[Music] alright guys today is May 19th 2020 this is my first video of 2020 to give a quick update on things have been going on we get a lot of requests from people over the last 30 days or so saying hey wants you to do an update video on what's been going on where you been most people know that I have been incarcerated in the Utah State Prison for the last 16 months and prior to that I did about six months in the Utah County Jail fighting my charges I'm not going to go into great detail about what happened basically made some really poor choices there in 2018 that cost me severely I mean all that all the information what happened is public information it's basically a bunch of theft charges and weapons charges it was a situation that went down poorly for me it all happened within one very short time period where I was basically helping out somebody that I called a friend that I've known for a while that was in a situation where they needed help dealing with some vehicles and I helped them with that in consequence made some poor choices about being in possession of those vehicles when I knew that he didn't have the right to have them he was trying to extract money from somebody that owed him for this these vehicles and was not the proper title owner and I knew that and let my judgment get clotted with that and when all the chips fell back in I was one of the people left without a chair and ended up getting charged for multiple felonies of possession of vehicles that I didn't own and it was a bad situation it you know poor judgment you know we make choices in life everybody's human and we all learn from our mistakes and this was a mistake deep in life for me that cost me dearly and severely has affected my life but I also have to get up every morning and recuperate from it and that's how I learned a lot from going through that experience it was a horrible experience but also very well taught lesson in life and I want to take from it the good and I want to pass that on to people in life and share with them my story and what happened and how I ended up making the decisions I made and stuff so it's about all I want to say about that for right now a lot of people ask me a lot of questions about that but I'd like to move more into current time what I'm doing what my plans are a lot of people are asking me hey you didn't get another repo truck and get back in the cab and start working again and I'm not going to do that anymore I made that clear back in 2017 when I sold my truck and gave it a good home and you know that's not what I want to do and I've talked a lot about wanting to do the school and a Technical Training Center that's still in the works that's something that's a passion of mine that's gonna come but right now just getting back to life I'm happy to reintegrate myself back into society and so my plans right now well here's here's what you're gonna see on the channel over the next little while I know that you guys have seen that I've been uploading some older stuff from around 2011 I've got hundreds and hundreds of videos that I can put up to this kind of stuff but that's not what people want people want current right now what's going on so I'm gonna be infusing new videos on a regular upload basis I'm gonna get onto a schedule that I stick with and show you guys what I'm doing currently and so the rest of this video is gonna be where I'm at today what I'm doing and how this channels going to look and what you can expect here on the this tree product Channel I'm sitting in my new 2007 Chevy Malibu so it's a good vehicle I've got that window tint put on it got the sound system put in so what I've been doing over the last 30 days is kind of getting set back up I got myself a new laptop myself a nice little Dell laptop here it's a touchscreen it's my work my work computer but I'm gonna be using also for doing my video editing and stuff and what I'm doing now currently which is still in the same industry that I was in before but not going out and picking up the cloud all I'm doing and focusing on investigations keep locating that's what I do the best it's what I it's what got me into repossession my original story not all the people know this but back in the day how I got into repossession was I actually started by I was working as a lot boy at a repossession company in Phoenix and the owner was my best friend's older brother and he had me just doing basic yard work he was teaching the simple things like how to break into vehicles how to make keys how to bypass ignitions he taught me everything he needed to know about taking a vehicle and in the process I was still too young to be able to drive one of his repo trucks I was actually even too young to even be able to write in the cab of one of those repo trucks and so one day I noticed a bunch of boxes sitting in the corner one of the offices and I was like what are all those and he's like those were old accounts where we haven't been able to find the vehicles and they had hundreds and hundreds of these cases this is way before the internet this is like 1985-86 and everything was still paper everything was faxed and so I asked him if I could go through those files and have a look to see if I could figure out maybe if there was information they had missed and I could figure out an address where the vehicle might be and he kind of laughed at me about that this little sixteen year