hey guys welcome back to my channel I hope you're doing fantastic today we are going to be discussing everybody's favorite sheland period piece Bridgeton now if you don't know Bridgerton is a liel Netflix original it's said in the fantasy world of Mayfair London in the 1800s I believe it was produced by Shonda ryes and it's based on a book series from the author Julia Quinn the show takes place in an alternate reality where diversity is a thing to an extent we have a woman of color Queen Charlotte love her down this alternative reality also has Billy eyh violin covers which is arguably my favorite part of this entire show is the violin covers it's like such a simple thing that just adds so it adds like a certain genus of quad to the show and it is a romance drama with each season focusing on the Romantic lives of one of eight bridg one of eight Bridgeton siblings now this season focus on the third eldest Bridgeton sibling whose name is Colin and his love interest interest SL best friend Penelope featherington who at the end of season 1 was revealed to be sort of this universe's version of Gossip Girl lady whistle down which would make Penelope featherington the Dan Humphrey of this universe and I don't know how I feel about that let's talk about lady whistledown for a second so Penelope's best friend Eloise has been searching for who lady whistle down is for ages because lady wil down is an incredible writer but at the end of the day she does write about gossip and she has kind of almost ruined like a couple of people's lives including Eloise Penelope's best friend and obviously Penelope is lady whistledown so when Eloise at the end of season 2 finds out that Penelope is lady whistledown she is pissed so that is another thing that we are going to be tackling this season is like the breakdown of this friendship so back to Penelope and Colin Penelope has literally been in love with Colin for the entirety of the the run of the show the entirety of their friendship but these feelings are unrequited he sees her as a friend and she's okay with that she is a genuine friend to him I believe it's towards the end of season 2 when she finally thinks that maybe Colin is showing some form of feelings towards her that maybe he could see her as a little bit more than a friend she overhears him talking to some of his friends being like he wouldn't dream of dating Penelope featherington and she runs away crying while they're all laughing at her like even if you wouldn't dream of dating her at the end of the day she is still your friend so why would you speak about her like that it's so strange he spoke about it as if it was some sort of crazy Concepts like don't piss me off before I scrape those [ __ ] ass sideburns off your head this show sets up Penelope to be this like really weird socially awkward loser and it's hard because she literally looks like a Disney princess like it was a little hard for me to suspend my belief this season because like literally the whole town hates her at a Bridges 10 season 3 event in La Nicola who plays Penelope stated I actually felt like it was a very important part of their story as a unit because she really had him on this insane pedestal she thinks he's infallable but he's not it was very important to him to have this fall from grace with her so that she can finally see herself in comparison as just a worthy human in general in this season like I don't think it's a spoiler at this point they they obviously become a thing and I really really hope that he does a lot of graveling yes she has done some bad things but like how dare you I feel like if I heard something like that coming out of the love of my life's mouth I don't think I'd ever forgive them cuz that thought would always be at the back of my head I don't know anyways I want answers let's begin [Music] season 3 begins with the featherington returning in their Carriage from a summer in the countryside and Penelope is grinning ear to ear because she sees everybody reading her lady whistle down column we are soon at the bton household and we get our first Anthony and Kate Cameo of the season and when I tell you I screamed I wasn't expecting that because obviously in the second season Daphne and I've literally forgotten his name now her love interest they didn't really make I think they made one appearance and then they didn't show up for the rest of the season so I kind of wasn't expecting them to show up this season so that was a very very pleasant surprise anyways I screamed lives were changed it was incredible you don't understand what they mean to me in this season we find out that Franchesca is the Bridgeton sibling the Bridgeton daughter who will be debuting this season who is this woman I don't think I've seen her I I don't think I've seen her before I think we did get a glimpse of her in season 1 but I believe in season 2 she was staying in her aunt in both she has now come back from both they also changed the actress she is stunning whoever did the casting for the show did an amazing job because I can really see the resemblance between her and Daphne they look so much alike but yeah she's just like has just this ethereal beauty that I love I love to stare at her I love to look at her we see Colin who has arrived back in town from his travels obviously the show is now trying to make the audience horny for Colin bridon because that's what they do when um the Bridgeton siblings become Leading Men they are really really Heming it up though man put your [ __ ] shirt back on PE you you're the only shirtless person in this Carriage put it on I'm just kidding I'm just a hater listen I I love Bridgeton for their ability to make incredibly charismatic and Charming Leading Men and Colin is just not that for me I'm so sorry call me a Colin hater sure if Colin has zero ha haters I'm dead I'm not like a full hater but I just for me this character is not charismatic enough to be a leading man I so sorry that might be a controversial opinion but that's just what it is an opinion do not give me think pieces in the comments please Penelope is once again in the corner about to cry and at this point I'm just like girl you heard what the hell he said about you in the last season and you still are pining over him Get Up Stand Up side note this dress she's wearing is so stunning the combination of these colors makes my eyes very very happy can I just say how cute and fluffy I think this show is everyone is so attractive they're so nice to look at everything is so beautiful the colors are so vivid and gorgeous it just makes my head feel nice more shows like this please and thank you Shonda rymes get back on your Zoom I know you've been on your Zoom but like more please anyways the debutant introduce themselves to the queen and she is violently unimpressed just yawning in their faces the queen doesn't end up picking a what she calls a diamond the prized uh debutant of the Season who like she makes her mission to get a match for she doesn't end up picking one like she usually would at this event much to the Mam's and daughter's display that's that's what they call their moms in the show Mama it's so funny mama so later we are at the featherington household and we learned that Penelope's sisters Philippa and Prudence have both wed in between Seasons very very cute we've also learned that in between Seasons their aunt uh what was her name what was her name their Aunt Petunia had passed away leaving them with her Fortune so thankfully they are no longer financially struggling wo I kind of love how the featherington are a matriarchy but Porsha the mom The Matriarch she really needs to get her [ __ ] together because that opportun story was a load of bull crap we will get back to that later so later we are at one of the Queen's Suarez and Colin is going around flirting with everybody and their mothers even though he allegedly is not looking to marry yet the girls literally laugh after every single word he says [Music] my [Music] name is Colin Bridgeton I am the funniest Penelope soon arrives and Witnesses this before her and Eloise run into each other talking for the first time since her fight L season when she found out that Penelope was Lady whistle down I was about to call her Lady featherington Lady whistle down this [ __ ] caresa who hates Penelope for some actually the whole ton hates Penelope for some reason but most especially caresa I don't know why I think she's a little bit threatened but she is now Eloise's bestie another Kate appearance woo W also these bouquets go crazy these are the prettiest bouquets I have seen in my entire life top five bouquet for sure I'm obsessed I love side note I want to learn how to make bouquets like I feel like there's for sure an art to it like it looks like Flores just like throw flowers in there but like if you really look at it there is an art to it I literally saw this whole book of different ways bouquets are made it was like a book this thick that's something I want to get into I do have my problems with Porsche which we will get into later but you cannot say this woman doesn't work hard everything she does is to take care of her daughters um she doesn't go about it in the right way ever really but the heart is there for the most part Penelope's mom literally tells her I take comfort in knowing that you will always always be here to take care of me as in she's not even entertaining the fact that her daughter could find a man ever Penelope is apparently considered a spinster at this point in mind I looked up her age penel is supposed to be 1920 it's it's ridiculous the standards that women were held to back then I mean the standards for women they've completely changed and they're so different and they're still incredibly detrimental to women right now but back then my Lord 19-year-old a spinster don't piss me off they don't know a bad [ __ ] when they see one I do in bed later pen decides I have had enough of these people I'm I'm going to glow up I'm going to find a husband and I'm going to bounce I do hate how she feels like she needs to change her look to achieve this but alas the Bridgeton girls make their way to the modist where Eloise and Pen have run into each other having their first fleshed like proper fleshed