this is how I'm able to get 3 to 15 days shipping times remain super profitable and not let shipping costs destroy my profit margins hey guys welcome back to youtube channel my name's the econ king known as commerce our in this video I'm gonna be showing you guys exactly the formula I'm using mushrooms are using to make sure that they can get 3 to 15 days shipping times at surprise where it's not going to affect their profit margins some of the tactics that we're using on our Shopify stores to make sure that we can remain a very profitable get really fast shipping times and not worry about the situation that we're currently in so if you're something that's currently facing really expensive shipping costs that are more expensive than the natural products that you're selling if you've somebody that's facing really long shipping times and really bad customer complaints in charge of Acts don't worry because this video will have you covered I'll be showing you free options paid options as well and I'll leave timestamps in the description but make sure that you watch this video till the end because I promise you now nobody else will give you these strategies nobody else will give you these solutions to this current problem that we're currently in so make sure that you like this video because it will help this video get pushed out on YouTube a lot more and at the end of because this is the best wrap shipping channel on YouTube period so as promised only start off by showing you the three options you can use to get really fast shipping times and to remain super profitable during this current period of time and then I will move on to the paid options now at the end of this video you'll be able to decide if you need the free option or the paid option so make sure you also look in the timestamps for different parts of this video number one product profit margin in terms of price ranges now you need to be making at least $20 on your product if you're not making at least $20 on your product then you will not make money now drawing current pandemics you must adjust to the market now adjusting to the market means you can't search it perks anymore you must sell perks where you can make $20 in profit margin and you may think oh my god another style a lot more expensive products yes you will have to now in terms of the next thing that I want to I want to go over selling high perceived value products now you don't want to be selling products where you can buy it for two dollars but then it's only worth let's say twenty dollars it just won't work you need to be selling products that you can buy for twenty dollars and they're worth seventy dollars in terms of perceived by you that way you have a big profit margin now the reason why I'm seeing you guys you must do this is because shipping prices are going up there's no other way around shipping prices they're going up and there's nothing you can do about it the only way you can tackle this is by charging more money on the product that way when you pay for the shipping times it's not going to affect your profit margin of that much so they're the two hidden strategies and tactics that I'd recommend you use and I'll be showing you how you can implement this with the supplies a little bit later on now I'm going to show you exactly how I use the CJ dropshipping website now you want to go in the description below and click the link because it will take you to where you can integrate CJ and Shopify together once you've done that you should come to a screen that looks like this and you want to go up to where it says warehouses now CJ offer multiple warehouse locations China US Thailand Germany Indonesia which is absolutely amazing and I'll be covering all of these a little bit later on now you want to hit China for now and then it will say all categories you can sort the products that they have in different categories now it's very important that you understand which niches and which industries are working the best at this current time which is number one the fitness industry because people want to work out from home and stay fit the second one is people that are furloughed and working from home are looking for products that can enhance their productivity so the laptop accessories laptop stands that kind of stuff and they have very high perceived value in terms of profit margins the next one is the garden industry a lot of people are boards they're just spending lots of time in their garden and that's another very high perceived industry the next one is at that at-home beauty industry a lot of people want to maintain their beauty from home and again it's a very high perceived profit margin industry which is very very important now there's a few more that are really good like kids entertainment products and other things like that that are very very good to sell as well now once you bear those industries in mind you can actually change where it says categories to one of those but in this case I'm actually not going to change it for now but you guys I do recommend you change the categories now once you scroll down for the different products rcj off there you can see this product here actually took my like and now the reason why this product what my liking is because number one it's a beauty product for men and when it could possibly be for and what it is it's a cordless shaver so instead of having to plug in your wall you can just go around with it and shave now a lot of people can't go to the barbers a lot of people can't go to the hairdresser's so gonna look for a solution from home something that's convenient and because this is cordless it's super super convenient which is very very important now a lot of people don't have plug sockets where it'll reach into the bathroom so that's why a cordis one is very very good now the reason why this has a high perceived value is because it's an electronical product it's cordless and normal actual plug in shavers can range