foreign hello everybody I'm PJ from princess craft RV I am so excited today to show you the Barefoot trailer this trailer is 16 foot 7 inches total length it weighs 21.50 so it's lightweight it's stylish it's retro it's Unique there is nothing like it out there on the market where is there so you see this trailer was designed by Kathy Chamberlain in the UK and it has been available over there for some time and she gave new camp the rights to build it here in the U.S now you may have seen this trailer out there just a few times over the past years why did it take so long well for the past three to four years they have been developing it here in the U.S for distribution now think about this at the UK they drive on the other side of the road so this had to be entirely redesigned in a mirror image there's fiberglass molds that had to be made there's adaptations to all of the U.S appliances the water the electricity all of the standardization that had to happen here and let's not forget there was a pandemic so it took some time but it is finally in production now keep in mind this is one of the first Barefoot available on the market so options and features can change but stay tuned we're going to show you all the details on this model let's go inside and get started foreign you know coming into this trailer I know your first question doesn't it feel tiny well if you just look at floor space there's not a lot of dancing room in here but it really feels very open it is six foot one in the center so it's very comfortable for me of course at five foot tall and there's four really nice sized Windows all the way around I think the collars help as well it's got the dusty blue on the seating the calm beige color with the silver tones really what a nice calm feeling and Butcher Block tops it just makes it really natural you feel like you're almost outside but you're not you're in this cool retro trailer let's get started showing you the details we're going to start right up here with the storage now this is not glass it is a clear with a little bit of a foggy Pebble finish on it but it is not glass so it's not going to break going down the road slides open it's about 12 inches deep on the bottom of course the sides are going to follow the curve of the egg shape but great storage up here now you notice all of the upper cabinets and the Cubbies they're lighted that switch is right over here so it's easy to get to turn that on and off but it just adds a really nice flare and it makes it easy to see what's in those cabinets slide this closed here down below you've got a nice window right here behind the stove before we go any further let me show you how these windows work there are handles down at the bottom now they have a little button that you push in to open them and if you're not familiar with these windows they are a dual pane acrylic window so they're lightweight very insulated and as you open them they're going to have a click and they'll stop wherever that click is and when you want to close it completely just push it out and it comes right back in and you close the handles when you open the window you've got a screen coming from the top and then you've also got privacy panels from the bottom now if you wanted a little privacy and a little air at the same time you can always clip them together okay to the left you'll see this is your monitor panel of course you're fresh and your gray water will be shown there as far as the levels and the water pump this trailer has 23 gallons in fresh water 17 gallons in Gray now what about the black this is a cassette toilet so it's going to have five gallons of black and I'm going to talk to you about a cassette toilet when we get outside I am really a fan so uh if you're maybe thinking you don't want to get that close to the black water stay tuned we're going to talk about that once we get there over here is the air eight controls because this trailer has air conditioning now it's located underneath the seating with ducts on both sides for the air down below that that is for the controls on the Aldi system now for those who aren't familiar with that that is your hot water and your furnace switch right here that is going to be for your entrance lights the ducting right here for the air conditioner smoke detector and a really stylish Little Hook right here one thing that catches my eye this space right here where you could maybe add some hooks or some Decor so that this really works the way you want it to work the glass tops here make this countertop usable if you're not using the sink in the stove it's simply a flat counter space on the left is the sink it's a nice rectangular sink it's about six inches deep and you just swivel up the faucet when you're ready to use it it's a single handle very simple to use and when you're not using it fold it right back down a little storage back here three of the Cubbies now you'll see a lot of that in this trailer why because it's a very easy way to create storage without a whole lot of clutter and closed in feeling all right next let's take a look at the two burner stove course with a spark igniter right there when you're ready to put that down just lift it up lay it down flat again and all of that counter space reappears underneath you do have some cabinet space here you've got a nice cabinet that takes up this entire space underneath you've got a shelf in the middle it's just really great storage for a trailer this