like for lack of a better term we got Simon and Daphney just clapping cheeks all the time however I do really like the arc with her accepting Violet is going to date her brother that's like a cool decent Arc and I like that lady danber is so forgiving and so understanding of that especially given the fact that she was clapping cheeks with Violet's daddy offc screen he had turned into this looks maxing absolute monstrosity of like Mee right I like Bridgeton I just want to say that from the jump I love Bridgeton season 1 and 2 I absolutely adored Queen Charlotte I talked about in my first big video about season 3 my breakdown of season 3 part one that I felt like this show had dropped the ball and season 3 part two has dropped and it continues to Fumble I am so so disappointed I don't know what is going on with this new showrunner but this is not the Bridgeton that I feel like Bridgeton fans deserve now in saying that I do think Bridgeton season 3 part two the back end of season 3 has a few more standout moments than season 3 part one however it feel feels like season 3 part one's worst Tendencies are dialed up to 11 here I don't know what on Earth is going on for example the technical elements the camera angles are absolutely absurd in the last half of season 3 so many discussions are had in the corner of the frame oh lady damry or yet again camera angles are up people's noses there is this insane shot where Colin walks into his family home to tell them the news of them getting married and it's literally framed like this it's in insane it's not cool it's not artistic it's actually really distracting if you want a master class in Creative exciting framing look at the film challenges but Bridgeton genuinely feels like amateur student film making on top of that the lighting the editing the music the costumes it's all over the place here I've seen mention in my comments of poorly fitting dresses and acrylic nails on top of that the editing this season is all over the place even though I like what they did with Benedict this season the way they edited his storyline is genuinely insane apparently he was having sex for like 97 hours we'll literally cut to other characters and have complete substantial arcs and plot development and then cut back to the same sex scene with Benedict even though other people's stories have progressed by like 3 or 4 days like just unhinged insane editing on top of that in the much anticipated big sex scene of the scene the mirror scene there is literally a shot where he plays with her hair and then it cuts back and her hair's down and then it cuts back again and her hair's in a different place it's just can we focus on getting these things right how hard is it notice this she's angry she takes the hair clip W throws it on the ground no hair clip and she walks off she goes home right she she dropped over there it's gone but then it's back in her hair what happened this show used to be a technical Masterpiece say what you will about some of the problematic storytelling and some of the clunky line delivery in those first two seasons but the show was beautiful the sets were Grand the world felt lived in and now you watch season 3 part two instead it feels like that weird Bridgeton experience that influencers were charging $30 to go to the ton consistent L feels empty establishing shots of the overhead of all the buildings inside the ton genuinely look like they belong in Polar Express or Mars Needs Moms like major uncanny valley Vibes they look so strange on top of that going back to that pivotal sex scene that is such a big moment for fans there's actually this weird filter over it that is blurring all the edges of the frame and sometimes the characters accidentally slip into this blurred effect so as a result their faces start to blur and feel like uncanny valley on top of that there's a scene where a choir boy is looking directly down the barrel of the camera actor catches himself and clearly looks flustered there's moments where strings are playing and the strings are nowhere near in time to what we're [Music] hearing like so many technical Goofs and I know for a lot of people this stuff doesn't matter I know this sounds like I'm just nerding out but it's important because if you're wondering why season 3 fills off this is a big factor these technical elements being all sloppy are serious hindrance to the audience's ability to actually connect with this story and immerse themselves in this world you would not catch these sort of technical goose in HBO shows Game of Thrones in its peak didn't have it but when Game of Thrones was sloppy they had the Starbucks cup succession would never allow this level of technical Goofs again I said it in season 3 part one but Bridget and fans deserve better you need to demand better you cannot let Netflix treat this show the way it treats all its other premere shows where it gives them one or two seasons High budget High effort clinical precision and then once they have an established fan base they just throw the towel and stop giving a [ __ ] it's really important that we actually push back and demand better from this show because otherwise I actually think they're just not taking the target audience seriously and they think they can get away with it because they think the target audience isn't smart enough to notice these things and I'm telling you you need to notice these things one last thing they reuse establishing shots at multiple points there is literally a shot that they play twice of like people walking in front of the Bridgeton family's house it's so frustrating stop making these mistakes stop doing them the framing's awful the lighting admittedly is a bit better this season they kind of like