out convos since their fight L season pen say she only printed those horrible things about her and Lady whistle down to protect Eloise Eloise is having absolutely none of it and they par ways later that night is Lady D's Four Season ball and the queen looks stunning in this purple and gold Ensemble she has on by the way the queen has always pulled looks but this season just takes the cake the costume design I know it's not historically accurate or that's what I've heard on Tik Tok let me not let me not talk like I'm I'm citing some actual Source I heard it on Tik Tok that these costumes are not historically accurate this show isn't historically accurate accurate duh so it doesn't really matter but the looks are incredible the costume designers hats off to you my lady Penelope finally pulls up to this ball in this beautiful beautiful gown that just incredibly compliments her red hair and everybody in the room turns to look at her and that's what I'm talking about I love to see bad [ __ ] win it's what she deserves truly truly we soon have a couple of gentlemen they come up to her and they try to talk to her but this is something that she is not used to at all in fact like I I Honestly by the way she reacts I don't think this has ever happened to her so she's incredibly awkward she starts to babble which I think is so adorable and I feel like it would lower the guard it should lower the guard of the men talking to her but they look at her like she's some sort of psychotic witch and they leave on the other hand men are falling over Franchesca but she has zero interest in entertaining them and she goes to hide in a corner pen later runs into a lord who starts flirting with her and once again she gets so awkward and I feel so bad for her I don't know there's nothing wrong with being awkward people are different like not everyone has to be a smooth talker then I feel like the world would be a lot more boring than it is in my opinion now crusted his [ __ ] ass sees this and she's so jealous of pen for whatever reason she goes up to her and she rips her dress she stands on her dress and it rips Eloise Witnesses this and says nothing but thankfully Colin sees her run away and he chases her down now Colin catches up to her and Pen finally confronts him about what she heard him say about her last season about how he would dream of dating her and she says that she's aware that even though she has changed her whole entire look that she is still the laughing stock of the ton this is once again one of those moments where I truly truly have to suspend my belief cuz why what did she do that's so horribly embarrassing that makes her the laughing stock of the T like I don't get it I these ooh anyways while she's bearing her heart out to him Colin sees some guys pausing and he's like can we actually talk about this somewhere more private don't piss me off anyway she's like girl are you are you serious right now and she leaves rightfully so pen goes home and she decides to write her first piece as lady whistle down in a minute so the next day we catch up with cresa and Eloise and she calls Crest out on her behavior towards pen at the ball the other night thankfully she basically tells her that maybe you wouldn't have so much trouble finding friends and a man if you weren't such a colossal [ __ ] she doesn't say it in those exact words but that's that's basically the Crux of what she said Cresent actually she hears this and she takes it in and this is the first time we actually see some Humanity in this girl so later Colin goes to the featherington to apologize to pen and I can't even lie his words are really really sweet she forgives him and I I understand I understand why he then offers to help her find a husband by making her more Charming more approachable and she accepts soon the new lady whistle down article drops and we get this stunning shot of the queen in this gorgeous room in her castle is this Gilly all my West African brothers and sisters is this Gilly nah don't play with me right now do not play with me right now I'm obsessed I love this so much if this isn't Gilly it looks like it was inspired by it representation whatever it is it's it's stunning this get off Taz on is stunning this room is stunning this shot is stunning I love anyways lady whistle down literally calls the queen out and I love it we learned that she also called Colin out by name basically saying his new look and personality is for atttention oh that's so funny so now lady whistle down has attempted to ruin his sister's life his ex- fiance's life and now his life obviously these aren't huge things but it is very very embarrassing Colin is is livid uh-oh pen how you going to get out of this one in the second episode we begin with a narration of Lady whistle Down's latest piece she tells about how women like Kate managed to find amazing husbands even though the world saw them as spinsters back to this spinster conversation this is so funny to me because Kate was 26 I'm aware it was set in Regency Era boy back in the day I'm aware this was set in the 1800s but it's so crazy to think that people once thought like this to be fair the average life expectancy was what like 50 years old so I guess it makes sense why they saw 26-year-old being unmarried as a spener but that's crazy girl I'm 26 spinster gang where all my Spencers at shout out spinsters hey if you're a Spencer it's h Spencer gang in the com later charm class is in session with pen and Colin side note at this point I I was like hm the cogs were turning a little bit I feel like Penn's story I don't know if this is common knowledge actually let me not talk like I was saying like I'm revealing some sort of like Insider information but I feel like Penn story was kind of influenced by Cinderella I no this is has to be common knowledge it's been like this since the first season but like the evil stepsisters they are her sisters obviously but like Cinderella had stepsisters the evil stepmother it's like a matriarch there's no man around and sort of like to escape she essentially feels like she has to marry a man then we have a beautiful scene where porsa is interrogating her two wetted daughters about how often they engage in sexual activity with their husbands bam boundaries obviously I can't even say that because this family clearly has no boundaries and it seems like they're okay with it aside from pen it seems like they're all fine with having no boundaries so let me let me not speak for them we get our first call- in sex scene and I wasn't a fan like I said I don't find this character like Charming enough I like it's okay it's okay I don't have to like everything later call meet with pen for their next charm lesson this quality time together will so obviously create feelings in Colin's heart for her so can we for the love of God speed things up I'm so sorry I'm so impatient I'm such I need to work on that let me let me exercise some patience here okay later Colin invites pen over to the Bridgeton house for yet another charm sesh now obviously she's a little weary about this but he knows Eloise isn't home and she won't be home for a while so the coast is clear he me mentions that he does this because he remembers she used to love being at the Bridgeton house because obviously her and Pen were best friends for so long obviously her and Colin have been very close friends for ages so yeah he just remembers her feeling incredibly comfortable at the brigan home so he's like okay let's start doing our lessons here which is really cute of him I can't lie he is taking her thoughts and feelings into consideration which I think that's one of the best traits a man can have is like just consistently thinking about how you are feeling and trying to like make life a little bit easier for you very cute maybe he's growing on me yeah maybe he's growing on me just a little bit in this class Colin asks her to pretend that he is a random Suitor and he asks her to flirt with him she explains that she can't because of she doesn't say the this words but basically because of social anxiety and she explains it in this incredibly beautiful way which I really resonate with somehow my character gets lost between my heart and my mouth and I find myself saying the wrong thing or more likely nothing at all and to solve this Colin basically says girl just don't be nervous and it works that's not how life works I was on Lexapro for 5 years to learn how to be a normal person in society don't piss me off girl if you don't head down to the [ __ ] Apothecary and get yourself a concoction to soothe your anxiety I'm just playing I just find it so funny that he was basically like girl just don't be nervous just don't be sh shy and it worked that's so funny I wish life were that easy I really do anyway she actually starts to flirt with him and Colin's like wait a minute you're kind of fine he doesn't say it out loud but it's clear that it's what he's thinking and I will say this actor the actor who plays Colin is incredible the way he's able to convey such deep emotion in silence just by the Expressions on his face it it's quite mesmerizing to me like he's he's an incredible actor soon Eloise gets home early and Penn has to hide in colins's study where she finds his journal sitting on his desk and this girl proceeds to read it girl busy buddy ah basically the stories are about Colin's escapades during the summer just gone he was traveling around Europe in this journal what he was writing was essentially smut and O Colin Cates her he has a bit of a go at her and he cuts his hand on some broken glass Penn insists on wrapping it up and they have this really really cute intimate moment while she is doing that Colin and Eloise are on the way to this ball when Eloise questions why pen was at the house early because obviously he knows that they're not friends anymore so she's like why are you talking to her behind my back in my own home girl she tells him to not bring Pen over to the house anymore but it's very obvious that she still cares for pen she's just incredibly hurt by what she did the eligible bachelorettees once again present themselves to the queen in another room Colin convinces pen to speak to at least one Lord that evening so she can put