in the anguish and the discipline to study and prepare and be ready is always a challenge early stuff like television and I'm a news guy anyway you can't do all of that and do all of that in the back of my mind was this month our ministry is dealing with doctrine and I'm in the weather of Ibiza the Prophet I'm tackling doctrine and so I did that today but from last week leaving coming in to Nigeria this message began to emerge in my spirit for to have a neckl of grace began to emerge and it makes a lot of sense I mean Matthew chapter 26 verse 6 I have long scripture readings they are all necessary and then I have a small table that we walk through the table is to identify certain things and then I'll preach to you now when Jesus was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper there came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment and poured it on his head as he sat at meat but when his disciples saw it they had indignation saying to what purpose is this waste but this point may have been sold for much and given to the poor and when Jesus understood it not when he heard it not when he heard it when he understood it he then spoke that's the sign in the hallmark of maturity he didn't respond when he heard he understood then he responded and he said unto them why trouble you the woman for she has wrought a good work upon me the poor you have always with you but me you have not always for in that she has taught this ointment on my body because by now the ointment had run from the head all the way down to his body she did it for my burial Sirocco so I say unto you wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world including today what this woman has done it shall be taught for a memorial of mark 14 verse 3 marker 14 verse 3 apostasy Imam here and being in Bethany in the house of signing the letter leper as he sat at meats they came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard Matthew doesn't say spike not mark says spikenard very precious and she breaks the box Matthew doesn't say she break it mark says she break the box and poured it on his head and they came some indignation within themselves and said why was this waste of ointment made or this might have been sold and they give the value for three hundred pence and could have been given to the poor and they murmured against her John 12 verse one then six days before the Passover Jesus was in Bethany where Lazarus which was dead whom he raised from the dead there they made him a supper and Martha served the next word is but it doesn't say Lazarus was one of them that said of the table he says but Lazarus there's a reason for that beauty but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him then Mary then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard very costly and anointed the feet of Jesus so this now is a separate event these three stories are three separate anointings they are not the same the first one poured oil on his head the second one pour the oil in his head that ran down his body this one is falling head on his feet and wiped his feet with her hair and the house was filled with the odor of ointment then says one of the disciples watch this Judas Iscariot Simon's son Simon the leper Simon the leper Judas was his son that explains why Judas was Musa his father was contaminated so from the root Judas was contaminated Judas was a leper from within and he said why was not the soul for three hundred Pence given to the poor that he kept the bag Bible says he was a thief etcetera etc father help me in the next 40 minutes to deliver a message of grace to this incredible apostle and his flock Jesus name last year around about somewhere around Africa day each time I started having a bit of a stomach pain right here and I thought it was acid reflux and so I began to temper some of the things I eat the kind of schedule I keep traveling and being on the road I watch how many pastors in the evenings after church after conferences they call themselves with food potatoes meats and knit so unhealthy and so I had just determined for a number of years now that I don't eat after 10:00 I do not eat desserts almost practically or sugar I don't do fizzy drinks I still run a lot and and so I was on blood pressure medicine the Nigerians of course that then in in vari papaya and his bunch they just stressed me out so much a mist of Lights and then they had to erase me from worry too been in city driving like Nigerians at 160 hundred and seventy to get me to worry when I got to worry my head was spinning and then I I learned I had an issue that was blood pressure and they put me on losartan and something else to regulate the blood pressure unfortunately I was misbehaving because all my life have been a one meal a day person I only eat in the evenings I've never been a breakfast person she loves her breakfast she loves her lunch she loves the morning snack she loves our afternoon snack Cheech loves a second supper cheese loves a midnight snack I mean the whole family the velakis family they love that's their pastime but you know I grew up I just AM a one meal a day person but I was very naughty because I was taking these medications without food and I learned that the pain in my stomach was not acid reflux I later learned that I had some stomach ulcers and I also studied the Pearl my doctors here and he can correct me if I'm wrong they are pearls that are given that will say if this gives you relief for eight hours or 12 hours and the way apple is made you know cassava is a major industry that I hope that Zimbabwe would catch on instead of jatropha give me a break somebody has really trippin is that about jatropha but cassava is a major industry Malaysia is now almost taken over the cassava industry because of starch and the tablet the tablet ministry the tablet industry is a multi multi-billion dollar industry and the core of that be starch and so the way the starch works they're placed the medication in layers and they have a softer outer shell of starch towards a harder call and that melts down according to a timer and