chilled back on the cartoonish like kid show looking Vibe but it still looks like horseshit compared to season 1 and 2 it's better than season 3 part 1 admittedly but not by much God damn it is this show Ugly to look at all of a sudden I don't know what the [ __ ] has happened and it's really strange right because in the sex scene in a few scenes they keep adding this blur effect the people walk into like Smooths and messes up their faces right but then you have Colin walking around and just the way he carries himself and the way he looks in general feels like he's a product of that but he's not that's that's kind of just how he looks like in Bridgeton now on top of that the pacing is still weird and clunky now it is a bit better than season 3 part one I do think we are a bit more focused here we do get more time with Colin and Penelope thank the Lord I think Penelope's performance here is a lot better I think Colin's performance here is a lot better in Parts but really bad in other parts and thank the Lord they have cut the screen time of the mundri family but there is way too much to chew on in these last four episodes now in my season 3 part one video I talked about the fact that Collin's character Arc constantly gave me Whiplash offc screen he had turned into this [ __ ] boy looks maxing absolute monstrosity of like mewing right Colin comes back and he's a complete [ __ ] boy rap so as an audience member straight away you're trying to catch up with that because that's a big character shift from what we've seen of him previously then just as you're catching up to that they go actually he has regrets about that that's not the truth him he doesn't really feel good about that so then you get Whiplash again but on top of that now he has to go confess his love to penal and it feels like every single time you start to get footing on who Colin's character is they switch it again each of those little arcs in my opinion needed a season or at least three to four episodes for me to really feel as an audience member and season 3 part two turns this up to 11 with a few characters so for example lady feather I love the work that they did with lady featherington on paper I think some of it was really well done really well explored I love the tension between Penelope and lady featherington at certain points however there is so much character the work that they have to get done in like three episodes and they barely pull it off you know one minute she is the nastiest she's ever been she's actively as cruel as I wanted her to be in season 3 part one finally we see how mean and cruel lady featherington can be when she's saying that she doesn't believe that Penelope could have pulled a Bridget and boy I was seen there as an audience member going finally this is the conflict I needed to see throughout the show but then straight away she shifts and she starts trying to suck up to penal and I go oh this is an interesting Arc too she's been like fake nice to penal and really trying to weasle her away in because she sees it as an opportunity for money power and influence however this really fascinating plot where lady featherington is being disingenuous being snaky and trying to manipulate her daughter lasts for about 10 minutes and then all of a sudden she's been Earnest she wants to repair the relationship she sees the errors of her ways it's way too quick it's just so quick and so rush so then Penelope goes from hating her mother trying to avoid her mother to making up with her mother in one big fight and admittedly I thought the fight teene was really well written really well performed and really well executed I just wish there was more buildup for both characters leading into that final fight where Penelope confronts her mother and vice versa and they call each other out for their problematic behavior and they agree to do better however in my opinion this is just such a rushed Arc each of these plot points needed at least three or four episodes each in my opinion you really needed to sit with lady featherington being absolutely cruel to her daughter then we needed time to sit with Lady featherington trying to manipulate her daughter trying to pretend to be nice then we needed a few episodes of Lady featherington realizing the error of her ways and trying to actually be better for her daughter and then we needed time for Penelope to actually actively recognize that change and let it be earned but it is so rushed it is so quick it was some of the best character conflict we could have got in Bridgeton season 3 as a whole now I will go more in depth with all these character plot lines when I do my character by character breakdown in the back end of this video I just want to list another few plot lines that felt way too rush for me before really deep diving into them Franchesca now unfortunately I really liked the character work that they were doing with Franchesca and Kil Martin this season I thought it was excellent I thought it was great it was such a good payoff to season 3 part one hey guys had a bit of a brain glitch here I know his name is John Sterling and he is the Earl of Kil Martin and I refer to him as Kil Martin for a while in this video um I was talking a lot and my brain cross some wires sorry I'm sure you get what I mean we barely get any time of what they are like as a married couple before that is thrown in Jeopardy like literally the instant she realizes oh I'm feeling a bit weird about kill Martin she then meets Michaela and she realizes what true love is I actually like this a bit on paper but it is so quick it is so rushed and I feel like we were just getting to know Kil Martin that were just doing some interesting character work with him and now it's