her lessons into practice he gives her a little pep talk and off she goes to flirt with a viant go pen pen is a little awkward but she does amazing Eloise sees Penelope with her brother Colin and she ends up being super annoyed so much so that she ends up revealing to cresa her new evil best friend that Colin is helping Penn make herself more Charming in order to find an eligible Suitor we soon have a violin rendition of bts's dynamite playing in the background I hadn't heard that song maybe since last year and that made me go listen to it and I've been playing it on repeat ever since what a banger what a catchy song the song is playing in the background while the people of the ton prce around dancing in the ballroom Peli is still on her flirting Quest when she comes across a lord they bond over their love of Lady whistle down and he ends up asking her to hang out later by this interaction I thought he would play bigger role in the show but he like shows up one more time and then we like never see him again okay girl Coline rushes to her and Pen tells him the good news that she finally got asked out but soon they notice people are staring people are staring and pointing and laughing and Whispering they hear whispers about how Colin has been helping pen find a husband and this show is presented to be some sort of like pitiful embarrassing thing and I I just don't understand why pen storms out while the whole barroom laughs and gossips it's honestly so so sad what did this girl do to deserve this You' think she threw somebody's child in a volcano what is why are they treating her so poorly so both Colin and Eloise run after Penn and they kind of meet in the middle and Colin has a go at Eloise for telling people that he was helping her to find her husband even after he specifically told her not to later Franchesca is in one of the Queen's rooms playing the piano when the queen walks by very impressed this was a setup by Lady Dy side note quick little tangent I love lady Dy she's basically the queen I feel like she has like more power and she's more perceptive in this town than the queen it is to like to an extent if I didn't know that Penelope was Lady whistledown the next person I would have suspected would have been lady damre on the Queen's way out of the room where she um found Franchesca playing the piano she implies that Franchesca will be her new diamond and she no longer calls them diamonds she calls them sparklers long story she calls them sparklers now that's all you need to know the next day Eloise is reading the new lady whistle down article which details the happenings of the ball last night primarily the embarrassing [ __ ] that went down with Penelope this just shows that Penn can write sort of objectively like she is able to write what people expect her to write she's able to write embarrassing things about herself and that softens Eloise a little bit so Eloise has a go at cresa because she suspects that she was the one who spread the deal about Callin helping pen find a husband but cres is like girl I did not tell anybody when you told me that you were speaking quite loudly you didn't care to whisper you didn't care that it was a secret you did this by yourself girl here's where my heart breaks Porsche is incredibly cruel to Penelope after reading the article calling her foolish that she thought that she could actually find a husband furious at the featherington name is once again being dragged through the mud like I understand she's just trying to look out for herself and her family but why is she so mean you don't have to be so mean sorry your daughter wanted to find a husband after Society tells her that that is what she should aim for after Society tells her that's the only thing she's good for oh she like she's so dumb for thinking that please even though like she obviously has her severe issues you can tell that she is trying to sympathize with her daughter but like the bitchiness just cannot hold itself in later Colin goes to the featherington house to comfort his friend Penelope and Pen asks him for a kiss because she's so down she's so dejected she genuinely now believes that she will die alone she's going to die never having been kissed so yeah she asks him for a kiss I I feel bad that this is where it's come to and guiling someone into kissing you is weird it is really really strange I get how she is come to this point but girl come on self-respect let's look for it let's find it quickly quickly thank you it is a little strange very strange request but he obliges he kisses her she thanks him and she runs back into her house and this is when Colin realizes that he has feelings for Penelope so episode 3 begins in this passionate dream sequence with Colin and Penn making out and the way it's set up we're supposed to think that this is Penn's dream nope it's Collins the man is whipped and all it took was one kiss damn damn must been a good kiss okay so it is now abundantly clear that Franchesca is the what do we call it the sparkler of the season the Queen's chosen sparkler and the Queen and lady damur have already started playing Matchmaker later Eloise visits penel at the featherington house who has been confined to her bedroom for about a week because she's incredibly depressed about what happened to her at the Eloise apologizes as it was her fault that the rumors spread but she hasn't quite forgiven pen yet so Colin is on a walk later and he runs into pen and they have this super super awkward conversation under a weeping willow it's actually a really pretty really pretty shot peni tells him that she no longer wants to do these charm classes with him and that they probably shouldn't be seen with each other for a while until the gossiping sort of subsides obviously it's too save herself for their embarrassment but it's clear that Colin is quite disappointed it seems like he was looking forward to spending more quality time with Penelope so at yet another ball I think this is our third ball of the Season Penelope has decided I'm ready to reintroduce myself into society I'm done hiding I'm done crying in my room and Colin is pining this man is down horrendous later Eloise and Colin are talking and she's like I spoke to pen earlier and he's like oh my God what what did she say about me I was like I just AP apologize for spreading that rumor we weren't talking about you loses interest and walks away so that same Lord that Penn was talking to when cresa ripped her dress his name is Lord debling he comes into the corner that Penelope was hiding in in this ball to hide himself he's an incredibly rich man he's considered an eligible bachelor more or less but he is somewhat of a pariah because he is vegan and cares about animals I need this town to be so so serious ious so they gets a talking and pen is surprised when she learns that the Lord knows nothing about the embarrassment she just endured and it is because he is not only a social outcast but he's like the only person in Mayfair who does not read lady whistledown soon the conversation starts getting into flirtatious territory and things are not looking good for Mr Colin Bridgerton it's not looking good for CES either because she just decided that she wants to marry no she is going to marry Lord debling while she did see him talking with Penelope at the ball she does not see her as a threat at all later at this hotter balloon fair in town Penelope beckin calling over to inform him that things are finally looking up she has a lord interested in her she basically just thanks him because his lessons paid off meanwhile this man is thirsting over this woman this man is acting like he's he's acting like he's never seen a woman before and to say I love that for Penelope H cresa tries and fails to talk to him about balloons but they find common ground when he brings up the fact that he kind of feels like an outsider in his family and she can really relate because she doesn't get along with her family she sort of feels like an outcast in her own home and I'm pretty sure she's an only child so that's got to hurt while cred is having this conversation with the Lord he sees pen passing by and invites her to join the conversation obviously his attention is now shifted from cresa to pen and to save herself she desires bring up this random bird that she knows that he's spending a lot of money trying to conserve this man loves this bird so it completely takes his attention back to cresa it's so obvious what she's trying to do I cannot believe that he doesn't see it but anyways another important thing that happens with this ball is that the queen introduces her sparkler Franchesca to this Lord one of her Lord friends Lord sadani she's trying to match she's trying to match make the hot air balloon which is the main point of attraction at this fair is Hoist up in the airb accident because of prudence in her her man getting it on and Colin rallies a bunch of men to pull on the ropes and set the hot air balloon back down on the ground penel is like right in the way of this thing and she almost gets taken out by it thankfully Colin and his men around him save the day just in time the group chat's going off I want to gossip so bad I'm really Penelope through and through the Bridgeton family arrive at yet another ball that night and on their way their mom has a cute encounter with this beautiful man with a beautiful voice at the ball later we kind of get a glimpse into why chesa is the way that she is her mom is horrific and apparently so is her dad because her mom lets her know that like the dad is literally financially abusing okay let me not say that I mean it is financial abuse he's cutting their allowance in half because cresa is struggling to find a match oh my gosh pan and cesca's competition to win over the Lord continues and cresa wins this round by securing a dance side note that this little baby hair situation that penel has going on I don't know if she's had it in previous Seasons but I'm obsessed I think it's so cute Franchesca is chit chatting with Lord sadani when he casually drops the fact that he wants seven children girl be calm she could not get away from this man quicker Franchesca escapes to go get some fresh air outside and while she's standing by