size next to that the 12 volt isotherm refrigerator 12 volt don't let it scare you it's actually a very nice feature why it doesn't need to be vented to the outside like a standard RV refrigerator and the 12 volt that it runs on uses a fraction of the battery power that you're used to with a traditional RV refrigerator that's huge all right just above that another one of these wonderful push button knobs you'll see them on all the cabinets and pull that open you've got a drawer now it's only about six inches deep because of course you've got the stove gear back behind there but still great for silverware any small items you'd like to be in the top when you push that knob in it not only creates a flush surface but it's really stylish and locks the cabinet into place so it doesn't open when you're going down the road let's look on the other side another lighted cubby right here on the top and two really nice Pockets that are made these are so nice for things that you just want to keep handy when you're traveling and that is also on the front of a cabinet where you've got three shelves they're only about three inches deep but everything is accessible a lot of really small things that you need to grab and go right there in that cabinet a little bit of space on the front horizontal spaces countertop always nice in a trailer this size and of course more storage underneath let's take a look down here this is a full cabinet there is no shelf here so you could create anything you wanted under here it is a nice open space very accessible and there's a few more things right at the doorway I want to show you as well to the left of the door is another storage cabinet right inside here you notice the light comes on when I open it I love that feature you've got a small space at the top and a hanging rod so great place for hanging clothes if you don't need that make it your own create any type of storage that you want now one of the great things about this space is that if you don't need the table in the dinette area it stores neatly back here with a clip to hold it in place no more trying to find an awkward space to put the table when you don't need it or when you're going to turn it into a bed because the table does not make the bed in this unit so easy to travel with it stored neatly in this cabinet and down below that is another cabinet space and when you open that up great place for shoes boots those kind of things that you need to grab when you're heading out the door speaking of heading out the door there are switches right here at the entrance one of them is going to be for the porch light the other one is the lights on the front of the trailer so be sure to take a look at those when we're going through the outside all right one last thing right here on the side you want to use every space right in a trailer this size so they created a place for three wine bottles yes you have wine storage right here at the door now I don't know about you but that's a huge Plus for me and if wine is not your thing I bet you can find something else to store right there in that space all right now before we get to this beautiful dinette we're going to take just a minute to show you the wet bath it's compact but it works the first thing I notice about this bathroom is the accordion style door it looks like it's aluminum but it's not it is a plastic composite material so very durable it has a curve at the end but easily slides open and gets out of the way no opening door to mess with all right in this bathroom if you're looking at the very back you've got two storage cabinets now granted they're only three or four inches deep but you could stand up shampoo soap anything else back there that you needed to store the cabinet underneath has storage as well but let's open that up so you can see it now that cabinet has the glycol tank that works with your Aldi system so that will need to be checked from time to time to be sure your Aldi system is operating correctly very easy access there and as you can see there is some space around it for storage of other things that you might want to keep in the bathroom you probably notice there's also an air vent in there and heat from the Aldi system on the opposite wall really nice to have a bathroom that's warm and cool depending on what you're looking for this is a cassette toilet the head does swivel just a little bit but I like that this is a compact style system not a big bulky cassette toilet that you may have seen in other units the sink is technically molded into the back of the trailer that's such a space saver and it does give you just a little bit of space for soap and maybe a few other things up above the sink you see that they put in a holder for what I would assume would be a toothbrush love that factor and when you're ready to take a shower the faucet doubles as a shower head you simply pull it out and you can hook it in right up here on the top or of course just hold it in your hand now you'll also notice there's no curtains in here once this door is shut there is a lip on the outside of the bathroom that's going to hold all the water inside no messy curtain to pull or stick to you when you're taking a shower I would however take the toilet paper off the toilet paper hook and put that in a cabinet before you shower all right the mirror on the other side of it it's really stylish a nice oval mirror this isn't a huge wet bat right but for most of us it's adequate let