Building in The Sims But Every Room is a Different Townie

there's this trend that's kind of going around and has been like all year in the sims community where you like build a house but each room is a different blank and i made a video a while ago where i built a house except each room was a different townie like each room was inspired by a different character in the sims series i did mostly base game ones it was like bob and eliza pancakes and the land grabs but today we're gonna do it again and i have filled my board with a bunch of pack characters some of my favorite townies from the other worlds and we're gonna give it a go it ends up being really dumb like in the last one the room that was inspired by eliza pancakes i made beach themed because she wears flip-flops um so you kind of go off the rails eventually when you're doing this but here is the wheel that i made i need to explain myself so here's my list i'm on wheelofnames.com i put rosie rosie is brenton brant hecking's dog she's a french bulldog she gets first place for best character the rest of these are in no particular order then katarina links who's the cat lady from brendelton bay we got judith ward of course mega famous celebrity we have orange bailey moon who is the kid of two mega famous celebrities in del sol valley of course penny pizzazz a wannabe mega famous celebrity jeb harris is the guy with the bag on his head from eco lifestyle ted roswell is the yee-haw guy from strangerville he's like the mayor like the big the big man elphaba is the spellcaster with the pink hair from realm of magic saleem is also from city living he's the one who lives in that like smaller dirtier dingy apartment and makoa is the dad from a family in island living i picked him because my dog's name is mako um and i like his name and then makoa is the dad from a family in island living i will show you all these sims if we spin them don't worry but i basically picked my favorite townies from each expansion pack world so that is my plan and we'll eventually just spin and and pick them is this offering me wait i'm sorry is this an ad for a condo building for people that are age 55 and up i don't know if i fit into that category okay well i guess we'll build shall we spin first for the exterior of the house cause then we'll know like what style to pick what world to build and that's a good idea okay let's spin i'm not even nervous i like all these people i hope i get rosie oh no oh i actually don't agree with this i i fundamentally disagree with getting ted roswell as the first option does that mean i have to build in strangerville oh okay whatever fine this is where ted roswell lives he's this guy very proper also evil paranoid and hot-headed but he wants to be rich um which is good i called him the yeehaw man from strangerville does that mean that i should build a yeehaw house i think so when i google search yeehaw house it comes up with some like yeehaw miley cyrus has bought a stunning tennessee farm we could build like one of these fancy mcmansion types from texas and we can also just build something kind of strangerville inspired like one of these sort of victorian types you know he's also evil so what if it was red because he's evil and hot-headed that we can work with okay that's something i can do i've built so many like victorian type homes recently it's like all i've been building the past couple weeks i don't think we want this house to be like massive i mean we don't want it to be small but okay i will make this work it looks weird but i promise i know exactly what i'm doing the last time i did this i made it way too big i think so i guess this man feels like a very traditional type to me yeah that's weird enough that works okay you know what's kind of sad is that this is like actually probably gonna look really good on the outside and no one will ever know because the inside's gonna be a mess looks good if you ask me i'm pretty impressed i don't know how to fix the back like i don't know what the back should look like but oh wait i've got an idea what if the back looks like that oh the red accents absolutely disgusting but then there's like a balcony you know yeah that feels fitting to me i think that's pretty good for what it is oh i feel i should warn you we're probably gonna end up using a lot of packs in this one i think i have a townie from like every expansion pack or almost every expansion pack so it's fine no one's gonna want to download this build that is not something that we have to be concerned with nothing is the right shade of cream that is upsetting like i don't want to have a red roof oh maybe i do want a red roof trim oh it's horrible in like all the best ways oh it's horrible oh my god i love it i love it i am just so happy right now words cannot even begin to express to you how happy i feel about this i mean when else do you get to use this stuff i might need to redo some of the windows on the sides when i furnish the house i'm gonna just throw some lights down let's do the floor plan quickly and then we can finish the windows because i don't know where to put windows on the sides before i've done the floor plans so it'll be good to just get that over with oh i love it oh i'm so happy absolutely gorgeous i honestly like it i know i'm like half kidding about this but i really do like it we might have to change the color of the staircase depending on like how we furnish everything so this is weird i don't know how to furnish it this would make for a good living room maybe this could be an office and then or like a formal dining room and this could be like a kitchen and informal dining room all of these doors are front doors like they've got mail slots they're not designed to be put in backyards but like imagine you know there's a don't really know where the kitchen would go but we'll figure it this can be like a kitchen and dining space i guess we could do the kitchen in this room and then there could be like a small this is just filler furniture but imagine like just a small breakfast nook that is through here and then the counters can go like you know well i don't know it's gonna be small this is weird i don't think this floor plan is good maybe i should do it again all right i feel like this one makes more sense don't worry the colors and stairs are gonna change but living