ARK Survival Ascended - 10 Building Tips For Beginners

hey there are you new to Arc ascended and tired of this [Music] happening do you want to be the very best the best there ever was well in this video I'll give you 10 building tips that might make a difference in your game play so you can go from living like this to living like this hello my name is m and I like helping people learn from my mistakes if you play Arc then you're probably familiar with some of this information but stick around and you might learn a new trick or enjoy a few minutes of art gameplay everyone has to start somewhere so anything is better than nothing well almost anything a well-made base will protect you from unwanted guests and extreme heat or cold but make sure that you do not add too many windows or else the insulation buff will will be diminished try not to build too close to Resource nodes caves or important din spawns or else they could function improperly foundations can be placed almost anywhere and will snap to each other as long as they're not blocked this even applies underwater building as you go will allow you to accumulate building Parts quicker than bringing the material back to your base I like to bring a smothie or Beaver with me so I can craft far from base always craft more parts than you need I normally craft extra of every part just in case something doesn't fit in this portion of the video I will give you in-depth examples of starter bases that you might like for Simplicity and comparison sake I did not include ceilings in my calculations but I Tred my best to keep keep everything as similar as possible if you play on PVP servers or already make full metal bases this part of the video does not apply to [Music] you gate bases are the most costly but can be relocated in a matter of seconds you can also use them to house your existing tees or capture new ones however you might want to build a 1ex one or 2x two inside to protect you from heat and cold and to place crafting benches they are my favorite bases to make due to their portability Square Foundation bases are the best for ease of building and material costs but can look quite boring or even strange What triangle Foundation bases are similar to square bases for material costs however they can be more difficult to work with especially with Gates and crafting benches this triangle base is three High just like the square base next to it however you will have six walls left over due to the shape overall you can make the coolest designs with triangle bases to summarize make gate bases for portability or versatility make Square bases for ease of use and make triangle bases for cool designs these Concepts can be applied to wraps [Music] too we're only talking about starter bases here so don't feel limited to one design for your main base whichever design you choose make sure to add as many layers as possible some bigger dinos can still clip through walls and hurt you the last and most important tip is to plan ahead this build took way way longer than I expected because I didn't plan things out but I'll cover that in another video along with more advanced tips on building well everybody thank you for watching my video I do appreciate you if I've earned it please leave me a like and a subscribe and we'll see you on the next [Applause] one [Music]
