next up we have eighteen-year-old Sophie from Shropshire and 22 year old Danny from Stevenage car salesman Danny met Sophie on a family holiday to Tenerife Oh 100 a I was the one who's doing all the chasing it was love at first sight for she was beautiful when I first set eyes on her yes yeah like three times right no not yet not yet but eventually she gave in and a year in these two as still on cloud nine although Sophie is used to life in the air as an air hostess she flies the skies and the beck and call of passengers but when she's back on terra firma there's nothing Sophie likes more than to be waited on hand and foot we call that folded by who else mom and dad of course me and the race a cup of tea plays two seconds now I know what you're thinking here's another lazy teenager grown accustomed to the easy life cheeky comments to mom noise and ignoring dad each diagnostic but these aren't even Sophie's parents two months ago she moved out of her mom's place to shack up with Danny's mom and dad and sisters Emma and Sarah it was kind of like so well when you're moving in she said well I've moved in now well okay then Sophie's official moving in dinner movie I didn't ask my parents I saw just done it all by myself I had to change our address her driving license and yeah it slightly moved her in back in Stevenage it's food fights of a more literal kind [Music] these two holiday lovebirds still acts like they're on vacation yeah we're supposed to do those following a bit while they're still in the frame have you done today living here is absolutely easy we get everything done for us with her second mom on hand sofa loving Sophie does that need to lift a finger never seen Sophie dust Oh Hoover can't stand Dustin it's just it's just it's horrible which leaves more time for this but life in that cushy love nest is an old peace and light family life is really really busy and there's always people in and out dog wandering and out barking we also have friends come around to just pop in if I can do a policy really I think we know for it Sophie and Danny can't even retreat to the bedroom and there's an airing covered in this room and it's annoying because she don't really get much privacy because obviously his parents come in or sisters coming up like towels or for a new bed in and grabbing her towels the perfect chance for a chat right dad oh but Sophie's made herself at home in the chaos it's her house she left herself to the food in the cupboard she'll text me on mum can you get me some tuna Karen and Gary like having Sophie around Sophie's much like a third daughter Emma actually said it's the sister she never wanted Karen even says that she classes me as her own daughter and I would cross air is my little second mum in Stevenage there's no question of Sophie or Danny venturing into the kitchen so what time is dinner oh wow for dinner sighs your guess is as good as mine can your ego I'm actually hungry it will be ready when it's ready it's gone go whack up a good old dinner just how we'd like it well can we go now oh I get sophists cooking skills have not been surpassed an omelet I did get good GCSE in school at cooking I'm confused again on a nice stir fry potatoes actually won't cook more to st. in ER and they are very yeah I don't need it Danny doesn't like onions fair and my daughter is vegetarian Sophie doesn't like mushrooms or anything it's just yet sometimes absolute nightmare while Karen rushes around selfies nearby with some encouraging words time I sit down to dinner they be finished this by all the cheeky bachi Sophie loves all the business of family life because we met on holiday I already met his parents so we don't have to go through that sort of stage and I should get on with like all this fun we say well I feel yeah I feel really comfortable here over in Stevenage with Danny and Sophie both working full-time there's cash to splash on the finer things in life i buy so shoes clothes chocolates between us we do spend quite a lot of money which hasn't gone unnoticed by Danny's mom and dad Danny and Sophie do not pay any money towards housekeep they like spending their money on themselves I see in parks came to the zoo I love trainers and Jackie's cinema bowling I skate in this is shopping Vale Gary okay you need to tell them the interview you did a shopping I don't know what it costs I do a bulk shop I spent a fortune and then I'm buying stuff every night I don't think they realize that you have to pay for stuff like water gas electricity ill mounts up but Sophie and Danny aren't interested in household bills the day they will move out we can put flags out I love them but I wish they'd clear well but actually Karen the feeling's mutual my parents are always constantly nagging me about stupid stuff it'd be lovely together this house or I don't have any nagging whatsoever I want to move out the most I'm ready to go that one step further in my life but Danny's maturity only stretches so far no chance no chance I wanted me about four I like I like it here as well how will they cope with a week in the real world kernel oil we're giving them the funds they need to rent a home of their own the Son Doong but it's the same amount they doubt if they were doing it for real nice [Music] luckily in Stevenage all I'm really excited Danny's enthusiasm about escape in the airing cupboard is infectious they're easily sold on the perfect pad but will they cope away from Karen's cooking and their hectic happy home well it's soon time to pack those bags and find out over in Stevenage doting Danny's desperate to feather his new love nest somewhere spells and candles can do ya hmm I don't think Sophie's that first we don't too much Danny wants it feel more homely I guess um I don't really know why well because it's your home maybe teddy bear for the bed no he's more space