scenario here scott used to always clown me for having a lancer and then the rs3 came out brian couldn't stop talking about iras and rs3 this and eight second that we got some buddies right down the road that have drag evo and the rsd i brought out has actually already been here that's lost what did we find out after they were done racing i don't actually know the helix wasn't working which is their all-wheel drive system so they were actually running it in front-wheel drive this is a tough one for ron and i because both love both these cars on that note i will mention that i think you brought a race car to a streetcar fight oh look okay let's go talk about your bazooka versus my knife it's got a turbo dude i heard it's a lancer i heard audi's have check engine lights since you guys were already here the redemption for you yes we're gonna start with you [Music] giggs you got an evo it looks at me like an evo 9 but is it a nose update it's an evo 8 running a 6466 precision turbo synchro transmission still is this thing street legal or this thing is street legal smog smog but it's registered as a 1975 lancer right without uh any check engine lights and you got a synchro trans so you got it you got a hand shift everything it's still h pattern five speed there's no human that could shift as fast as that thing impossible well let's take a look under the engine bay let's see what you got going on in here damn you got the sheepy race manifold going got the half radiator going on here how much power you think you're putting down in this thing i would say anywhere from seven to eight hundred running spray no spray no spray no nitrous just tuned how much do you think it weighs in general last time i weighed the car with my old roll cage setup i got weighed at 29.10 with me in it with this new cage i haven't weighed it just yet he george and stab weight 29 as far as suspension what are you running there our suspension i'm running to stm d2 coilovers man safe to say this is a pretty serious build pretty serious drive car i mean you know you're not gutted inside fully like you said you got you got the door panels in there everything it's got quirky so it's a it's a race car forward-facing turbo kit doesn't make it a race car the kirky 100 race car can you really call atlanta uh race cars hey look this car right here comes from racing heritage you bite your tongue do you buy your thumbnail i have to buy my thumbs up do you punch this on my door what do you think man i haven't even gotten back oh i love evos and i love forward facing turbo setups on evos well in the research i've done forward facing stock mount top mount all that it doesn't make the biggest difference in the world where the turbo really ends up and you just come and look at it from this angle right here because i think this makes all the difference in where the turbo is i mean that that helps that's cool you got the bumper deletes yeah you got the mirror delete it's a sport trim for mitsubishi right from the dealer like that the sport trim meaning they they they don't put these rivets in right here i love this color too so it's literally called blue by you [Music] let's talk about the audio pop the hood let's just get right into it it's a fully built engine from iris motorsports sleeve uh integrated tuscan rods maui pistons there is air conditioning in the car we do have minor weight reduction we have our new dr2s with zero three four motorsport wheels we actually took a stab again and making some parts and we developed a throttle body inlet spacer there's some other like in development parts that are on the car that i can't mention yet but these are some of the parts that we designed in our home garage so these guys are from queens new york george and i spoke we realized that not only are we both from queens but we know some of the same people and then we just found out today that these guys lived one block away from each other we were children staff's giving us all the background [ __ ] on vinnie we just got his yearbook photos little secret i had hair when i was like eight don't let the people know you had hair bro i'm excited to see this matchup i still feel like it's like street car versus race cars i mean i'll be honest i don't know if i'm going to root for the audi but that thing's fast what do you think what oh you know what i think eva uh pass pass can't pass i think it's going to be a really close race modern modern drive mustang no okay i just told you it's going to be a close race it's a tie we're going to tie three times in a row obviously it's in my religion so silver rowdy that thing's quick that thing i'm telling you man so you think it's going to win now i mean you didn't want to pick i didn't want to i didn't want to say it because it could be close but it's hard to bet against that car i agree [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] put him on the other side got more grip [Music] [Music] [Music] oh um all right so he jumped when there's a you know it's a rate yeah you chase you race but if he's down to go again we can go again i think the evil mission too but that's just a part of it yeah he he jumped on that one i don't know if i jumped or not i just i saw him go down i was like we'll do another one you jump by just a little bit yes but you took him by half a car sick all right so we've done two races first one mitsu clear winner second one while it looked like the rsd one he actually jumped so i'm gonna do another one on that one let's go again um i would love to see them both on the same tire because like considering that that he's on dots and that thing's on mickey's on the same tire that'd be good i'm not just saying it because i love audi it's such a close race i will say he's got your brother on the drop every time evo won hands down but since he was running on some big wrinkle mickeys we decided that we'd let these guys roll race see if maybe that changes things a little bit so here we go this is a roll race just for fun [Applause] that evo's out [Music] well done evo won honestly that was so fun to watch every single time they look they want to just keep going such a good time but yeah i mean look the evo is a race car like it just is it's on big slicks it's mostly gutted it's got a cage that thing's got ac it's got well it's got a lot of stuff i don't know man you can't beat the evil power though i mean you can next time you can come back and we'll bring hank's car we'll bring we'll bring another evo all right all right you want to hear this bad boy joe you got to turn
