Building a Dropshipping Store Live with GrooveKart - Step by Step - Start to Finish (Part 1)

what's up everybody testing testing give me a few minutes to get set up here i want to make sure everything's working right i'm just trying to test out my new streaming setup and set up hopefully set up a drop ship in store live for you guys here today so you can see how it's done this will be my first time doing this particular thing with this software so it's not necessarily going to be an expedited step-by-step tutorial i'm just going to kind of play around with the software and show you guys what's possible so just bear with me for a minute while i make sure everything is set up and working you guys might experience a lag between what you see on the video and what you hear because i had to set this up kind of weird using a zoom call and some other stuff but it looks okay so far so i'm just gonna go ahead and share this on facebook and uh you guys can hang out and see what this software can do um anyway so if you guys are unfamiliar with drop shipping it's quite literally just finding a product online and selling it for more money so essentially you're going to share that link with other people and when they purchase that product you can either have it automated so the computer does all the work for you or you might have to do a little work which is uh go place that order for them and then the product ships right from the manufacturer or distributor whoever selling it to the customer and you keep the money so um i just signed up for the software group funnels recently which uh lets you build all kinds of websites and sales funnels and stuff like that but uh they have some pretty cool tools for drop shipping built in which is going to let you sync your store with aliexpress and that's what i want to show you guys here today so um i'm just going to give it a few more minutes and see if people jump on and feel free to comment if you have any questions it'll help me out a lot if you share this so that other people can see it because obviously if i'm live streaming i can't be sharing and promoting the video but uh maybe you're watching this after it uploaded and as a replay but uh either way so um let's just jump right into it the first thing i like to do when i'm starting a new website especially online store is grab a domain name so um basically everything i'm going to show you today you could do for free using your free trial of group funnels so the only thing you would need to pay for if you wanted to is a custom domain and you can get those over at namecheap which is this website here and you know the prices vary depending on what domain name you want but i've seen them for as low as three or four dollars so let's just have a look um the store i'm going to be setting up here today is going to be for uh kind of home studio equipment since i'm trying to get into live streaming and you know digital marketing and stuff like that i myself need stuff to turn my house into a little home studio like i'm sure many of you guys working from home do so if you're wondering how i'm inside my computer right now i have a green tablecloth taped to the wall behind me as a green screen it costs one dollar from the dollar store i'm gonna have a couple uh little twenty dollar lights here on my desk to uh make it even so i show up and all that but anyways so here at namecheap you're going to want to search for whatever domain name you want so say i want to do digital media so i'll type in digital media and then you know obviously stuff like digitalmedia.com is probably going to be taken but what you could do with namecheap that's pretty cool is uh you know they give you all these alternate extensions like digitalmedia.store but that one's five thousand dollars and that's not what i'm about i'm trying to do this as low budget as possible so another thing that's cool here is explore 400 additional extensions so in addition to dot com you can look at all these other ones and they haven't grouped by categories here so shopping and sales i want to start a store let's look at this one you know when you get digital media auction for 27 bucks digital media bargains bid boutique cash you guys get the idea so anyways i already went ahead and purchased one of these it's really simple i just went ahead and did this ahead of time so you guys don't get to see my credit card information all that but i picked up digital media dot supplies and it was four dollars here it is inside my name cheap account but uh if you're following along and want to do this on your own it looks like there's still plenty of other ones available with the holidays coming up you can snag digitalmedia.gifts um you know and this will work for whatever uh your niche is so if you're a plumber say in chicago you could do chicago [Music] plumber.com and see if that's available and it is but it's three grand so maybe you don't want to spend three grand you can come down here to uh services and see if they have plumbing uh chicago plumber dot equipment um you know you guys get the idea so anyways i picked up uh digitalmedia.supplies and that's the website we're gonna be building out today excuse me still trying to get my coffee in me so anyways let's hop over here to groove cart and just get started so this is what your dashboard is going to look like once you get groove cart set up and if you don't know what i'm talking about you can go check out groove4life.com and the info on the main page there is still going to tell you about a discount they were running that ended september 1st so if you want to upgrade to platinum it's going to be a little more expensive still an awesome deal but that's kind of irrelevant you could just follow the link there to sign up for an account and you can get a free account and build three websites for free and group funnels but also with group funnels what you get is access to groov cart which is what this is which is a platform for uh selling