between 30 and 80 dollars so that's what's very very good product now what you don't want to do is as soon as you find a product on CJ you want to click on the product page and it'll take you to the actual product page on CJ which is this right here then what you want to do is you want to scroll down and go to where it says shipping method and you can see it says here it says put that platform you don't wanna hit Shopify and then ship my orders - it says United States that's where shipping the product - and you can see here CJ offers something called CJ packet now when using CJ dropship I recommend you use what they call this CJ packet and you can see I'll take 15 five to 15 days to get to the customer and will cost you $7 now in terms of e packet that's a lot more expensive EPOC it's normally between one and two dollars this is an extra four to five dollars which yes it is expensive but look how shorter the actual shipping times are now there's gonna be a lot of people that gets gonna be like calm other shipping times real can you trust these people now I've been using CJ for a very long time and they have been consistent but something that I do recommend that you deal with every single supplier doesn't matter who they are is you ask them for the last five tracking numbers on shipping methods using CJ packet or what of whatever other supplier uses because if you actually get them to give you their five most recent tracking numbers using their service then you'll know if what they're saying is true or false now I want to cover how to structure this shipping price into your drop shipping store because a lot of people look at me like what do I do is extra cost on the ship in because II pack is only a few dollars now in terms of the actual shipping cost you've got two options you can either pop that shipping cost into the product so if you actually look at the product price the price is nine dollars so it's only gonna cost me nine dollars so you buy this product now add another seven dollars on to that because it's the shipping price that will bring me to a sixteen dollar product price that will cost me 16 dollars including the CJ packet now I want to make at least a 20 dollar profit margin like I said to you before so if we had $20 to $16 as $46 now I personally started for 47 99 because it sounds a lot better and I probably thinking can I get away with signing this for 47 99 personally I think you can because it has a high perceived value shaver's that accorded anyway are a lot more expensive than that now let's say you can't get away with adding it to your product price because your product hasn't got a high perceived value now I'm going to show you another way you can actually enhance that so guys now I want to cover the second way you can digest that shipping price into your Shopify store so if option 1 don't work which is where you add it into the port pricing because the product had a high perceived value let's see a perp doesn't have a high perceived value and you can't get away with doing that then you need to use this option now the second option is where you actually charge for shipping now you want to structure it exactly like this so let's say for example the CJ packet is $7 extra in terms of shipping price I would have that which would be three dollars and fifty and I would add three dollars and fifty to the product price and then I'll add three dollars and fifty to the shipping price now you can see I'm in the Shopify back-end now you always want to offer free shipping it doesn't matter what you do you always want to offer that free shipping now you want to change the free shipping name though to what it says here which is free track ship in 20 to 40 days I'm not going to mention the word because I've got my video D monetized and then it says delays now the reason why you want to do that is because some people don't line waiting 20 to 40 days because they can understand the current circumstance that we're in so always off from the free ship in that way you won't kill conversions completely and then you also want to offer them the paid option now I've put it opens $9.99 on here because that will make because that would make sense a little bit later on when I show you a different example now in terms of actually changing this price and like I said to you before CJ packet for that product was $7.00 so I would out the 3.52 the product price and then I'll add the other half to the shipping prices then I would add a rate that says fast three to 15-day I'm not gonna mention the word shipping which I would charge 3054 and again you just want to change this based on however much the CJ packet is let's say CJ packet is $10 you might want to add $5 to the actual product pricing then you want to add an extra $5 to the shipping pricing and again you want to offer those two shipping methods so that's the second way you can deal with the expensive shipping prices now there is another tip that I recommend you take to actually make this a little bit more lucrative for the customer now customers will understand that they do need to pay a premium for shipping especially fast shipping because of the current circumstances so don't be worried about that now this is the other method that I use which really helps out which is basically giving away the fast premium shipping for free now the only way you're allowed to give it to them for free is if they order over a certain amount so I've made a rate saying if they spend more than $70 on my website so the CJ packet which is five to fifteen days I'll give that to the customer for free as long as I spend over $70 on my website they probably thinking why would you do that now if they're spending over $70 in your website you're making a decent profit margin then you can pay for the fast shipping as a goodwill gesture now in terms of how you should structure this now I've currently set it as $70 in terms of they have to spend so many dollars together