space in here kitchen breakfast nook bathroom dining room slash office we'll kind of figure it out something upstairs i don't know okay three bedrooms and then a big bathroom this is fine it makes sense this house is weird i don't like it this yeehaw man is really testing my patience i'm gonna be honest that's not bad okay i think i finished the window placement again the yee haw man is really testing me here what color is see their house is not the same as this one mr ted roswell lives in like a big manor that's like all black and white and i went and made this i'm not a huge fan of the back but it's okay i like the front i am about to spend way too long landscaping this i'm gonna put way too much effort into this they really don't have that much landscaping on their lot not that it matters like it doesn't matter or affect us how much landscaping they have versus us but it's definitely something to take into consideration when we're building a house inspired by somebody okay here's how i've landscaped it i'm kind of taking inspiration from the ones that are in the world like i saw this yellow bush in front of our house and i was like yeah we'll use that that'll be the vibe we're going for okay i don't often build in strangerville so i feel kind of out of my element right now i guess that's the point of this challenge that's not true the point of the challenge is not to get you out of your comfort zone it's to make a dumb house this is gonna look really cool on the outside and then the inside's just gonna be a mess i mean i'm gonna build a room inspired by a dog okay i think the outside is good to go let's spin for the first room shall we this will be the living room i'm guessing i don't i'm kind of nervous rosie wrote oh my oh no okay so rosie is the dog does that mean that this living room should be what a dog would want am i ready to go off the rails yet i think we are i've done too much serious building today so this is brent and brandt they're married this is their dog rosie she's a french bulldog she's the best townie in the sims 4. um and for that reason she deserves a beautiful room i'm gonna put grass there's gonna be a grass floor yeah we're going off the rails oh do you see what i mean isn't that perfect oh we could do like this one with the flowers rosie can run through the flowers although i don't really know if i want the flowers i can't decide that one's nice i like that okay so rosie's going to want what if we oh my god am i gonna do this do we have like a sky the sunset oh wow and then see the stairs they lead you up into the sky oh wow that is just absolutely beautiful i think i didn't put doors we should put a door into the bathroom see here's the thing i might make these archways all white instead i feel like it's it's a little bit easier if we do it that way i know like the doors and windows in the front of the house are red but at least the ones in between will be white it's sort of neutral because if we put like a green archway or whatever it'll be green on the other side too and like we don't know if we want that rosie needs a dog bed i'm kind of thinking a big one at the very least we could try to match it to the windows she'll of course want some food and some toys i wish these things weren't so large why are they so big what if she just had a tunnel or oh the dog bed could be here oh in that beautiful sunny spot oh my god she would love that wait what if we had okay what if we had both a dog bed and this cozy thing i'm thinking a no cat's a loud sign what if as an ode to rosie we put a rosy mailbox outside why does rosie get everything no i'm gonna do it i'm putting these two dog stuffed animals here rosie's food bowl can go in the corner by the kitchen this makes the most sense i really like it in here i'm having a lot of fun so here's the thing i put like this fish tank but it's probably not worth it in my mind i was like oh we could put a fish tank because then like rosie could watch them that's stupid i'm just not sure what else rosie would want oh that is really cute and we'll stick the toy box there next to it okay this is actually coming along very nicely i'm very excited about this room i can't believe this is how i spend my days we should like stick some toys around just on the floor places hear me out i'm thinking we could use these my first pet stuff chairs one because rosie could sit on them but also rosie's humans could sit on them and hang out with her why are they so small can rosie's humans even sit on them they're like toddler size that's okay yeah i think that's done next this will be the kitchen oh this is perfect orange bailey moon is the kitchen so orange is the son of that celebrity couple in del sol valley they live over here octavia moon and thorn bailey's kid orange who is a nice kid i don't think that his outfits are really anything that stand out i don't think he's got like a standout style really like you know with certain sims like nancy landgrab you look at her and you're like i need to incorporate this sparkly skirt into the build i don't think that orange has anything like that but his name is orange and i think for that reason we should take it and run with it oh boy you know like that's not that bad we cannot use this tile with them i that i know for for sure but we can do a different tile this is fine isn't there like a dine out painting that literally has an orange on it oh my god there's orange slices i mean you can't make this up people like this is perfect he's also a celebrity because his parents are famous and rich so we should probably take that into account i don't really know how cool kitchen cool kid i mean he is a star so i feel like we should try to use some get famous stuff in here just because like it's his pack you know this is disgusting we don't even have matching upper cabinets like what it what are you supposed to do in these spaces who lets me do stuff like this and why it's a little tight in here maybe it'd be best if there was just two chairs at the dining table i don't think we'll have a formal dining room i feel like once we spin to do this room it depends on what the sim is and we can kind of do it because it could be an office it could be a dining room it could be an art studio like i think it really depends on who we're gonna put in that room at least the house is