physical products and you can sell your own products or you can sell other people's products which is what we're going to do here today with drop shipping so i will just go ahead and click on the products tab and you guys can see i'll click on my products internet's been a little slow but uh as you can see here i just imported one product to uh see how it works so that i wouldn't hold this video up all day trying to figure it out but you guys can see i have one product here and so i'll just go ahead and delete this because we're not going to need that anymore and i'll go ahead and show you how to import products but i guess before we go import products i'll just show you guys around a little more inside the group cart dashboard here right below products is orders and obviously i have none because i haven't set up my store yet but this is where you would see you know obviously the orders that come into your store abandoned carts so you'll be able to see if people come to your store and didn't buy anything now you this will require a little bit of setup but basically what you could do is link this with an email autoresponder so somebody comes and they abandon their cart midway through you know they say they put three or four year items in their cart and then uh they go to work and they don't ever buy it or whatever you can have this automatically follow up with them which is pretty cool that the average person like you and i uh i don't know about you but i'm no e-commerce expert i just like playing with this software and i figure this out and it's pretty cool um so that's why i'm showing it to you guys and i just want to practice live streaming um in case you're wondering why uh someone would want to practice live streaming if you look at uh some of the biggest influencers online these days you know people selling products people being spokes people for companies people really getting their name out there if you look at the channels that are growing the fastest they're all doing lives so highly recommend you guys start doing lives and uh hopefully in setting up the store you guys are going to see some of the equipment that can help you do that relatively affordably and easily and all that so anyways uh you know there's another tab here for customers um and uh surprise surprise just me because i was testing this out a little bit i really have not done much with this software at all other than log in to make sure i would be able to use it for a demo for you guys so moving on settings and we'll get to all these settings as we go along and set up the site i just kind of want to give you guys an overview before we get uh too carried away so there's another tab for apps and the internet is being slow or maybe i just didn't click on it and by the way this software still is in beta so there are little bugs um here and there like i'm not sure if this is a bug or just slow internet connection my girlfriend is in the other room teaching or in meetings for she's a pre-k teacher anyway so she is in the other room also using the internet so that might have something to do with it but anyways let's move on to the builder here so this is uh your store that's going to be automatically built for you when you log into groov cart even if you don't have any products it's just kind of like a template i guess if you will a theme and you're going to be able to edit the layout really simply they have a handful of options here and you can see how it changes this area up here i don't know what else that changes right off the bat but anyways you got different tools over here you got blocks so what blocks are if you're unfamiliar to web design are just uh basically little parts of a website so you could just drag and drop these in here so you know you can put a new spot right here and type in whatever you want if you don't like it you just click delete it so that's how the builder works and uh you know elements if you don't want to use a whole block you could just use individual elements like say drag a title there or delete it super simple stuff anybody who's used facebook or social media or anything like that it's going to be able to figure this out so that's the builder we don't need this quite yet you might think that that's the first place you want to start but that's what's so cool about this software is i'm going to show you is it's all kind of automated and saves a lot of time so here on the pages tab this is going to be the different pages of your site and i did go ahead and delete a few of them before i uh started doing this thing just to save time so um you know those are the pages anyways um so let's get to products and for that you're going to come back to the groove cart admin panel and over here click the products tab my products you might actually have to go to this drop shipping tab down here but uh we'll get back to that so actually yeah um you want to click on this pod and drop shipping and what pod is is print on demand that's another cool thing you could do with a groove cart is print on demand if you want to sell t-shirts or shoes or coffee mugs or you know whatever with your own custom label you're going to be able to do that right here inside of groove cart and the way you do that is they have these different apps that you can connect so layer app is one that i know you can use to do print on demand stuff but what we're going to use here today is groov cart alley connect and for anybody who's unfamiliar aliexpress is pretty much like the amazon of uh chinese products coming excuse me to america and throughout the world so a lot of people getting started with drop shipping start with aliexpress there are pros and cons i don't want to dive too deep into that in this video um but basically when you use aliexpress you got to be really careful uh to vet you the the vendors that you're working with because some of the products are coming from china you don't know how long it's going to take to ship i've heard of them