old kid saying you know once look at the stuff and he expressed to me the importance of understanding the sensitivity of the data that was in there that was one of the first things I learned was when we're in control of other people's data that is a very sensitive thing and something that needs to be protected and so he said I'll let you have a look at some of it he goes but I can't let you dig into the depths of you know their credit histories and all that kind of stuff so he can't give me a skim over on a few of the counts and you know I told him I said pick the ones that the most important to you the hardest ones that he liked if I could find this vehicle here that would be great and we call those white whales in this industry so he gave me a couple of his white whales and I found out later that he actually held back one of the files that it's a whole different story I'll share with you but the one he really wanted to get which I eventually did find for him it was a turning point in my career but he gave me a stack of about six accounts and out of those six accounts I found four of those vehicles within a week by going through the information piecing the puzzle together figuring out making a couple phone calls going back over information talking to family members going out into the field knocking on doors figuring out what had been missed and and I was like man this is easy for me it was easy to skip locate people and you know back then I thought okay I'm looking for the car and over time I realized that you're looking for the person when you find the person you mentioned will find the collateral because people can take a piece of collateral and park it here or park it there or hide it here store it there and then go on with their life and what I realized that we needed to do was you had to work through a network of communication with the people in their life kind of always scheming around the surface of their life until you eventually were able to infiltrate and figure out where the collateral was that without tripping up their network of people and letting them know hey there's someone's sniffing in to our information trying to figure out you know this that or the other it was it was a game and I got really into that game and found that I was a natural skip locator I was good at the investigation side of thing and that's what I'm focusing on now and that's what you guys are gonna get for me is I picked up a couple of new bail bondsman's I made some relationship with some bail bondsman through my experience of going to prison and I've got some clients that are you know they're looking for people too and but for different reasons not to get collateral but to pick the person themselves up and so I'm working with a couple bail enforcement agencies I've got a couple of attorneys that I know now through what I've been through that I've made relationships with and I built an out of new network of people so not just my clients aren't just banks anymore I do still have some of the banks that he's broke with that have skip accounts now while I was gone they had to go and get set up with new repossession company some of them even came to me and said hey we know you're not in this anymore so who do you recommend we go get our repos done from them and got them set up with good repossession company so I'm still dealing with repo companies and friends of mine that are still in the industry from this area and they're all probably from time to time times when I will be filming when I'm in the passenger side of the vehicle and I'm actually in a repos record we're going out to pick up a piece of collateral that I found but it's not gonna be my company not gonna be my trucks I don't do that part of the job anymore I'm working in the industry as a skip locator exclusively right now and I'm kicking only high in cases where you've got $100,000 plus piece of collateral like the one we're on today is a motor home and the client said this is you know again I said the same thing what's your white whale what's the biggest account that your repo companies couldn't find give it to me and they gave me the most expensive biggest piece of Claddagh that they could find i got actually a couple really cool cases I'm looking for I got another one that's dealing with a Hummer and a couple of Corvettes it's a whole dealership that these guys came in and they took a bunch of collateral hanging out let's jump right into this first case and go from here get this video put together and I'll show you what we're doing so let me pull up the account here I'm obviously still using Evernote to do all my information database stuff my old man glasses here turned 50 this summer believe that big five oh that's awesome they got lots to share about family and what's going on with Asia she had a baby while I was in prison so I am now a grandpa yeah actually my biological kids which I have not talked a lot about on this channel are coming back into my life now for my first marriage a lot of people don't know that I had six kids from a first marriage haven't talked a lot about that almost everything about this channel has been about my life with Shonda and you know Asia and the boys the boys are all grown up now Julian graduated from college Jaden's doing awesome actually working on getting him a vehicle right now and Asia had a baby a little baby boy I'll show you some video of