completely thrown up in the air it just feels so strange to me and you can't tell me that they're going to figure this out later because at the end of this season they do a substantial time Jump yet again so those arcs that they set up are being set in stone just so rushed such wasted potential and I will get into the ramifications of that plot line when I do my character by character breakdown at the end of this video so please do stick around for that next Benedict's Arc look I actually like sex scenes I am not complaining about the amount of sex scenes that we got with Benedict I did think the pacing and the editing timeline wise was [ __ ] bizarre however not complaining about the Regency Era challenges sort of scenes I actually quite like them now the thing I like about these scenes is it shows how free Benedict feels in this environment it shows that he's really having like an eye opening moment and really gting like immersed in the world of what he's doing however I do feel like we're being short changed a bit I don't know why we're not getting more insight into how Benedict feels with this queer Awakening he's having into how Benedict actually feels about living as a queer bisexual man I think that's really fascinating and yes maybe this will be explored in Seasons down the line but I feel like this would have been a really good opportunity to explore that as he's actually dipping his toe into this world for the first time another example of Rush plot lines and weird editing is Collins's writing Arc what the [ __ ] is this now I know a bunch of people are going to be like well that's how it was in the books sure but in terms of what I've been watching in the show how it's been presented to me this is so out of left field like he's literally sworn like an oath to take down whistle down he cannot stand whistle down and it is established that this isn't jealousy all right he isn't mad because like she's a really good writer and he wants to be a really good writer he's mad because whistled down exposed Eloise exposed him and tried to ruin their lives at different points at least in his eyes so when he finds out that penal is whistled down he's actively pissed and rightfully so yeah fair enough and out of nowhere when he's forgiving her he starts going on about like oh yeah I was just um I was just jealous because like you're such a good writer and like I want to be a good writer and you're such a good writer and like I'm insecure I'm just an insecure man living in a woman's Shadow blah blah blah blah blah I got a lot of comments from women on my season 3 part two quick review on my channel and a lot of the sentiments from those comments is we don't have an issue with female impairment we actively encourage it however we don't like when writers heard the characters we care about to make that happen I completely agree this is so strange it doesn't make sense for Colin's character at all it's out of nowhere we've had no time with Collins writing at all it is so strange another insanely rushed character Arc crescor oh my God for season 3 part 1 that was one of the highlights all right they were doing really slow mature character work then all of a sudden yet again they pull off like five subplots that each needed again three or four episodes they just steamrolled a bunch of [ __ ] all of a sudden she has an arranged marriage like a lady Danbury type of like young arranged marriage then she goes [ __ ] that I'm actually going to claim that I'm whistle down to get me out of this position and at first that's framed as a move of desperation and tragedy but then she just becomes the super villain again out of nowhere she just turns into full-on Super Villain era and just wants to destroy the lives of everyone around her with pretty much No Remorse for a good chunk of the season now yes as the season goes on she does start feeling a bit bad and she does push against her mother and she does kind of like double back on it but Jesus Christ this was so rushed could have been such an interesting plotline if they really pulled this off and gave it the time it needed to this plotline along with the whistle down reveal along with Benedict's sexuality along with Queen Charlotte's beef with whistle down also Francesca's relationship with Kil Martin and the potential love triangle that's coming all need tons of time to be developed these are really mature juicy substantive plot lines that really need a lot of effort and Care put into them and four episodes in my opinion is not enough time to introduce them and also properly resolve them and they tried and they failed now before I get into my character by character breakdown let me tell you some things I thought they improved from season 3 part one first off I was complaining in season 3 part one that I really didn't feel like I had a good idea of what whistle down was meant to represent I couldn't tell if the show thought it was toxic cruel and mean I couldn't tell if it was meant to be feminist empowerment I really felt like the show didn't have a really properly defined voice for what whistle down represented in the world of Bridgeton and how we were meant to look at it as audience members were we meant to be looking at Penelope engaging in whistle down the same way we look at Walt in Breaking Bad making meth going like oh you need to stop I get I get why you can't stop but like dude you need to stop or were we meant to be sitting there cheering Penelope on because it's this amazing thing she does and I have to give season 3 part two credit they actually explored this topic really really well I loved all the scenes where Penelope needed to give it up for her love for Colin but she just you know she can't step away from