herself another man who was outside getting fresh air comes and stands next to her he comes over and introduces himself and is like can I just stand next to you can can we enjoy this fresh air together they have this really really really cute moment where they just stand in silence for a couple minutes enjoying each other's company enjoying the peace and quiet of the outside it's h it's so cute it's so cute I love them also face cards go crazy face cards go absolutely Bonkers yeah both of them I heard that some people on Tik Tok were saying that this isn't a good match because he isn't as attractive as her what do you mean by that why do you say that I think a lot of y'all need to come to terms with the fact that your beauty standards for people who are black are ridiculously high I'm going to need yall to unpack that by yourselves though all the way over there thank you Colin is once again surrounded by a group of women but this time he can't concentrate he is too fixated on Penelope meanwhile pen finds Lord debling who is getting Crest a drink and Pen reveals that she has been faking being a nature lover this whole time she says that she did this so he would find her more charming and more interesting and she goes was on this really quite beautiful monologue about her true self who she really is and he finds it charming and cresa watches from afar as her dreams are slipping slowly away all sad feeling rejected do I feel sorry for her no actually a little bit a little bit she's a product of her environment and she was raised in an incredibly shitty very very very privileged but still shitty environment Colin's mom lady Bridgeton finds him soon and there's this really cute moment between them where she realizes that Colin has fallen for his best friend it's very adorable she tries to give him advice but he's like oh no I'm fine I'm fine I don't need your advice and Colin soon finds Penelope and there's this really strange scene where it seems like he's simultaneously about to faint but also about to tell her that she's the love of his life like that's what that's what I got from that scene but the moment is cut short it's soon interrupted by Lord debling who ask Penelope for Dance everybody in the ballroom watches especially the girls they watch in shock as Lord dubling dances with Penelope while happier than ever by Billy ish violent Edition plays in the background and y'all do not know what that means to [Music] me I love this song this is my favorite song by Billy ish Shonda ryes did that for me she did that specifically for some random [ __ ] in Perth Australia yeah and I'm sure of it yeah also yeah I have heard her perform it live very very special moment top 10 moments for sure Colin is obviously sad watching them dance and before the episode in one of their living rooms one of their living rooms that's such a crazy thing to say anyways later at the Bridgeton household Franchesca gets a visitor while she was actually expecting Lord sadani to like call on her or whatever I think that's what they call it when they go on dates she gets a visitor it's not Laura sadani but it is that gentleman that she met when she was outside getting some fresh air the one that she stood in Silence with and had that really cute moment with he introduces himself as John Sterling and he is an Earl he's the Earl of kilm mar they go sit in silence together in the living room and then lur sadani finally shows up and the differences in their arrivals is so so funny Sterling waited until he was granted permission to enter he walked in calmly he introduced himself to Lady Bridgeton first and then started speaking to Franchesca just kind gentlemanly cool patient sadani wases in before they even say he can come in as if it's his home just loud as hell Lord K Martin he excuses himself because he feels like maybe he's inter Ed something side note the way he walks just then it reminds me of Captain halt rest in peace to Andre BR I yet another ball Porsche tries to get penned to stop reading books even though they're at a literal Library just so she can appear more appealing to Lord debling okay Lord debling comes and starts talking to her anyways while they are talking he catches Penelope admiring Colin awkward anywh who he brushes It Off and soon he starts speaking in hypotheticals to gauge whether or not Penelope would be open to accepting his hand in marriage a and while she is amazed and pleasantly surprised she's battling with whether or not she wants to say yes because obviously she still has these lingering feelings for Colin later on Franchesca and her mom are on a walk through the town where they run into Lord kilm Martin Franchesca is so cute this girl literally runs off to him he is like very clearly super awkward as well and and the conversation ends abruptly when she starts talking about music and how like there's this guy playing to music in the fear and she's like well it could be better he could change this and this and this and this it's like just horrible to listen to why did he write it like this and Lori Kil Martin just like legs it it's obvious to us as viewers that like he was going to do something like the man was clearly on a mission he's obviously not a rude person but this comes across to Franchesca as him not being interested in her Eloise later goes to visit cresa and her weird ass dad is like you're no longer allowed to see that bridan girl he barely even waits till Eloise leaves the room before he says that he is so rude elsewhere Colin is tweaking because he is tired of being a sled he's tired of being surrounded by his sledy friends who talk disrespectfully about wom he is ready to settle down something I haven't mentioned there are so many characters so many plot lines in this season some of them I don't talk about some of them just took way too long to build up and I feel like they took time time away from the stories that I was interested in it was a little too much for me personally but at the end of the day most of these story lines paid off so I can't really complain too much later on Lord debling leaves featherington home after asking Porsche for Penelope's hand in marriage and she says yes of course Porsha says yes cuz all this woman sees your dollar signs which fair enough once again Porsha just wants stability for her family she knows how hard it is for a woman in this Society I understand I still don't like meanwhile Penn is still grappling with whether or not she even wants to say yes to Lord dubling at yet another ball let's I can't complain too much about these balls cuz they're beautiful and they're fun to watch but damn y'all can't do anything I mean to be fair if I had the money to throw a ball every time something good happened to me I'd throw one what am I I can't complain but yeah we are at another ball the queen pulls up in This Magnificent outfit but her wig is insane it literally has these mechanical spinning swans on like lily pads I think the budget does not exist the wig budget simply does not exist I'd look at these wigs that she'd wear cuz her wigs are just like crazy like big and quite complicated I was watching this show and I felt bad for the acttion I was like oh my gosh I hope her neck is okay so later we find out that cresa did not care what her dad had to say about her still hanging out with Mrs Bridgeton Eloise in this scene I got an inkling that these two would end up together it doesn't doesn't end up happening but I really thought that they were setting something up I was mistaken being friends with Eloise has somehow managed to make cesa somewhat likable and that is something that I never thought I'd see so Lord kilm Martin shows up to the ball and we learn why he left so abruptly he basically ran to get that music that they were Hearing in the Square that Franchesco was complaining about he went to get it Rewritten so that it would sound like how she wanted it to sound in her head that is so cute it's at this stage that the queen realized is that her sparkler Franchesca has zero interest in her friend Lord sadani and she starts to freak Colin finally shows up to this ball super late his friends are literally leaving as he's entering he wasn't going to go cuz he was upset over Penelope uh whatever shows up to this ball late and then he interrupts the dance between Penelope and Lord debling the looks and Whispers start immediately obviously the two begin to dance and Colin's like you cannot marry him you barely know him and also Lord debling is leaving for 3 years as we learned earlier Pen's like no [ __ ] I'm aware I'm aware he's leaving I'm aware of all of this thank you ced's jobless ass slides in and starts dancing with Lord debling trying to plant seeds in his head and sabotage this proposal it works and soon he realizes that pen truly does have lingering feelings for Colin Bridgerton he proceeds to resend his proposal o pen gets super upset and she goes back home in her carriage but Colin chases after her and he finally finally professes his feelings for her Penn's like what huh anyways they hook up in the carriage while give me everything but Pitbull plays in the background it works it like the violin version works it's just funny knowing what the actual song sounds like like trying to imagine the actual song playing over the scene oh that would be that would be so F so when they reached the Bridgeton house Colin asked her for her hand in marriage that one got a tear out of me I can't lie it just it completely caught me by surprise and that is how the mid-season finale ends and I'm pissed because I thought by this point the whole Penelope being lady whistle down thing would have been brought up but he has proposed to her so it's going to be even more of a mess in the next half of the season and I know it's going to cause a huge Rift and like honestly I'm like I'm not looking forward to it but whatever let's just continue so the episode begins after Penelope has accepted Colin's proposal and honestly it is so cute three seasons in the making we love to see it they go in to tell the bridg and fam and everybody is over the moon aside from Eloise of course Penn says that she will tell him eventually she just needs like the right time to arise anywh who it's the morning after and