so you can immediate relief and then as the starch breaks down you get a 3-hour relief and then finally it breaks down to where you can get an eight-hour relief and so there are times when God in the middle of your test and your trial will give you a pill and you get immediate relief but then pain kicks in again you have to wait for the activation in your tummy for the next stage of relief so don't worry the relief is coming in your life weeping may endure for a night but what God has given you as an anti jokes will kick in chant you never say get ready for the kick in and so I understand that a little bit more there are things that you should be doing but you have to take it with food and most of the food we have to take is a long deep dosage of the word of God because it's the bread of life and so anytime you are feeling down or sick but with whatever ailment you have to take a lot of food and that's the Word of God man does not live by bread alone but by preceding words that constantly comes out of the mouth of God there's the written word but there's preceding words that's coming out of the mouth of God the mouth of God is creative God said and so we have to then work with preceding words that's the antidote so in the story that we read we have a number of players there's a lot of moving parts let me separate the moving parts firstly the types of ointment that we see the ointments that were very precious here we'll break those down consisted of mer mer is healing when Jesus came into the world guys from the East moved in very quickly the Chinese moved in very quickly they came in brought Jesus gifts and they brought him frankincense and gold and they received the myrrh frankincense and Gold myrrh is noted for its healing qualities so they received the myrrh on his behalf because here you have God in the flesh on earth in a sinful environment and the pain of living in a simple environments had to be tempered with myrrh because a sinless gods in a sinful world causes much pain a God who is walking in his likeness and in his image in the earth to see his likeness and image destroyed causes a lot of pain and so ma was given which they received to help him temper the pain of human suffering when Jesus is on the way to the cross to die the Bible says they were multitudes that followed him and Luke says and the women so there's a differentiation between multitudes that had women but there is a selective group of women that were weeping and they gave him a drink that had myrrh in it to deaden the pain because he'd been beaten he had been assaulted he'd been worked to an inch of his life he'd been abused and Jesus refused the man when he was a baby they received it so he could endure the pain of human suffering but now he refused the myrrh because he wants you to feel every pain of human suffering they want you to feel what you feel he wanted to be where you are he wants you to carry every sickness from tuberculosis to cancers he want you to feel everything that human beings feel and he said to the women he said I cannot drink this I have to go all the way citizen brothers when Jesus fell carrying his cross he didn't fall because the cross was heavy he felt because of the sin that had pushed him to the ground Jesus was a man of men in total oh my god he worked with wood all his life that cross wasn't heavy he could carry that cross but what dropped him on the floor was the sins of the world from Adam to the last human being that will grace this earth all of those sins all of those classes all of the penalties upon mankind fell upon him and that's what put him on the floor three times and they grabbed an African man to carry his cross for him Simon from Cyrene II Jesus was so strong enough sister and brothers to be nailed to the cross shedding that blood and spoke seven times he was very strong and so he refused the myrrh that was one point meant there's another point minh that we've made in exodus pity it's the anointing oil that consists of five things exodus 3023 number one pure myrrh maybe it appears again number two sweet calamus number three cassia and before sweet cinnamon and lastly him that's a gallon of olive oil and he had to be made according to the art of the apothecary so all of these five ingredients which fivefold ministry the ministry of grace and so on and so forth an ordinary person couldn't just pour pour pour they had to be exact measurements and they had to have somebody that had gone through an apprenticeship as a perfume maker in the school of apothecary which is somebody that has a trained sense of smell which is discernment to discern teach and I were in Monte Carlo a few years ago for one of our anniversaries and we took a side trip and went into the mountains in France to where they make perfumes and they were showing us our perfumes are made and I had a chance to mix my own perfume and it's called the tutor the tutor brand and then chichi came out with us chichi brand and we mixed her own you know it was fun doing it and I'm more of a soup kind of a guy more floral than a more musky perfume which is hardcore and so I mixed mine and came very close to what I'm accustomed I have used the same cologne for many many years and they showed us the apprenticeship for perfume making is 21 years yes it's not just like taking roses and petals and you are spraying and lemon juice Joshua no the reason the reason perfumes are so expensive it's not just the mixture it's paying back 21 years of training so this girl that comes with this perfume of very precious ointment she comes with an ointment that's incredible Solomon talks about the fly in the ointment that can hinder the force and the poignancy of anointment it will not be so in this church your ointment will be very very very fresh I need a strong amen I need another Amen now Jesus goes to Simon the lepers house the reason for that it was Judas Judas was Simon son Simon wanted an audience with Jesus Simon assumed that if Jesus came to his house he'd be healed of his leprosy because Jesus had healed several lepers he had healed ten a Samaritan came