him it's pretty cool and give you guys an update on how she's doing as we move through this all right so this first case is on this 2018 Forza motor pull up screenshot here and show you guys we'll go back to screen record so you guys can see what I'm doing here on my laptop and I'll put that here into the video what's happening do a voiceover what I'm doing here I also try I have the screen capture software also set up so that it shows you a little screenshot of me while I'm working on the computer working there's a parking lot right here address that we have for this motorhome is supposed to be right around the corner here my fact that might be it sitting in the driveway when they did this drive-by let's go down to a street view see what shows up on Street View Street no that's a different motor home that's it looks like that's an ace we're looking for it's called the Forza but the fact that there's a Motorhome in this driveway this guys supposed to be a dealer and he has this a little bit of see what's around the corner you might part these things sometimes you get people that live near parks like this they'll stake in their collateral they'll have like a back driveway and they'll park them in that back area run around behind and see he's got a back shed she opens up into the park that I'm in here and wraps around it's all the same property so he does have backs right away back here he actually has a really good setup here where he could even do probably you see they've got a gate right there so the park probably enforces them parking stuff back here I'm parked over here so looks like there's no more access from back here and that building comes the shed comes up against that fence pretty close so there's no way to fit any collateral between there there but he could Park here I know that motorhomes not gonna fit in that shed there so he said we absolutely cannot make contact on this account at all that's not the motorhome were looking for jump back out of this view here another view I like to use I'll jump into Google Earth sometimes you do three-dimensional views you can pitch up and down and with a touch screen like this you can spin it you just pinch and squeeze with your fingers like on a tablet zoom out just like you get a nice aerial view download a detailed picture here dragged it over I can just take my fingers and just spin the screen gives you a nice bird's-eye view of the area kind of what it would look like flying from a drone that probably would be a bad idea I could actually have mine drawn on me I could launch it from here and do a quick flyover and see what's coming across coming out of the park this way and go right over the top of this house here just come down the street and see what's parked in the driveway without even driving by the house there's a little bit of the research I did on this vehicle I saw a stat 2018 2014 Winnebago Forza there's this picture of what it's supposed to look like I got all the details on it the length and then they sent me over they didn't have any current pictures on it they had a okay picture but when it was over at the dealership it sent over to me in Evernote and get that pulled up using the screen capture software I've got to make sure that I don't accidentally pull stuff up because on screen capture you can read all the details I don't want to have you guys accidentally read a lot people ask me if I can not repo anymore because of what happened and consequence consequentially because I did use the number of skill sets that I had acquired as a professional recovery agent the judge did tell me that he did not want to see me at least while I'm on parole work in the capacity as a recovery agent out in the field sneaking around at night running a tow truck they felt like there were just too many parallels between that job and and the stuff that I went to prison for and so you know but they've given me permission to be able to work as a doing skip locating and stuff and obviously it's daytime right now and I'm just doing investigative work and they are aware of what I do but moving forward when I do complete my parole and get off of it I can still go back and become a recovery agent in the state of Utah there are some states like California and Florida where the licensing restrictions make it to where if you're a convicted felon you cannot get Avery a recovery filled license which is I agree with that I wouldn't want people that have felony backgrounds to be out doing this kind of job we have access to a lot of sensitive data and that's one of the things that I've damaged in my life is with my felony record background now you know I had felonies before there's no secret about that but there been 28 years since I had been in trouble with the law and I ran my business and they looked at that and this stuff just happened to me recently I mean I've only been out of prison for just under 40 days you know this is new but I'm gonna get back to work and keep doing what I do because this is what I do this is what I know and I'm not gonna go flip burgers or be a greeter at Walmart or stock shelves at a warehouse I mean this is what I do this is this is what you know what I like to do I like making these videos I like working with clients that have needs and by picking up attorneys and bail enforcement and bail bondsman's as my new clients I'm working even closer with law enforcement now