap!

[Music] here we are in New Orleans at the Landmark Superdome and they've got a lot of escalators here and here's one that takes you up two floors you ride up to a small landing make a short turn and you go well you see we fixed this escalator so it's coming the wrong way now let's see what happens as some folks find themselves in this dilemma [Music] he's stuck [Music] you see there's no place to go on this small landing you're either up or you're down or you're nowhere this is a fellow who takes it slow and easy on escalators [Music] sized up the problem gets himself in position to go back down of course that's going the wrong way oh he's gonna make a run [Music] we noticed that some people seem to think that problems with escalators can cure themselves if you wait long enough so this fellow will make his second try to go up the down escalator down the up escalator [Music] now here's a woman who is delivering pizzas and she's gonna fight her way up the escalator but those pizzas must be very heavy right back down now this woman handled the escalator dilemma but when dick stepped out to talk to her scared her to death did you write that sorry okay [Music]
