Love it! My dad had one of these old hand planes (I dont think it was a Liberty Bell) while I was growing up and I recall going out to the garage to watch him work- can still smell the wood shavings. How long did it take to restore?
My wife just got me a No. 135 and 127 liberty bell(the other two in the series) knowing I love restoring old planes and using them after. Cant wait to start. Nice work! What kind of rust remover did you use? I was planning on just using vinegar but sometimes that's not enough.