that I was as just a recovery agent as an owner-operator and my goal is to reintegrate myself back with these guys to rebuild trust with law enforcement and with the courts and let them know that what happened to me was something to happen in my life I was in a state of mind I was making decisions my judgment was clouded I made mistakes and I want to learn from that so that's key to me getting back to life is meeting myself back in the life and I want to show through these videos and over the course of the next couple of years and I worked through all this and I successfully complete my parole and all that I want to show you guys that this is possible you can make a hiccup in life you can go to prison you can have the worst thing possible happen to you sort of dying and recover from it that's the point of this channel moving forward is to show you guys how I do the job and how I live my personal life and how integrity is something that you have and that you show the world even when you're naysayers and your haters are like now you're this and you're that and you're a piece of [ __ ] now it's like you know what what you do in life and what happens in your record doesn't determine who you are those are things that happen to you these are things that have happened to me guess what I'm strong enough to overcome them I'm strong enough to get back to a normal life and to be happy again I'm happy now I'm in a great state of mind mentally and I've got tons to show you guys so no this would be good we're gonna do a flyover I think I'm going to grab the drone real quick I got a new Evo drove from auto robotics thing is sick I'll show you some video footage of what it looks like and then I'm also gonna do a quick flyover see what's over here and see if we can spot this motor home and once we have a locate on this thing what we're gonna do from there is where I turned the information back over to the client and go from there I'll show you how the process works with skip locating and how it integrates into the recovery business jump out of the vehicle here first I'll show you the new car this is a 2007 Malibu I'm gonna say that it's got the windows tinted it's a good little car picked it up for a really good price there's my second mode of transportation so I get back in shape picked up some pounds while I've been looking down and dusty pounds to shed so I've got the mountain bike so I can stay healthy break this out here it said this is the Auto Evo they have an Evo 2 out now this thing is quite an incredible piece of machinery fired up here folds up very handy for portability put inside of a backpack a little bit of wind say but this fly pretty good even in the wind it's got a gimbal can guard right here you take off it's got a 4k camera bill standing on Milton gimbal it actually takes a picture from underneath so when it lands that literally when you set it return to home it'll land within just centimetres where it took off incredible technology in the comment section my vehicle there that's my take off the landing point when I play with this thing Pat it for about two weeks now launch the takeoff alright so we'll get launched here you can see that Joan takes off and hovers for a second then you program in the flight path you want to give it and it takes the instructions and flies the mission goes up to a preset altitude that I've determined for it to take off from which at this this video is 60 meters and once it reaches that 60 meter point I'm able to adjust the camera down and get it focused in on what I want it to be pointing and then it starts to fly the mission automatically you can see I lined it up so that it would go to the end of the street and as it got to the end of the street then it pitched and turned and just follows down the natural path of the map and we use Google Maps to do this and we can set these missions up ahead of time when we're not even connected to the device and you can save different types of missions based on the area and what you see on the map you can also see I can zoom in on the collateral you can see the collateral down there in the corner and then as I get over the top of it I can pitch the camera a complete 90 degree angle down and have a straight downward view of the collateral the zoom in and zoom out feature actually is really nice on this camera this is a 4k camera as well you can tell the video footage is just incredible and look at the trees you can see how the trees are moving a lot of wind right while I was flying this look at how smooth this footage was the technology that's just this gives me a good bird's-eye view a live bird's-eye view of the area of the house again I could do it another zoom in on the collateral verify that it is there what the surrounding area is like then I can just do a zoom out and point the camera back towards where I was parked and I'm able to fly home fly home fly back to where I took off from they caught a home point in this case the home point was set to the roof of my vehicle and it comes in and and it's a one-button setup done fly and then I tell it at the end of its mission to automatically land where it took off from and like I said it takes a picture lines itself up with what it saw before and it lands exactly where it took off my saying it's kind of overkill why do you need to fly over with a drone first just showing different ways we can use the technology