Oh God our Heavenly Father the father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the make of the creator of the ends of the earth and the giver of every good and perfect gift we thank you for the privilege that you've granted unto us once again to stand before your presence and before your people to declare the unsearchable riches of Christ I pray Lord that you would just anoint these lips of clay let us speak words of spirit in life and let no self glory in your sight hide us behind your glorious cross and cover us with your precious blood allow no flesh to glory in your sight we'll give you praise we'll give you glory we'll give you honor in the name of Jesus Christ we ask a man and a man give the Lord a hand the frees hallelujah you may have your seat I would ask you to turn with us for the third time today some of you and yet I always have the question in my mind how many of you are here this is your first worship today you would night at 7:45 in Whitehaven and you were not here at 10:00 and let me see you stand up right quick this is your first one today my momma god bless you a man Matthew chapter 21 I'm gonna start reading at verse 12 and we're just gonna read verse 12 13 and 14 aloud together Matthew 21 verse 12 if you have that same man come on let's read it and Jesus went into the temple of God and cast out all of them that sold and bought in the temple and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of them that sold doves and said unto them it is written my house shall be called the house of prayer but ye have made it a den of thieves and the blind and the lame came to him in the temple and He healed them god bless you is the talking to you today about healing in the temple healing in the temple this particular verse verse 14 is unique to the Gospel of Matthew while Matthew Mark Luke and John all four the three synoptic writers as well as all account of the palms Sunday story and I say Palm Sunday story because that is what we have come to call this particular day it was not called that in the scriptures and I rather call it lamb selection day because the equation between the Old Testament mandate as it related to the Passover had to run parallel with this particular event in the New Testament whenever you read the Old Testament never allow yourself to just get hung up on what is written there it is true that whatsoever was written a full time was written for our learning but basically in the Old Testament you have a lot of symbols a lot of types a lot of shadows that prefigure Jesus Christ even Noah's Ark is a symbol of Jesus Christ the Paschal Lamb represents Jesus Christ the ceremony with the two goats the scapegoat represents Jesus Christ the name of Adam and Eve's third son after Cain had killed his brother Abel and the Lord gained through Cain and rather to Adam and Eve another son by the name of Seth and his name meaning substitute he is a symbol of Jesus Christ all throughout the Old Testament you find those verses that are some type of appointing forth as a messianic prophecy so the Paschal Lamb is one of the greatest representations of Jesus Christ and when the Lord rolled in the verses that we did not read that earlier in this chapter when he rode into Jerusalem on the back of that ducky that jackass and the people were crying Hosanna Hosanna they thought they were just pointing out the man who had unstopped deaf ears and opened the eyes of the blind and calls the lame to walk and fed the hungry multitude and walked upon the bosom of the briny deep and even raised the dead they thought all they were doing was cheering this great man some had it in their mind that he was now going to reveal himself as the Messiah and to put down the rule of Roman tyranny and restore Israel back to Kingdom status but what they didn't know that amid their shouts of Hosanna they were really selecting the lamb as it is recorded in Exodus chapter 12 whoever Lord was getting ready to deliver the children of Israel from the land of Egypt and said to Moses that in the tenth day of the month you shall choose a lamb and he has to be young he must be in the first year he has to be without blemish and you'll select him on the tenth and you'll kill him on the fourteenth in the evening and all of that was pointing to Jesus because as he went into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday it was the tenth on the fourteenth he would die and while they are shouting Hosanna blessed is the king that cometh in the name of the Lord he is that spotless lamb he's the young lamb because he's only 33 years old he's a young man in the prime of his life he's a lamb without blemish because he did no sin and no guile was found in his mouth so while they are shouting Hosanna tearing down branches from the palm tree taking off their cloaks and strong them in the way for that animal who was cowering Jesus that his feet would not touch the ground jesus knew what was going on he recognized that before him was the cross of Calvary but even in the midst of all of this jubilation and in the midst of these people crying out behold Hosanna the king coming the son of David coming up in the name of the Lord Jesus realized that it wouldn't be long before he himself would be giving his life on Calvary but think about it five days before he himself would die he had the time to be concerned about others let me tell you that's what the world is asking who is this y'all always talk about this Jesus here you get up before day to get to a 7:45 service and then they have the nerve to go back at 12 o'clock and come back on Sunday night and come back on Tuesday night and fast all day and I hear you talking in some kind of tough who is just Jesus the wild doesn't know who he is but we all be able to tell him who he is hallelujah wow they are looking for God while they are worshiping of a so-called deities we know the real Word of God Jesus the Word of God that was in creation that spoke planets into existence that wire was made flesh and deposited into the womb of Mary and hallelujah when he came out he began to just such the scripture and have a twelve-year-old boy he was growing in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man but all when he got thirty he went down and had John to baptize him from the baptism he went into the wilderness and was forty days tempted of the devil but the Bible said after the forty days he returned in the power of the Spirit in the Galilee and then the miracles began hallelujah the way I want to know who is it but you and I ought to be able to tell him that he's the one that can make a new creature your help you paper game and if your soul is sinking into spam Jesus know the pains you feel I feel the healing in him now I hear it in my spirit somebody separate preacher I'm sick I need you to lay hands on me I need you to anoint me with all I need you to come in minister to me and then I hear the Lord saying to you like you said the demands sick of the palsy in that second chapter MA I don't care what it is it doesn't matter what you got as I told you from time to time the Lord said if you can have it I can heal it you can't have anything that he can't heal you ought to him in your spirits and rise and be healed in the name of Jesus let's say arise in your soul ra's Andy he don't nobody have to touch it Korra not Satya can I and John they went to the temple in the 3rd chapter of Acts at the ninth hour 3 o'clock in the evening and the man at the beautiful gate he knew had no healing been going on in the temple so he stayed on the outside with a cup waiting for handout but when Peter and John walked up and saw him he said silver and gold but don't have none but I got something for you well what do you have I got a that's above every name that makes devils tremble that causes disease it's a trial by the root the center and transform them into a power in heaven receive it and thank him receiving yeah we're not gonna let that devil back in now let's make sure that we shut the spiritual door and don't let that devil back in he says evented two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything join both hands with somebody now the third party bow take that third one in Polynesia now wrong with closing up the cracks and we're not going that that devil back in we receive our healing this simple chlorine level