one by one the citizens of Mayfair read the newest edition of Lady whistle down to learn of Penelope and Colin's engagement K and and Anthony also return into town I love seeing that girl's face and I miss her I miss their season oh my gosh anyways they come with a guest that guest being a bun inside of an oven yes Kate is pregnant later Eloise is complaining to Crest about how she feels like Penelope used her to get to her brother now that they're engaged she's like was it a a ruse this whole time was our friendship even real meanwhile chest shares that her parents are arranging a marriage for her to get married to an old ass man later at the featherington house Penn and porsa are having a verbal Jewel her mom is pissed because she found out about the engagement via lady whistled down as opposed to straight from Penelope's mouth Penelope literally got home after the engagement and she told nobody about it which understandably so they kind of like don't fully allow her to express herself so like why would she tell you are you really mad about that you really can't understand why use it use it pora continues to criticize and demean her daughter for choosing the wrong match and Colin walks in mid argument and he's like I love her and you're a vain [ __ ] he doesn't say it in those exact words but that's basically what he meant wow this is great I love that Colin is standing up for her I do need pen to hurry up and tell him cuz at this point I'm getting a headache I'm tired I am sick and tired of this it's giving me much anxiety so then Colin takes her to the Future Bridger home their future marital home it's so cute and beautiful I love how they just have like several homes just in Mayfair for them to use when they get married must be nice must be nice oh my gosh imagine not having to work for a house a whole ass beautiful ass house like this that's crazy anyways we get to the the future marital home cue one of the famous Bridger ton sex scenes so later Franchesca and Lord K Martin are on a little date and he asked her if marriage is something that she would be interested in and she says that it is it's so adorable but the way these people get married after one date is so funny to me pen and Colin are on their way back to the respective homes in Colin's Carriage when they see some of the King's Men sort of making an announcement and handing out letters to the town's people from the queen and it basically says if anybody is to find a hint that leads to the true identity of lady whistledown that they will be rewarded with 5,000 5,000 in the year 1800 to today is 524,000 Grand nah that's Madness that's actual Madness oh my gosh okay so here's the thing a couple more monetary units come up so there's 5,000 that comes up in this show we've done that 10,000 also comes up in this show just over a million dollars cool cool cool and then 20,000 pounds also comes up in the show that would be the equivalent of just over 2 million PB so that's fun that's really fun to think about oh my gosh that's so crazy that blows my mind the reward is equal to 500,000 that's actual Madness oh my God I can't think about that too much my head's going to explode later Colin informs Eloise of this as he knows how much she hates whistle down and cesa also thinks that finding whistle Down's identity could be her way out of marrying and she thinks that okay if I can find whistle down if I can get this money can move to Austria and start my new life Porsha is now a good mom suddenly magically anyways I guess she's always been a good mom she's just nicer to Penelope good is a stretch but she's just nicer to Penelope now and um her sisters are giving penelopy a hard time and for once she actually stands up for her daughter and it's like don't speak to your don't speak to your sister like that which amazing I'm so happy for pen thankfully someone in her family actually sees her and sees her feelings and cares about her feelings it's crazy how surprising pen is every time someone is nice to her like it makes me so sad so sad at pen and Colin's engagement party later Louise gives her until midnight to tell Colin about her Secret Identity or else she will and honestly I think it's so bold of pen to even show up to this engagement party without telling Colin first knowing that the entire town is out to get her is out to find out who she is anyways Franchesca is so cute she's trying to get her family and friends to get to know Lord Kil Martin a little bit better she prompts him to tell this story that she found really funny that he told her earlier and he's so shy and awkward he can barely get his words out I love him so much so during the engagement party Colin gives this really cute speech adorable adorable love the speech but the whole time I was so anxious it was so anxiety and doing for me because I was thinking somebody was going to somehow find her secret and just scream it while he was telling his speech the party moves to another room so that the host and the guests can play a game of Chads as they call it and anony is a little too into it surely a flower of some kind forget me not lilu he literally starts screaming and his brother asked to shush him I was cackling the only people who are good at this game are pen and Eloise which is so awkward but so funny later at the party Lord K Martin is able to finish that story that Franchesca wanted him to tell earlier it ends up being like a really cute story and ties back to how much he loves her G I love them so much I have to say this is my favorite couple in this season I love them together which if you've watched the entirety of this season you know what happens at the end that was a huge shock to me but we'll get we'll get to that while playing games the guests and the host start to make fun of Lady whistle down and we get a flash of the clock and we see that it's 50 minutes to midnight and Pen has still not told Colin Colin literally says that once lady whistle Down's identity is revealed that there is no hope of marriage for her which obviously freaks out penelopy pen honestly at this point just run away start a new life somewhere just run away you have the money I know you do so pen kind of starts to have a panic attack and she goes to hide in another room while she's collecting herself the guests are talking and CR is listening to their conversations about how being on Moss would Grant her Fame well more infamy but still it would Grant her money and also lady whistledown wouldn't have to get married once her true identity is revealed because no man would want anything to do with that pen is finally literally about to reveal her secret she comes back into the room when cresa gets up in front of the entirety of the Bridgeton houseold and their close friends and family to reveal that she is Lady whistle down and then Penelope faints so at the beginning of episode 6 word begins to spread about cresa being lady whistle down meanwhile the actual whistle down Penelope is on her bed trying to figure out what to write in her next column to fix the situation she's found herself in Colin comes over to make sure she's okay and to give her her engagement ring meanwhile Porsche's B meanwhile Porsche's basa buy ass is in the corner listening into their conversation pretending that she's fixing stuff in the room girl we know what you're doing when putting the ring on her finger Colin notices that she has ink all over her hands but she's like oh I was just I was just writing letters to my my friend and family to inform them of the engagement she's lying your honor later cr's parents are having a go at her guys I think I missed a really pretty sunset at uh Christ's home her parents are having a go at her primarily her dad because that old geriatric man that they wanted her to marry no longer wants her hand in marriage because of the whole lady whistle down to bacle oh no how will she ever cope her dad literally banishes her to live in Wales with her aunt and cresa does not want to go to Wales also she hates her aunt meanwhile her mom just tells her to resend her claim to being lady whistle down she essentially tells cresa that she knows it's not her because she's dumb and she knows she can't write the queen soon sends her men to get cesa and bring her into the palace ooh scary so later on there's this one scene that takes place in the Bridgeton house where the kids are fighting over box of macarons you love the pink I love the color PS I like the chocolate macarons and it's moments like these that I really really appreciate in this show they really take time to build these characters and their personalities and show just how differently they act when they're with their families as opposed to when they're you know with their love interests or their friends it just makes it feel like a more well-rounded show I can't help but compare it to a show like Pretty Little Liars great great show I love that show down I will forever love that show but the characters are pretty onedimensional like this person's a jock they're a nerd so they're a jock when they're at home they're a jock when they're with their friends they're a jock when they're with the people they date like there's no depth to their characters it's just a flat 2D surface so it makes the fact that they are a family way more believable I just really liked it I thought it was a cute moment and I love little moments like these that are spread out through the show I wish I had a healthy family unit like this must be nice must be nice so soon enough John Sterling and Franchesca announced that they will be getting married soon I won I won thank you Shanda R back at the featherington house Penelope is still on her Zoom she is still trying to figure out how to fix this situation now that the whole ton thinks that cresa of all people is lady featherington so she she's still writing notes and drops and like throwing them away and rewriting and rewriting and rewriting at this point I also noticed that her name is pen and she's a writer I think that's very cute soon Eloise joins her and surprisingly tells her not to tell Colin she realizes that it's just going to eventuate in a [ __ ] show it's just going to end up hurting Colin and it's not going to help anybody so she tells