was walking the Halls earlier and someone stopped me and introduced themselves to me and they were from Phoenix Arizona they had driven all the way from Phoenix Arizona to be here is there anyone else that's from out of state that's just visiting with us today wow this take me with you no oh you're from here no you you're from Phoenix okay well I was actually in Arizona having lunch with somebody and the waitress came up and said uh you know could I take your order and then she looked at me and she said are you from California I said yeah he said you're not gonna move here are you apparently there's not a fondness of California's moving in but here's the thing we need Christians right here in California we need Christians right here in Yorba Linda Anaheim Hills Orange County California proclaiming uh the glory of the Lord and his worthiness to be praised and you know some of us might be in a place here this morning where we we're singing from you are all things and to you are all things but some of the things that are in my life I do not like some of the situations I'm finding myself in I wish I was not in how can I worship God for that right but here's the thing you know there's there's a lot of religions that claim that their God created everything right and so we can we can worship him for creating all things you know John 1 says that you know Jesus in the beginning was the word the word was with God the Word was God and everything that was created was created through him and so yes we can worship him for creating all things but if we move ahead to Revelation and we peel back the curtain of heaven and we see what's being sung there's two things that are being sung about Holiness is set apart he is perfect he's above everything he's above it all so that I mean that alone makes him worthy of praise but then it says Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive honor and power and wisdom so he's he's already worthy because he's holy but then even more so he displays his love for us and his worthiness of Praise In which no other really every other religion is about either reaching God or transcending and becoming God or just being better and better but here's the thing Christianity is so unique in that God went to Great Lengths to reach us sinners not holy separated by sin but then he who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God and so when we walk through those doors and we sing from you are all things into your all are all things as he created everything and everything was created through him yet he laid down his life for the creation that's a a hard gravity to sit with but man I'm so thankful for it aren't you and so we're going to sing a song in a moment called Living Hope and we have confidence yes that our God is real and he's alive because of what Jesus did on the cross to reconcile us to him but also because of the mg tomb amen we serve a God who is alive we serve a God who is active we serve a God who is moving through his holy spirit to sanctify us and make us more and more into his glorious image and so for that I say you are worthy of praise so let's uh pray and commit our time to the Lord we're also going to receive an offering and there's a link that'll pop up on the screen we uh we facilitate giving we don't solicit it it's just an opportunity and a tool for us to use to glorify his name Agape boxes on the wall as you leave and then if you're a part of this church and you're only meeting with us an hour a week you know we call this a family not an audience well you got to spend more time with your family than one hour a week although some of us are like oh she sounds pretty good just an hour a week with my family and I'm cool with that but uh we want to go deeper we want to do life together so we have Community groups that have started but they're ongoing and so you can jump in at any time and so there's a QR code you can scan if you want to find out more info about that so let's pray even our time to the Lord and then we will sing uh to him because he's worthy he's a little over thankful to be here we are so humbled we are so grateful we are so in awe of who you are and what you've done for us and though we don't understand every circumstance in our life we know that we do not serve a high priest that's unconcerned or unfamiliar with our plights Lord You Are a God that came close you're our God that is close you are God with us Emmanuel so we pray that as you are with us you would turn our hearts to worship you show us ways that we can worship you better Lord sanctify us changes more into your glorious image I think our tithes our offerings our songs our service Our intention to grow in your knowledge of your word we want to carry your light to this lost and dying world or first we need to be changed by it and so thank you that you have gathered us the church to worship you we pray that we would honor you in it it wouldn't be out of some preference of Our Own or that it wouldn't be out of some expectation that is other than just to see you in your Sanctuary to gaze upon your power and your glory and realize next step to plug in the carriage Apple East Anaheim this church so uh Pastor Bob is currently leading us through the Old Testament we're in numbers right now and uh we don't only have a service we have even a dinner before the service so we can feed you both physically and spiritually and we have a new a different meal every week and a beautiful Courtyard and we have a bouncer out