this Empire she built I loved all the scenes where she's talking with character and monologuing about how it's hers it's this thing she built she doesn't want people to take it I also love that on paper creser almost solves whistle Down's issue right she comes out and she takes credit for whistle Down's writing and in theory that means Penelope can marry Colin without ever being caught but you realized that's not what it's about and I loved all those scenes where we really got a good insight into what makes Penelope and whistle down and the dynamic between those two tick I needed that the whole entire show and we finally got it I just wish we got more of it and I wish it was around in season 3 part one next in my opinion we finally saw the mother of penal be properly properly cruel we needed that I really needed to feel just how awful the family was and we finally got that and it was really well handled really well done and yes it was rushed but when it was working [ __ ] me it was working like I love that scene that they had I love when Penelope called out lady featherington for stealing money from the ton totally valid and I also liked when lady featherington called out Penelope for hurting the reputation of people in the ton hot take but I actually thought both parties in that argument were in the right and in the wrong in different sections and it was a really welldone well performed well executed scene now if you're still watching this thank you so much please do think about subscribing if you want me to do a complete season 3 review please let me know in the comments if this video does well enough I will definitely do that now we are going to get into our character by character breakdown first off we have Penelope featherington this girl is the nastiest I've ever met now first off I absolutely love that the rift between aloise and Penelope is still there I love that they still aren't reconnecting as friends properly there's still some tension this is the type of pacing I need from Bridgeton I need to feel the character arcs I need time to engage with them I need to feel like conflicts just aren't wrapped up in 5 minutes and I love that aloise and Penelope are kind of like butting heads and reconnecting moments and not reconnecting other parts and help each other out in certain spots it's great I think it's really well done really well executed and I love that a friendship breakdown is being treated as serious as a romantic relationship breakdown in the world of Bridgeton I think it's so well done and is some of the best stuff of this season next I've mentioned it a few times so I won't harop on too long but I absolutely love the conflict between Penelope and her mother I think it's really well executed in moments I wish it wasn't so rush I wish we got more time of it but for what we got I think it was really good I love that final fight they had and I know it felt quick it felt rushed insane that though on paper I do really like the idea that Penelope you know gives her mother money to help out with the weddings of her sisters and lets her mother take credit for that I think it's a really good bonding moment between these two it does actually feel like they're starting to see eye to eye on top of that in terms of some like character analysis I actually like the idea that penel has done something that lady Feathering never could she is a made woman she has made a living for herself she is breaking generational cycle she is helping her family lift themselves out of financial ruin and giving her mom and herself and her sisters a life that they could never attain previously really well done however her relationship with Colin I I just don't know we did not get enough time with them as friends I know it was sprinkled around the first two seasons but they felt friendly not like actual friends to me their chemistry at times is really good and other times it's it's really whack I just don't see that really great friendship base that we needed in saying all this despite the blur effect despite some of the framing I think conceptually speaking I think the sex scene in front of the mirror was really good I think the sort of like virginal sex scene was really well executed really romantic I do like the Colin despite being presented as a bit of a slot as a bit of a man [ __ ] I like that he takes care of penal in this scene I like that there's a lot of back and forth there's a lot of intimacy there I also like the call back to season one with DNE where penal says oh there's more really well done and really well handled in terms of a virginity loss sequence however in season 1 after Daphne lost her virginity we also got a lot of scenes of her actually actively exploring her sexuality like for lack of a better term we got Simon and Deany just claping cheaks all the time now apparently there were entire sex scenes that were completely cut there was an entire sex Montage between Penelope and Colin that was cut and I do actually think that's really quite disappointing I got a few comments on my season 3 part one thoughts video where I saw people talk about the fact that there aren't that many sex scenes is really disappointing given the sort of body positivity angle that was being taken in the promotion leading up to the release of this Bridgeton season and I have to say I do get where you guys are coming from unfortunately I also thought Penelope being exposed as whistle down was so rushed and so quick and so disappointing she basically talks the entire ton in one sequence gives this really lame overridden speech and somehow gets herself out of trouble and apparently no one cares no one's annoyed anyone she's ever exposed doesn't seem to give a [ __ ] and she's totally