her to keep her secret surprisingly Penn is being really stubborn and she's like I worked way too hard to build my reputation build this essentially this writing career for cresa to just take credit for the whole thing cresa of all people no I mean I understand her point of view but still like you are in a really tough situation you've put yourself not only yourself but you've put like your loved ones in a really like tough situation so maybe listen to Eloise I don't know Eloise is truly the voice of reason she can be a little bit Pik Misha a little bit like a not like other girls I like to read I don't like vapid conversation girl I love vapid conversation and I love to read yes we exist at this point I'm just kind of pissed at Penelope I'm like do you want Colin to know or not make up your mind quickly at the palace cresca is confronted by the queen as to why she chose to come forward now cresa is basically like babes run me that 5,000 AKA 500,000 in today's day and age crazy and the queen agrees she's like okay I will give you the reward money but I need your latest issue in my hand right now which cresa obviously doesn't have yet cresa leaves and she's now convinced that she can make a convincing lady whistle down article Lord help us all later at the featherington Porsche is speaking to Penelope when we get this horrific line that made me want to gouge my eyes out ladies do not have dreams they have husbands once again I understand where Porche is coming from I understand that back in the day things were different but I'm sorry she's a little bit of a loser loser like I understand and she is a product of her time I don't care can I just say Benedict and Tilly I literally have not mentioned them at all in this video because they are my least favorite storyline of this season blor ring snooze it gets a lot more interesting later but we'll talk about it when it gets interesting but at this point I was literally so pissed I was like get off my screen I was like where is the story line going it eventuates into something but it took way too damn long to get there after wedding announcements at a chapel when day cresa sneaks out of her home sneaks this is what she wore by the way anyway she sneaks out to ask Eloise if she will help her write this lady whistle down article which I can't believe she thought Eloise would help her considering she just revealed herself to be lady whistle down this just results in a fight and a friendship breakup so later Penelope is at the modist and she's speaking to the lady who runs at Genevie who is a recurring character and she seems to be one of Penelope's close friends she's talking to her about how she plans to give up writing lady whistle down Genevie as a working woman herself is you know she's clearly a little bit disappointed but she doesn't communicate this to pen because obviously pen is her own person and she can decide what she wants to do with her life CR is later at home drafting up her piece while listening to her father yell about how he got dropped how he got dropped from his country club and this causes him to pull her DIY anyways her mom encourages her to keep writing so they can get this £5,000 and use it as a replacement for this DIY okay so we're back with Benedict and his gal and things have finally gotten a little bit more interesting the girl he's seeing Tilly introduces Benedict to one of her dear friends his name is Paul and it's giving challenges a little bit I don't know I would like to see it who said that I did I would like to see it at another ball the queen arrives and she wants to be 210 Rihanna so bad this Wing is actually really beautiful I love it I love anything the queen pulls up in I love later we learned that lady Danbury was almost married when she was younger but apparently her brother who has been in town this whole season I haven't really talked about him I mentioned him earlier his name is Lord Anderson and he's been showing interest in lady Bridgeton we learned that lady D's brother sold her out to her dad when she was about to run away from home and be with the love of her life this foiled her plans and she's essentially been alone ever since and she still holds resentment towards him because of that back with art and patch trick flirtation starts to build but only a little bit then later Benedict catches Paul and Tilly making out and they ask him if he wants to join them he's like he kind of freaks out a little bit and runs away it seems like he probably just needed a minute back at the ball crusta and her mother arrive and they look delicious they look like deliciously evil villains I love these outfits man miss cresa loves a bow and a tight ponytail hold on is JoJo siwa a Reincarnation of cesa cper so everyone is shocked that they even dared to show up most especially the queen soon we see that cresa brought with her a new Mini edition of Lady whistle down it's literally only one paragraph she starts to hand it out and everybody is gagged it wasn't that great come on unfortunately for cresa though this is not enough for the queen to Grant her that 5,000 reward also sorry if I've been using sorry I'm not Canadian I don't know why I just said it like that sorry if I've been using pounds and dollars interchangeably throughout this video I I don't think I have but if I have I'm sorry it's it's unintentional the little mini article is just not enough for the queen to give cresa the reward so the Queen's like give me the full article by tomorrow morning then you'll get your money Penn is looking at everyone flaing over the fake whistle down and her and Eloise have a collective panic attack before hurriedly leaving pen tells her to chill because really all she needs to do is publish one more time in order to discredit Crest Eloise agrees surprisingly and she tells her they need to hurry up and publish before Crest does pen puts on her black hoodie and submits a new column that night as she hand off the letter to be printed Colin walks out of the Shadows shocked at what he just saw in episode 7 Colin is pissed he gives her a piece of his mind and he's like I will never forgive you and I'm cackling at these Carriage men just chilling these people must have so much tea I feel like aside from Lady Danbury my next guess for the person that would be lady whistledown would be people like this who kind of just lurk in the shadows who are expected to say nothing to be fair I assume that they're paid for discretion to an extent which is why they can hook up so really nilly in their characters the next morning the ton reads the newest issue of Lady whistle down while cresa and her mother have the biggest grins on their faces unfortunately her issue came out before pens did her issue it's not bad it's not nearly as bad as I was expecting but it's just lazy and gossipy you can tell the passion's not there she accuses lady Bridgeton of having kids from multiple men she's like why does she have so many kids are we sure it's from the same man girl what soon enough the real lady whistle down issue is distributed and cres is off F attempt to impersonate her is made glaringly obvious she reads cresa for Filth and she is once again an embarrassment to the town that's what she gets she is officially banished to Wales by her daddy raise your hand if you care I I see no hands raised sorry boo you brought this on yourself I'm kidding I really do feel bad for cresa especially because she's moving to Wales and her aunt sucks but like if she was a little bit nicer I feel like like she could have gotten out of the situation but you know you make your bed you got to lay in it Eloise and Pen are later on a walk when pen tells her that Colin found out obviously Ella is scared because Colin will know that she knew this whole time and didn't tell him at the Bridgeton house Colin confronts her and she's like listen I was way too heartbroken to tell you I was too heartbroken to tell anybody and thankfully Colin understands that she was put in a really tough position it seems like he's not as mad at her as she thought is honestly I thought I thought it would blow up into this huge thing thankfully it didn't I hate when things like that happen sometimes secrets are not other people's to tell that's a Trope that's commonly used in television someone finds out a secret about somebody else that has to do with somebody that they're both close to and the person they're both close to find out and then the person who find out the secret they get in trouble by the person who who secret okay you get what I mean I I'm not doing that later pen and Colin are with Penn's mother and Lady Bridgeton and they are still guiltily wedding I I did not expect for the wedding to continue but it seems like it is Colin says that he is a man of Honor so he will continue with this vow he made but it's very clear that he kind of hates her now um he calls what she did an entrapment girl get over yourself do you not remember begging you don't remember the begging you did you don't remember begging her to leave Lord um um Lord debling for you don't piss me off and trap me meant okay you begged her you're a beggar yes what pen did was horrible but I'm so sorry she captivated the town plus her writing is incredible I think to reduce everything she did and everything she built to Pure malice is a little bit lazy like let's think a little bit you've been best friends with Penelope for years you know what she's truly like to be fair he just found out this huge huge huge secret about somebody that hurt himself his family his loved ones he's angry he he has the right to be angry let me chill let me chill I'm sorry I'm sorry I cannot help compare this to when Serena sorry to bring up Gossip Girl again but when Serena found out that Dan was Gossip Girl she did not give a [ __ ] it's just so funny so like the difference is hilarious later Tilly invites Benedict over so she can explain what happened earlier she essentially says that Paul kind of caught a Vibe between himself and Benedict and she apologizes if they overstepped she's like if you don't want to continue with that whole thing let's just let's just do our thing later at the Bridgeton household Lord Anderson uh lady danbury's brother comes over to ask lady