lsx 427 one compression it made about 1700 on 21 pounds of boost 1700 are you running 17 right now no we're going to turn it down just a little bit a little bit where do you normally run we'll start at 15. that just turned down to 15. yeah so what uh i mean this is a purpose-built drag car not a street car right yeah it's usually at the track we usually run 30 plus pounds of boost what does it make of 30. it goes it should make i don't know 1800 2 000 something all right so what does this thing weigh 3 200 with uh without without me in it what uh what gearbox it's a powerglide power of course what size tire you got on this 2028 yeah 28 10.5 that's crazy a 10-5 you ever drive this thing not on a prep surface here and there yeah yeah so you have some experience on asphalt yeah here style intake manifold on it it was untested uh we got the thing assembled they didn't have the right hardware in it and it literally just split in half the hinges were still there in part like i was in the car like i was like what the jesus this thing looks like it's all fiberglass or carbon right it's got stock fenders oh it does okay oe fenders we have stock lights here you got fog lights yeah you know you take a look under the hood yeah i don't have a hood prop they're a little heavy i'll i'll be right back i mean this guy didn't even bring a hood so that's that's basically what i'm good for wow so this is a vr 38 yep yeah it's a regular gtr motor is it punched out this one is a four one it's a stock bore but it's got a stroker crank i mean this is not a stock package gtr motor though because usually the turbos are buried now you have them like all the way back near the firewall yeah so that's why we built the car like this because like you said before when the gtrs have the turbos buried down there it's hard to change them and i like racing different classes with the car right now the car's got 68 millimeters on it because a lot of the gtr classes they go by turbo size so right now with the quickest and fastest gtr on 68 and 58. how much does it weigh um 47.50 holy full of that's such a crock of answer what does it really weigh it's like under 3 500 with me in the car 35 with you in the car yeah okay so it's about the same as the morning okay how much power did it make though that you're willing to tell us i made two thousand can we close the hood and look around this interior is just sick bananas it's like all carbon everything on the inside i also wanted to ask you like what's the fastest you've gone on this because i want to say is this a 697 we just went 697 everything is changed and everything is covered in carbon fiber you have i got a stock i got a stock shifter and i got a stock gas pedal why is that like of all the things uh because because it uses so everything in the transmission is electronic it only uses the cable to go from park to neutral and then it has to no shifter position to know reverse first click it into manual mode and then it's obviously drive by wire so i have to keep the stock gas pedal just like when you ls swap something with an ls2 throttle and you have to put you know a gto pedal in it or something like that you said you want to show us a trunk oh yeah is that kimbo slice kimbo slice is that the name of the car yeah so what are we working with back here uh nothing i just uh saw you were interested in the carbon goddamn this is gonna be a real race we're doing three races right yeah three races we generally start thousand foot heads up everything else is kind of up to you guys though i say we do a eighth mile you know first race uh heads up heads up you're not going to give my boy the jump or anything here no on the first race well you know you don't even have a hood you can't even fit the engine in here it's so big here's a here's a little problem that we have here we've got 500 and a thousand i know where 660 is that but we don't have no idea what that is start out 500 yeah honestly 500 might work better for you for you no for him like super subtle disc no no that wasn't i must on the street i'll get left on by rear wheel drive cars all the time i don't believe that i swear to god i'm not even all-wheel drive man gtr what are we doing my pick i'm not sure which one i like better but if i was forced to choose i'd go r35 science tells me i should go with the all-wheel drive car but when i heard that the vet wanted to race right off the trailer no test no nothing that's confidence always vote on confidence i'm usually import guy but that looks disgusting i predict the one uh that has don't bet against all-wheel drive on on prep surfaces it's just if you cut back to me predicting the vet i said i'm going against science here science tells me i have to go with the all-wheel drive car always vote on confidence i was going with confidence the confidence of coming off the trailer but you're also you know you're the heavy american car guy i get it congrats sir thank you so you is built for burnout race could be a thing because we currently have two burn out race champions the coal marrow and the donk are both burnout cars champions without ever competing because that's it's