taking literally two or three months for some products and you're not going to want to be selling products to people and making them wait two or three months so read reviews you know use it at your own risk but there are better options which you can get into i know dropified i've never used it but i've heard a lot of people recommend dropified and this one's going to be totally automated but just for simplicity's sake we're going to be using groovecart aliconnect so you click on this learn more button and here it basically tells you it just syncs it to uh syncs groov cart to aliexpress which is where you're gonna be finding these products and i'll show you guys that in just a minute so i already have it turned on here you can click the settings i don't know i don't want to show you my password and all that so i'll let you do that on your own but pretty simple stuff so you're going to set up this app and basically what that's going to have you do is download this chrome extension which is aliexpress to groove car importer and this is where it gets cool so pay attention um and share this with your friends if you find it helpful because you know who doesn't want uh strangers from the internet sending them money so that's the whole point of this i hope you guys get a kick out of it anyways so here we are ali express this website you can order just about anything you see all these different categories over here and each one you hover over brings up a million other things i mean you can get anything from clothes to uh you know sports equipment car and motorcycle parts home improvement tools you know you can literally order anything on this website so anyways i said uh my store is digitalmedia.supplies so that's what we're looking for supplies that someone might want if they were gonna start their own uh creating their own digital media you know it's a content creator someone posted on youtube someone uh streaming to twitch or you know a gamer or whatever so anyways let's start with uh i just bought these lights that i'm using to illuminate my face and actually i could probably go for turning them up a little bit but anyways so they were called newer i think with two w's so i'll just type that newer lights and this is the ones i got right here so here they are on aliexpress so what you're going to want to do and by the way where is it there's a way you can sort this here you go ships from you want to click ships from united states because i've ordered a lot of stuff from aliexpress and uh some of the stuff going from china takes a really long time as it is and now with this whole pandemic thing going on worldwide uh shipping has been all screwed up from china and another tip uh to watch out for just because you selected ships from united states you still want to check the reviews because a lot of these these guys um you know they want to make as many sales as possible so if clicking a little button that says they have a warehouse in the us means they get more sales even if they really don't have warehouse in the us sometimes they do that so you want to make sure your products are actually coming from the us but that's a little bit beyond the scope of this i just want to kind of keep this brief and show you guys how to get set up and do this for yourself so anyways let's click on this i guess we'll need all these tabs but uh there we go here's the product so we're going to want to click ships from united states and that'll show you the price 52 bucks is what you're going to pay to ship this out to a customer but what's cool is up here add product to groove cart this little green button up here i'm just going to click that and uh it's going to give me a few options here so you can rename the product so let's say i want to name this uh home studio lights twin pack um so and here's the price and you can alter that here if you want i'm going to leave it the same because i'm going to show you guys something cool uh there's a setting in groove cart where you can adjust the price of all of your products as a percentage so that's what i'm going to do and where it says click to remove this value i'm going to click to remove all these countries that are not the united states because my store is going to be targeting people in the us and that's where i want the product shipping from so i only want these available in my store that shipped from the us so go ahead and click submit and we've got a little timer going on up here and there you go so product saved um so we don't just want one product in the store we want a few more so what else might someone want well i just picked up this new desktop microphone so hopefully you guys can hear me clearly so it's called toner let's see if this is available on here i'm not seeing the exact one but it's pretty similar to this thing right here so let's just get a little more specific and search for usb condenser microphone because that's what it is so we've got some different options here and i actually saw some pretty good reviews on this guy on amazon or at least one that looked extremely similar to it so it seems to have some good reviews here while 8 592 reviews twenty two thousand twenty two thousand orders yeah that's uh probably going to be a winner uh this is exactly the type of product you wanna find with those kind of reviews uh odds are this person is not screwing around and they are selling a decent product so let's go ahead and add product to group cart it looks like this one doesn't ship from the us so we'll go ahead and cancel and try and find one that does so here like i said in sort you want to click that and there we go so now you can see uh the options that are available so we have this one uh only 17 sold but five star reviews and it's the same brand as these lights which i'm using which i'm satisfied with i've only had them for two days but they seem okay i mean it's led light that plugs in on an led cord it's not that complicated so anyways let's add this bad boy to