ARK: Survival Ascended | Simple House | Build Tutorial

hello everyone my name is chips and in this video I'll be showing you how to build this simple house in Ark survival ascended for those of you that are new to the channel this video is going to be a stepbystep walkthrough video with voice over instructions making it super simple for you to get this build done on your Ark and on the screen right now you will see a full list of building materials you will need for this build as well as the map cords where I built this on the island you can also find all of this in the description below but anyways with all of that said I just want to tell you all thank you so much for being here today checking out this video and let's go ahead and let's get to building all right so the first thing we're going to do is add the foundation for our build so you'll see I have a stone foundation already placed I'm going to come to the right of that and add six more Stone [Music] foundations now I'm going to add another row of seven in front of that now I'm going to count two foundations so one two come to the third one and add one more right here and one more right here [Music] next we going to come to this left side right here and get out a stone wall and we're going to cycle through until we have the stone door frame that has the top portion still on it go ahead and place one of those right here as well as in the next spot we're going to skip the next two spots and place one more right here as well as the next two spots to the right then I'm going to come to the back side and right here on this side I'm going to add two more right here I'm then going to come all the way over here to the right and place two more right [Music] here all right now here on the back side of our build where we have these three open foundations we're again going to get out a stone wall and this time we're going to cycle through until we have the stone window frame option Place one right here as well as one right here now on this spot right here we're going to cycle back to the stone wall and place place it right here I'm going to come around to the side and place a stone wall on each of these and then do the same thing over here on this [Music] side next I'm going to get out a stone quarter wall and I'm just going to place a line of these across the top of everything that we just [Music] placed then once you have those done come back to one of our sides here and get out a stone sloped wall we're going to place one right here and then rotate through these snap points until you get the one that snaps like this so that they're coming to a point go ahead and do that on the other side as [Music] well now starting off here on the front left side of our build I'm going to get out a stone pill pillar and place one right here in the middle Place one another one right here and another one right here and then add one more below each of those as well as adding one more here above on the end so that it sticks above our wall just a little bit I'm going to come over here and add another one right here in the middle of our wall and then three more to the side add another one below each of those and then come back to the end and add another one on top now I'm going to go ahead and switch that pillar to a beam and go ahead and place one right here another one right here and another one right here come over to the left side again and place two more just like [Music] this now on the back side of the build on the left side we're again going to get out a stone pillar and place it right here in the middle of the wall add another one right here and one more right here add one below each of those and then again on the end add one more on top we'll come over here to the right side and place one again right here on the edge another one right here and one more right here one more below each of those and again one here on top of the end I'll then switch it to beam and place a line of these across until you reach the other pillar on the other end [Music] now on one of the sides of our build we're again going to get out a stone pillar and we're going to rotate through the snap point until you get the one that is placing sort of in the middle of these walls like this and then go ahead and add one more on top of it so it sticks a little bit above our Point go ahead and repeat this step on the other side [Music] all right now back here on the front left side of the build the next thing I'm going to do is get out a stone quarter wall and this time cycle through until we have the stone railing option and now normally I build with my HUD off because it looks a little bit nicer for the video but I'm going to turn it on for this step to explain things to you a little bit better so we have the HUD on now and we have the Crosshair and what I'm going to be looking for is this snap point right here where the stone railing is crossing upward on that left side door frame now what I found is the best way to get this snap point is if you put your Crosshair on the right side door frame it'll actually want to snap to the left side so I'm going to go ahead and place that and then I'm going to switch my Crosshair to the left side and you'll see the railing will place on the right side so go ahead and place one right there and then repeat this just a little bit up to get them above the one you just placed so like that and then like this so should now look like that I'm going to come over here to the right side I'm going to skip this door frame that's going to be our actual entry way and I'm going to do the same thing right here so again get out of railing look at this side to get that snap point this side to get that one and then just repeat it on the top I'm now going to go around to the back side of the build and do the same thing on these last four back here on this side now I'm going to come to that spot that I mentioned would be our door and get out a stone roof and cycle through until we have the stone stair option go ahead and place one right here I'm then going to get out a reinforced short door and this time I'm going to cycle through the snap point until I get the one where the arrow is pointing on the left side of our doorway place that right there like this and the reason I'm placing it like that is so if we're exiting out of our house and we open the door it opens this way and does not block our path of exit now I'm going to go to where we have these windows and get out our reinforced window and again I'm going to cycle through the snap point until I get the one where the arrow is on the bottom so placing it like that and do the same thing right here and then you can go ahead and open those up so that they Point [Music] down now starting off on the back side of our build I'm going to get out a wooden roof and I'm actually going to flip this over so that the side that is on the bottom is now facing on the top so it should look like that go ahead and add a line of these across until you reach our other end I'll then swing around here to the front side and place two more right here leave this Gap right here open and place three more over here now that I have that done I'm going to get out a wooden pillar and I'm going to cycle through until I have the beam option and place one right here and just take a line all the way across I'll then add two more right here at the bottom of this side three more over here and then go around to the back and add seven more across the bottom over [Music] here now I'm going to come to the top of our roof here and get out a wood quarter wall and cycle through until I have the wood railing go ahead and place one right here as well as one right here I'm going to skip these middle two spots and place three more on the top right here then I'm going to come to this bottom beam