yo what up kenny bogus taste this welcome to another exciting adventure kenny's kitchen with your boy young kitchen that would be me this cat hey yo people man this week man i want to give y'all some options actually on the classic right so uh we've done actually a stuffed bell pepper is what i want to do for y'all today right but what we're going to do today i'm going to give y'all this beef stuffed poblano pepper bait thing is what i want to show y'all man got the craziest ingredients and you know what you already know you about to see it because we about to do it right here right now taste this kenny's kitchen let's go church okay so getting started we got a few simple ingredients right here i'm gonna start in the bowls i got right here i got a just a small onion diced right to the left i got a like three cloves of garlic minced i got right here i got some chipotle i got like a couple chipotle peppers uh and you got to get them you can get them in a can to look like this with chipotle uh peppers and they can't it comes in a can or a jar in adobo sauce i just took two of them out just a few of them and i just took depending on your heat you could use one or two i took two depending on your level of heat because they got a little bit of kick to them and i diced them up put them in here i got a little cilantro i just took a little just a little little baby's ball of cilantro diced it up put it in a little bowl and then i got some dried oregano here a little tomato paste over here a little salsa we'll get to that later and i got some uh pl poblano peppers is what i got all right these are the star this is the start of this the poblano pepper and we're gonna use some ground uh beef for this dish and i actually went sirloin um best results get angus beef but we got some uh 9010 sirloin i think it will do all right all right now uh we're gonna first we're gonna move to the skillet and start uh blending all right let go all right next step you get your skillet i got about uh about a couple teaspoons of oil in there and to this we're gonna drop a pound of the beef right in the middle and you're gonna take uh it's a non-stick skillet i got so i'm gonna take a little plastic or you can get a wooden spatula just start breaking it up and we're just gonna cook this and break it up cook it for about five minutes until it you cook the pink out till it gets brown until this mix we're gonna take two uh teaspoons of uh sea salt divided though i'm gonna put one teaspoon in right now and about a teaspoon of crack fresh cracked black pepper all right and this is a little leaner but we're still gonna drain this baby like i said about five minutes we're gonna get this brown drain it and show you what's next okay so about four or five minutes later beef is brown i drained it and this is over a medium heat and of course by all means you can substitute for ground turkey crumbles or whatever the case may be but this is what the recipe called for so that's what we did so next we're gonna add the onions and the garlic to the mix couple more onions all right and then we're gonna mix that into everything it's gonna get fragrant and onions become translucent and mixed up into the ground beef real good and that's gonna take another one two minutes or so [Music] okay people next step we're gonna put a tablespoon tomato paste stir that in we're gonna add our uh chipotle and our dried oregano and spread it in the mix we're gonna stir that in the mix also you're gonna uh we're gonna add some rice we're gonna need about a cup of cooked rice so uh cook you some rice and have it ready to decide i already have some uh ready and i'll show you what they do in a little bit oh actually i'm gonna add my cilantro as well and that's that's another that's one of those ingredients you can omit some people can't do the cilantro i love it personally and so we're gonna stir all of these ingredients mix everything in and let them go for another say another one two minutes let's give it a good stir good mix and uh if we had smell-o-vision man look it's super fragrant already just smell those flavors all right next step we're gonna add our rice i'm just going to dump that about a cup of rice in there our salsa about a cup of salsa stir that in okay then we're gonna turn off the heat and we're gonna add a cup of mexican cheese to the mix and stir that in and what i got is a mix of chihuahua cheese i got some uh that's what we call the chihuahua i think we should call it i might be pronouncing it wrong so my monterey jack got some uh quesadilla cheese and uh this is the chihuahua cheese that we use uh we'll leave a leave a link down in the bio you can grab it off amazon and i just i use that and i mixed it with some other cheeses so back to the mix we're gonna take it and give it a good little mix mix everything real good and uh we're gonna preheat the oven to 400 degrees and we're not done with the cheese we're coming back with more cheese too y'all but we're gonna mix um in here real nicely and then we're going to stuff our poblano peppers so we're gonna cut those actually uh vertically the long way and this is so this right here baby is our mix all right again heat off we got our oven preheated to 400 degrees now let's get back to the poblanos and show you what happens next okay so back to the cutting board what we're going to do is take each poblano pepper wash and rinse them dry them off pat them down and we're going to take a knife and try to cut evenly as we can straight down the middle all right and open them up you see this is what you get so basically we gonna remove the uh the inside with the little baby seeds and dump those out and if it's a couple left over that's fine you just don't wanna you know be eating a lot of this stuff all right and we're gonna do uh this recipe you can do uh four peppers cut in half would be a total of eight peppers and just repeat the process okay so this is how we're looking and at this point we just gonna pack it without filling man we're gonna pack it real tight with the filling like so then we're gonna cover these with some aluminum foil or just aluminum top which i got and we're gonna bake these boys for about 30 to 40 minutes pull them out top with a little bit more cheese i'll show y'all how that's looking in a little bit okay so i let it cook for the whole the entire 40 minutes to make sure those peppers were nice and tender and done and we're gonna top it with a little cheese top a little with some more cheese and uh we're gonna put it back in the oven for another eight to ten minutes just until the cheese melts beautifully i don't think you can you know go too cheesy but uh go to your liking all right catch y'all in a couple minutes but we're gonna get to the plate [Applause] bait there it y'all there it is beef stuff poblano back let's zoom on in people [Music] oh yeah man look at the oozy goosey cheese on top of that thing man it's a beautiful