how easy it's becoming to utilize stuff like this and over time as this process evolves and I take you into this next phase of my life I'm gonna show how we're able to use technology for a lot more than just this I've got plans to show you if not we can do auto flies from the office you know you got eight or nine different accounts set up in a given area you can send a drone out and do a preset flight path and fly all six addresses and then return to home and they have real-time video footage of that entire process and that allows them to be able to say look that cars on target that cars on target no nothing in the driveway there right now and nothing in the driveway there right now you can send a truck out and the truck can go [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] and come back and your efficiency goes up exponentially that's just one example I've got 10 15 examples of where I plan on using this type of technology and eventually we're gonna work this stuff into an OEM type of package where this stuff can be integrated onto the trucks just like the camera systems the GPS trackers things that didn't exist before that we use on a regular basis now as standard tools this is going to become a standard tool that we utilize so yeah right now it's a little on the open hillside but it's an evolving process the the the first bike that was invented the first motorcycle it was the bed doesn't look anything like what we've got today so we have the foresight that I have for where I'm headed with this technology and just enjoy it I'm gonna fun with this stuff I've been excited about this stuff for years and every time a new technology comes out I find a way to integrate it into what I do for a living so we could close it up or jump back in the cab of the vehicle get our stuff buttoned up we're go for a little walk actually instead of going for a walk we're gonna go for a bike ride a little bit less auspicious section of this that's zero contact with this guy for reasons I can't disclose right now but that's the thing about the new way I'm working I'm working with clients that very sensitive data there's gonna be a lot of what I'm not gonna be able to record and show I'm gonna try to get as much as I possibly can as far as recovery related goes but I keep this interesting for you guys I'm still working out my head how it's gonna evolve we've got this new mount on my bike that's got a GoPro attachment on the front and then a universal right here for my phone it's kind of cool I can snap the phone in it angle it you guys along with me check this out raiga Forza [Music] house four cameras there's one camera right in front of the motorhome pointing at the nose of it I'm not gonna be able to get anywhere near the front of that camera right there this time of the plate through the DMV not be calculated look like step back down and go in there real quick why I've got the bike off the back I'll show you what I've been doing in the trunk eight d12 15 in their single 15 got lights that are in there you blows green and whatever color I wanted to at night I've got it set on green right now but got my Kenwood x19 on 1.5 X R and the 601 XR that was going Bridge mono to the sub and that five channels going to all my top in which is also all exelon I am not quite down with the floor yet I'm gonna be doing a false panel across the bottom there with my 10 farad capacitor flush mounted right there and then that's the battery he's just gonna cover over right now secondary battery panel across the front here it's gonna trim that out I've got that in the back seat right now it'll get straight white piece of aluminum right here this grating stuff will get cut out custom then I'll spray it a high probably matte finish yeah I don't want to go high don't know if I go Hegel awesome look good with the lights I don't know if you ever change your mind on finishes you always want to do a matte first semi-gloss and then high gloss if you're gonna stage it up see how each one looks but for effect with the lights at night let's see how that reflects off there that's why but that's where the finishes matter really during the daytime I like the matte finish better because it kind of a flatter look almost like a plain pastel but that's car audio for me you can see I don't have plates on the car yet I got my repo nut plates ordered again but it used to be on my truck it should be here any day I'll be putting those back on this car here and we'll be cruising around in the oh seven Malibu for the next little while doing our investigation so first video of 2020 I hope you guys look forward to a lot more it's gonna be stuff similar to this it's gonna get more and more exciting we've got a lot of plans moving forward but just know I'm in a really great place right now mentally and I'll fill you in on all the details of my life how I always do all infuse all that personal stuff into it for those of you like to watch those of you that don't why are you still here just kidding it's good good stuff guys move forward from here grow show you how to recover from one of the biggest if not the biggest hiccup of my life secondary to losing my wife this one really hurt cost me a lot and I'm gonna take the good out of it and share with you guys repoing it out [Applause] Wow it's gorgeous he's got the plate all custom cut down that's cool [Music] a beautiful [Music] [Applause]
