Can I Survive In Fallout 4 With Only PIPE WEAPONS?

recently i released a video mentioning how fallout 4's pipe weapons are kind of the most underrated weapon type in the entire game well as part of that video i said i would give a survival permadeath run a go by only using that of pipe weapons at my disposal here is a roughly 40 minute long highlight video of that play-through and just how badly things got trust me things got bad really fast for me to be happy with the goal in this challenge my task was pretty much simple get out of the vault secure myself a various amount of pipe weapons make my way to diamond city and progress through a majority of the storyline upgrading my pipe weapon as i went proving that they could be viable in the later stages of the game just how well did things go well you'll have to see i don't know what we're doing by the way will i be playing with piper as a companion no maybe no no no no we have our rules no companions no power armor no vats general survival permadeath rules apply that pipe should be allowed no i mean okay all right pipe wrench lead pipe is allowed but i'm not gonna use them here is my pet fly his name is jimmy i'm sorry jimmy just step in here and put your vault suit on i'm sorry throwing the fly like he's gonna throw this run we're good you know what i'm gonna say it right now this is gonna be a and done run we're going to do one attempt we're not going to die we're going to make it all the way to the end of the game and we're going to finish it in one go that's it easy you guys don't believe me watch this get our first pipe weapon hello oh oh no brush him oh no main place to do all of our [ __ ] this is where we're gonna do our weapon crafting because we have to fast travel everywhere so it's easier this way i'm just trying to think what i want to do let's go to piper's office i think i think we can get a free level up from piper's office no we can't fast travel so we have to walk everywhere that's all i meant to say sorry whether she upstairs yes i do think your latest video is a bit [ __ ] jammo i don't agree with the points you make and uh you are pretty stupid should i get involved in this i want to get involved in this because i want one of we're gonna make our way to concord and do that quest real quick the quest that nearly ruined fallout we've gone rifles we're gonna go mix of single fire and automatic oh my god the sight is so [ __ ] on this i've gotta level up maybe i should go for like toughness just kind of make the early game a bit easier yeah i'm going to go for it i think we're going to struggle a bit early game but somewhere this quest almost ruined fallout 4. it kind of pans me that i'm never going to live that down every time i do this quest now it's all people mentioned oh i got the achievement that level up again oh my god i did uh let's go for automatic damage can i complete this quest without picking up this i don't know if we can complete this quest but we'll try you can we'll see i don't know there's gonna be a lot of damage we got to kill a deathclaw man we're probably gonna die here but this is the only quest i can think of doing okay i gotta watch out for gristle oh [ __ ] it's starting do a buff out do i not have a cycle i do okay i need you guys to come around here come on come on nice oh and so it begins boys the deathclaw is going to hide because it can't see us it kind of get to us oh my god we don't do a lot of damage at all that's a sneak with my best weapon my best weapon go get him garvey go get him dude get him pressed on did i hit it oh it kind of did hello i'm here hello this is deathclaw i have to cheese it i'm sorry but i cannot win this fight legit movie a [ __ ] it's so close to dead oh god oh it's tails off oh my god i didn't know you could shoot the tails off hello you can shoot the tails off i mean it makes sense i mean i know that lizards lose their tails and [ __ ] cool but like look i did not know that it's so wiggly it's so wiggly i never noticed that yucky yucky all right kind of cool little cool detail hold on to that power armor now i haven't picked it up in the first place all right let's go talk to preston i'm just wondering what we should do we're gonna like balance some bow for a bit i think we should put a scope on this this could be our like long-range weapon wait what did i just put on it how oh i cheated no i cheated i put the wrong scope on how's this so i put the [ __ ] side on it's even worse i know all right there's a good chance we're gonna die here okay that was a lot easier than i thought it would be it's time to die trish like the way that they do this section i think this is the one of the coolest moments in the entirety of like fallout is this bit this reveal it's kind of cool oowoo people of the commonwealth it is i the brotherhood of ooze to you should we do the railroad missions now yeah that's what we're going to do next how did you know oh my god did you like read my mind you dirty little batch yeah we're doing railroad streamer is cheating he has infinite sprint on actually i have uh 21 endurance meaning that i'm able to run across the entire map without my ap draining there she goes how the [ __ ] do i have 21 endurance 10 base game plus i have two from solar powered which is really helpful i also have plus free from buff tats plus three from psych above one from there all right chad we're gonna go kill swan here we go one of the biggest moments in gaming history today is the day we destroy swan and his stupid minions and his fascist rhetoric today jabba with a huge eagle decided to go outside of his comfort zone and use pipe weapons only and when he was doing this run he popped his drugs and before you knew it swan was dead wait let's go yeah baby we've come so far off with his head no i will say one thing i think the super mutants is what they did wrong in this game superiors kind of suck there's too many of them law wise oh i don't really care about the law but i just want being visually they just look ugly we are currently set at level 15 we have 80 protection overall we do 31 damage per shot we have a sniper rifle and a submachine gun uh although the submachine gun is not fully automatic because we [ __ ] it up so it's single fire so i might have to change that back but it's fine the way it is right now we're gonna spec into rifleman that's our plan 31 damage is weak but we're using pipe weapons so until we get a legendary there's not really much we can do about it we're gonna join the railroad and then get uh ballistic weave oh i panicked i panicked that was a legendary i panicked not gonna lie it spins hello he's not gonna guess our secret password that's basically just the name of our faction that is basically written on every single wall in the game i hate this [ __ ] like let's just say the secret was the password was deacon so you'd have to find out that deacon was following you and find that information out right instead the game just like oh railroad no the puzzle is original but the the password is not the password could be better oh oh legendary oh should we fight this might be the stupidest decision i've ever made oh my god he's coming up oh my god there's one right there hello where the [ __ ] are you oh i nearly fell my hands are sweaty all right that my friends is how you clear out the raiders legendary maya lurk oh [ __ ] i it's not the best because it's not fully automatic and it's a pipe revolver but i can turn this into a good gun i probably can so this means i never have to reload i didn't do the music oh [ __ ] what the [ __ ] we can turn that into a weapon we can turn that into a weapon i 100 guarantee it whether or not it's gonna be a good weapon we'll see but we can turn that into a single fire revolver rifle gotta sit and do nothing for like ages because uh this part is [ __ ] boring so worst part of the dlc worst part of the entire [ __ ] game name a moment in the entire game that's worse than this you look insane i think it's about time we uh just go you know get the bro steal and get him to come in here and kill everyone at this point because this is like i don't care about this [ __ ] all but pipe weapons are awesome i would really love a legendary pipe weapon though to carry me through the rest of the game but one can dream is that actually going to hit me oh my god dude the health dude she's barely took any damage going into this run i really didn't expect it to be that much different to all the other fallout challenge runs that i usually do but i kind of realized that this was the first time that a lot of you guys had came across my twitch stream and had came across me as a personality that is live and not really that of a youtuber because one of the things i struggle with the most on youtube is trying to put my humor into video form however on twitch i've been i mean i've been streaming now for like what three to four years i'm really accustomed to being a you know loud excessively you know jokey person and it was great to have some of you guys come over to my twitch stream and see that and this was a great opportunity to have some fun with fallout 4 and try something out that was completely different and to be fair the pipe weapons did fall off in damage after a while and in retrospect i do think that you are supposed to move away from them after a certain amount of time but overall i enjoyed this playthrough but like all good things they must come to an end and unfortunately i was blindsided and got too shot by a robot uh um l [Laughter] god no oh my god it's rewind dive i think today we're just gonna end the game work towards uh work towards doing the brothers deal wow what did she say what you're saying that you only might just say what you're saying bro