there for the kids if you have little ones and this is an incredible time to hang out and we start at 5 30 and we are pastors of mingling out there as well then serve it starts at seven o'clock and during the service we also have simultaneously children's main issue which is God is totally blessed with an incredible team of leaders and just an incredible program we also have youth ministry and even Spanish to be here and uh so yes Amir is going to be speaking in just a moment but before he does just a couple of things one many of you know he has been for years a tour guide and I was very grateful when Pastor Chuck Smith recommended him to me to become our tour guide years ago and uh then even after he began his own Ministry where he is no longer the tour guide he's the Bible teacher and rightly so he's been kind enough to go still with our church and provide Bible teaching so we are going in Lord willing here in just a couple of weeks after it's been three years because of covet so we can't wait to go back and we have an almost full bus we have one seat so if you are that one seat don't say to your husband or wife sorry I'm going don't do that we'll go again but we do actually have a from him but there is one particular book he just sent me and I've been reading it and I want to recommend it to you it's called um Bible prophecies the essentials and very stagner Pastor senior pastor Calvary Chapel of Tustin and Amir who of course do the conferences and talk about prophecy have taken 70 of the most commonly asked questions that they get asked and they many times handle uh and the panel discussion and they put it in writing so if you don't have this book you're going to want it's probably going to answer your question about the Rapture the the tribulation the Millennium the second coming Etc so highly recommended to you all of amir's books are out there at the table afterwards now usually I'll just have them come wrap right now and I know you want to hear from him but I've asked if we could show a video not a long one but it's one that his ministry has produced that gives you a taste of a little bit more than just the Bible preaching that uh Amir does or the very dear to my heart and it's the people of Israel in their blindness unfortunately but before we do that let's ask God to speak to us this morning Father we thank you for your word your word is true that's the truth nothing else around in this world is that diff definitely that precise that accurate that reliable we thank you for that truth and we ask you now that you will sanctify Us by this truth we thank you and we bless you and we want to hear from you today in Jesus name amen amen so um just out of curiosity how many of you are subscribed to the telegram Channel good so you all know what's going on in Iran for example what happened in the last 24 hours while I was sitting here yesterday talking about the need to go after their military infrastructure while I was sitting here drones were exploding in Iran and most of you probably wouldn't know that through your media which I call it the midianites because all they think you need to know is about Britney Spears and other asking money from people pretend to be me and it's very sad but this is it and um let's talk about the mystery of the blindness The Mystery of the blindness nah the portion I want to talk about is from Roman chapter 11 verses 25 to 27. for I do not desire brethren that you should be ignorant of this mystery lest you should be wise in your own opinion that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in and so all Israel will be saved as it is written the deliverer will come out of Zion and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob for this is my Covenant with them when I take away their sins wow this is a an amazing portion of an amazing chapter of an amazing book written by an amazing apostle the Apostle Paul is of all the apostles is the one I identify with the most um and of course the book of Romans is known by so many as the Magna Carta of our faith this is something that you have to understand the poll when he wrote This Book he was not in Rome yet he wrote this book before he ever visited the city of Rome so this book is not to people he know and it's not about things that he's he has heard that happened between them no it's pure Doctrine you see the church in Rome may have been may have started by Romans who return from Jerusalem after they witnessed the event of Pentecost because in Acts chapter 2 verse 10 it speaks of both Jews and Gentiles from Rome that were in Jerusalem during Pentecost witnessing the Holy Spirit coming and of course the birth of the church that time and then they returned brought with them that good news and they started the church over there Romans 15 says I have made it my aim to preach the gospel again Paul is writing this epistle to the Romans before he has ever been to Rome in fact he didn't want to go to Rome yet for a reason I have made it my aim to preach the gospel not where Christ was named lest I should build on another man's Foundation you understand that he said I know there is a church there already I know that Christ is proclaimed there already the priority is to go to where he's not yet proclaimed I don't want to build upon somebody else's Foundation you understand and he says as Isaiah 52 says to whom he was not announced they shall see and to those who have not heard shall understand for this reason I also have been much hindered