groove card and uh remove all the countries that are not the united states no offense but we're selling to the us so here we go and it's pretty cool to import the other colors too so if you guys have used shopify or these other ones uh you know they have tools that will import the products for you similar to this but um i think you guys will see as we go along this is way different i've used shopify i've used click funnels uh i've used wix um i've tried all kinds of different platforms to sell stuff online and you know i've had to pay for all of them along the way which has not been a cheap learning experience so that's why i'm making this video trying to save you guys the trouble and the headache of that and uh like i said you can get started with groovecart completely free so i don't know why you wouldn't want to start experimenting now because if your experience is anything like mine you might be doing this for two or three years before you start making significant uh income from the internet but it is possible tons of people are doing it i'm determined to figure it out i want to save you guys the time and hassle that i've gone through so anyways submit to store that's product number two let's just keep this rolling along here and i might take a break to eat lunch in a half an hour an hour but uh i do want to get this done today up and running so you guys can see it is possible to do this in one day it's not that hard um so let's see what else might you want for a home studio how about a green screen with the stand uh i just use painters tape and a dollar store uh tablecloth and that's what i recommend you do if you're watching this because it's gonna be way cheaper than buying this from aliexpress or marked up from my store but uh it is what it is i hope you guys get value out of uh seeing how to do this for yourself so let's uh go ahead and click ships from the us again so that we'd save ourselves a little bit of time this one has 404 sold that looks pretty good um i like this image better that's a crazy price variance so let's go with this one because it looks like a whole pack you get clips and stands and all that so great one from the us is not available that's kind of the way it goes on aliexpress sometimes it is what it is you just keep looking this one has 75 sold not from not available from the us right now so this is the kind of thing that uh you might encounter might take you a little bit extra time but it's worth sorting out to make sure that you get quality products to your customers because it's your reputation you know you don't want to be scamming people and taking their money for products that are never going to get to them you want to actually provide a service and you know you might think what kind of service is that providing uh providing someone with products marked up at a crazy price but you know what the people who are going to buy from your store and my store are not the type of people who are watching youtube videos that are an hour or two hours long on uh how to do something like this they're the type of people that make impulse purchases and buy right away so as far as i'm concerned i did them the service of presenting them the product right where they can see it they don't have to go search for it and if that means they're going to pay me double uh you know you know do a google search buy from amazon um anyways so let's keep rolling here remove all these other countries for our green screen so it's just from the us looks good to me and let's see if we can't get a few more products in here maybe some usb desktop speakers ships from us nothing's jumping out at me so far but i do want to keep this moving so uh let's try these they're three bucks 30 seconds old i hope these come from the us sweet they do so let's add these little guys to our store that is done and what about some headphones oh god these uh watch out with these uh airpod look-alikes i made quite a bit of money last holiday season selling these online but also uh it was quite the hassle dealing with the different platforms and getting kicked off of the platforms even if you clearly label them as clones or lookalikes or whatever people aren't happy about it so it's a good way to get your profiles blocked but if you sell them in person people love these imitation chinese products so do what you will with that information but anyways that's not what i'm looking for let's uh look for over ear headphones but yeah lots of fun to be had with the products on aliexpress and these look pretty cool different i should say uh let's go with these weird ones why not oh i forgot to click the us button again um so here we go ships from the united states 61 sold this actually looks exactly like these ones that i have here except with a different uh brand on it and that's how the express works you can as you get more advanced with this stuff you can reach out to these merchants and get these products branded with your own brand name on it but that's a bit outside of the scope of this demo russian federation no u.s okay so hopefully we can get one that comes from the us here with this whole pandemic going on i know a lot of these products especially international ones are getting kind of delayed and screwy so this one looks like it comes from the us so we'll add the groove card store and remove china cool so that's probably enough to get us started and uh so we're gonna do next is uh pop back over here to groove cart and go to i believe my products you got to bear with me because i just tried this last night i was super sleepy i imported one product and i know it says add your first product here but somewhere there is a tab to pop up all the products that we imported with aliexpress and i don't think it's this button so that's what i mean when i said at the beginning bear with me this might not be the most straightforward tutorial because i'm just kind of playing with the software but uh i know that i'll be able to have this up and