Bridgeton to save him a dance at the next ball and she gets so flustered she obviously likes him they're really cute and she's like you know what there's a lot going on with my family right now let me sort out my family stuff and I know that you need to sort out your family stuff let's both sort our stuff out first then we can think about like dating or courting at cr's house we find out that it was mostly her mother who had a hand in writing that horrible article the horrible fake lady whistled down article bis merching sorry I love that word I I learned about that word in one of my favorite movies game night if you haven't if you haven't seen game night go watch Game Night Jason baitman incredible one of the best comedies I've ever seen go watch it anyways she was mostly the one who had a hand in writing that horrible article um besmirching the Bridgeton name and furthermore she is letting her daughter take the fall for it unbelievable unbelievable the only friend Crest basically ever had is gone because of this her reputation ruined because of this crazy the night before the wedding pen goes to the Modis to have a drink with Genevie and it seems like she isn't quite ready to give up lady Bissell down yet on her way out she runs into Colin how small is this town I'm so sorry they're constantly running into each other she runs into Colin who accuses her of doing Secret dealings in the night and he starts yelling at her which he's done a couple times in this season and I don't like that first of all how dare you this is supposed to be her alleged love interest I'm aware she's done some like bad stuff that doesn't Warren you yelling at her don't yell at her especially because like penal is so small and you like this domineering figure just like speaking down to her and yelling at her I don't like that I don't like that at all watch your tone so pen tries to explain why she published certain things she thought that they were good ideas at the time she thought that she was protecting her loved ones she didn't make the smartest decisions obvious obviously but those things she published they weren't completely out of malice she's essentially like a backfired and she realizes it was stupid it doesn't fully justify what she did but I am so sorry I am a Penelope featherington apologist and I always will sorry Colin is making this whole thing about himself and it's kind of pissing me off I let you talk so much about my journal as if I were to be this great writer when all this time you have been a published writer renowned across MAA anyways they somehow end up making out question mark and Colin goes back home and we get yet another Kate and Anthony appearance the three sit down Kate Anthony and Colin sit down and the married couple demands to know what the hell is going on between Colin and his fiance the advice they give to him is such common sense and the way he reacts to it it's like he didn't think of that which is crazy but to be fair he was blinded by anger I get it whatever back to the whole lady dambury Lord Anderson situation we learned that she is mad at him for something he did when he was 10 years old yes he dobbed on her to their father causing her to lose the lover her life when he was 10 bro he was clearly just scared of losing his sister he didn't want you to leave he was 10 anyways she accepts his apology they make up soon we find out that the queen is back on her find Lady whistle down mission she has the people of town lining up to tell her the clues that they think they found and the scene cuts off when it looks like the queen has had an epiphany the wedding of Colin and Penelope begins Penelope looks wonderful as always and Colin seems to have somewhat forgiven her it's the same with Eloise it seems like her and Pen are back on good terms again so the couple says their OS and they're joined together as one guys look at the size of this [ __ ] cake I'm sorry what is everyone in London going to get a piece however comma it does match the walls and I'm kind of obsessed with it I love when things match for once Penelope sisters say nice things about her I love that for her but I hate that it took her getting married to finally start being nice to her I don't like that I don't like that so Colin and Pen have their first dance and it's to Taylor Swifts you belong with me all of a sudden the queen trots in and demand the Music Stops and everybody except for the Brians leave the room and Penelope literally turns around to start leaving which is so funny girl it's literally your wedding day you are no longer a featherington you are a Bridgeton Colin stops her before she leaves she's like girl you you have my last name now stay in the room the Queen's like one of you has a secret and I need you to come forward now crazy that she interrupted a wedding for this you can wait till after girl really don't you have a country to run I know she's the queen but this this woman has some real jobless Tendencies Franchesca steps forward and reveals her engagement to Lord kilm Martin but the Queen's like girl I know like I know you were never interested in Laur sod this is not what I'm talking about I know the real lady whistle down is amongst you so step forward honestly at this point pen just needs to come forward because the more she prolongs this the more people get hurt and now the bridet and family are directly in the Queen's mouth regarding this whole lady whistle down situation so she needs to hurry up this woman really interrupted a wedding over Gossip Girl I'm sorry I can I cannot get over that that's crazy so Colin and Penner talking later he thinks that she should take this as a sign to stop writing the column as the queen is bound to find out eventually pen is like I worked too hard for this this column is much too important to me but Colin just can't accept that understandably cuz now his family is in Jeopardy but I feel like he is not completely mad for the right reasons he tells her that he will be sleeping on the sofa tonight and leaves their wedding night crazy Eloise is nearby thankfully to comfort her and um she gives her a hug and I'm so glad that she finally has her friend back towards the end of the episode Benedict finds his way to Tilly's House to accept the little three-way thing that Tilly and Paul suggested to him earlier we won cresa is now going around printing shops to see if she can collect a payment from her addition of Lady whistle down so at least hopefully she can use this as a dowy or to escape to Vienna whichever one she decides to do one of the co-workers there is a little confused the guy's like yeah yeah my ex- boss new lady whistled down and he described her as a redhead cred is like oh really tell me more so the episode begins and Colin is still keeping his distance from pen press shows up newly with the knowledge that pen is Lady whistled down and she has come to extort money from her she starts by revealing it to porsa as a little taster for Penn then she Wes away yes I'm going to bleep that out that was too much honestly at this point in the season I just felt like all the characters were just so insufferable like everyone was just getting on my nerves I'm just like I'm so sorry I'm ready for the season to end I'm so did I say that yeah I did I was ready for the season to end later lady Bridgeton is having tea with Franchesca and Lord Kil Martin when they start getting dirty looks from people passing by because of the Queen's accusations and man this family cannot catch a break as for the wedding plans a couple reveals that they want to have a super small intimate wedding at the Bridgeton house and then they're going to run away to Scotland to live in Lord kilm Martin family's estate because they just do not want to have to deal with any more of the queen Shenanigans they they no longer want to be involved and that's so me oh my gosh I love them so much I can relate to so many characters in this season they're so me I value my peace if you're stressing me out I will exit the situation I want nothing to do with it I'm a lever I will leave later pen arrives at the Bridgeton house with her mother to speak to Colin and Eloise she tells him that cresa knows everything and is attempting to blackmail her Colin immediately takes over and starts talking over pen like he tends to do and he's like it's not up to you what we do girl it literally is I mean I'm honestly like I'm a little torn I don't think that he should be speaking over her but this is her situation to resolve to let her resolve it or at least let her take part in the conversation damn back up Pen's like guys it's fine I'd rather just pay her than make this turn into more of a bigger thing than it needs to be and everyone in the room's like hold on you can pay her you can pay her the 5,000 and she's like yeah I've made about that much plus more from doing my little lady whistle down thing and I love that for her I love that for her people continue will continue to underestimate this girl when will it end I made a mistake cresa asked for 10,000 now like I said earlier £10,000 that's over a million pounds in today's currency Penelope made over a million pounds being lady whistle down over the course of 3 years that is ridiculous once again everybody's speaking over pen and trying to make this decision for her granted whatever decision she makes will now affect the bridgesan family but if anyone knows how to deal with cr's nastiness it's going to be Penelope maybe Eloise definitely not Colin he needs to sit down TBH if I rep pen I would have left his ass I don't have the patience for this later Colin shows up to cesca's house to confront her and he speaks to her with more grace than he speaks to Penelope with sometimes and that ticked me off he tries to get her to sympathize with pen and goes on this whole speech about how pen was lonely and mistreated when she was writing these things he's like cresa if you stop this now the town will forgive you and your father will forgive you and welcome you back with open arms and if if Colin actually knew her father he would know that that is not the case baby that man is a monster she tells him that unfortunately her family is not as supportive as his and basically tells him he's speaking from a