water earth fire and air the world of avatar is in shambles it is 20 years after sosan's comet where aang died to fire lord ozai the world has been without an avatar for quite some time the northern water tribe mysteriously vanished into the icy tundra after the earth kingdom fell the only unknown land to the fire nation is the foggy swamp inside the foggy swamp a tribe of waterbenders has been protecting it for years this swamp holds the balance of the world in its binds all right there billy give me your best shot i can dodge it i'm as fast as a spawn possum are you sure cody what if i hit elders that live up here wow so everything the swamp touches is our kingdom will really uh it's not really our kingdom it's the trees kingdom right we don't own any of this the trees kingdom we're the protectors of the swamp if the fire nation with fire lord ozil ever come here we gotta destroy them they have the earth getting them surrounded and they they own every part of it but they don't own ability and i can also pick up water and toss it a little bit i mean it doesn't go that far but i will keep trading let's try to do the water arc ability i think i can probably do five to seven damage with this thing well i'm a little embarrassed i don't know how to do the other types of element bending i mean earth bending i've never even moved the ground fire bending there's never been a flame or even a bit of heat cody why aren't you training uh i i've been training i i've been practicing all week and i'm a really good water bender watch this and go around you and then well why don't you show me what you got uh okay so water arc i've asked in this and then i kind of made this ability myself a bubble i called the bubbler so slow people down feel like chasing me and i'm like boo boo and i toss it in the air and then i run away um also this yes the waves i mean they could probably move that tortoise uh i struggle aiming it but i can jump over here there i hit the tortoise what about your fingers do you feel any heat no have you felt any crumbling beneath your feet as you walk no what about uh when you jump do you feel lighter almost as though a surge of wind is coming up i i've never earthbanded i've never abandoned and never firebanded i've only ever been able to water bendy and i i think you might actually have the wrong person you know what i've been practicing all week and trying and then i just gave up on learning the other elements and i just did water bending i i don't think i'm the avatar the elements take time to master my friend but pretty soon you will be do it huh well what's the correct way to do it then you're really trapped in there oh there you go well earthbenders have uh learned this technique over the many many many generations do you know how to perhaps dance uh dance yes uh the swamp people aren't really dancers per se we do know some dances but uh they're not you're telling me you've never learned any kind of bending dance in your travels i mean when we want to move the boats in the swamp there is like a little move our arms all around but i was never good at it it makes our boats in like speed boats it's kind of cool it speeds them up avatar you're gonna you're gonna have to learn to dance uh i hate to get it to you but in order to feel one with the ground you kind of gotta feel the rhythm of the rock solid it's like that all right well listen to me here's the technique obviously breathe deep in and out and then just feel like you're melting into the ground like your feet are one on its surface feel anchored to the ground i can't know what's around you well yeah that's the right idea but be strong picture your body as an entire rock i am rock i am rock you are earth earth i am earth have you mastered air bending