running by the end of the day it'll probably only take a few hours so i appreciate you hanging out if you find this stuff cool uh feel free to share it or like comment subscribe all that good stuff i don't know i'm internet's been so slow right now so this is the different apps that i was telling you about earlier in the video that you can use you can attach a facebook messenger chat to your store google analytics product reviews and all this stuff but uh still not helping me with this product import thing i'm looking for don't remember what tab it's under but we will find it maybe i have to go to settings in this uh groove cart alley connect thing oh don't look at that all right so here's what i'm talking about down here product price settings you can increase i have my prices increased by 300 percent so just for the sake of this demonstration uh you know probably need to adjust that everywhere but uh also you can have this button clicked here to disable products automatically when an aliexpress seller is out of stock so that's cool and it also sends a message to aliexpress telling them this is a drop shipped order so please don't include an invoice so basically your customer doesn't see that you pay three dollars for an uh item that you're charging them twelve dollars for or whatever it is so um i don't know why i'm having uh trouble finding where to import the products but uh if it takes too much longer i will just stop the video figured out and pick up where i left off but if i was able to figure out last night when i was extremely sleepy i should be able to figure it out now yeah i want to add a product but not my own i remember this was a bit frustrating uh last night as well and like i said this isn't beta and they're actually uh updating this i think later this week so it will probably be easier to find than don't think it's under builder maybe okay so here that's what we had to do we had to go into the builder so here inside the builder there's categories list and product list and maybe that's not what we had to do i thought it was in here nope that's just going to let you drag it into the builder okay so we still have not figured this out but i think we need to exit the builder man you would think it would just be in products there we go that's why i didn't see that little tab up there so sorry to keep you guys waiting so long for that uh i'll try and go back and cut that out of the video to save time later um but anyways so you can see here are your products these are the ones i just selected the studio lights the microphone so you're just going to click this button add to my store and it'll take a second to import there or maybe more than a few seconds if you're sharing your internet connection with somebody else who is also doing uh bandwidth heavy activities so that one's completed that's kind of weird how all the other buttons disappeared now there we go just being slow so we'll go click this one by one and even though this is taking a handful of seconds for each one it's a hell of a lot faster than what you had to do before uh five years ago when i first started getting into this stuff you would have to go download every single image from the website you're sourcing it from from aliexpress copy and paste the descriptions go re-upload them set the prices set all that you're not going to do any of that with this by clicking this button and wait in a few seconds all of that information is going to be imported and it's going to be super easy for you to edit and my dog just woke up from a nap and decided he is super thirsty so pardon the lapping in the background if you guys can hear that he's been snoozing all morning uh must have realized i was doing a video i wanted to get up and uh take the longest drink of his life damn dude take it easy fella still going but anyways that's the nature of uh live streaming from your home office your dog might get up and start causing a ruckus what's up buddy so just finishing up adding these products to my store and then i'll show you guys what that looks like in just a second here okay so all right products should be in the store now so we're going to want to jump over here to builder actually before we do that we should go to the products tab and see if they show up in there so products my products and here they are here's your products and action button over here preview edit duplicate delete so let's go ahead and preview that and uh this is the product page that it's already set up in my store this is what i'm talking about if you look up here i actually have i think i have the url hidden in this video but the url is empathy trading that's one of my urls that i'm going to use to build a store which i linked to this site just to make sure it worked i'm going to go through in this video and re-link digital digitalmedia.supplies as i explained but uh yeah so this is already live in my store and this is what it looks like and i don't like this black uh banner up here so we're gonna change the format and all that but that's pretty cool um so you can see now nine dollars and if you remember uh i've already closed the uh product and alexpress but that is the upgraded one and already even before we even go do any design or anything if i click go to ship in step boom add it to my cart right there and uh we haven't even set up a store yet this is all automated it all happened uh like that so anyways i could proceed to check out and i have it set up with paypal so it's gonna just automatically plug my paypal information and i could boom order this product from myself right now uh what are we um i don't know half an hour hour into this live stream and i can order products for myself already so that is uh pretty cool but anyways let's close that and carry on so my products are in the store there are the prices these home studio lights are quite expensive so i would modify that price i don't think i would feel comfortable charging 140 dollars for a couple usb lights