me step inside as you guys know I'm five foot tall when I step in I assume this is probably right here at the top part where I'm standing five foot four maybe five foot five now if you're taller than that sitting down is always an option and it does follow the curve here so there's a few concessions you might need to make but in a trailer this size I am really impressed with how functional this bathroom is and how they designed it so it will do everything in such a unique space one more thing that makes this bathroom so functional this frosted window on the back again it is just like the rest of the windows it opens up and you know you may not want to take a shower that window open completely but it's great to vent the bathroom when you're done get some of that moisture out and then lift it up and close it right back down all right stick with me there's a lot more to see the rest of this trailer is this beautiful u-shaped dinette really feels so open look at that huge window let's start right here at the table this is a nice white this creamy white like the rest of the trailer it is a one-piece mold but it's not heavy I really appreciate that feature not banging around a big heavy table it has a unique style that I haven't seen before where the top simply lifts off but it's got this button mechanism in the center that makes it fit really tightly so you see that there's a clip here on the end and you take this lean it up against the wall and clip it into place in the cabinet the pole then simply turns and loosens and comes out very simple to do you have a bar that fits into the slot and as you twist it it tightens up so it's easy as well not a press fit like you might find in some trailers once your table is out you've got a nice open space here let's look really quickly at the outlets because that's one of the first things I look for on the end of the kitchen there is a 110 plug on both sides of the dinette there's also a round 12 volt plug-in over here and on that side two USB ports down below you have a 110 plug there as well as USB plug-ins right here at the front of the trailer so enough Outlets to make this a very usable space it's very simple to turn this into a bed just grab the panel pull it out and it gives you the slatted base of course these cushions just slide over and it makes a 69 inch by 71 inch bed so that's very comfortable for two people slide that right back in I also want to mention you don't have to worry about these back cushions always falling over they actually have snaps holding them into place so you're not going to be constantly kind of setting them back up and getting them to stay behind you that's really Innovative so many manufacturers are going to put velcro there and you know that velcro moves it wears out it doesn't hold up to the Heat I love the snaps keeps everything right in place all right down below you'll see this is a converter right underneath that 110 plug we talked about your converter is going to convert of course the shore power to the battery power to run everything in the trailer except the air eight of course that is going to require that Shore power plug all right over here this little piece of gear there that is the lp carbon monoxide detector to keep you safe that dual pane window that I showed you in the kitchen that's on both sides of this dinette so you can get a really nice cross Breeze up above you have two lighted Cubbies on each side again they're just invaluable for storage up front now that window doesn't open in the front of it but I just love the open feel and let's take a look at the curtains here these curtains just have a nice easy velvet strap I really love the Retro feel of the pattern they have the nice eyelet so it just pulls over to give you full coverage here you of course are going to have the blackout shades on the other window so you don't need that curtain but it really softens the space I don't know I love the feel a few more things to mention there are reading lights right up here and of course they are the traditional lights you'll see in the other new camps where you can have a blue light or hold it down and it turns white I don't know a nice feature also a fantastic fan in the ceiling if you love that cross Breeze or you just need to move some air around in here that is a powerful fan the best part to me there's a remote control right there on the wall so I can change it at any time even in the middle of the night all right well next thing we're going to go outside and talk about the features outside so stay tuned [Music] foreign the outside of this trailer let's start with the most obvious thing this is a seamless fiberglass exterior shell why is that important well first of all it allows you to be creative put all of these Curves in it because you are not constrained by having walls in a ceiling so you get a really stylish product and it's aerodynamic the next thing because you don't have a wall meeting the ceiling there is no caulking there to keep the water out so it is just almost leak proof here because you don't have that maintenance to take care of it's a nice glossy finish and any product that you could use on the exterior of your car you can use on the exterior of this Barefoot it just adds so much style and sturdiness all right love these graphics on here the Barefoot styling here but let's take a look on the front you do have the handles Now new camp is famous for their small trailers having