finder just keep doing whistle down I thought this was so rushed so lame so quick on top of that I get the idea that the queen actually kind of likes whistle down I do get that the idea that they're in this intellectual battle of wits and the queen kind of enjoys it cuz it gives her something to do however the fact that the queen was so hellbent on causing drama for lady whistle down so hellbent on really holding her accountable and then just throws in the towel after exposing her in front of everyone so whack I thought this speech was so rushed so quick and so lame let me know in the comments if you get where I'm coming from on this for me just a total eye roll moment I have no clue what the [ __ ] they were doing here next we got Lucas colen bridon what's that brother what on Earth is going on with col it's still feels like he's in the midst of a manic episode he like bursts into the Bridgeton house he's like we're getting married then he's like actually I want to be a writer actually I'm not mad that you expose my secrets I'm just mad because I want to be a writer do you want to be my editor Colin is all over the place this season he is nuts I have no clue what they're doing with Colin I like when he actually like strips it down takes a second to think about what he's saying I love the moment where he bursts in and defends penal to his mother a great scene and also quite complex it's interesting that he's coming into that conversation from a place of privilege and telling off lady featherington when there are angles to Lady featherington behavior that are actually substantiated and valid given how women are treated back then Colin simultaneously comes off as privileged and juvenile but also also a hero in Penelope's eyes really well executed really good writing moment aside from that so much of col this season is just totally whack he's still doing the mouth thing he's still walking around every 5 Seconds just like what is it stop doing it I don't like it it's so strange is it a lip filler thing like I hate it it makes me so uncomfortable he'll just say something sexy and just I I don't I don't get it what is it it's so weird and that's the issue with colonist a character is he's having all these interactions making these weird stoic faces that's just so distracting and I don't believe anything he's saying now despite all my problems with Collins's characterization this season I absolutely love the moment where he's like don't worry babe daddy Collins's got this and he bursts into creser and he failed the interaction he like lost he took the fattest owl ever it was so good such a great moment aside from that I really don't have that much to say his writing plot is whack I don't get his character motivation there were points where he's like I am going to take whistle down then he finds out that creser is whistle down and he's like yeah I I mean I I guess I don't care that much whatever why would I care then he finds out Penelope's whistle down he's like actually I do care I'm really really upset but then he bumps into Penelope in an Alleyway and decides to just finger Blaster against the wall and then the next day he's like actually I'm I'm I'm still mad because you you you're going to continue to be whistled down and I hate it and then he just randomly has this like Epiphany he's like oh the only reason I was ever mad is because I'm jealous because I want to be a riter anyway All Is Forgiven and you're awesome you're the bees knees babe it was so weird it was so strange I I don't get it on top of that can I just say Colin being annoyed on behalf of what whistle down did to aloise is totally fair Colin being annoyed about what whistledown said about him is whack all she said in season 3 part one about Colin in her little article was Colin is a rag it's like dude you you were a rake is that really that bad like chill the [ __ ] out dude next we have aloise and this is an important moment to define the difference between bad character writing and a character being bad so for example Logan Roy in succession is a terrible father he is a terrible man he is morally reprehensible but he is a well written excellent character and aloise is being [ __ ] this season all right she's been an awful person she's been mean she's been nasty she's ignoring creser when creser is opening up to her about her life aloise is selfish she is selfish and privilege this season however I think that is intentional I think as a character she's really well written and I think the ideas that are being explored through alaways is really well done one of privilege and wealth and just like being out of touch with your surroundings with the people around you I love all the character work with Alo and Penelope I love the scenes between aloise and Benedict I live for aloise and Benedict scenes I absolutely love them and I would kill for more of them yeah in my opinion is aloise being incredibly unlikable incredibly nasty this season absolutely but I think it's 100% intentional I think it's one of the moments where the writers are actually pulling off what they're trying to pull off really quite well and I'm really interested to see if she gets some redemption or if she stays the same problematic weirdo all right next we have Franchesca Bridgeton I really liked what they were doing with Franchesca in season 3 part one I really like this quiet intimate Slow Burn romance they were building up with Kil Martin and I really like what they were doing in part two with Franchesca and Kil Martin I actually like they got married I like the time that was spent on them I wasn't that mad that it was taken away from Penelope and Colin cuz at that point I had given up on penelop and Colin entirely all