i mean actually you know absolutely i would if people pay it but that might be a little steep so we'll adjust that later but let's hop over here to the builder and see what's going on so this is the site as it sits um they give you just some this is just uh this isn't that these shoes aren't actually one of my products this is just a photo they put in here as like a a placeholder for you to then go and put your own photos and stuff like that but uh let's just do first things first um let's try and change this background from this generic thing to one of our images so i have to figure out how to get to the image of this slider usually there's a little uh oh here we go so you click this little trash can to delete the image and then you can upload your own and i have just grabbed a few um off the internet here for us to use so we just pop that in there jpeg's not a supportive file extension uh are you sure okay so that's giving me an error let's try this one that one worked the other one must have just saved wrong so anyways check mark boom um you know we got to uh adjust the settings on that a little bit so that you could see it it's going to let us do that so anyways while we're in this menu we're going to want to change the title to digital media supplies subtitle and make it something like uh gear for content creators and you know obviously you'd spend a little more time on this and make it specific or whatever but for the sake of demonstration that's what it is shop now is cool fine with that and then here you could set whether you want it to open in a new window or the same window we go with the same window and then i don't know if you saw that but down here you could set this link to uh whatever you want but if you just leave it set it should just flow and work the way they have it set up so anyways i would like to be able to scale this picture a little more okay so it's gonna let me scale the size of the window there but uh yeah so anyways if i was gonna um you know spend a lot of time on this i would change this image so that the cameras were in the screen and you get uh more of an idea of what the story is about but uh just play with the settings here for a minute um but anyways so i don't want to get too hung up on the fine details let's just keep rolling so here deal of the day uh you know i think i'm just going to delete a lot of this because i'm going to keep this simple so we'll delete this menu here if you have reviews this is where you could put uh reviews but this is a brand new store i don't have any reviews so guess what we're just gonna delete that as well um delete this there you could put an email opt-in but uh like i said i just want to keep this really simple so we'll change this text um you might put something like top-rated product actually get it in there because that's uh this is a little different than the groove funnels funnel builder yeah that is weird i'm not sure why it's uh not letting me change this text it shows the cursor there we go i guess i just wasn't clicking on it right so you know you can change that to whatever you want and then change the color i'm just going to leave it i think it looks fine how it is so then with this again you can change the image so we will upload our own there you go some lights ideally you would use an image of one of your products but um like i said just trying to keep this quick and here you put a description and you get thing tools like a countdown timer and you can adjust this to however long you want to give them to get your deal let's go over here to pages and see what we got set up okay so that's what you have to do that's the site menu i was confused where all the pages went um you have to click this other tab store pages and then you'll see you get the home page you get your category page so i'm gonna have to go set up categories but with only five products uh honestly probably just gonna have one category it's kind of a niche site um save my progress on the home page um so here just basically gives you this is just generic but it's going to show you what your each product page is going to look like and again you click up here and change the layout and it's just going to let you edit each one of these pages so you know you've got your shopping cart here and then it's going to let you add pages if you want to add a page i'm not going to do that to keep it simple but as you can see titles keyword description um you know i think i'm just going to start from scratch and get rid of all this because i don't know how they have these uh deal of the day things linked up so let's just do it start from square one and get rid of all this looks like that's something different so there's just all right now i don't know what happened um i think this is one of those things about being in beta if you see how this is trying to load for so long i think i actually clicked delete one too many times or something but uh let's see if refreshing the page will help i really like to undo that last thing i did but whatever so here anyways like i'm saying there's a button down here where you can switch this you can toggle this on and off and this is the footer so you can see it's just got quick links and stuff and i don't need that in there for the sake of this demo so let's delete that delete all of this why this is taking so long almost done okay best deals get that out of here because what i want to do is add my own blocks to the home page okay there we go so now all we have is this landing page banner and that's looking pretty good so let's go to elements products and categories let's just put our product list right on the home page please select a product okay select products by category and then you can see as i click each one of these products how it's just populating this home page so that's pretty cool digital media supplies uh shop now here are some products and i would change all these descriptions like i did with the first one uh to home studio