for free but it depends on your product profit margin now if you're somebody that needs to say if you spent over $100 then you'll give it to them for free then that soy down to your personal store and how much you need to make in profit for it to be a good optional idea for you so how you want to structure that on your website is you want to put in the announcement bar free fast three to 15 days shipping when you spend so many dollars that women people shop at your website they know how it works they know the option they know the promotional option and it's very very clear copy and paste that into your product descriptions and preferably at the top of your pot descriptions that whele entice people to spend more money so they can get that shipping method for free now I want to show you what it looks like when a customer checks out on your website so you can see here when they checkout you can see it's that the shipping methods it says the the first one which is the free one which is a slow one which is twenty to forty days then it shows the fast premium option and now it's not for free on my website because I've got more than $70 worth in the cost you can see it's 99 pounds so I'll come up for free now if it was 199 pounds sorry if there's one to 70 pounds then it would come up as nine dollars or a club as how of them what you said to us but I want to show you how it would work in the actual checkout page so guys I want to cover the second shipping option on CJ which is the u.s. warehouses so you go back to the top go to warehouses and then click US warehouses and it should show this and then I'll show you all the products that can ship from a US warehouse now do bear in mind I'm not gonna go too much into detox is exactly the same as the China version if I go onto this product for example just a quick example again for Bill one here I wanna show you quickly what it will look like see to the same page the only difference now is it says it will ship from the US and they'll say two to five days shipping time so now it's actually two days to five days instead of five to 15 now do bear in mind this is gonna be extremely expensive so you can see here it's gonna cost between $10 and $20 to actually sell this in terms of shipping prices so it's something to consider but it is very very expensive now do I recommend selling from the US personally from CJ I wouldn't recommend it at this current time because CJ is asking for way too much money on US selling so try and stick to China warehouses on CJ and with CJ packet so guys I want to cook with you the second website in the second supply you can use for free that actually offers really fast shipping times and a good customer service now the next one is called hyper SKU now I've personally never used this website but a lot of my students have and they vouched for it and they've showed me the proof that it really does work very well and they are true to what they say they can do now in terms of what it's like is exactly like these other websites like CJ in terms of the interface now it's completely free like I said I'll leave a link in the description as well now what you want to do is once you've made an account and you've integrated it with Shopify you'll come to a screen that looks like this and you want to go to where says search for products and then it should take you to a screen that looks just like this and you can sort it out by different categories and you consider out by how much price the products are selling for and whatnot now the reason why I'm so showing you loads of different websites is because one website might sell certain products for cheap another website might sell another product fit cheap so you want to go over these loads of different websites that I'm recommending in today's video because you want to see in terms of your website now if you're in the fitness industry let's say hyper sq has the best prices on fitness products but then CJ has the best prices on gardening products I hope that makes sense but that's why I'm recommending blue to different websites so you can find your niche your products for the best price and shipping prices on these different trusted suppliers so guys this is how the hyper SKU dashboard looks you wanna go to where it says search your products and I'll give you the different categories that they specialize in and they sell in and then once you find a category you like then you want to click on it and then once you find a product you like you want to click on that and then it'll take you to a page that looks like this and you can see I've got a children's SmartWatch for G with GPS built into it and with a camera built into it so it's like an Apple watch but lots more better because I was a camera built into it and you can see it's currently at 22 dollars to buy almost 23 dollars to buy so we'll say 23 dollars and if you look at the shipping times it's gonna cost us $10 for a packet for Hyper SKU economy it's gonna cost for 17 dollars so basically 15 to 20 days and then hi pesky who has an even better shipping option that's $27 which is very very expensive now in terms of what I'll do is I'd personally go with the middle one 15 20 days for 17 dollars now get like I said with the high perceived value products you want to add the shipping price into the product price of 17 dollars into $13 is basically it which is basically $40 let's say $40 that's how much it basically is including the shipping and the product price now in terms of can I get away with selling this product for $40 of course I can it's a SmartWatch it's got a camera built into it's got 4G built into it now an Apple watch is charging $300 $400 all the alternatives are charging $200 so to have a kid's version only $40 of all those features built-in that's an absolute bargain and customers won't even know you've put the shipping price into it because the perceived value first anyway is worth hundreds of dollars anyway so you