our pictures can't leave them behind patter quite a lot photos of me so if there's a big photo of Alfie they're so dogs come along with us as well with Danny packing everything possible there's just time to raid the kitchen and right one last heartfelt poignant farewell no oh dude nearly um time to take a bath of the house bring it on unloaded unpacked and the battle with the Batlin and warm and back in Stevenage luxury living Sophie and Danny have their own money troubles I won't get my nails done massage 20 pounds nice yeah if you're getting your track yeah but when it comes to food compromise is not an option so I think we should just boil our basics no I'm not having basic food so off to the shops to work on those bargaining skills because we spend like 16 pounds on this shot how are you gonna afford to get shopping for the rest of the week okay we'll be fine we'll just get basic stuff and I mean basic stuff okay yes sir selves taken a new domestic responsibilities very seriously and in Stevenage there's no water Sophie and Danny's attempt to cook their first dinner has run into a problem we have to try to figure out where the main water pipe is right Danny here's your chance to be the knight in shining armor this is when we need your mom and dad the reality of what she's given up is sinking in for Sophie I'm feeling quite scared at the minute in Daniel upstairs in ourselves and not depend on Karen or Gary so it will be a massive change for us in Stevenage lovebirds Danny and Sophie are waking up for the first time in their new love nest it's nice backing up I'm not having people waking us up I just wake up when you wanna wake up yeah mr. mum and dad mm not really I'm sure I give it time I will be but it's dust Oz be nagged Danny's love in his noon life but with her man out to work their new house is a little Duke quiet for Sophie with my job I work and then have like a chunk of days off then wild Danny's at work I'm at home on my own now it's just silent really I'm so used to people like walking in and out of like Danny's house I'm so like alone and bored here and I feel like if I was it done is now I'd have company cause there's always people in the house in need of some comfort food Sophie tries at G key texts to a favorite restaurant because we've got no food in the house or text one of Donnie's sisters Anna I'm asking her to come around ask if she can bring me some food round but she said no it's time to raid the kitty to buy a few essentials why after Dibby shopping today because I don't starve so Sophie knocks up one of her world-famous omelettes as you can see it's pretty yeah mashup but it will take more than comfort food to shake her homesick blues I think it's weird eating on my own because there's always someone at the house and Karen and Gary's a bit lonely as Sophie learns that lunch for one is not much fun change is a over in Stevenage Duke Boredoms had one a positive effect on Sophie she's experimenting with a previously on domestic appliance perhaps tar there's no stoppin I think you'll find they're probably there you go there you go excuse independent life have kick-started the domestic goddess and soul food to all be it ever looked at one I miss how I'm doing all the chores she's the one that normally does it and then now I'm doing it and it just doesn't feel right with the chores out of the way there's just enough time to bask in the glow of a job well done I reckon so Stan absolutely nothing today I think she's a sat down cook something for herself that's about it as far as he's got probably honey I'm home today more than you probably will be done kiss done you're washing up that you left on the side yeah I was gonna do it when you're home I've done the here friend have you so it's time for a hard-earned dinner after nail in the house work sofie's looking to extend a repertoire it says most microwave so she think I'll be alright in the oven no probably not are you mad dumping yeah why not cuz it ain't done I am really missing my mom's cooking it just makes you realize since not being here like your mom being around cooking that yeah that's you missing the the proper dinners George cold in the middle yeah mmm like Baked Alaska maybe we should put the bags in not the BAPS you don't cost you to get microwavable burgers so has failing the notorious microwave burger challenge dampened this couples spirits living mine is everything I made so far I just love to freedom just love doing what I want to do when I want to do it how I want to do it I do enjoy the privacy in the space I am feeling a bit maybe nearer to movin out but I miss layers of other things Donnie's hey as well Danny still got some convincing to do but that's not his only challenge tomorrow they've got the parents coming for dinner can they impress supermom Karen wilt Sophie and Danny of more look when they cook for his parents over in Stevenage six o'clock now parents are doing an hour's time and could be a rush so what Sophie the culinary assassin got up her sleeve this time round I'm hoping Danny and Sophie have cooked us a really nice meal be nice to taste their cooking and I haven't been down to town and ported from a takeaway not take away but the crafty couple have been down to the local supermarket to pick up some ready-made gourmet chicken mum's the word yeah I think mum will be impressed how did chicken and bacon looks all nicely wrapped on if they ask but did I prepare all myself I'll be like of course I did wait course we did they'll never believe you Sophie right Showtime welcome to the crimp impressed Thanks nice good start Oh spoke too soon well yeah I did say to put it on before didn't I well why didn't you just do it listen to me I mean we'd be near by now that's still wrong not even lying no small yeah why is that pink man there's no juice he's coming out