lights instead of you know because if somebody goes and searches this brand they're gonna find out that they can get your product for uh much cheaper than you're selling it and you don't want that so um obviously you know don't do anything shady don't call it something it's not but just uh make it a generic uh thing or whatever um so that's that we'll put that in and let's check out what other blocks they have and so up here you're gonna be able to check out how it's gonna look on different devices so obviously that looks really jacked up with these super long descriptions on mobile so that's something you're going to want to change but that's how i look on tablet tablet and landscape mode laptop and desktop computer so like i said we're going to need to change the length of those descriptions but we could do that in a little bit let's see what else we got media so you know if you want to put a video if you have a youtube video of your products just drag that here click on this and then you just put your youtube url right here in this little bar here and boom your video will show up on uh your page i haven't gone that far so we will delete that but uh let's just take a look at what else we've got content so you know you can put links in here you could link to another one of your websites you could link to your blog you could link to your youtube social media whatever you get the idea you can put an email opt-in i here i dropped it in there but uh try again yeah so there you go you got an email opt-in and this is just drag and drop so if you don't like it up there you just go ahead and drag it wherever you do want it just put it at the bottom all right well it's not gonna let me drag it down there right now but you get the idea so then you got some buttons here um and you can link these buttons to whatever you want so like i said you can link to another site you can link to another page in your store whatever you want to do and then scarcity tab you get a countdown line account now timer facebook checkbox box products viewers so there you go 123 people are viewing this product settings people are viewing this product now you can change the color and it says the number of viewers will be generated randomly based on the value you set below so uh you know to keep this realistic let's put it down to you know something reasonable i don't think the first day i started this store anyone's going to believe that 10 000 people are viewing my product but it is what it is that's the way it goes in marketing uh the name of the game you know you got it people got to trust in your product it is what it is so you do you um we'll go ahead and save and that's the home page so um you know it is going to take a little time you're going to need to go through and edit each one of these different pages uh as you go so while this demonstration is only gonna take an hour to realistically if you're setting uh up one of these stores and you actually wanna profit from it it's gonna take some tweaking and some fine tuning and i'm going to be doing all that with this store um and updating you guys on my progress and i'll tell you guys when i get my first sale and all that but i'm not going to do all that uh in this first live video because uh it's going to take a lot of time i'm going to need to you know find my own images and find videos and write sales copy sales copy is super important if you're getting into selling things online uh the verbage you use and the way you describe things is super important for getting people to buy um and you know i'll cover that more in other videos but that's the type of thing we'll be doing behind the scenes but i just want to show you guys how easy it is to get set up and started with this and playing with it and once again remind you that it's free so you know if you set up one of these and it takes you a day or it takes you a week and it fails try again and again it's free it doesn't cost you anything eventually one time you're going to get it right and the first time somebody sends you money the first time a stranger sends you money over the internet for uh you know in a passive way for something you did weeks or months ago uh i guarantee you it's going to feel awesome i got started selling online with uh reselling stuff from thrift stores and it was amazing it works really well but if you've ever seen the show holders uh i don't want to turn into that and that's what it's like when you start buying every good deal you see to sell it online yes you make a profit but you also end up with a bunch of stuff and i don't have much more room for stuff without turning into a hoarder so i decided what if i sell digital products or what if i sell other people's products that i don't have my hands on other people do it they're making tons of money doing it lots of people are so it's just a matter of learning the skill and that's what i'm trying to do and that's why i'm streaming to you guys so that hopefully you could try it and maybe learn something and tell me and we can both get more money more easily together so um yeah like i said you're going to go through and edit each one of these individual pages if you don't like it the way it is um and you know you get you see these reviews down here you can upload reviews that you already have whatever um and then there's various upsell layouts here so um like with the timers you can link people to other pages so say i might add some cameras to my store some like action cameras or web cameras and so say somebody clicks on a green screen and they add the green screen to cart i'm going to be able to edit these upsell layouts to then take them from when they enter their credit card information and say yes i want to buy this green screen the very next page is going to be like uh hey do you want an action camera for 50 off if you buy the next five minutes we'll include it with your order at half price and you know you can set up as many of those in a row as you want it