can definitely get away with it now a tip for you if you want to be able to get away with some of this stuff is you want to google alternative products let's see for example the Apple version of this and you can see the Apple charge way more than we do for this product so that's a good way to find out how far you can push the barrier on your products if you're unsure on how much you can get away with selling it for now I want to cover the actual Aliexpress sourcing now a lot of these companies off the ad express sourcing which bassy means if they don't have a product that you like on Aliexpress on their platform they can source it for you now during this current period of time I don't recommend doing that because Ashley saw some products at the moment is a lot harder than it used to be so if you saw support from Aliexpress nine times I had ten you're not going to get good ship in times and if they say if they'll give you good shipping times it's gonna be a lie so really do avoid the Aliexpress sourcing unless the company says they can guarantee you those shipping times but me personally I'm avoiding X I know it's gonna lead to a lot of problems now I want to show you another option you can use for free that's really really new creative now it's Aliexpress now I know a lot of people have sworn to Aliexpress and they don't want to use anybody else now what you can do is you can go to aisle Express and I'm gonna type in Fitness because that's one of the niches at the moment I'm doing really really good and then what you want to do is you want to go to where says delivery from anywhere change it to the United States then I'll only show you suppliers that will sell and will actually send from the US so let's click on this product here because we all know this product right here is a winning product and you can see shred away if I click United States go to the delivery time you can see is for two thirteen days and it's free completely free and it's being sent with UPS shipping which is insane so you can see that right there completely free UPS now there is one big con to this there's one con that makes this kind of not very good to use which is you're only allowed to sell to us when using this option so when you use Aliexpress US shipping the supplier will only send out to the US so if you're doing Facebook ads Google Ads you can only target the US as a country which means that your actual target market is shrunk to just the US so there's a big consummate so is if you can find a middle ground if you're happy just sign in to the US then carry on just like this but if not use one of the other alternatives that I've recommended so far and again the reason why I love this so much is because it's free and because you don't need to change your product price and so much you can just start you can just stick to making fifteen to twenty dollars no problem and you don't have to charge for shipping so guys now I'm going to be covering the best-paid supplies you can use for drop shipping now in terms of my first go to my favorite paid supplier is definitely you drop is the one that been using the most miss the one my students and all my subscribers have been using the most of now should you go for you drop e now it all depends now I personally go with them because it fits my business the most based all the products that I saw the most of so don't just go with what I'm going with go with whatever suits you the most go with whatever suits your business the most of really do take that into consideration don't just go with whatever everybody else goes with or whatever I go with because it's down to my personal experience now I'll be going over what are the difference with free options and paid options and a little bit later on because some people might be like what's the worth why even pay for it when you can get free one so I'll go for that a little bit later but in terms of how you drop your works is you want to go to the product catalog now in terms of the pricing structure it starts off at $49.99 a month a master-planned I recommend everybody goes for now I do have a coupon code but it will only work for plans that are longer than a month so you have to go for the plans out of three months and longer and then you can apply the thirty dollar discount on to it but the $49.99 is the one that I may recommend that everybody goes for now in terms of soon as you got the plan you want to go to product catalog and then it should look like this you can sort out you can change the categories you can do loads of different things to filter it down now this product right here is a very good product it's a dog gate it's a very easy dog gate to use because pets are stuck at home and they can't go out as much as they used to it's gonna be harder to contain them and maintain them so I thought this product could be really really good it's $3.97 to obviously sell now if we actually go onto the product pages on new droppy you can see I would show me everything so it shows me everything now the thing that I love about you drop is it doesn't just tell you everything about the product it tells you if the product is trademarked if it has a paintin what countries that has the painting in which countries that has trademarks in which is very very important you don't want to come into legal problems now if we go over what we're trying to go over in this video which is these shipping times you can see here 12 to 15 days shipping times if we scroll down to the US it's gonna cost me $9 and 24 cents to get it between 12 days and 15 days now probably thinking is a paid option but it's slower than some of the other options now what I'm gonna say is it's a lot cheaper in terms of shipping costs not just that but these guys are consistent now I'd rather have a supply that's consistently getting 12 to 15 days then every time they get one that gets there in the time the obviously say they're gonna get in so in terms of consistency these