back and said thank you so now Judas who is very calculative he has a corrupt mind he is trying to work a miracle and pay for a miracle and so he to get Jesus into his dad's house his dad was living under much privilege he should have been in a leper colony but because of his political and his social and economic status he remained at home and had people serving him his leprosy was very bad the scripture implies that because the house was smelling when the woman worked that odor that perfume and broke it it lifted the stench of leprosy and death from the house and so when Jesus walked in there to a Simon that was about to die who had a political and economic agenda they were trying to use Jesus to manipulate the system to suggest some sort of a coup to rebel against Rome to overthrow the Herodian order to overthrow the structure of the Sanhedrin and said they were trying to use the miraculous power of Jesus the the persuasion of the crowd the force of his ministry the accuracy and precision of his words his insights and his his insights and his knowledge and his very very high acumen they were wanting to use him to be to piggyback on him for promotion and so Jesus understands their agenda and goes to their house and so they serving a meal and while they serving the meal a woman comes in this woman from the backdrop of the story was a woman that was a prostitute of the street she came off the street Jesus had healed her cast Devils out of her and she poured oil on his head everyone say on his head that's the Matthew version the mark version says she poured wayman's on his head that's mark 14 verse number three in the John version the different story here is Mary that comes this Mary is a virgin she is one of three kids the oldest is Lazarus the second one is Martha she's Mary Lazarus is the priest of that home Lazarus died Jesus raised him from the dead Lazarus is a type of human family is a type of a demek he was in the grave for four days a day with the Lord is as a thousand years a thousand years is one day so from the fall of Adam to the birth of Jesus was four thousand years so when Lazarus died and they put him in a tomb it's now four days Jesus could not go when Lazarus was sick he had to go when Lazarus had died and had been buried for four days because if Jesus that he Lazarus when he was sick it would never he would not have cured death that prevails in the human family Oh death where is thy sting so Lazarus had to die yes the human family's been sick from Adam but Adam died that day the day you eat of this fruit you shall surely die so Adam died the human family was dead Jesus said Lazarus is sleeping I've gotta go and wake him up when he gets there the first one to meet him is Mary and she said if you have been here my brother would not have died Mary was the youngest Martha was in the kitchen preparing the meals and Martha complained to Jesus and said you know Mary sitting at your feet and Jesus said she has desired that good part so Lazarus then is the headship he is the holiest of holies mother is the servant she is the holy place Mary who's sitting at the feet that's the brazen altar she's sitting at the feet so here you have 30 Mary is 30 fold Martha is 60 fold Lazarus is a hundred fold the hundred for blessing had been lost and G's that come to restore that hunter for blessing when he gets to the tomb he says roll away the stone now he could have rolled away the stone he's not gonna roll away the stone you have to roll away the stone in your heart if you roll away the stone in your heart him the everlasting strong the precious stone will come in and grind your hearts to powder and give you a heart that is palatable for God to move in when they roll away the stone the skins of death from Adam up until that moment came out of that grave and Jesus called as we said Lazarus come forth the reason for that bizarre Ronnie is because now for almost 400 years Kali had not spoken it was called the silent years and Jesus called Lazarus he was rekindling awakening the holiest of Holies because from Malachi the holiest of holies that shut down it there was no glory the glory had departed and so jesus said to call the holiest of holies to life Lazarus come forth and when Jesus did that the holiest of holies began to wake up we see the awakening of the holiest of holies when Jesus gave up the ghost because the veil was ripped into from the top to the bottom and the holiest of holies with the presence of God was reactivated and rekindled stay with me as I do my groundwork stay with me now this Mary in John 12 she took the ointment and look what she did verse number three she anointed not his head she anointed his feet the first Mary anointed his head was crowning him as the head of the human family crowning me as the head of the church crowning him as the head that will challenge and crush the head of the devil the promise was he were bruised you will bruise his heel but he will bruise your head a prostitute which is a type of Israel that has slept with all the nations of the world and God signed a letter of divorcement in Jeremiah to say your slipper all the nations you have gone a whoring sent Rozier to marry a prostitute and was trying to tell Israel I am your husband I love you God finally let her go so the first one that came that had been sleeping with all men that was healed poured oil on his head that's the Gentiles the Virgin that's the Israel the virgin girl Mary had never slept with a man the pouring of oil on his feet was thankfulness gratitude for the Lord coming to heal and raise her brother she walked into the meeting Lazarus now is at the table in its rightful place at the table with Jesus in the holiest of Holies and we don't know what the discussion is Mary walks in and pause pointment on his feet and they criticize her Bible says that Judas was exposed that night as a thief let's talk now about the statement they said for what purpose is this waste and that's my text for what purpose is this waste the reason his head was anointed for headship his feet was anointed to walk the final week to