this is the car we built uh for for volkswagen for rockstar that is for the formula drift series we did six events with it and then put in some back seats uh and made it into a taxi and now let's check that out i love four racing buckets you say this was built for the formula drift series yeah as in a professional racing cars which you brought to our little fun street car shoes back in the day hey everybody an old man's talking when 20 cars were like 600 horsepower 2015 wasn't really back in the day in terms of in terms of technology and how formula drift cars have kind of progressed over the years you said so five years ago cars are making 600 horsepower we may have had some other formula drift cars on here that we're making i don't know double double that now double down exactly come on yeah no this one's four seater it's super comfy dude that's this is the life wait if you remember vin this car has been in the donut garage yard back in the og days yes i remember i actually can't forget because this man did the best wall drag ever one thing i really like is like you know everyone puts big gussets on their cars because the gusset is a flex in its own regard but then you went the extra step i have no response to that can we can we take a look at what's under here when we were at the garage it was a different color everything was a different color honestly this engine hasn't been opened in you know since the car came out five years ago here come the excuses here's here it is here real changes you know maybe i don't know if i look at this thing eight into one collector this is seven correct all right ls7 it's like no ls yeah it's the most unique sounding ls ever tanner do you do you know what this car weighs uh with me it's about three thousand pounds three thousand pounds and that's about it probably weighs about twenty nine hundred and ten then cause tiny weight advantage we could go dunk him in some water we're gonna wet this down we're gonna have to like if it's a drift taxi he's gonna have to add a couple more people because i brought a street car i brought a knife to a knife my boy kai here has the car mikey's the tuner from insane speed and look there's nothing you can't even you can't say there's nothing even to it it's a mark iv supra these cars own the drag race world like in street racing the mark iv supra is king what's up man so tell us tell us about this mark for supra it's actually a street car that uh we have built together so what's what's a street car to you a street car is a full interior car no gauges um street legal so you got ac full interior as as god intended that's not stocks i've never seen one of these come with an ibm what processor is this thing full leather interior this one was set up originally with an automatic gearbox yes i understand and now you have the actual the proper get rag six speed on it and everything correct so i love the direction that you took with this i wanted to be a street fun fun driver daily driver speaking of drag spec i see you don't really have like a big ol slick in the back you got what size tire is this it's a 335 that's still big though you got some meat can we uh see what's under there well we all know the mark 4 supra came with the 2jz i mean this is standard supra like you got a massive turbo and it has one less turbo than it comes with from the factory bin what uh what turbo is that it's a 67 millimeter is this a supra i think it's a supra a wild larry chan up here i had to do this which larry which way is the wind going can we can we get a oh there yeah it's southwest for sure hold on how much power uh 720 720 and what is it what does this car weigh about 3 900. 3900 pounds look how gorgeous it is it's a pretty little streetcar hypertune manifold i love this see it's got the ac compressor in there still we here at hoonigan have an affinity for high-powered cars that still have air conditioning so we point it out on every build so we got 700 horsepower super that weighs almost 4 000 pounds versus volkswagen passat with an ls that weighs 3 000 pounds i think the turbo is gonna take it it hurt we're gonna we're gonna race a mark four super volatile versus a volkswagen passat who do you think's gonna win the paperwork says this car is gonna smoke it you need about three lengths mark four supra we need to start even well you know what if you lose everyone expected a volkswagen passat to lose to mark iv supra so it's fine fair enough easy i'm a fitness instructor [Music] round [Music] there you told you all go told you all [Applause] [Music] [Applause] right there was release an extra 500 horsepower super launched they were nice and then he like bogged tanner pulled and then he hit boost and says man this is gonna get wild yes [Music] [Music] me i don't know who it was that was close [Music] the supra he is afraid to lay into it the thing is squirrel [Music] what's a good roll race speed for you 40. i've never tried this thing what would be good second gear gear 50. all right so they want to do a 50 mile an hour roll race let's do roll race from 50 to the first cone the first car okay [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] not right [Applause] you still got him did you take him down there you want to do a ballast dude that was sick by the way you were both supposed to race to the first cone all three of you they want to ballast it by almost the weight difference so it should be scattered and hurt big boys club just kept like getting all the big boys in there holy crap look how tiny this car looks now yeah look at this guy yeah this is is this like a compact oh oh this thing's slime you're rubbing all right that looks good okay so they're gonna run again we're gonna go for a dig the extra i don't know nine thousand pounds inside his car [Music] oh that's all good [Music] hmm [Music] clutch is [Music] my hot [Applause] [Laughter] what would actually win in this race who won the last one with us in the car i wasn't paying attention i was having too much fun i was just like yeah it just if we learned anything we know that hurt scotto and myself are good at one thing balanced being