only works to a certain point i mean obviously nobody's going to click through 100 pages and end up spending 100 000 on your site when they came to buy something for 10 but what you can do is uh you know double the money you make per sale or triple it um you know the averages it adds up and people are more likely to buy from you people who have already bought from you are more likely to buy from you again than it is for someone new to buy from you so if somebody clicks on the button buy now they just borrow from you so why not try and sell them again and get a little more money so that's what these upsells are going to be able uh or that's excuse me that's what these upsells are going to let you do and i haven't figured out how to format all of them so we're going to leave this alone for right now i just want to show you guys that and then a thank you page so this is obviously just what it sounds like you thank them for your order and uh but anyways that's what's really cool about this groove cart is that all this stuff is set up so when i use shopify it has been a few years but when i was using shopify you had to set up each one of these pages individually and you had to go find on your own videos of people showing you how to do it and if you left one out your site wouldn't work right and this and that and i'm sure it's improved since then i know there's layouts you can click on that do similar stuff to this but uh with groov funnels you're going to have access to email marketing auto responders all the different apps so with uh if you guys have ever used shopify or wix and stuff like that you have to pay for the different upgrades like so okay you pay for your shopify subscription but then you need to pay for an email autoresponder and you need to pay for uh you know an app to connect aliexpress or whatever you need to pay for a subscription for that and for this and uh with groov card all that stuff is kind of built in um all into the groove funnels platform so all this looks like it's set up ready to go they even give you a maintenance mode page and all that so this looks like it's saved so let's go to settings and uh back to the home page and let's set up the url i told you guys that i bought this domain digital media supplies so i want to show you how to set up your uh your domain with your groove card store so we'll go here to settings click on domain and it's as simple as change domain right here current domain empathy trading i told you guys i set that up yesterday just to make sure this is working so change existing domain enter a new domain below and we'll connect it to group card so i want to do digital media dot supplies change domain pointing domain it can take one to two minutes um i believe once i go over to name cheap it can take up to 24 to 48 hours or something like that so you guys might not be able to see the settings take effect live but uh we'll try it out so and then this is the only next step this is the kind of stuff that people think is confusing or technical but it's really not uh today's day and age if you can read you could do it it tells you right here instructions to change name server records in this article it's not even our you don't even need to read all this you just copy this link you're going to come over here to namecheap uh under manage you know once you purchase the domain you'll go to your domain list and there's a button to manage your domain so just here under name servers you're going to click custom dns and you're just going to paste that first link right there and then come back over and grab the second link copy it come back over to namecheap by the way i just get my donate domain names from namecheap you can use godaddy you can use uh any of the other ones out there i like namecheap because they don't make you jump through a lot of hoops they don't haven't seemed to want to hold my domains hostage or anything like that i've just found it really simple to use so i'm not affiliated with them i don't get any uh money or anything if you use them but that's who i use i recommend checking it out so click the check mark to save oops something went wrong please try again huh i have not had that happen but maybe uh it says to make sure you don't copy any spaces so maybe that's what i did maybe i've copied a space or something with it let's try again paste maybe i need to refresh this window yeah i've never had this happen uh i've never had a problem just uh changing the name servers it's literally just copied and pasting a link so hoping that was from uh just leaving the window open so long it might have timed out or something if not i will have to uh figure out what's going on when i'm not live streaming and update you guys but i want to get this working so let's cross our fingers there we go dns server may take up to 48 hours to take effect so you guys might not be able to see it but let's pop an incognito window and test it out all right so this is what it's going to look like before the dms settings take effect if you get a domain at namecheap this domain was recently registered at namecheap please check back later so um it looks like it is not synced up and working yet however there's usually a button for you to like preview your store or whatever on here so let's see if we can't find that go to store right here a little button here go to store so boom here's the store that search results so i'd recommend taking the time going through typing out all this and really selling it you know tell a story about how it's the best product ever don't just give the facts because people who are just looking for specs are going to be also looking for the lowest price possible and buying this from probably aliexpress or amazon or someone who's not charging 3x markup and that's not what you want so write a nice description anyways that's it and here you know it's got this uh i've got 24 seconds left to decide if i want this offer so i'm going to claim the offer and there we
