Avoid making these MISTAKES in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora...

so Avatar frontiers of Pandora is finally here and after clocking about 10 or so hours of play time already there are definitely some things I wish I knew earlier on and some mistakes that could have been easily avoided on my end so today I wanted to go over five mistakes you guys should avoid making in avti frontiers of Pandora now getting straight into it this is probably the biggest mistake that I've made so far and this is to do with the clan Community baskets now don't stress I won't be talking any spoilers here whatsoever but probably around an hour and a half or 2 hours into the game you will get to a certain location in the game and it will reveal these Community baskets which is essentially a way to earn Clan favor with the specific clan that you're in or I guess the part of the map that you're actually in at that point now these Community baskets allow you to pretty much contribute items to the clan and that will earn you Clan favor meaning that different characters within that Clan will allow you to get free items and obviously the more Clan favor that you have the better items that they will give you both items you can use straight away as well as other stuff that can help help you craft better items yourself now what I did when I first got to these Community baskets was I was just pretty much putting anything in there trying to get that Clan favor up as much as I could but it turns out that each basket only actually asks for one specific item and to find out what that is you just need to hover your cursor over the text in the bottom right that says gather a contribution for a clan once you do that it will pretty much tell you what they actually need and it will give you the option to track that item as well so it's going to make it a lot easier to find that specific item but it's also going to show you that you only need to give them that item and any of the other items you're giving them you're not really gaining anything in return there and instead you're actually just giving them a bunch of stuff that you could use down the line but unfortunately once you give it to them you will never get those back obviously you can get more but you're giving away a bunch of stuff that you don't actually need to give away do not make that mistake definitely just stick to what they actually want and track those items as well so that you can earn more and that will not only save you a lot of time getting that Clan favor up but it will save you a lot of time in terms of just keeping the item it that you've got which you can then no doubt use at a later date now the next mistake you guys can definitely make is actually to do with the skill tree and this is something that I kind of talk about in a lot of different games that I cover because in this game just like many other games out there there is no Reb option when it comes to the skill treat now there is one item on the skill tree that is called unknown memory and this is something that we unlock later in the game now I obviously haven't finished yet because the game is literally just come out in the last day or so so keep in mind that skill that is called unknown memory that in itself may actually become a Respec down the line I'm not too sure as yet but I do know that at least early on in the game you will not be able to Respec your skill points and therefore it is definitely important to actually look at what you are unlocking not only the direct one that you're about to unlock but just make sure that the ones following that are actually worth unlocking as well to make sure that you're pretty much following the right path you might buy something with a skill point right now that seems really good but then the next two items that are locked behind that for example are not really worth it at which point you've potentially wasted a skill point there that you could have spent somewhere else to get some really I guess more important upgrades so take a look at the skill tree in depth before you start spending those skill points and that will potentially save you guys a lot of pain now before we go any further if you guys are enjoying the next thing on the list here is something that I have definitely made this mistake a lot of times early on in the game because I won't lie this game is actually a little bit harder than I initially thought it would be I am playing on the hard difficulty to be fair but even dropping it down to the medium difficulty this game is still pretty damn tough compared to what I expected it to be one mistake that I was making very early on was pretty much just not having all of the items I would need heading into battle and the tip that I would give here is essentially just never head out into the Wilderness unprepared you always want to have some food and some ammo you always want to make sure you have your little Health pods that allow you to heal even if you think it is just a short walk to your next objective you never know what is going to pop up on this planet of Pandora there are so many enemies out there even a lot of the wildlife will start attacking you and if you don't have any food and especially if you don't have any ammo or you know items to craft more ammo you're going to run into a hell of a lot of trouble so that is something that I was definitely making a mistake with early on not so much in terms of the ammo I think that one is kind of a given but always have food in your inventory and once you get to the point where you can actually cook food as well be sure to cook that food instead of eating it raw because that in itself is going to save you a lot of resources as well as a lot of time now the next mistake that I made when I was playing was spending a lot of time early on just exploring the map and trying to find a bunch of cool things not to say that that is definitely a bad thing because obviously this game has a very immersive world and it's very fun to just go out there and explore what I will say though is that early on in the game you do probably want to just focus on the main story for probably the first 3 to 4 hours specifically until you have unlocked a bunch of new weapons and especially when you unlock your Eran because at that point the game does open up a hell of a lot and all the stuff that you would have been exploring early on that's not going to go anywhere so if you haven't really played many hours of the game just yet I would definitely recommend just beining that main story get to the section of the game where we've pretty much seen gameplay before in the leadup to the game where we do unlock the rran that is going to really drastically open up this game and from there you can then do as much exploration as you want not only is it going to be more enjoyable because it's a lot faster but it is also easier to do with that Ean as well now the last mistake that is also very easy to make and funnily enough this one actually completely contradicts the last one is that once you do have yourr and the game is kind of opened up a little bit I would recommend definitely exploring as much as you can alongside obviously still doing the main story as much as it is good to beine that main story early on if you do that later in the game you are actually going to be well underleveled for all the missions in that sort of end game and from everything that I've heard it is going to be very very difficult if for example the miss requires you to be level 20 and you're only level 15 or 16 at that point you're potentially not going to be able to even finish those missions even if you are playing on easy in order to avoid that once you do have your Ean in the game is kind of opened up a little bit I would definitely recommend exploring there are a bunch of really good hidden upgrades and bonuses that will make the game a lot easier especially in those late game stages as well as obviously just being a really fun way to play the game this is a very immersive world like I mentioned and I think it is the type of game that is going to be a lot of fun to just wander around and explore and try and find all the cool upgrades so like I said this one is essentially the complete opposite of the last tip it essentially just flips once you get to a certain point in the game obviously it is completely up to you guys how you decide to play the game I'm not going to try and gatekeep certain ways or certain play Styles but I would definitely recommend if you are interested even remotely in exploring once you do have your ran be sure to kind of balance Exploration with doing the main missions otherwise you would definitely run into a lot of trouble later on in the game and then you are pretty much going to be forced to do a bunch of exploration to unlock all of those upgrades that you'll need later in the game so hopefully I've helped you guys avoid a few mistakes I definitely would have loved to hear some of this before I started playing because there's a lot of stuff that I would have done differently had I known this earlier on and if it did help you guys out be sure to hit that
