Buying At The Auction - Buy in Bulk A True Mystery!

all right everyone welcome back another day it's kind of raining they're cutting grass back at this establishment it's another auction day geez i'm stepping branches but let's make it a fun one and uh try to find some treasure tailgate auction day so it's kind of cool it's interesting people show up with whatever they put on a bunch of tables and then they sell it so you really never know what to expect because there's no photos and you don't know who's selling it's very very random but hopefully you can find some things and make it a good one let's do it [Music] right [Music] it's kind of cool still got the uh the name on it tap handle franklin never heard of that this is all newer stuff i don't have to flip it over you can see the lines on it's up i love this auction because you buy a lot uh paid two dollars for all this great merchandise here right here um i really like these advertisements i'm gonna suffer for advertisement especially small is this for uh that's weird that's crazy i have all this stuff to pack get your fake fruits can't eat your real fruits probably cheaper than real fruits i got a whole nother table over there is oh big surprise here uh two probie ones though that one probably one over here another one right here yeah there's actually two pro v1 so that's good good deal okay yeah this i thought was pretty cool i don't know it came in a robot i think my total bill right now for like all those tables is like four dollars let's have a date on it does not oh it does oh 1988 rock and roll was rock and roll still hot in the 80s or late 80s or was it more early 80s 70s i would not know i was not alive so i cannot tell you someone out there should probably let me know because rock and roll is like an era of music that i think a lot of people enjoyed and uh i think there's a little bit of misconception of when those years were someone out there is going to say rock and roll is still alive it might be for me [Music] why all right heading out of here uh great auction again i bought a lot of stuff i spent nine dollars and fifty cents with buyers premium uh if anyone wants to check it out it's les buyers auction he has these once a month uh probably find an auction zip as well uh but yeah less bar is that the silver creek i want to call it a country club but silver creek something very cool all right so on the way back i decide i'll drive through this college town so i just went trash picking here the other day and there was so many cars definitely moving out i'm not seeing anything over here um yeah so i guess with everything going on this year this was like less students as well i think we'll take a left but i decided to drive through here just briefly i mean a couple days ago when i went trash picking this was packed you cannot park anywhere so even if there was stuff i mean good luck trying to even get out yeah it's that wood thing no wood and then a bunch of like pillows all right give it a go guys having trouble wow oh we got inventory now uh what i say is enough for the flea market i don't think there's enough uh i'm not gonna say higher quality merchandise but there's a lot of 50 cent dollar items here uh i spent a whopping total of 9.50 today which is crazy because i bought a lot of stuff i got like mirrors and all sorts of housewares why do i feel like i just grabbed something like this coffee maker so oh yeah i got it from uh i might call it the christmas house the house that how all that vintage christmas outside they had one of these it's amazing to me how many things we find over and over it's like the same thing one amateur mistake i made today was not bringing bins whenever i kind of go to auctions or if you're kind of curious and you kind of want to go to auctions generally speaking the two things i would ever bring if i have a hand truck or if i have a truck if i have a truck or a van would be a hand truck and probably three or four extra bins um now just because i put something in a bin doesn't mean i'm gonna take it to the flea market like a bin um but it's just so much easier to just like move stuff with bins or boxes uh whereas like this i'd like carry three baskets by itself all this by itself um it's very easy if you just come prepared my kind of thing though whenever i bring bins whether it be trash picking or flea mar or tr whenever i bring bins to trash pick or an auction is i always end up not buying like anything so just like i don't know if you say it's superstition but that's just how like the cookie crumbles i got a lot of random things data we've got some milk glass a couple holsters ten dollars this person had you'll see what you'll see with these uh tailgate auctions is there's a lot of stuff uh in the past have been some someone who might have had an antique store or had an antique booth they'll bring the stuff to the tailgate auction or if they had a yard sale didn't sell at a yard sale to bring it to a tailgate auction uh what's kind of weird with doing like buying and selling and auctions in general is like for this one uh you don't really have like that kind of person who does like their house clean out or cleans out their house uh or cleans out a garage for someone else you don't have that kind of seller or consignor at these auctions it's almost like everyone there is a reseller in some way uh so it's usually either leftovers or things they don't want to bother with but they bought somewhere else you never have uh a lot of hundred dollar or 200 items pop up in fact i don't think anything's ever gone over like 100 bucks in all the years i've been doing this at this auction it's just a whole different kind of crowd but i did buy a lot of remaining lots is why i have all this stuff but i got some smalls as well got a harley bike unfortunately it's not the real thing these are like soda caps maybe that might be for no not a bottle opener uh there are also a lot of pencils outer fur's bologna company bologna bologna bologna company home of quality hickory smoked hams dried beef etc harleysville pennsylvania surprisingly people do collect people do collect advertisement pens and pencils similar to people collecting yardsticks i had a problem when i was like in elementary school i used to chew on these wood pencils i don't know why so i can almost taste this how's this for an ink it's for a lecture ink canister or whatever you like to call it would you use a feather with that maybe this uh was to sign the declaration of independence who knows so yeah lots of smalls here got some golf balls probably my favorite thing actually i got baskets on top of baskets some patches some pennants as well older phillies pennant i really don't do too well with pennants i don't know i guess it's just like it was kind of a collector's thing that might have been very affordable at one time the good pennants are the really old ones like ones not from the 70s and 80s not ones from random towns but the ones from like the 30s and the 40s those do very well mattel oh this is a play holster um but yeah i love these little advertisement pieces so we have here beers modular and mobile home sales will be haydn one from redding pennsylvania but you'll notice on these they say cat two dollars so cat was probably the consignor or booth that the person who was consigned this stuff had and uh they just took it off the shelf and was like you know i'm bringing to tailgate auction this also has cat on it so kind of cool uh but yeah i'll throw this in the warehouse i don't know if i'll be at the flea market this week uh but maybe the following week we'll see but yeah hopefully you guys enjoyed this video i was awesome to go out there still do some treasure hunting and definitely buy a bunch of stuff i really didn't need it for a flea market season but yeah i should probably be heading up there shortly and i think uh if it doesn't rain which it looks like it's about to just absolutely pour uh should be
