that kind of color that's not like a filipino cuisine yes authentic that the the real yeah you know so we are starting today at the queen sabah restaurant [Music] what do you mean starting today there is more than one oh yeah yeah yeah we're giving you the whole filipino experience from a cafeteria to street food so without further ado let's eat so good here chef [Music] we've heard so much about your recipe i'm very happy bless you so chef veron is the owner of this restaurant and she is the head chef so she's going to be responsible for everything that we're eating and for those she's also a guinness world record holder yeah right there is the guinness world record certificate that chaperone and the queen saba restaurant have received the most varieties of desserts little sweet tooth there on display is 2586. i mean that's a lot of sweets congratulations on that and are we going to be trying some of those desserts that were in the wreck so what more can we say about this restaurant can we eat yeah she wants to actually she makes a good point she makes a good point let's get to the food yeah let's start the eating all right even the chef's hiding up like guys just could you just want to give a shout out for the person responsible no no don't you no no there she is this is elizabeth you may you may know her from i get eliza right but i get villanova right there villanueva she is a filipina who was raised in the uae and you may remember her we did a video on her mom uh can you show some b-roll and now here she is starting her social media agency check out the channel there we've been building up for this video a long time so the first dish we're gonna be trying is the classic probably the most known dish around the world is chicken adobo did i say right come on all right thank god and we're going to give you our thoughts on how we feel i love the sort of saltiness it's nice and salty and the rice sort of balances it out are we ready [Music] i think we can end the video but for the sake of experiment and sharing the knowledge of filipino cuisine to the world we're going to keep going [Music] the next dish there's another dish we're on salama time the next dish is heap which is a garlic and butter shrimp and this is the one i'm most excited about because when i saw it it stuck out i love shrimps i love garlic and i love butter so it's like all the three things i love so [Music] this is more of a eat with your hands thing oh wait i got it i got it you hold the shell down and you see this is the kind of treatment that i have to endure i know you can do it i was just trying to be polite fine [Music] guys for you to understand good food it's silence when people eat something and they are silent that is the sign of excellent cuisine that sound of happiness love joy feelings of emotion what did you think i agree for the first time oh well to think of all the drama between salam and i that it would actually be pran hippon that brought us together who would have thought now the third dish is filipino chicken chop suey with quail eggs i'll give sonama some uh beans and chicken would you like a quail egg madam we're supposed to eat it together you ruined it anyway what do you think of the food now i feel there's no point to me doing that because i'm just like second like we already got sonama's opinion who cares about you chicken adobo and the prawn hippon were very like flavored salt and spice this one seems more relaxed more calm filipino chicken chopped suey with quail egg is this still talking man our fourth dish lupian shanghai and it is a spring roll chicken yeah chicken i love it thank you sweet sour sweet do you ever wonder about that like why do they call it sweet and sour and not sour sweet why is there preference why do you have to be [Music] oh yeah these are good these whenever you get a spring roll right it's always like say it's chicken spring roll it's always vegetables with a little bit of chicken this is chicken with a little bit of vegetables that is a real chef right here these are one of the best spring rolls i've ever had that's before where are you from in the philippines okay all right so here we try lime and it's usually eaten with rice it's got like a little bit of curry coconut yeah coconut cream [Music] see when we work together we solve things she can't stay away from the spring rolls now palabok according to chef and eliza is the most popular dish amongst the filipino community like when they come here this is what they go for any celebrations christmas new year birthdays rice from rice noodles so rice noodles with a seafood sauce mix and shrimps and eggs hey man noodles shrimps and eggs i mean you can't can't really go wrong with that [Music] it's like the waves of the ocean are in my mouth wow i can see why this is the most popular dish now we're having chicken you think this is this is so now we're having just just eat i'll do the no because i was going to tell an emotional story now it's not going to be emotional it's going to be funny because you're there stuffing your face in the background i thought you loved that about me now we're having chicken pancett bihon and the reason i'm excited about this dish the most of every dish is because my mom used to make this for me when i was growing up she learned yeah she used to make it for us and we loved it because who doesn't love noodles right anyway that's the story but now back to the pan set chicken fancy bihon [Music] just took me back to being a child it's so good that is beautiful thank you it's time for the grand finale chevron has prepared this beautiful display [Music] oh my goodness this is [Music] you know you're gonna have to explain to us what this beautiful ensemble that i don't know what to do i'm scared because it looks so beautiful i don't want to ruin it we're having now buchi buchi [Music] even the names are cool coconuts this is my favorite [Music] here's one of the most famous filipino desserts ubi yam i said it right let's go finally there's ubm in here i'm learning glutinous rice this was it wonderful magical it was a journey an adventure through the philippines through their food it is colorful it is exciting it's happy food i i know i understand why everyone is so happy and smiling it's because of the food eliza approves right yes that is do what it is i have no idea so this is going to be a surprise for all of us see you there all right guys [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] you okay are you ready for one more dish because we've done all of this we've done all these dishes but according to eliza she says that in order to be certified kabayans through this food experience we have to try one uh dish is it a dish that's a street food it's a one street food and we're here at the pinoy street food cafe and we are going to try isao what now might be a good time to say what is it we're going to try it then we're going to tell you what