from coming to you he said God set my priority according to his word and I listened to the Holy Spirit and therefore I have been hindered from coming to you now what is it that he's trying to say he said look everybody wants to go to Rome that's the capital of the Roman Empire Rome controls the worlds of those days of course I want to go to Rome of course I want to have that pin here that says I have been to Rome and of course that I I want to you know be the one that inaugurates the church in but that's not what I go I am not traveling to have those pains and to and to you know be on Instagram and saying I've been to Rome you know I'm here or to have posts or after I'm not doing things for my name's sake he's saying I follow the orders of the Holy Spirit following the scriptures and you know instructions not to build on somebody's Foundation so I'm in Corinth because the remember God spoke to him to stay in Corinth he could have gone to Rome but he was hindered from doing so but when he was in Rome it wasn't at the Marriott or the Intercontinental is actually was under arrest twice in Rome between 61 to 63 A.D that's where he wrote In Rome the letter to the Ephesians Colossians Philippians and Philemon and between 64 to 67 that's the end of his life this is where he wrote second Timothy which was the last letter and if you read Timothy well and specially second Timothy you can see that Paul testifies that he's about to end his life The Book of Romans was written while he was in Corinth to a church Paul had never visited unlike the letters to the Corinthians that dealt with situational issues he dealt with stuff between brothers and sisters stuff that has to do with leadership here it was all about the gospel because you know he knows no one there he's never heard of anything that happened there it's pure gospel and straight from the very beginning we are introduced to a concept and a principle known in the Old Testament and yet unknown to the Gentiles who don't know obviously the Old Testament and he says in Romans 1 16 for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God to what salvation for who everyone who believes you cannot be saved unless you believe oh I was born a Christian one can be born a Christian oh it says on my birth certificate that's a lie it should be said Born Sinner but it says Christian again it's incorrect no one in the history of planet Earth has ever ever been born a Christian who believes but I was a baby and they baptized me yeah but you did not believe folks you cannot be born a believer in order to be saved you have to what be born again which means your first birth means nothing it's the second birth that counts oh I was born born again no you were not no one is born born again you have to be born again to be born again but then he says for it is the power of God to Salvation for everyone who believes but now comes that principle that I'm talking about for they Jew first and also to the Greek now all the Gentiles are warming their engines where is the tomato folks God has an order in which he operates if you don't like it deal with it acts 13 Paul and Barnabas to the Jews in Antioch it was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first this is it no of course they left but they acknowledge it was necessary to the Jew first in Acts 1 8 you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to me in East Anaheim in Whittier and and in also Placentia and no it says in Jerusalem in all Judea and Samaria to the ends of the Earth order from here to here to here to here but I want to be first I'm sorry you know when you drive and you get you get you know let's say you're driving from here to the next in and out and there are three traffic lights you passed the first you passed a second you pass the third and you get to In and Out the first traffic light is the first traffic light is it changing the taste of your In and Out Burger no but it is the first traffic light and then there's the second and then there's the third it doesn't mean the first is better but it's a first to the Jew first doesn't mean they are better it means to the Jew first but Salvation has nothing to do with you being a Jew or not being a Jew it has to do with you being born again so don't be offended when it's to the Jew first that's the order don't be offended that this light is the first light that's the order Romans 2 9 to 12 to 11 just so to settle your mind about to the Jew first tribulation and anguish to Every Soul on every soul of man who does evil of the Jew first and also the Greek now everybody's okay okay even bad things are to do first now I'm happy and also but glory honor peace to everyone who works what is good to do first and also to the Greek for there is what no partiality with God don't we settle that one huh good Amos 3 says hear this word that the Lord has spoken against you o children of Israel against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt saying you only have I known of all the families of the earth therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities so much for the chosen people you see to whom much is given exactly there is responsibility that comes with that choice not just honor and nice and Glory things ladies and gentlemen Galatians 3 says for as many as you were baptized into Christ put and then have put on Christ once we put on Christ that then there is no June or Greek there is neither slave nor free there is neither male nor female for you are all one