functional like there's space to eat oh this citrus thing is perfect there's oranges on it i'm trying to like scroll through the get famous catalog and find stuff that would work in here i mean it's a child this is one of those times where this decision that i make about this thing will change the course of the entire build because this room isn't that bad like it's definitely bright but it isn't that bad the second i put this thing in there all bets are off and i can't have cabinets so might as well have that i guess he is a child maybe we could put some toys in here why do i feel like this kid is like too cool to play with blurfy do you know what it's like how the kardashians kids have those like giant fancy playhouses have you seen i forget where i saw that but there was like a video or like a tv show that i watched or something or maybe it was an instagram account and they had bought and built these like custom playhouses for their kids but like playhouse is an understatement it's like a tiny house but like designed for a kid to play oh i would have loved that when i was younger i am i am jealous of the kardashians children they really do have it all honestly orange that is that is great let's do the bathroom i want to apologize in advance to whatever sim gets the bathroom you don't deserve this i'm sorry oh penny oh penny i'm sorry penny how do you make a penny pizzazz inspired bathroom if you don't know penny she's this sim in del sol valley she wears a lot of bright and bold patterns loves a good ponytail also romantic outgoing and ambitious interesting i think we should take that bright and bold patterns theme and run with that i also get like hot pink vibes from penny anybody else i don't know why her house isn't that bold just her clothes but for some reason i i feel very very inclined to make that the flooring she doesn't deserve that penny i'm sorry oh okay wait no let's make it classy it can be bright it can be bold but it can still look good maybe you know what what if it's like really chic and modern this is a completely different direction but what if we went like oh you know what honestly like this kind of thing chic and modern do you see what i mean and like marble tile on the floor oh yeah that is definitely what she would have like an expensive shower you know isn't she a social media star isn't that her job you know those social media people in their um expensive bathrooms where do i sign up for mine smear do i put in here i feel like it needs to be like a really pretty mirror you know what i don't think you would look at this bathroom and think that it belonged to penny pizzazz i think i've made a mistake we can hang her up a bathrobe anything from city living that we could add that would like make sense the bathroom's really small is the problem there isn't like a ton of space to penny pizzazz in here we could do a fancy light fixture that's cool and it's like a cityscape that works and it kind of matches the color scheme does this plant slot onto the shelf oh it does okay wait that's actually really nice again i don't think it like screams penny pizzazz but it's a nice bathroom let's do this one the flex room what are you gonna be oh no oh no elphaba okay that's this woman she's the magic lady you might recognize her from realm of magic spellcaster pink okay so this room will be inspired by spell casters in pink i was hoping to have an office i guess it is an office i should have put like vlad or somebody on here i didn't do that she does have some realm of magic flooring we can use ew oh okay wow okay we'll need a cauldron this room is too small for all this giant furniture we just really don't have space for this stuff i do very much like the idea of like really cluttering it up though you know what i wish we had is these candles but separated like i want those candles but as an individual one just a simple little candle because then you can kind of layer them up how you want kind of like how we have this little bitty candle or this one from dine out yeah i actually quite like that we should put a different ceiling light i forgot how big it was maybe not that one maybe not that one wow yikes i think that that one passes is like elphaba's room i think you know i think you can tell upstairs who gets the hallway oh lucky winner saleem i feel bad for these city living people they got the bathroom in the hallway okay this is celine so he lives in this kind of like cheaper needs tlc kind of dingy apartment i think we should be inspired by that like we'll put cracks in the walls we'll use dirty carpet oh my god ted roswell would throw a fit he seems like so prim and proper to me he would be so embarrassed by a hallway that's dirty like that oh just imagine if ted roswell had to have this in his house well he does oh we could use the red it's like christmas in here oh we don't have any doors into the bedrooms yet let's add those ew the brown carpet is gross oh no but like vampires has all of these decorations like this that we could add we can like crack the window i don't know why it's this gross put some like mold underneath look the the window and door have been leaking so there's like mold nearby them maybe there's some scary scratches on the door that was rosy rosie scratched the door don't worry it's nothing scary that's really gross in here to be honest something i like to do a lot when i'm trying to make these like dirtier looking spaces sometimes i'll hang up like a painting i don't know what saleem likes video games so maybe like honestly these things could be fitting but you like hang up something and you kind of put it on top of the broken pieces so it looks like someone tried to hide the broken bits of the wall with like a painting same thing over here they're just trying to hide this like whole broken bit these white doors look way too fancy in here maybe if they were they could do brown instead they'd still match things on the inside of the rooms oh maybe if there was only wall lights and it was like kind of dark in here it's like actually kind of scary in this hallway i don't like it very much this is not inspired by saleem at all his house looks way better than this he might have like dirty carpet but it doesn't look creepy like this i'm sorry silly i am i'm really sorry why do i feel like his carpet is pink too yeah this