hello everyone the second week of genin's 4.7 beta has begun and choran has already received some pretty nice Buffs to her kit typically these second week betas don't contain drastic changes to characters overall kits only wording or number changes to Ability multipliers and this is exactly what happened this week for choren although these updates don't sound extremely important they actually improve her overall strength quite significantly so let's cover what changed about choran and what it means for overall strength as a character and for those of you wondering about seen and sethos they unfortunately didn't receive any changes this week so you'll have to wait another week for any potential Buffs or Nerfs if they decide to first of all cloran skill received multiplier changes the damage of her enhanced normals when she attacks with less than 100% Bond of Life were increased from 66.1% to 76.7% at Talent level 10 also the damage of her level three lunge attack that you perform when you skill during her enhanced state was increased to 36.2% three times to 46.2% three times these two buffed attacks are the exact two that choran is spamming in her normal gameplay remember that Chlor and's Norm rotation after activating her skill to enter her enhanced state is three normals under 100% Bond into one level three lunch attack to spend that Bond of life and repeating that a total of six times so even though the Valu seem to have only changed a little bit she's repeating these attacks multiple times making this buff quite significant a normal 6 n3e rotation gained an overall 37.8% attack multiplier with this buff which is nice now her lunge attack did receive some healing nerves notably her level three lung attack now only heals 110% of her current Bond of life not 120% and after doing the math initially each skill healed choren for 21% of her Max HP with this week's changes she heals half of that this is quite a significant Nerf to her healing however I think in most teams choran should still be fine in terms of survivability not including her burst her normal rotation allows for six Leng attacks so healing around 60% of her HP every rotation still makes her pretty self-sufficient however this Nerf does hurt the viability of the potential healer finina teams and I don't think I would recommend trying this and rather would replace naha for baiju however her skill was not the only change that increased her damage Chen's A1 passive which does make up the majority of her damage profile also got buffed with its attack scaling and Max damage buff being increased the amount of attack you need to max out the buff hasn't changed but the effective multiplier that adds to each of Chan's hits was increased from 51% to 60% again a 9% multiplier increase may not be much but remember this 9% multiplier is added to each hit that choren does and she performs a lot of attacks just a normal burst and 6 n3e rotation has 41 hits so 41 hits time 9% for each hit equals an additional 369 attack multiplier over the previous A1 version so another solid damage well for choren aside from our Base Kit some constellations were also changed the proc rate of our C1 coordinated attacks were increased from 1 second to 1.2 seconds overall I believe this is one less coordinated attack proc slight Nerf but overall C1 is still a very strong constellation and her C2 was just a buff from her original A1 passive so since they buffed the base version of her A1 it only made sense for Hoya to buff the C2 version again I want to emphasize that this passive is extremely pivotal to Chan's damage so buffing this is very significant another classic strong C2 with a huge damage increase that Hoya wants to bait you with and lastly choren signature weapon was slightly buffed to give overall 12 more damage per. this makes sense because from early calculations her signature was performing only slightly better than M spitter and Harang Kaku vutu this should widen the Gap a bit more but I personally still think that if you have an extra copy of these festar weapons you don't have to pull for a signature these two weapons are already really strong on here but who knows perhaps Hoya will buff her signature again even more so those were all the changes choran received this beta cycle some great Buffs across the board but how much stronger did she actually get from the theory Crafters I looked at who did the math her team's overall gained about a 10% damage increase which is great and arguably much needed but me spewing out a number doesn't really mean much so let me help you visualize this buff significance with some context in my initial overview of choran kit which if you haven't watched the video I made about it I highly suggest you do I explained how if you imagined the five-star Electro main DPSS we have and their teams you could replace each of them with choren and you would get one of Chan's teams and with her initial kit numbers choren was performing on par with each of them maybe slightly better so if we just take kaching and Ryden at c0 as examples choren was performing slightly better than kaching and aggravate and about the same as Ry it in for example shu's overload and a good amount of people considered this underwhelming which I totally understand sure Clan's team te DPS is solid and good enough but a new character being just slightly better than a standard character and Performing the same as an older limited five-star character isn't too enticing when we recently got DPS characters like nibet and arino released with the buff resulting in about a 10% damage increase I think I can constantly say that corloran now has a decent Edge over the other five-star electrom main DPSS she definitely outperforms kaching now and does seem to be able to deal more damage than Ryden now I don't think this means that choran invalidates Ryden as Ryden brings a lot more comfort from her energy restoration and her inability to get interrupted while she is in her burst mode while several of cen's best teams don't have resistance to Interruption nevertheless these corloran Buffs definitely push her towards being a proper five-star fontain DPS where they all generally have a lower floor and just deal more damage now is choran nlet and arino level uh no I don't think her damage is that high yet and I think part of it stems from the fact that she's just Electro but who knows what will happen in the upcoming beta updates perhaps choran will get more Buffs or she'll get nerfed we'll just have to wait and see and that's all I wanted to cover about this week's beta update you know all the YouTube stuff that everyone recommends you do like like the video comment your reactions and questions and subscribe yeah you can do that with this video too anyways hope this video was helpful to you all and I hope you all have a wonderful day