huge so dumb nice play it cool Danny the shopbot main course is finally served I'm super cook Karen can't wait to get Sophie's secret recipe and put the chicken sort of in half and then stuff their cheese in and then share out the bacon round these first chicken what did you buy frozen just the ones a lot like these I'm complete I didn't think we'd actually managed to pull this off they think they falter no chance guys we did before yeah they may have been rumbled but mom Karen is still at breast I'm really proud of Danny and Sophie I'm considering they don't really do anything in the house and they've gone to cook in a three-course meal and living on their own yeah they have made me proud nice one guys and Danny's gained a whole new perspective on what Karen does for him when Mom mostly has a full day at work I learned her what she actually does go through even to cook for dinners let alone just one dinner we cook tonight so for us to cook what we've actually cooked I think they're really surprised and really proud of us in Stevenage Danny's still desperate to persuade Sophie to stay in their house but she's more interested in playtime even they're like running a butcher I still want to sort of goes go on some days out just not as many as we used to get money to limit it to so what do you state then looking out there it's gonna be really sunny and hot go crazy go crazy go [Music] it's really nice been inside my so just do a day old miss lovely we're bloody Isis find it really enjoyable today yeah he's won a crazy golf but Danny's more interested in winning Sophie over to his move out mission time for a heart-to-heart but you've been lonely no and I've been at work so is it quite nice for you to do this with me it's been nice but like we won't be able to do it a lot because we are in a budget and we would have to make a lot of sacrifices if we do decide to move out because I'm still young I still want to go out clubbin I still want to enjoy myself not have to think about bills to pay would you sacrifice it like you're massaging your nails instead of doing that maybe you might have enough money to go out for one that yeah I mean yeah maybe not massage now that would sacrifice didn't don't mind you can't go out because you don't have any money of me from Shropshire till I actually moved into daddy's parents house so I've like said bye to my mom said bye to all my friends and then I feel like I'm making even more so more like sacrifices to move into our own place like my nails massage everything really I am feeling a sort of upset quite surprising way so feels by everything I'm willing to give up loads of things to make it work for both of us whereas so not understand there yet in a bid to get Sophie fully onboard with their new life together Danny revs up the house party boss to show her they're not too broke to have a bash I'm hoping me so have a fun night together tonight just doesn't need to go out to have a good time so I'm hoping tonight will show whether she can actually enjoy yourself being in these four walls in the flat because I like partying myself I think tonight is gonna be like a good night and I'm gonna have a few drinks and just gonna let my hair down and just see what happens at the end [Music] [Music] Donnie's drug that I think Tony's ready drum so looks out here on a good time and good they end their week in a high and they've even submit so we're gonna go to a pub or nightclub or something and Spartan and the rest of our porch in Sophie's enjoying her freedom but is she prepared to make it permanent in Stevenage Danny and Sophie are all out of days it's time to make their decision to either stay in the flat or go back to Danny's family home what would be really tough I thought it'd be a lot hardening at she was but I'll let you really enjoyed myself and I found it really easy really enjoyed like the space and the privacy like for me and Danny I really know what to do I just hope so feels the same way after this experience so do you feel like my mind's made up [Music] before Karen and Gary here the couple's decision they get to see how this week's gone and you guys do for me a lot more when you come home off a long day at work cooking for different dinners I was talking with one about just having you in space how did that feel it I hope I found a bit too quiet like the first morning woke up and we're like no but it just felt so good just to have the space in the privacy okay so what decision of you to come to well I don't know about you but I want to move back in with you only because I don't think I'm ready to live on a budget and sacrifice things out of doing well as I feel I'm ready I want to move out but as inside out so you've come to a position we that we can the go back I'm with you devastated that you're dead excited glad you're moving back home but things are gonna have to change slightly though that's the case you are gonna have to contribute so they house came from there's going to be a few more house rolls the only thing I don't want you to ask me stairs the dust em I do have anything else for the Duster honestly I should I don't I don't understand yeah I think I do room over soon it's just not the right time at MoMA is it it would be nice to have you home I'm feeling a bit guide that we're not moving out we're going back home up in the future that's good hopefully move out soon get married have children they're positive like okay it's just so we can actually save money I think they've actually learned a bit more about each other I think they're happy that we're coming deep down laughing no there'll be coverage I was back with Danny and Sophie's newfound appreciation of what the hotel of mum and dad provides this romantic couple have decided to stop living with their heads in the clouds and move back home to plan for the future
