Building a Cozy Island Hut | Valheim

hello and welcome to a waffles build video yep it's the rare build video uh I found this awesome Island right here and I've already kind of leveled out of space but I want to kind of take it over you ever have that you know strong urge to just quit Society quit life and just build a lovely home and you know be fully self- sustaining on an island in the middle of the ocean well that's exactly what we're going to do today so let's see if we can create something at least kind of decent on this lovely Island let's do [Music] this we going to go with the classic circular household style then I guess we have to put a little thing right there um we're just twisting it inwards one each time and then we get to lateral I think I want to do do I want I want to do two long and then do one inward the rest of the way the rest of the edges I don't know we'll try [Music] it one two that is not lining up hey there we go I think that should do it that is the correct circular thing that I had in mind so let's see what we got we got one two on the edge and then one two 3 one two one two 3 one two one two 3 one two okay that is [Music] good [Music] all right now we have a bit of a square on the inside should I do Hearth would that look good I think a hearth in the middle could look pretty good so like I kind of clip it right into the center right there that's not centered exactly how about that yeah then I could do some like this okay this looks pretty good there's potential [Music] here [Music] [Music] and then we'll do the same thing over here cuz this is going to be like another area where we can roam free um I don't know maybe put a smelting area over [Music] here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] I think this will look good and we'll have well I mean there's no point in yeah we'll just do [Music] this we're not putting a chimney back here the chimney's right here so this is good this is really [Music] good [Music] [Music] [Music] okay that is progress but we need to do this and I think oh maybe we can do [Music] H would this look like garbage I don't think that'll [Music] work okay that is a completed is roof it's not perfect but it's good enough that's a nice little Bungalow right there so now how do I finish this and and then from there I could just put a top on [Music] it okay this is going to look good this is going to this is this is going to look [Music] good I quite like that well except that I kind of hate it [Music] okay there the inward section not the [Music] top right there that's where we want it okay I think that looks all right that's fine is it though is it though or is it garbage should can I do these no all right it's fine for now oh I still have these on there get out of here this is going to come out to the like the workbench area Outdoor Shop I guess so let's let's raise a little ground over [Music] here and I think we're going to have a similar theme out here but we're going to use these poles [Music] [Music] there [Music] that'll be a nice little forging area I [Music] think [Music] [Music] for [Music] okay I think that's M kind of rough but it's fine it's fine and how about a crafting station will this fit in here or will I have to yeah too exposed I'm going to have to block up a little bit of [Music] this [Music] [Music] okay that's functional and then I can do oh can I do this [Music] or is that going to be too exposed no that works all right I like that that looks good maybe with a little bit of [Music] this it looks a little angry okay then a forge over here [Music] here okay so it's not perfect maybe we just don't do the full smelter we just do this one of those right there and one of these right there looks good you can get access to those and then we'll add some accessories and a little chopping block out here so you can chop some wood get a little Forge cooler going on over [Music] here [Music] that looks pretty good I think let's get some light in [Music] here [Music] ah terraforming is just not great in this [Music] game [Music] e [Music] it's a nice little [Music] curve [Music] get in [Music] there there it [Music] is [Music] pretty decent okay I ruined it [Music] all is this is top we do aisp torch that will be nice oh yeah that's going to look really good and you know what we might as well do this we might as well throw a boat out [Music] here beautiful maybe we use the plant everything mod to add a little bit of Shrubbery [Music] around [Music] [Music] all right we have some light that looks lovely and then of course [Music] crafting it's not fitting so what should I put you in [Music] first okay looks good how is the smoke dissipation it'll just go up right right yeah that's fine it looks good nice and homely in here so what we should really do is dedicate like this wall right here to some basic storage it's like what if I just make a little [Music] shelf yeah that's it's fine it's this is a theoretical place not an actual place that I'm going to be living let's pop some uh pop some storage in there just enough room for five yeah we got some storage maybe we can make it look a little [Music] better awesome good shelf good shelf put a little nice little table over here of course with a lovely chair and then don't forget our glorious [Music] [Music] Throne that looks okay from outside it's all right or should I just close it [Music] up yeah for those I should just close it up [Music] that looks out of place right there we could put more shelves over here but how about a little [Music] nightstand got to do the orange Banner we'll do like one right there and one right there looks good about a couple trophies up [Music] here nice no no definitely not all right I think this is about done we don't need to go too hard it looks pretty fantastic just as it is so I guess let's take a seat um we'll pop down pop down the Raven Throne right here we'll take a seat and let's take a tour [Music] okay sure so it's not the most oh okay well day two it's definitely not the most incredible build of all time obviously but I'm pretty proud of it I'm getting better at my building and this was a lot of fun to do taking over an island making it the way that I want just one mod added basically um I have the trash mod at it as well but you know plant everything just to so I could plant little plants around but I barely really used it but you know you got a little nice Hut right here it's very inviting more than spacious enough you can expand it however you want you got you know Deer Stew that you can eat some Grog oh you know what I forgot to put in there um I don't have have any uh I'll just add a fermentor right here it feels right anyway yeah I think it looks pretty good we've got some trophies up top there we've got this beautiful hear area totally never going to light myself on fire but hey it's fine OSHA may not approve but it's fine for me it's good enough for the waffle standard um big old bed got some banners in there I think it looks pretty good it's spacious but it's cozy you know and then on the outside you have a full crafting area so obviously you can expand this however you want if you're going to build something like this but pretty much fully upgraded stuff out here and they all function all the upgrades couldn't really fit the blast furnace in in here cuz it would just kind of get in the way you could put it outside though it's fine yeah I mean there's room for a guard and there's room for improvement but I think this turned out quite lovely hey thanks for watching if you had some fun let me know