right here and get out of the wood railing again and this time I'm going to flip it upside down so it's facing up like this and add three more I'll come over here and add two more like that right here then I'll go around to the back side and add seven more across this bottom beam and then I'm going to come to my side here and add one going up the side like this and like this and just repeat that on the other [Music] end next we're going to build up the tower starting off with two stone walls right here on the side of this Foundation like this two more on each of these front foundations and then two more here on this side now I'll come to the top of one of these walls and right here on the corner get out stone quarter walls and place two on each side of the corner just like this do that again on this corner then I'll come up on top of that and get out stone quarter ceilings and place a line of four coming across across the front go to one of our sides here and place three more taking us to the back Place three more connecting us to the other side and two more to connect this now right here on the front I'm going to get out stone quarter ceilings again and hang two of them out from these middle two ceilings just like this go and do that over here on this side and then again over here here on this side now I'm going to come underneath where I just placed those ceilings and get out a stone sloped wall and I'm going to rotate through the snap point until I find the one that is hanging inward like this go ahead and place it and do the same thing over here go ahead and repeat this on those other two portions where we just placed those [Music] ceilings once you have all of those placed go back underneath here and get out a a stone roof and you're going to again rotate through the snap point until you find the one that is hanging inward like this and then go ahead and flip it upside down so that the smooth Stone side is facing you go ahead and do that on the other two as [Music] well now we're going to fill in some spaces below the portions we just placed starting off right here on the front we'll place two stone quarter walls to fill in this Gap come around to one of the sides and place a stone quarter wall right here as well as one hanging down right here then get out a stone sloped wall and just rotate through the snap point until you get the one that will fill in that gap for us so like this go ahead and do the same thing over on the other side and then finally come here to the back side and place stone quarter walls across the bottom right here to fill in this [Music] gap for this next step I'm again going to get out stone quarter walls and this time I'm going to switch them to the stone railing option and I'm going to be looking for the snap point that is placing right here across the front of this portion we hung out go ahead and add one to the side right here and the side right here and then do this on the other two portions that we hung out as well now that we have that done I'm going to come back here to the front and get out a regular stone wall and just Place one right here like this do that again right here and then repeat this on the other three [Music] sides and now finally for this step I'm going to get out a stone quarter wall again and rotate back to the quarter wall and just place a line of these going around the top of those stone walls now here at the top I'm going to place a ring of stone quarter ceilings on the inside leaving the center for blocks open then to fill that in I'm going to get out a stone ceiling and cycle through until we have the reinforced seller door option and you're going to want to make sure you're getting the snap point where it's opening towards the front of our build so if you cycle through the snap Point you'll notice it'll turn and you'll have it placing like this just go ahead and make sure that that opens so that the door opens towards the front of the build like that continuing here on top I'm going to get out a stone regular wall and I'm going to rotate through it until I get the stone door frame with the top open like this goad and place one of these going all the way around I'm then going to get out a wooden quarter wall and I'm going to rotate again through until I get the wooden railing option and I'm going to place that down right here but first i'm going to flip it upside down so that it looks looks like this and just continue placing these all the way around this [Music] level next I'm going to add all of our Stone pillars to our Tower here so pay close attention as we go through starting off here on one of the corners on the front side I'm going to place one up here in line with that door frame go ahead and take them down on the corner until you get into the ground like so do that again here on the other corner on the front it should be six total pillars now I'm going to come to the back corner and place one right here and then add two more below it to get us into that roof do the same thing on the other corner now on the top I'm going to add one more right here in the center and one below it do that on the other three sides as well then I'm going to come down here to the ground and on the center of our frontmost portion I'm going to place one right here one below it and one above it and then I'm going to come over here to the side and just add one more right here where we already have some and do the same thing right over here all right now here on the inside inside the build we're just going to do a few quick things to clean this up a little bit so right here where our Tower entry is I'm going to go ahead and get out a stone wall and fill in this spot right here just like this I'll do the same thing here on the side on this side as well and then also hanging down right here I'm then going to go ahead and add another stone wall on top of each one of those and then add a stone quarter wall on top of each of those [Music] those then I'm going to go ahead and get out a wooden ladder and I'm going to place it right here like this add another one on top and one more down below it which will give us access to go up there and open or close our reinforced Cellar Door all right everyone that is going to do it for this build I have gone ahead and applied a quick paint Scheme done a little bit of decorating as well as just bringing some stuff in to show you how you can use this space so you'll notice the only thing I've really done for the paint is painting the pillars with a darker gray color just to kind of help them stand off a little bit from the rest of the stone and then you'll see here as far as decorations go I've just brought in a little bit of clutter a few plants here on the front and then if we go around the back side you'll see we have our handy dandy metal gatherer hanging out here by our two windows and that's because I've put forges on the inside where we can drop metal off Through the Windows right there quick and easy to get the metal inside and cooking if we head inside like I said you got the forges right there a Smithy in the middle of them got some storage bins lined up right here a little bedroom area over here and then over here we've got our mortar and pestle for making our narcotics and some preserving bins for you know keeping our stuff nice and cool I also have a little area over here where we have a Pteranodon sitting and you can actually yeah you can fly him in through that uh what's it Cellar Door yeah the through the Cellar Door up there so you can fly him right in there land him and then go up there and shut it if you want just to keep him safe inside here this would make a pretty nice like little Hilltop metal Gathering base I think um if you just wanted to have something where you could gather metal up on the hill and start cooking it all right