in Christ so apart from Christ there's a big difference in Jews and Gentiles in Christ there is no difference that's it so why is Paul giving the Jews such an important role in his epistle to the Romans after all he mentions them in so many chapters it's because Romans is about doctoring and God never canceled the Jews God never forgot about the Jews God never replaced the Jews they are there in his plan they are there in his word they are there written on the palm of his hand they're there in his mind on his heart and therefore if you want to understand God and know God and know God's plans and know God's heart you have to mention Israel and you have to talk about it it's doctrinal it's important it's theological so the first thing is Brethren he says don't be ignorant I guess Believers can be ignorant if he's he's not talking to heathens he's talking to the brothers to the Brethren he's talking to the Believers don't be ignorant to be ignorant is to ignore big portions of the Bible and to stick to those you like the most and then to reinterpret the rest based on what you like that's to be ignorant to be ignorant is to believe the lie and reject the truth simply by adjusting things to the way you want them to be and then he said there's a mystery I don't want you to be ignorant of this mystery the way God is dealing with Israel is a mystery there is no other nation that God dealt with the way he's dealing with Israel in Genesis 17 to Abraham he says I will make you exceedingly fruitful I will make nations of you and King shall come from you I will establish my Covenant between me and you and your descendants after you in their generations for an Everlasting Covenant to be God to you and your descendants after you also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger all the land of Canaan Canaan as an everlasting possession and I will be their God it's it's all about God who he is and his unconditional Covenant and and in love for Israel Exodus 33. Moses Moses is telling God therefore I pray if I have found Grace in your sight show me now your way that I may know you and that I may find Grace in your sight and consider that this nation is your people Moses is afraid to get stuck with him all alone he says Lord if you don't take us out of here then don't take me out I mean he says remember they are your people second Samuel David when Nathan you know came to him David is in his beautiful palace made of you know uh cedar wood and he's thinking he's saying God how can I be in such a palace and you you're in a tent I want to build a house for you and David is saying who is like your people like Israel the One Nation on the earth whom God went to redeem for himself as people to make for himself a name David is acknowledging that the nation of Israel it's God people so he can make for himself a name it's not about who they are as much as about the name of God and to do for yourself great and awesome Deeds for your land before your people whom you redeemed for yourself from Egypt the Nations and their gods for you have made your People Israel your very own people forever and you Lord have become their God that's why God loved David so much not because David was perfect he was very imperfect probably what he did is something we would never do yet he repented and he acknowledged God God's character God's plan God's wisdom God's love and God's Covenants he never ever took away things from the word of God Psalm 121 he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep wow God who keeps Israel the one who is keeping Israel is not going to sleep Psalm 135 4 for the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself Israel for his special treasure oh I don't like that verse it's your problem but that's the heart of God Isaiah 44 remember these o Jacob at Israel for you are my servant I have formed you you are my servant o Israel you will not be forgotten by me now this is Isaiah trust me he has witnessed a very sinful Nation Joel 3 for behold in those days and in that time when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem I will also gather all nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat which is the Kidron Valley and I will enter into judgment with them there what is God going to judge the Nations for on account of my people my Heritage Israel whom they have scattered among the nation and they have also divided up my land God will judge the Nations that were there throughout the tribulation he will judge them for what that they have scattered Israel and they divided the land he is judging the Nations not whether they believed in Jesus or not that's the individuals that have to give an account but Nations their judgment will be how they treated Israel wow well I guess they are important to God Zechariah 2 8 for the for this is the Lord of hosts he sent me after glory to the Nations which plunder you for He Who touches you touches the apple of his eye in Romans chapter 9 I tell you the truth in Christ Paul as a Jew from The Tribe of Benjamin who who was actually you know persecuting the church he's now a Believer and he says to the Romans I tell you the truth in Christ I am not lying my conscience also bearing me witness in the holy spirit that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart he says I am so sad for my nation why for I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brother and my countrymen according to the flesh who are Israelites to whom pertain the adoption the glory