place of privilege and she decides to raise the price of the blackmail money to 20,000 and now Penelope has to right to restore crest's reputation in the next edition of Lady whistle down good job Colin everybody clap for Colin great job Colin at the featherington housekeeper is struggling to keep that solicitor oh my gosh I don't know if I talked about the solicitor oh my gosh okay so basically there's this solicitor that knows that por featherington was lying about where the family got their money because in the last season her nephew came to town stole a bunch of money from the people and she took it from him and then the nephew ran away but she told everyone that he ran away with the money but that's that's the money like she this is the money the solicitor is aware that their money wasn't honestly gotten but it's like leave them alone bro the people in this town are rich enough if this money doesn't stay with the featherington it's just going to go to another Rich family it's not like they're going to spread it to the poor people of London no it's going to to stay within this little Rich bubble of Mayfair I hate this man he's so annoying and smug ooh look if Porsha has zero haters I dead but this man is insufferable go away so he has now found proof that Porsha lied and will be submitting it to the court that week and at this moment pen walks in and discovers that she lied they fight and Porsche gives this I'm the victim speech that's enough from you Porsha Zip It Anyways Penn does feel for her that girl's better than me it's the day of Fran and John's wedding and her dress is incredible it's a wonderful little ceremony at their home and they say their ID do but when they kiss you can tell that it's not what Franchesca was expecting maybe she doesn't feel anything there's something there or maybe there's a lack of something there side note I know we love to joke about how Shonda Rimes loves an interracial couple but damn listen it's funny I'm not complaining it's just I'm not complaining it's cute it's cute lord Anderson and violet lady Bridgton are talking after the wedding and he asks her if she'll save him a dance at the next ball and she gets so nervous she starts stuttering and it's really cute because she just told Franchesca a story about how when she first met Francesca's dad her first husband she was so infatuated that she could barely get her words out and the same thing is happening again soon pen pulls Callin to talk privately and tells him not to tried to lie to his brother to get that 2,000 blackmail money like he was planning P finally puts into words what I've been feeling all season he needs to stop trying to help he needs to stop trying to fix everything and just love her cuz that's all she wants and that's all she needs and it seems like Penelope has a plan she immediately gets on her zoom and she begins to write meanwhile cesca's Aunt finally arrives to take her to Wales and oh my goodness she is somehow worse than everybody we have already met in this family Ty litter tells Benedict that she's catching feelings for him and wants to take things more seriously like with Paul he's just a friend like their thing is just casual but she actually has feelings for Benedict which I'm struggling to believe that cuz sorry Benedict is quite Plain Jane to me he I find him quite boring like he hasn't showed me anything worth fawning over yeah I'm being a hater I drank a sip of hater ra just now that's just how I feel anyways Benedict is like I like you I like what we're doing but I just don't want anything serious right now you and Paul have literally opened my world and I'm literally just starting to explore so I don't want anything serious right now and yeah that's understandable later we see that B1 and B2 have thrown a ball and it's like a little bit tacky like there's something about these pillars that I'm not a fan of but like everything else is kind of like amazing and incredible and grand and I'm kind of obsessed we soon learned that pen actually was the one who paid for this whole thing but she gave the credit to her mom which is really cute I feel like that shows that both parties have kind of forgiven each other for what they view as their wrongdoings and yeah they're a more cohesive family unit now while I don't believe that people can change this quickly and this easily it's really beautiful to see so the ball begins The Vibes are great the violinists are wearing wigs and everybody's having a blast then the queen Walts is in as she does she tells Theon that lady whistle down sends her a letter asking her for Mercy asking her if she can plead her case to the public before getting judged or before getting a punishment from the queen she then points to Penelope reveals her as lady whistle down and gives her the floor to speak for herself pen talks about how she would write in secret because nobody took her seriously she was lonely she wrote about them not because she hated them she wrote about them because she was genuinely interested in their lives but she also says she is aware that that power ended up going to her head and she didn't make the best decisions she credits the queen during her speech for finding her even though she didn't but that was a very smart move on her part because that obviously softens the queen this woman is all about appearances all about making herself appear to be the smartest person in the room to be absolutely fair I think the queen loved this yearslong sort of duel that she had with lady whistledown I think it added interest it added Intrigue into her life and I don't think she would have ever punished penella but I think this was the best outcome so like kudos to Penelope for thinking this whole thing up the ton respects her now I hate that it took her completely changing her look her marrying one of the most respected most eligible bachelors in London her being revealed to be this incredible writer for them to see her for them to respect her I think that's freaking crazy Penelope's happy so I'm going to I'm going to chill Porsha and Pen have this cute little moment where pen thanks her for supporting her and she reveals that now that everyone knows she's whistled down they can tell the solicitor that the money came from Penn's writing so yeah they're no longer in trouble penal later tells Colin that if he wants to request an analment that she will be fine with it but Colin says that he is finally accepted that whistle down is a part of her this whole time he's been trying to separate them too but my now wife is a literary genius I need to stop trying to stifle her creativity and he reveals that a part of him was jealous because he too was a buding like he was jealous of all her success and he's been trying to write a manuscript this whole season he's explaining why he did and said some of the stuff that he did it did in part rise from jealousy G that leaves a bad taste in my mouth but at least he acknowledges it at least he is self-aware ladies be careful because men will literally try to ruin your self-confidence and your life over jealousy over Envy so please be careful with who you choose to bring into your life it's never that serious men are really not all that in a bag of chips anywh who they finally make up for real this time and elsewhere Eloise asks John and Franchesca if she can come along with them to Scotland because she just needs to break from it all she wants to explore she wants to live the newly married couple agree and this is my favorite part of this entire season and it makes me so excited for the next season I hope they deal with us in the next season surely they will John introduces his cousin Michaela who has come from Scotland to help them move Franchesca has a crush on Michaela there's a look in Francesca's eyes and just like knowing that at their wedding Franchesca was disappointed by their kiss clearly there's something missing there clearly there wasn't like the attraction there and it seems like she found the attraction in Michaela I am so excited to see where the story line goes but I feel so bad for John cuz he's such a sweetheart he's like the sweetest boy oh my gosh next season's going to be so messy but I'm so excited for it the season ends as the featherington daughters have all given birth and I mean all Phil it and prudence both gave birth to girls while Penelope gave birth to a bouncing baby boy who is the new Lord featherington now the Blended featherington and Bridgeton families are having a day together while lady whistle Dan narrates reintroducing herself as Penelope Bridgeton so yeah um I got to wrap this up I got a date it's not really a date I'm just hanging out with somebody anyways that was this season so many cute moments so much drama so many too many characters too many subplots for me personally I haven't rewatched the past Bridgeton series since they first came out but I don't remember there are being this many subplots and for the next season I really hope that there isn't I want us to focus on like three couples Max please I cannot deal with this again here's the thing if the story lines were more interesting from the jump like with Benedict and Tilly I would have been more invested it was just so slow and it interrupted really vital really important moments in this show and I was just like why am I here why am I back to these two again yes it paid off in the end but it was still slow and boring and I wish they did it differently whatever that's neither here nor there that's none of my business I could not write a show this good Colin is a leading man this season it fell a little flat for me just because like I said earlier he doesn't have that Charisma like the first two men had but maybe that's why the writers thought they had to have so many subplots to keep the viewers engaged anyways it was a really cute season I'm so glad that Penelope finally finally has her happy ending I'm so glad that she is finally seen I love gorgeous stories like these that really dive into characters that's what I really appreciate about Bridget 10 is that they have so so many characters but each of them have almost almost all of them have compelling personalities but yeah that is my Bridgeton video I hope you liked it if there are