walk that walk to Calvary to walk that walk to carry the sins of the world and so sisters and brothers at this moment as the power of God was being poured out in that place God promised Mary that wherever my name is preached wherever the gospel is preached your name and this deed will be mentioned as well there are many many critics sisters and brothers who were criticized for what criticized us for what we do we come to service like this and we try to give God the best that we have we want the best oil to be released we come here and phenomenal drop today really we come to give God the very very very best of what we have and so Jesus made this from he said wherever this gospel is preached they will be a memorial raised unto her the question was for what purpose is this waste they just honored Jesus because this woman poured an expensive ointment on his feet he said to Simon he said when I got here you didn't honor me you didn't wash my feet you should have had a servant at least to wash my feet earlier he had later on in the the next chapter of John the disciples didn't learn the lesson from the the few days before they didn't wash his feet either he wants their feet and after he wants their feet none of them worst his feet Jesus went to the cross with dirty feet because none of the men in the room wore politically-minded had any sense to wash his feet and he says to Simon he said I came here you didn't wash my feet you didn't treat me with a kiss but this woman has not ceased because to whom much is given much is required to whom much has been forgiven much is appreciated and he criticized the criticized err and Simon and Judas were saying for what purpose is that waste tabernacle of grace you can't spend enough for the gospel you can't wear expensive enough for the gospel it's not a waste where the most expensive suits I don't care what guys say out there I don't care who criticizes what we do we are determined to drive the best to live in the best to eat the best we are determined to get the best education it's not a waste if we if we live our lives based on prognosticators and critics and people that will put our names in a for a news channel whatever the case comparing and saying we're doing this we maligning the poi etc etc we'll never go anywhere Jesus said you always have the poor and if you consider this as a waste then you are a fool it's not a waste you have screens like this it's not a waster at the best sound it's not a waste to have phenomenal uniforms like that it's not a waste to have expensive carpets it's not a waste to have cares like that it's not a waste amen turn to your neighbor and say it's not a waste since then Robert is not a waste for us to do the things that we do for God if we do it be gonna do it with a very very best the first high-five give your neighbor a high five and say it's not a waste Oh to what purpose is that waste if you want to know the purpose of waste waste is stuff that comes out of your body waste is sometimes overflow of things that are given right in our family my mother never ever cooked just for us we always cook because my dad will always come my mother would say was stressed he'd be drinking there and then he'll invite guys to come to the house to come and eat and I hated it because my mother used to put water in the curry and then though it used to be like super I hated visitors and I used to say to my mom and of course we all the boys used to cook Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays and the girls would wash up on those days Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays the girls would cook and the boys would worship because I'm the oldest of ten and so my sister Bernie always used to complain oh into the cooks he uses everything because he takes all the stuff and we have to use the scraps and when I cook I like to cook I still do that I use a lot I go and buy I buy the most expensive meats all kinds of spices and herbs and stuff like that and she's saying to me for what purpose is that waste you're known by a boy wife amen for what purpose is that waste amen but when you come to the diners table is not a waste you can't spend enough money to do the things you do for the sick you can't spend enough my things you do for those that are drawn Troughton you can't spend enough money for those that are in poverty you can't spend enough money for those that are in health care don't ever align yourself or allow yourself to be impeded by people who criticize and call it waste amen I like the heat the hotter the better but for those that like air-conditioning we should have more let's get some more let's get some Mercedes Benz buses let's get some Volvo trucks let's get some container loads of appealing things let's be opulent why do you want to fly economy class let's fly first-class press a button and the door closes and shut the world out amen it caviar why do you want to eat green gets salmon either trout want you in younger flight you Hong Kong getting an apartment in Osaka Japan why do you want to turn to your neighbors say it's not a waste say it's not a waste I'm turning 63 next year and I intend to spend I've made up my mind that at 63 I'm gonna kick myself and ml63 and if you mess with me I'm getting and s63 don't play with me I've been in ministry for many many years and I've earned it so get out of my way it's not a waste say yes give someone a high five say it's not a waste the more expensive the perfume the more the memorial in your life if you give God rose petals there's no memorial in your life yes but if you have something precious that you've been keeping for yourself and you come into a service and you bring that alabaster box to the Lord turn-key your neighbors say it's not a waste I intend to give because I know it will be given back to me press down shaken together running over so God came up to my bosom ah my father didn't waste when he spoke the Stars into existence look how many stars they are gaze at night and look at the Milky Way if your dad identify Orion standing so majestic in the heavenlies if you wake