the covenants the giving of the Lord the service of God and the promises of whom are the fathers and from whom according to the flesh Christ came who is over all the eternally blessed God Amen Paul says if it was possible for just me one person to be a curse that they as a nation can be saved I wish it was possible I I would have chosen that but it's not Moses tried it you cannot believe for someone else you can pray for him you cannot believe instead of him Israel's unfaithfulness does not change God's faithfulness Romans 3 says what advantage then has the Jew or what is the prophet of circumcision well much in every way chiefly because to them were committed the Oracles of God for what if some did not believe will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect certainly not indeed let God Be True in every man a liar he says any Christian that claims that the unfaithfulness of Israel sealed the deal and God has forgotten that nation has to answer me what is it that Paul is talking about right here Romans 11 I say then has God Cast Away his people answer certainly not for I also am an Israelite of the Seed of Abraham of The Tribe of Benjamin God has not Cast Away his people whom he foreknew or do you not know what the scripture says by of Elijah how he pleaded with God against Israel saying Lord they have killed the prophet your prophets and turned and torn down your altars and I alone am left and they seek my life but what does the Divine response say to him I have reserved for myself seven thousand men who have not bound the need to the bowel he's basically saying Elijah it's nice but you know there's many more people who believe in me than you think there are that's the same thing by the way he said to Paul in Corinth stay here because I have many people in this city Jeremiah 31 thus says the Lord God who gives the son for light by day the ordinance of the moon and the stars for light by night who disturbs the sea and its waves Roar the Lord hope host is his name if say if if those ordinances depart from before me says the Lord then the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before me forever you know what that that that portion says as long as you go outside and there is the sun there is the moon and there are the stars Israel as a nation will always stand before God wait wait wait thank you but whatever thank you for the one of you the rest of you are so excited but watch this listen if the ayatollahs want to destroy Israel this is the key God is telling them if you want Israel to cease to exist aim your Rockets to the Stars the moon and this and the sun because only when they will cease to exist Israel will cease from being a nation before God don't waste your ammo on firing rocket towards Israel destroyed the Sun the moon and the stars by the way just between us will there be a day when Israel was seized from being don't answer because you'll be wrong will there be a day when Israel will cease to exist in the sun and the moon and the stars will no longer be there the New Jerusalem because in the New Jerusalem there is no Jew there's no Israel there is only those whose name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life and thankfully it will be when all Israel will be saved but you understand there there's no more Israel there is only those who belong to the lamb and in that City there is no light of the Sun the moon and the stars because the Lamb of God is the menorah God will Malachi chapter or you know the Italian call him Malachi chapter 3 says for I am the Lord I do not change therefore you are not consumed o sons of Jacob Hosea 5 says I will return again to my place until they acknowledge their offense then they will seek my face and in their Affliction they will earnestly seek me that's why I believe the tribulation is for Israel's salvation Isaiah 45 but Israel shall be saved by the Lord with the Everlasting salvation you shall not be ashamed or disgraced forever and ever for thus says the Lord who created the heavens who is God who formed the Earth and made it who has established it who did not create it in vain who formed it to be inhabited I am the lord and there is no other I have not spoken in secret in a dark place of the earth I did not say to the seed of Jacob seek me in vain I the Lord speak righteousness I declare things that are right and that is why Paul is telling the Romans concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake of course the Jewish people let's face it they don't like the faith in Christ Jesus they reject Jesus as Messiah they're not in love with the message of the Cross because there is Blindness there concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers for the gifts and the calling of God are what well Amir are you preaching that Jews will be saved just because they are Jews absolutely not but I'm saying that the church never replaced Israel second Timothy 2 13 if we are faithless he remains faithful because he cannot deny himself Paul also said please don't be wise in your own opinion I guess Believers can be wise in their own opinion oh you should see how many Christians I met that think that they are God's gift to the world and that they know everything they are very wise in their own opinion I landed in the Philippines years ago and I was attacked by a small group of people who said that I'm not Jewish enough since then I started growing a beer so maybe now they'll like me but think about it because I don't the way they think
