American explores Canadian grocery store (tries BAGGED milk and Ketchup chips)

this isn't milk is it so dangerous why why would you put it in a bag really uncomfortable about this whole area hello and welcome to a very special episode of the vlog because today I'm in front of a Canadian grocery store no frills with my non Canadian friend mr. Jason Halle come on in area Jason has never been inside a Canadian grocery store so we thought let's go to no-frills was just a big Canadian grocery store chain and see what the differences are ultimate goal is to find three items to buy bring out and try of things that you've never seen before or that may be made differently in Canada for you you ready I'm ready let's go so this is like a tops more at discount e yeah type place I with the bananas looks in order here everything's in two languages the English that's right very confusing contest at Bureau Dave nope no it's hard enough for them to fit on the directions on packaging as it is but to do it in two languages that's just super present [Music] don't forget we're looking for three things that are we're gonna buy from anywhere in the store I'd be toilet paper it could be football look at that never seen this you've seen those it's like a moon pie I've never seen anything like it wait what it's a moon pie you don't know did you loo each other no this is we have to get this is the thing this is a thing Wow huge break for true right now we found our first thing all right what else beans greeting cards they say like for my Canadian grandson I'll forget II have something that looks similar but it's not the same name my daughter and we're going back to the thing where it shows you the same packaging but different name different name it's like bizarro world you guys not having a bisque oh look at filled with Wheat Thins right more Kristi wait a second the Nabisco makes these yeah Wheat Thins USA yeah it says Nabisco Woods Nabisco brain but if we come back over here it says Christie Christie with this guy my whole life is all the cookies down there that are Christie yeah they'll find in a bitch Nabisco I go through the work of changing everything all the artwork how much money that god Mondelez international owns Crisco Mondelez international we've cracked the code we've cracked so many codes today it hurts what is it what is it the only reason I know all the teen is from the movie [Music] Christmas story Oh all right we're still looking for - we're still looking for - you know I'm getting hungry I am - here we go I've had these before yeah because I think I've literally brought them into the office of the American inside has a lot more choices of Oreos that we do here Jamie's gonna be happy okay but this is it this is a bonus yeah this is a four I'm gonna get these where the Smarties right here that's not that's not Smarties for you it's not my smarty I've never knew that until recently that Smarties is actually a different type of candy for them and it's what we call Rockets you don't have anything comparable to what actually Canadian Smarties are oh my god this is another challenge for another day I drink the whole thing else all right what else we get the branding on this is so weird they're frosted mini-wheats we have many weeks original is the frosted or the original is the frost well I think so I don't know am i right it looks frosted and they spelled original wrong down here that's the French version of Pringles yeah but the ketchup was don't catch up Pringles here we go let's do that there's our second item I think [Music] [Applause] [Music] this isn't milk is it you know it dangerous why why would you put it in a bag what if you punctured it for it why would you need to do that is you gonna put the bag in into one of these but it defeats the print why so why why why not just put them in the carton and then save yourself the trouble if I'm gonna put this in a bag because then you get three I think maybe not I won I grew up with bag milk and you've never seen it before your life but you have the cards you use the cartons correct it's if you want less it'll have the bag it's a family pack no we don't have the jugs we don't reject something about milk in a bag it just feels very unstable that's why you need so many bags cuz you spill it all did you drink the milk out of the bag I've done it yet really uncomfortable about this whole area I don't like it we're gonna buy some okay take this home cuz you need milk at home right I'm scared I'm scared even just like pulling it out [Music] so we have this yeah they are not the same but they're made by Kellogg's Kellogg's Corn Pops yeah why would they make them different they make them different in Canada and they do in the state here's ours are much crunchier tastes the same no arse around yours are more look like corn like flatter it's a completely different type of cereal like you can't you shouldn't call them the same thing are they closing in 15 minutes we've been here for two hours I think you've gotten we did pretty well no bring those ketchup um I got them all about to talk let's see it's very much that's why you need to that's what everyone gets cards here because they know they gotta get them milk [Music] [Music] we made it oh my goodness we got more than three things but that's okay we found some interesting stuff so we did it we bought it three bags you milk the most ridiculous thing it's very difficult to carry Joe Louis ketchup and chef Pringles with the smelling like Pringles a little bit of seasoning it's been right in front of us the whole time what it's a potato what's a potato french fries what do you put on like a little pillow I don't like it I don't like it where's the no oh my god yeah that's pretty good good that's a good thing again oh my god okay Wow wonderful okay that's enough bring it up bring it up that's a price come all oh very sweet take a Little Debbie cake almost you have a little W don't you pinky yeah some of the same things that I've noticed in America are less sugary than here like cereals less sugary chocolate is less sugary and more dark it's weird where do you think it should do the opposite now what's the final ruling here what's better how do you feel about this place the selection is very simple it all look this better than the other really bothers me for that reason I'm gonna have to stick with what makes Canadians great I think the conclusion is that we should share more between the countries and try to understand each other more thank you so much for watching if you liked the video please hit like down below and if you really liked it subscribe so you can watch more leave a comment of what you think the differences are maybe something we missed thanks for having me thanks for coming you
