British Mums Try Other British Mums' Sticky Toffee Pudding

yes i would serve this to my family and say i cooked it hi my name's vanessa i'm a mum of three and today i am tasting other mums sticky toffee pudding i don't like cooking sticky toffee pudding at all i don't like making desserts at all we all have different things in our house someone has cream someone has custard and someone has ice cream just look at it look at it look at it look at it look at it look at it look at it that's a sticky toffee pudding the dates i use are i think they're called medjool dates i think using organic products usually have more flavour so that's why it gives it well that's why it makes it the best because it tastes the best because it's got the best flavours in it what makes mine different is that i make it a simple caramel sauce toffee just get that color of toffee for me that's it i don't like this woman it looks good it smells good the shave is beautiful it's lovely and round it smells delicious well done whoever you are it wasn't what i was expecting shape wise it looks like a muffin oh it smells lovely got a nice sponge that's i'm gonna i'm gonna open it up it doesn't look like it was really mixed very well but maybe this is more of like a rustic style let's have a look it's a lovely color and let's try it first on its own to see what it's like it is like a muffin it's not really puddingy [Music] it's really tasty it's moist i've got to say it's better than mine i'd love this with a bit of cream as well this would be amazing i'm sad it's really good it's very dry it needs to be moist i'm a bit disappointed you shouldn't really be able to see the ingredients in it there isn't anything i can say that i don't like about it i don't even know what's in it but it tastes good yeah you're good i like the color of it it looks golden mine always looks quite dark and i prefer the golden look but it's a bit disappointing yes i would serve this to my family and say i cooked it can i take this home i would give it a five must try harder i have to give this a nine out of ten there's always room for improvement i'll never give anything a ten out of ten listen to my mum's cooking well done girl the reason i've decided to do the cream with a sticky joffrey pudding is that's what most people would have with it i find if ever i make it and we have people around for dinner the leaning tower of sponge i'm actually salivating just looking at it it smells really good this is rather dark it's not appealing i don't like i don't like the way it looks it just looks like a blob with covered in all of this you know there's it probably tastes really good but feasting with my eyes nope not going there no visual it's really soft [Music] [Music] i'll be honest i don't know if there's it's salty i don't know why that's odd let me taste this oh is something burnt because if the caramel burns it ruins this the sauce on it and i think something's gone wrong there kel domage as the french say kill the mush what a pity huh my sister you were doing quite well with this moistness you know the moist it's just so lovely and moist there it's moist it's the the cream just blows it away it's just amazing i would say this to my family seven days a week that's how good it is i like the fact that it's moist you know the spoon sort of sinks into it nicely that's nice and that's all i like i don't give any finger ten out of ten but i'm going to give her 10 out of 10 for that i'll never give anything a 10 out of 10 unless my mum's cooking i have to hands down girl i'm impressed the presentation wasn't great so it's not going to go anywhere i'd give the sticky toffee pudding a 5 out of 10. [Music] by far the best sticky top of pudding i've ever tasted in my life it really is others would say about my sticky toffee pudding that it's amazing because if they didn't i'd chop their hands off normally when the sauce is that dark i'm thinking oh has something burnt we'll find out it smells nice it's got an appealing smell i i is something burnt i don't know something's strong i don't know what else is in there it smells like mine so it must be good i'm not sure what's going on here but it looks spongy for me it looks like a real sticky toffee pudding [Music] is it a hit is it a mess it's somewhere in between i like the sauce the flavor i'd like more sauce and i'd like something with it either cream or pasta or ice cream because it's a little bit dryer when you get to the middle i definitely would serve it to my family and i think they wouldn't really be able to tell the difference between mine and this one if it had more source it's okay i'm not raving about it when mine is not on the table you will do i would give this a sexy six out of ten i would have to give this an 8 out of 10. it would get a 9 out of 10 if it had more sauce and it would get a 10 out of 10 if it was accompanied by some cream or ice cream or custard [Music] oh my god i can't believe that because i don't cook it that often but i'm absolutely over the moon and i think i might cook it more now man she's good it was beautiful so well done you know not possible [Music] you