up early like I do and get to the office at five in the morning I see the majestic North Star in total come on and there are times when I get up in the night and I look at the South Southern Cross look how are killing God is he didn't make one star every person here is the product of one sperm but you were just one of billions swimming upstream God could have only allowed one sperm to come out of a male to make you but look how extravagant God is a man he juice you up to fill up the whole world look at the gold that's cause look at the summer that God look at the universe that God made look at the palace that God created look at all the insects that God made he made all kinds of insects not just wanna you can see the God for what purpose is that waster some people eat tilapia some like chowder I kind of like Shannon lamb some prefer snail that's the Nigerian sir other people like eating go via but God is very opulent he gave us options a shout I'm about to waste I'm not talking about being negligent and irresponsible but I've made up my mind it's time to spend and it's time to give big it's time to go high and go into the next level what power and anointing the anointing oil the anointing oil is falling on my head and is going from my head to give me head Sherpa jabber neck brace headship has been granted on to you you are the head you are a headship ministry every way you grow up government will acknowledge you everywhere you go the economic system will acknowledge you everywhere you go will be recognized shall I have headship shall I have headship also marry anointed the future have an apple of grace you about to walk in things you've never walked in before in the last few months you've been walking in the valley no evil they comfort me you are about to walk and not be weary your feet know each other your feet are anointed walking Prosperity walking house walking strength walking walk it open my heavens are about to open because you've restored my head say Mary Mary point at your feet say thank you for anointing his feet so I can walk in things that Abraham couldn't walk in that I she couldn't walk him that Jacob couldn't walk in that Israel couldn't walk in I'm anointed to walk into new dimensions talk to your neighbors say the anointing let's run all the way down I'm anointed I'm licensed now to go to the enemy's camp and take back what he stole from me I need you to get caught up razor I need you to keep gotta pray Simon you're rusted opportunity to ask Jesus to heal you Judas your us an opportunity to be counted as one of the twelve great sir you had one moment in your life and you didn't recognize who was in the house Simon when Jesus died Simon died that day because the hope of his calling and the hope of his resurrection was taken away the hope of his anointing was taken away and shoot us Judas hung himself he died the same time Jesus died Jesus died on a tree but was resurrected Judas Jesus thank you for dying for me shedding your blood for me for lifting my sins and removing my reproach for this I give you thanks willingly I give you thanks thank you I turned 62 years ago and I promised myself that in my lifetime I go to India where my grandfather was born and I went to Hyderabad I've got to India I cried like a baby when I saw all my relatives there my mother's people and they made me there was a hardship kotas you do have you here with us we love you very much and I as I entered they had big signs there welcome home welcome home hi Gemma whoo I didn't have enough Hank as I was crying so hard and then I went to my hotel at the marriott in centre of hyderabad and they had the presidential suite for me which was stunning when I walked in there they had all kinds of Indian girl he gave us the gospel 19 million people in Hyderabad are not Christians God found a family Miami Berra said he'd been watching me for seven years he took out a bundle of rupees which was one years earning they heard I was coming so he saved his salary for one year we went to security I was sitting in the lounge and he put those rupees at my feet and he said you saved my life your testimony please receive my cell rested I can't he said please [Music] I have it somewhere it's holy money you can't go to a puro and change that money to buy a coke or shoes it's holy money when I got on that Emirates flight I was crying is it God of all the Indians in this sub-continent family thank you how did God find you out of 200 million legends father I give you thanks I take the end the funds coming in endless funds coming in we we are in a bullying program ourselves what I saw your deal here we're gonna take money from our kingdom with it for money and so big into your program amen we have a lot of financial challenges but that's the way God rewards and blesses we're gonna sew into this building program and don't spare don't spare don't spare the cost the building rebuilding is magnificent it's gonna be iconic it's gonna be legendary we're not sparing the cost we're not cutting corners we're not doing that we're not putting up a shack we're not trying to put up a warehouse we're gonna spend whatever it's going to take whatever it's gonna take so we call that revenue in the blessing of God [Music] and now Lord for our son but zero Java complete come all these friends we must protect him because anytime a man who's as a wife especially a positive man of this kind of stature it's not unusual for women to start moving into the space everyone hoping for a spot they weren't hoping for coffee everyone hoping for a date everyone hoping that they'd be the Neal the one and so we have to protect him and we will won't we father thank you for a great grace that's chapter number four verse 29 please and now Lord behold there threatens and grant unto thy servants that before bold as they might speak thy word and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy Holy Child Jesus and after they had prayed the place where the assembler was shaken that Shepherd on 4 verse 33 and with great power the Apostles gave witness of the resurrection of Jesus and this
