stuff and they have unique dialogue and and things but I am going to be playing An Origin character uh or a custom character rather see so let us make Mr Victor quibbles shall we yet again body type oh okay so we can be like this or big normal Poor Pig you can you can have a feminine body type uh but still uh masculine pronouns and stuff I'm pretty sure so we are going to go a masculine and edit uh they had arrows to swap between the faces and I hate that I hate that when it's not a a spectrum uh of options and it's on arrow keys like Skyrim Skyrim has some of the worst character creator like UI user experiences in my opinion because of that fact they put color on an arrow keys system and I really don't like that but they changed it I wonder if they saw my video or did this was this just like I feel like this is just a natural change to do though like it seems like a no-brainer to do this uh no not main menu how do I change my race I want to change uh uh edit character how do I race they have all the different sub-races of Dragonborn God they look so cool God they look so good look at them that's a good lizard and and and and you have the option as a Dragonborn there it is to have a tail if you want based based amazing but uh let's see half work so Dragonborn gnome and half work were not in Early Access but yeah it's basically all the player handbook races as well as guess the Yankee and drow which thank goodness because I was a little scared I was a little scared hold on let's make a waifu real quick oh wait no this game actually does have a waifu Creator so I don't need to worry about that hold on uh half elf there we go masculine half elf um class features you have weapon proficiency with Spears Pikes Hubbard's Glades if you've played D all a lot of this is gonna look familiar to you I wonder if they add something like tabaxia or our cockra maybe one day I don't think they have the uh they've made the assets for that right now um goblins bug bears and hobgoblins are in the game but as NPCs but having the assets available gives me hope that modders will add them in as playable races they're very inhuman not that I know of I don't think so yeah I don't I don't think variant humanism uh edit appearance here we go let's see let's see what face do we want he's got to have a pretty feminine face I think this one is closest we'll get where to next instance where you take your long rests with me our odds are better together you know no I was ready to go this alone but maybe sticking with the herd isn't such a bad idea and anyone that can crush a mind flayer ship and walk away seems like a good person to know I'm flattered all right I accept lead on yeah it's good because you can swap out party members uh if you feel like you want to change see featherfall most definitely uh Mage Armor I should have cast major armor Mage Armor is definitely one mate's hand you can't really go wrong uh Raya Frost is pretty good cantrip um you can't really go wrong there's a lot of good spells Greece is good what are some actually I think it would be easier to count what what are some bad spells to avoid let's see um wizard spells let's see wizard spells guidance is good Bane is good true strike is bad don't get true strike uh Chill Touch Is Not Great it's okay but you don't expect the enemy to heal much anyway uh burning hands I would say is mediocre absorb elements is okay let's see uh false life is okay goodberry is very good um actually Goodberry's okay as well it's only good if your your DM is running a game where like hunger is going worth spending an action to keep doing it and like there are better spells out there I think wishbolt is bad but yeah there's too many spells most of them are good yeah just use a cantrip yeah uh I'll Mage Armor it's a little is this too late no it's never too late to make armor oh that's good most cantrips outdo which bolt yeah like which bolt you gotta spend a spell slot to cast it first of all and then you got to spend your actions to keep it up which means you can't really cast anything else yeah which bolt is better for sorcerer for twincast agreed uh so will this proc and attack of buff an ally of an allies magic weapon but no you're an evocation wizard we want you to be the nuker we want you to be the the blama Darkness milf's acid Arrow we want you to hit hard and eat ass Fireball yet no that's level five Fireball is level five scorching Ray could be good phantasmal Force each turn hmm could be good for ten turns 10 D6 potentially over the course of 10 turns hmm another concentration though I don't want too many concentration spells Mirror Image that's not a concentration this is a good defense actually mirror image is probably the most useful defensive spell you could get I think I might be going with scorching Rey cane lock shatter could be good actually [Music] um because I got magic Missile if I got to deal with multiple enemies far away from each other cloud of daggers is bad it has higher damage potential though [Music] you have phantasmal Force I don't think so I haven't selected it that's what you mean um it's also an illusion spell I want to start getting evocation stuff because we get bonuses for evocation create a pocket of safety within your evocation spells allies automatically succeed their saving throws so shatter could be useful see armor for students will like yeah there it is wow um so shatter could be good for that um 4d4 is more consistent in 3d8 oh why is this so hard this is too many spells there's too many there's too many spells Chad I'm gonna go with chatter big boom big boom historian historian softness we don't need another spellcaster we have too many spell casters you are not going to be an Arcane Trickster could be a thief fast hands gain additional bonus action ah this is a thing they had to change because using an item is a bonus action they had to change the fast hands on the Rogue because uh Thief uh what it normally is is use item is a bonus action but use item as a bonus action by default in order K3 so now you just have two bonus actions Second Story work you've mastered the art of falling cure wounds I'm gonna get rid of healing word inflict wounds is good gunning bold is good Shield of faith is pretty good um Prayer of Healing kill all the Allies you can see within 30 feet can only be used outside of combat it's another it's an additional short rest at the cost of a second level spell slot I don't want that let's get an another hold person I think that could be good spiritual weapon is the best cleric spell ever you can it it doesn't like you spend a bonus action to essentially get a second attack it's so good dude spiritual weapon is probably the best early like low level cleric spell Claire like cleric is so strong early level dude Aid your allies can increase their hit point maximum by five hit points okay neat you essentially have an additional Invincible unit on the field it's way too good it's good in actual play not in Baldur's Gate yeah I assume so warding Bond we're an ally they're getting resistance to all damage and plus one that could be good actually until long rest not a concentration I'm gonna pick that she's gonna be the protector she's going to be the buffing person Bliss command bang bang bang bang bang oh protection from Poison warding Bond there we go uh enhanceability they gain advantage of this on ability checks with the chosen abilities it wasn't pretty good um in non in actual play Bane could be pretty good I like Shield of Faith yep the only thing they get fighter is very easy and simple yeah Battle Master what other ones are there Eldritch Knight and champion the number uh you need to roll a critical hit while attacking is reduced by one this effect can stack what instead of having it be 19 I guess now it's a because how improved critical hit Works in regular tabletop DND is it's a flat amount it's not an it's not an increase or addition it's uh it's like you can roll a critical hit on a 19 and 20. this this is nuts this can get real crazy um but I think I'm going to go Battle Master because Battle Master is really cool yeah apparently it's stackable so I presume there can be multiple instances of things giving improved Critical Hits and just keep dropping the number down lower and lower and lower hmm if there were other features yeah I don't hate that yeah I don't hate that either that's pretty cool I'm gonna go with Battle Master though maneuvers trip attack sweeping attacks we think that's pretty good uh repost rally it's pretty good pushing attack Precision attack ERS thank you for the raid welcome I'm playing Boulder skate menacing attack possibly frighten maneuvering attack goading attack has disadvantage on attacking other creatures faint attack um both your action and bonus action on a turn to attack a target with advantage okay evasive footwork imposed disadvantage destruct a Target giving your allies advantage on their next attack roll against it if you want to go more support possibly Force the target to drop their weapon Commander strike the Ally immediately uses their reaction to make a weapon attack okay I like trip attack and I like sweeping attack and misses you can retaliate with powerful Rally's pretty good possibly pushing the target back 15 feet you can spend a superior superiority die and add it to the results of an attack roll so you can be more accurate attack that deals on additional 1d8 and possibly frighten that could result in an attack of opportunity will gain half of its move and speed wait on hit select which friendly creature will not provoke oh okay so you can help your ally move around I think will make her be like a one-on-one
