welcome to ski talk recipes today we're making a cruel young when I was in primary school my mom used to make this often for my breakfast I was always running late I grabbed the egg foo young and ate it and I ran to school she used to whatever was left over from the day before it takes less than ten minutes to make and it is so delicious let's start it with all the vegetables I have some carrot cut it into a faint red Chinese leeks and Chinese chives cut it into short strips quanto people love to put these into eggs if you cannot find these around where you live you can switch it with other vegetables such as onion cucumber or celery cabbage cut into things red to put them into a big bowl when I make X blue young I like to add some freshly chopped hot choice I enjoy the way how it adds the spice and kick as you chew it my mom used to do that and it became my favorite way you don't have to put it this is your egg foo Yong make it into the way you like it when you are done with preparing the vegetables move on to the protein I have four ounces of ground pork we need to creature it add 1 or 2 TSP of oil into the wok and cook this on medium heat stir it for 2 minutes add some salt and black pepper to taste then add it into the big bowl as well I also like to add some sweet freshly peeled shrimp shrimp click fast so we don't need to pre cook it 5 X peel it and pour it into the big bowl next is our seasoning 2 TSP of oyster sauce 1 tablespoon of soy sauce some black pepper and some salt to taste I use about 1/4 TSP of salt mix everything together then we start cooking turn the heat to high and heat up your wok for about 10 seconds add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil then turn the heat to low because egg is very easy to burn take about 1/2 cup of egg mixture carefully put that in fry this on low heat for one or two minutes each side or until both sides are golden brown because my walk is around the button so I can only do one at a time if you are using a big frying pan you might be able to fry many at the same time our egg foo Yong is almost done in China we usually eat this for breakfast or is the river right honestly we don't really serve it with the sauce I think that's kind of like the American style anyway I will show you how to make the sauce in a small sauce pot add about one tablespoon of oyster sauce one tablespoon of soy sauce one teaspoon of sugar one tablespoon of corn flour 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper and 1 cup of water you can use chicken broth if you have it give that a mix and we will put this on the stove cook it on medium heat if you see it starts bubbling like this turn the heat to low and keep stirring it once you see the sauce becoming thick like this you are them turn off the heat and pour the sauce on the egg foo young that was so easy right and it is very healthy you get so much protein and different types of vegetables really nice flavor for such a simple recipe so I hope you give this a try see give me a thumbs up please if you like Chinese food subscribe to my channel and hit the notification bell so you don't miss anything and I want to see you next time I post one to two videos a week