right like after season 3 part one I was checked out of that and I'm like give me some good side characters and I'll be okay and I thought what they were doing with Franchesca and kill mtin was really well done I also really like that Franchesca pushes back against her mother and says hey not everything needs to be this sort of love your talk about I like this quiet sweet little romance that I have awesome moment however the idea that she already isn't feeling it with Kil Martin the kiss wasn't what she wanted and now she's got like a new lesbian infatuation is a bit quick for my liking do I like the idea that before physical intimate moments she thought she really loved Kil Martin and then when she kisses him she realizes something isn't right yes but then in my opinion you need to really Pace out the idea that she realizes it's never going to work and maybe she's leaning the other way with this new woman Michaela because in my opinion it's just so quick and so rush and gives me total Whiplash yet again I can Picture This Love Triangle like messy subplot being so well executed in the hands of really good writers like for example if she really tries to make the relationship with Kil Martin work for like a year or two right and just the intimacy isn't there they don't connect that way like it just doesn't work and then slowly that infatuation with Michaela builds I think it could be really fascinating really tragic I think the character work they've done with kilm Martin this season is actually really good so if you made us really empathize with Kil Martin in that situation because he loves Franchesca however Franchesca loves Michaela I think that would be so well done but I don't think they're going to pull it off that well because it just feels so rushed at this point I can picture an amazing sulop where she's pregnant with Kil Martin's child and then is simultaneously in love with Michaela then you can even weave in the infertility plot that was in the books that people are really worried is going to get cut but I just don't think they're going to pull it off and that is exemplified by the fact that this feels so rushed so out of left field and just so quick like we really needed to sit with Kil Martin and Franchesca either working for a bit or not working at all in my opinion next we have Anthony Bridgeton I to tell the family so much so that I can shout for all of here flower of some Forget Me Not lilu My Boy Anthony is back and he's better than ever now I cannot stand that this show consistently will like exit characters out of the show with like no Fan Fair I did not like that Anthony and Kate we didn't see their wedding then they they come back at season 3 part one for like 2 minutes and then they go away again I really hate when shows write in sloppy plot lines or sloppy excuses for big actors to leave their shows because they just don't want to pay them anymore and that's what Anthony and Kate felt like when they left at the start of season 3 and the midpoint of season 3 however when we get Anthony and Kate in season 3 part two they are so good they are the best part of the show Jonathan Bailey who plays Anthony is just so good and he genuinely feels like an unhinged Maniac this season I think he just has wife goggles like I think he's drunk on love he's screaming at the rooftops he's screaming the wrong answers in the riddle challenge like he is an unhinged Maniac this season and I'm here for it I love the actor I think he's fantastic and I'm so glad that he's back this season him and Benedict just have a level of Charisma that Colin is missing and it's so great to see it's just refreshing to have a Prestige actor back in the show especially one from when the show was in its prime next we also have Kate I love the character work they're doing with Kate too I like the idea that they're trying for a baby I love the way that Kate looks at Anthony I love the way that he's almost this puppy for her and he's just like totally enamored with her and she enjoys that and she likes to keeping him in check it's such a good Dynamic and it feels like a great 180 from their dynamic in season 2 where they were just butting heads all the time I love that Anthony has just decided to be Kate's Super S for the rest of his life and he's totally okay with that and Kate absolutely loves it it's just such a great Dynamic to see play out next we have Queen Charlotte look Queen Charlotte was better in season 3 than she was in season 2 but she is nowhere near near as good as she was in the spin-off series Queen Charlotte her motivation is really strange this season she gives up the fight with Lady whistle down a bit too conveniently and a bit too clunky for my liking I really don't get what was going on with Queen Charlotte for a lot of this season again I really do like the idea that she actually kind of enjoys this intellectual battle of wits but that's really the only thing I could get behind with Queen Charlotte this season I love the hair but I really do miss connecting with Queen Charlotte the way we did in her spin-off in my opinion I feel after the Great character work we got in the Queen Charlotte spin-off what we see of her in season 3 feels slightly disappointing in my opinion next we lady Danbury look whatever uh the reveal that she actually knew that penelopi was whistle down is so whack to me like yes it kind of makes sense because lady danber is always watching she's very observant but it just feels like a weird redcon in my opinion it doesn't really work it just feels so sloppy it just feels like the show trying to like reward Penelope and whistle down unnecessarily I I I didn't really buy it however I do really like the arc with her accepting Violet is going