guys are the most consistent for me personally and that's why I like them the most and like I said they give you all the paintings all the trademarks that are included with the product and that's why I love you drop you the most and that's just an example of how they work now they did used to offer a faster option which was five to ten days but currently with this current situation they're not offering it anymore now I'm gonna be going over why is it worth having a paid supplier like you drop it when you've got some of the free ones like CJ and the reason why this is worth is because they have something called a virtual warehouse which is where you can get warehouse so let's say you're something lots of products a week here so that you do like 100 units a week you might want to use a virtual warehouse for faster shipping now this will get your shipping times down to three to five days three to eight days which is really really fast and the actual customized packaging you can do white labeling with this service where you can actually get a package in to look the way you want it to look now with virtual warehouses it's the cheapest way of doing it now you can't get a warehouse but the expense it cost is a lot a lot expensive than actually having a virtual version it's where you drop me actually own these warehouses and you basically rent them from them which is very very clever and I don't know anybody asks that off is this exact service so this is the reason why you drop you isn't free and this is the reason why it's so so so easy and gonna also offer an econ manager that will look after you as a client so I'm on the plan where I get actually this for free where they give me a manager that looks after everything for me they fulfill all the orders they look after customer complaints they look after absolutely everything and you can see they've got warehouses in Milan Madrid China and Romania which is absolutely amazing something else they offer is something called cash on delivery now it's not very common for most of us but in India and countries like that cash on delivery is very very popular and this is something that you drop the offer and it's a very very powerful way to do shipping and to sell products now I'm not gonna go over in this video because again most of you won't be using it but in terms of what the benefits using you drop a consistent delivery times very very very good customer service they get back to you very quickly and they answer you very fast also they have the white label and the virtual warehouse isn't that something after you the guys just don't offer so guys the last paid option you can use for a supplier his pocket now socket prices again are so different now in terms of what plan you should go for now that really depends on what you're looking for in terms of a supplier now recommend you go to their pricing plans and look at what you want from there personally I'd recommend you guys go for the basic one the most cheapest BAM but again it just depends on what you're looking for now the thing that I love about Sparkie is they have so many different variants you can go for things that have ethical sauce so if you're somebody that has a brand where you're all about ethics and culture then they have an ethically sauce whereas all ethical in terms of how it's all been done which is really really good because a lot of brands are trying to go down the ethical room the Eco route and Spock you're actually caters to that which many suppliers don't actually do that at the moment another thing is that go for made in the US they actually sell products are made from the US so if you're a brand that's very passionate about you're from the US and you sell products are made in the US that's another good option now they also have very very fast delivery times these guys have the fastest delivery times for the best prices so you can get four to seven-day delivery times you can see they're four to seven big delivery times and it'll only cost four dollars so it's the cheapest delivery time but also the fastest delivery time which is absolutely bananas but the only con service guys and the reason why this is a big con is because they don't have many products to sell so the actual product range they offer the product catalog they offer is very very limited now that's the big commerce pocket now every supplier has a con to it and the biggest converse pocket is the product catalog range and what kind of products they sell is very very limited and it's very niche down that's the reason why you drop is my favorite paid supplier because they have the biggest catalog range the one that's most identical to Aliexpress and they have consistent shipping times and reasonable price shipping prices now Spock it again like I said has really good shipping times insane shipping times again they are very limited to what they actually sell and what they actually offer so do bear that in mind guys when using Spock it and go on there free plan they do have a free trial so I do recommend you go on the free trial to see if they actually have something that you actually want to buy from them first and again you can see here they've got shipping times I have one two three days which is absolutely insane I don't any of the supplier that can offer shipping times that quick and doing one product drop shipping now one print drop shipping is where you sell something one at a time which is what you guys are most used to so have a shipping time one two three days whilst doing it like that is insane unheard off nobody can do it so guys I is currently in terms our best supplies for this current situation best supplies in general and how to kind of build these tactics into your store so you can get away with using fast shipping times but you don't need to worry about customers complaining about - prices or you don't need to worry about product pricing as being too high so it kills conversions so let me know in the