handles on the front and sometimes on the back why well because it only weighs 2100 pounds so you can maneuver this around even in your driveway or your camping spot if you need to I love the Retro lighting here remember that light switch that I showed you just as you came in the door one is for the patio light but the other the front lights here and these front lights are really nice if you're connecting or disconnecting in the dark just flip on those lights they're molded in just really stylish let's take a look here this front compartment is the propane tank it just simply opens it feels very sturdy you've got two tanks here now these are two pound tanks they are smaller so you've got four pounds of propane and your spare tire in the back of course your regulator and everything is all inside this compartment I think it's a really brilliant way to have all that stuff accessible right in front here you'll notice there's another panel and if you lift this up this is storage for hoses anything else that you'd like to store right here in the front all right let me put this panel right back down it just simply has a screw that you just tighten down in the center to get it locked into place of course the standard electric brakes on this that is not how the Barefoot was originally designed so that's one of the changes they had to make when they came over to the US power cord standard Jack on that you can always upgrade at the dealership for an electric jack that's not a big deal so don't hesitate if you like those more the first thing on this side is going to be the pole to empty the gray tank this has a 17 gallon gray tank like I mentioned and the sewer hose connection is just behind that now this vent is for your Aldi system and that is the hot water and the furnace and down below the Nautilus system now this Nautilus system is going to control your fresh water and you just connect it here you do have some blue and green knobs that you can adjust they tell you exactly what to do here to make the water flow how you want so you can set it up so it is a straight City Water fill and it goes directly to your faucet or you can turn the knobs appropriately so that it fills your tank that is all done right here and the pictures will tell you it's very simple to do you can also use those to sanitize and winterize the system so you can always check your handbook for that inside this compartment as well at the back wall you will see a water heater bypass valve now that's what you would use if you're winterizing in normal operation it's not going to be something that you have to mess with and under that is a portable solar panel plug-in if you wanted solar power out here while you're camping keep this rig going just plug it in right there set it out in the sun and you're good to go there's a hatch at the bottom because you may want to bring that water hose up from the bottom so that you can close this cabinet door and your water hose comes in from the bottom of the cabinet and then of course connects to your Nautilus system now on the rear wall there is a light which of course there's a light the unique thing is you can set this light to either come on and off or you can set it to be a motion sensor that's what I always like to do because the minute you open the cabinet the light comes on when you close it after a few minutes it will shut itself off it's just a convenience underneath is going to be your low Point drains so there may be times when you want to drain that 23 gallons of fresh water all done right under here and it also is going to help drain the lines all right Shore power right here of course and in the back this is the cassette toilet we talked about now a lot of people aren't really fans of the cassette toilet it does require you to get pretty close to the action so to speak but it's so convenient think about this you never need to find a dump station because you could dump this in any public restroom at a rest stop or even when you get home very simple to use let me show you just pull the handle underneath and this slides out there is grab handles in all the right places this is going to swivel out when you're ready to dump it and you push this button to let the air in so it's not going to be bubbling out dump it simply put the cap back on swivel it back into place and you're ready to go now to roll it where you need to go it's just like a small suitcase it has wheels on the bottom and a handle where you just total along and when you return fold the handle back down and slide it back into place it opens up when you slide it back in you notice when I pulled it out it was completely sealed up that's the beauty of the cassette toilet so don't be afraid of it it actually makes camping and having a wet bath really simple all right moving around to the back there's really not a lot to see back here except for just how stylish this is the Frosted window at the back of the bathroom and we're right back around to the front this trailer has so many great features it is so unique so interesting now we realize it's not everybody's cup of tea but the style is unmistakable thank you so much for hanging in there with me I love the trailer the baby moons just set it off there aren't any options on this trailer it's all going to be featured just like this one if you have any questions please give us a call I'm PJ from princess craft RV we look forward to helping you and we'll see you next time foreign