to date her brother that's like a cool decent Arc and I like that lady danber is so forgiving and so understanding of that especially given the fact that she was clapping cheeks with Violet's daddy uh next character I want to talk about is Lord deblin where was he where was he why did he not come back why was he not informing crescor subplot in any way shape or form like what the [ __ ] happened like I didn't need him to start fighting Colin for Penelope or anything stupid like that it was just he was like a wellone character they spent a lot of time with him in the first half of season 3 and he just evaporates he's just banished to Bridget and Purgatory apparently it's so strange why do they keep doing this I hate that they introduce characters give them a lot of time and then just [ __ ] them off when they're sick of them it's so weird right next we have cresa look I love creser actually deciding to pretend to be whistled down I thought that was such a cool idea I get why she needed to do it given the arranged marriage I thought the arranged marriage subplot introduction was way too rushed it was way too late in the game to introduce that that needed to be set up in season 3 part one however the most invested I've been in the entire season 3 was when creser took credit for whistle Down's rain I didn't expect it I didn't see it coming and I was curious to see where the show went next really really well done I also loved that Queen Charlotte was like all right you're going to write a whistle down piece I love that crescor mom basically went you are not cut out to be a writer you [ __ ] suck I'm going to do this for you like so funny that the mom was just like you're useless let let me take over such a great moment I loved the idea of this plot line on paper however again it just felt rushed I thought the conclusion was weird and I thought the fact that she did a complete 180 it wasn't even a sympathetic villain Arc was really quite sloppy I feel like creser being fake whistle down could have made for a season long Arc if they wanted to cuz in my opinion it just feels really Rush that they made us empathize with her in season 3 part one just to make her the clear clear villain in season 3 part two next we have Benedict Bridgeton look I know a lot of people are complaining about the fact that so much time was spent on Benedict and not Colin and Penelope yes that is true true all right like I totally get that complaint however in my opinion I'd already given up on Colin and penal after how poorly done it was in season 3 part one so I actually kind of enjoyed what they were doing with Benedict I liked all the sex scenes I lik the twist with the woman he was seen however again like I mentioned before I just wish more time was spent on him kind of coming to terms with his sexuality what it meant for him and his high status position and his relationship with the ton what it really means back then in that time like I wish we got more insight into the actual ramifications of this how he feels about it even if he just feels empowered and excited I would have liked to see that a bit more instead of just the sex scenes keep the sex scenes if you want but also give us a bit more depth and insight into what he's actually thinking next we have the mandres no more mandr subplot where is the SC take it and pass it to the next person double it and give it to the next person keep it actually give it to nobody these characters need to be cut I do just think they keep him around because he's some sort of linkage to Simon from season one but this is so so bad and so boring like I don't get it it's just so bad and so boring and I don't care they need to cut them or they need to give them something really interesting to do because this whole plotline boiling down to basically like oh we sold the pub and we miss the pub because the pub was part of who we are is so lame it's so [ __ ] it's so so bad cut it cut it cut it cut it next we have John Sterling AKA kill Martin I actually really like the character work they gave him all these scenes of him interacting with with the Bridgeton boys I was not expecting the performance and the character to be so charismatic and I actually really like that there's a contrast with how he is around francheska and how he is around the boys I think it's really fascinating really well done and I didn't expect the show to pull it off so well like really just like an interesting character and I'm really wondering why he's so different around the boys compared to how he is around Franchesca really interesting and I am actually excited and curious to see where his character are goes I really liked their wedding despite it feeling rushed and I hope he feels like a good core character for as long as he's in the show and next finally we have violet bridon she was fine I really like her as a character I just don't think they gave her a bunch to do this season I'm glad that she's in love I also love the scene where Anthony is looking over and he's like he's getting too close to my mother great stuff from Anthony I like violet speeches about the whole love match thing and I like the tension and conflict it provides I think Violet's just a good character and I hope they keep her in the show as long as the show runs it would be really nice if she was a staple part of the show throughout all the character change and different points of focus in the show anyways I think that's everything I have to say about bridges and season 3 part two that was a long video and I'm sure there's some stuff I miss like I'm sure I'm going to look back on this in like 4 days and be like [ __ ] I forgot this this this and this I'm going to try and engage with the comments as much as