i i took something and ran with it and it wasn't it's not that good but you know what i like the juxtaposition of this hallway with rosie's grass floor that's why it's so dirty the carpet because you walk through the grass to come upstairs so you traipse the dirt everywhere ew oh do we have like spilled food oh there's muddy paw prints what if we use these instead like muddy paw prints just to go out to the patio i like that actually that's kind of funny and maybe if there was like some newspaper on the floor or something oh just mess we could have a little mat in front of the door we could get something more bright and cheery oh that's funny okay how about a lamp in the corner over here we could use some more light honestly quite a few sims from quite a few places live here it must be very hard to organize them all they could have a cork board just so you know everybody is and what everybody's up to you know this is so dumb okay why do i want to do the bathroom next oh we have the perfect number of people left that wasn't on purpose it just worked out jeb okay uh this is jeb the kid with the bag on his head from eco lifestyle also has the gloomy trait now the question is what sort of bathroom is gloomy what does that mean my head just goes to blue i'm like is that gloomy is that a gloomy bathroom oh no this one oh you know what when you look at it it makes you sad and that's what makes it good yeah that's yeah i quite like that and maybe we can make it kind of messy because he's a teen i don't know it might i'm like teenagers make messes right like we can just put some mess down and we can try to use some eco lifestyle stuff i guess this you're not gonna look at this and think it belongs to jeb what am i doing nobody's gonna be like oh this bathroom yeah that looks like jeb this is horrible i need to put like curtains up to hide the red window because it's not a good look um i don't know which ones to use what if we didn't put a mirror because jeb wears the bag over his head is that good is that does that make sense what if instead of a mirror you know that picture of jerry in the base game jerry oh we'll just hang that up instead of a mirror yeah that makes sense i wanted to put like dead flowers in here oh yeah there we go perfect i don't really know what i'm doing anymore nothing that i'm doing makes sense oh i need a toilet right i'm gonna put some clothes on the floor because he's a teenager i figure like the room would be kind of messy maybe we could have like some posters on the wall if it's jeb's private bathroom maybe maybe he hung up some posters no that's weird i don't know what do teenagers have let me look at eco lifestyle again ah of course oh maybe we could use the eco lifestyle rug as like a bath mat in front of the bathtub there you go this room obviously belongs to jeb don't you see that eco lifestyle rug we'll do curtains from eco lifestyle too there you go and a light this is it doesn't make any sense okay let's do the big bedroom then all right let's do the big bedroom come on katarina links okay katarina lynx is the cat lady you know who i'm talking about four cats wears pretty colorful clothing too well we have a dog room already what is this becoming let's put a no dogs allowed sign i get like pink carpet vibes from katarina i don't know what it is i mean not in a good way oh maybe like or we oh or we could use this wallpaper from the pack but i don't like it that much no yeah let's use this one pink obviously cat tree in front of the window this room is for the cats not for katarina she has four cats what if we had like four food bowls four automatic food bowls i don't even know if your sims can walk through that doesn't matter it doesn't matter if your sims can walk through it because your sims are never going to play in this house there is literally no way that a single one of you is ever going to actually play in this house so it doesn't matter if it's playable i think she has four cats and like one of them's a kitten or something but maybe we can make two of them kittens in our little in our little weird family of cat things they look so scary just hanging out there sky cat mirror jazz cats i want to be done with this now all right last two rooms who gets the good one with the special windows who's it going to be mccoy gets it see i think that's really funny because i feel like judith would throw a fit and then she gets the objectively worst bedroom this is makoa successful lineage aspiration active trail of the ocean and ambitious what if we made like a home gym in there this is a really nice room it gets a lot of good light like what a nice spot to work out i made the floor blue because he wears that blue shirt i don't know what color to make the walls what about that's ugly why is everything i build so ugly it's because i've been doing this dumb challenge for so long that i i can't bring myself to even function anymore that's why this challenge is not worth the amount of time that i've spent on it there we go we have some like fitness posters i don't know yeah and then judith ward judith is this one up in del sol valley she's very wealthy she's also mean and a snob and very famous so i think you know what her room has to look like she doesn't get any other furniture i can't even i don't even have space for her to have a closet i guess we could let's um we don't need to have her bed be centered we just know she would prioritize having a closet i mean she has a lot of clothes the woman needs a closet it's like a throne why does she have a throne big mirror oh that's perfect wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait what if she had a tv at the foot of her bed you can't really see it okay let's put the tv on the wall but what if she had a tv across from her bed so that she could watch herself in movies yes i suppose that will do and that's the house i am i'm not even sure i should post this on the gallery i don't want to look at it anymore is that okay i'm gonna yeah let's not look at that anymore i will link my past attempt at this dumb challenge down below should i do it again let me know we have a lot of townies it's just it's just not good is the only problem yeah i'm gonna go make lunch i'll see you guys tomorrow i hate it here who gives me this kind of power why am i allowed to do this kind of thing you
