AI Generated Minecraft Biomes

Minecraft 1.20 is just around the corner bringing with it the new cherry blossom biome although it looks amazing it got me thinking what if Minecraft biomes were a little more creative think about the classic mushroom biome or even the deep dark what if we added more magical biomes like that to the game while I'm tired of waiting on Mojang I'll do it myself totally spent hours brainstorming get hundreds of Genius ideas but why do that when we got AI sure cup baby this thing's gonna replace me soon isn't it anyways here's how this will work chat gbt will generate a list of five insane new Minecraft biomes from that list I have to choose one to build but I won't just be building for each area I'll be drowning up new Mobs blocks and mechanics once I'm done it'll be scored by judges and I'll move on to the next round and every time the biome is going to get more extreme got it okay round one if any of you are worried about AI becoming sentient and overthrowing Humanity don't be these biome that features Rolling Hills fields of tall grass and a gentle stream that winds through the landscape Mystic Oasis it is a lush and verdant Paradise full of flowing waterfalls Enchanted Forest this biome is filled with tall shimmering trees and the forest is home to various hold up is this all you know ethical seems like you and your friends take a lot of others work and just mishmash it together to pass it off as your own [Music] Mystic mountains this biome features towering Peaks and a network of underground caves filled with crystals and geodes fiery Forge this biome is a landscape of molten lava and towering volcanoes nice these all look great I like the Enchanted Forest one personally nah let's go with this one I ended up choosing the fertile Valley I like the other ones but this was round one I'll be trying to top myself every round so I want to leave a little bit of breathing room plus the AI made it sound so appealing the fertile Valley is a picturesque biome teeming with life and natural resources the hills are covered with tall grass and wildflowers creating a natural carpet that stretches as far as the eye can see thank you if you've been following my map making series and are disappointed that we aren't tackling another area don't worry all of the biomes today are settings for future videos the judges will be voting on which one will be in the next installment of the series the areas quickly coming together but I was uneasy it felt like someone was watching me yo daddy man this is gonna look sick probably gonna be the best terrain on YouTube man how can I convince him to work for free come on man oh he already started that was easy [Music] one thing I should mention once I choose a biome from the AI I also let it generate custom items mobs and mechanics I tweaked them a little but afterwards I took the liberty of making some prototypes now things actually been modded into the game yet but if you're a modder and you want to make these go for it the Valley's forests aren't any ordinary Grove they're home to some of the most magical plants in Minecraft nymph wood trees I'm trying to find any excuse to get Greenwood in the game one day Mojang will listen to me but more important than the new blocks these trees are home to the nymph mob nymphs are neutral friendly mobs that appear out of the tree trunks of this Grove they're able to disappear into the blocks of One Tree and reappear out of others you can befriend lives by catching them and giving them a Wither Rose when they accept hold an ax with a summoned enchantment from now on whenever you right click on any two blocks of wood with that X the nymph will be summoned to fight by your side if you right click on them they despawn until called on again in other words they're pretty much a Pokemon okay first area is done and it looks great but let's see what the judges think so are we allowed to look now what okay yes wow oh my God what Disneyland for elves man I'll put a starter house on here my starter base I love the Arches definitely the circles are my favorite part every single part is like worked on like crazy soup nine by nine starter base underground modern yes yeah what would you rate it and bear in mind we have four more to go oh that's so hard okay we'll be unbiased because we're starting off so good all right I'm definitely gonna give this a solid eight yeah I'm gonna go ahead and give it an 8.2 I know you're a crazy guy shovels up I'm gonna give it a seven I'm gonna give it a 7.5 this is lovely I'm stealing this rebuild all right what's next Enchanted Forest no five new biome ideas please boring no boring hey phantom 4 still counts as an enchanted Force oh let's do that the AI spit out an idea that excited me which was a problem I have this nasty habit of going overboard when I'm inspired and now wasn't the time this was only level two and I didn't want to go too crazy too quick but I can't help myself curse you lack of impulse control the Aurora Highlands biome offers a breathtaking and magical experience for Minecraft players who want to explore a harsh but beautiful environment with its stunning Northern Lights icy Landscapes and mystical creatures this biome is perfect for players who crave a truly immersive and enchanting experience everything was going perfectly until we hit the texturing and it was my fault I had my shaders on and the Shadows looked amazing with the shapes of these mountains but then the worst thing happened I got another idea the brilliantly time-consuming plan involved is using two color palettes one for the Shadows one for the highlights we'd Mark the spots for the Shadows with placeholder blocks then we could each take one pallet to paint and knock it out at the same time it was a foolproof plan except for one tiny plan breaking incredibly essential detail I didn't tell dabby which colors were going where hey uh dafty what's up why are there dark blocks where the highlights should be going I'm out dang it mixing up the colors is inconvenient but it's not ruined I did some damage control while Dabney was asleep and ended up finishing the coloring a lot faster Aurora or blocks here I'm using stained glass but use your imagination when broken they drop Aurora crystals craft those into an aurora block and it can light up a 100 by 100 area when placed like a super torch perfect for spawn proofing dark areas but the crystals aren't just for crafting they're essential ingredients in making a variety of potions called Aurora potions Aurora Beacon potion creates a glowing Aura around the player Illuminating the area and attracting nearby mobs to it alone but you have to be careful depending on the moon cycle the properties of the drop crystals change use the wrong one and oh okay the building's done let's see what the judges think the Borealis man look I'm not even loading in India the colors this is what the caves and cliffs up they should have been bro I've never seen anything like this before this looks like like the Rocky Mountains it just like looks pink it looks like cotton candy bro night pictures always look so bad in Minecraft and this just looks amazing these are perfect for parkour I'm bad at parkour I'm gonna have to give this one a 7.3 the Aurora is like what caught my immediately but the mountains look a little like kind of crazy I'd give it a 7.5 pretty sure you've got something hidden next I'm gonna give it an 8.5 it looks amazing at night and during the day is why I give it a better score I'm gonna have to give you a 7.8 oh I'm sorry shovel but I probably build a cabin here it would look beautiful in this landscape somewhere for round three we chose a biome called the shadowlands it sounded like a really cool idea the shadowlands is a dark and Eerie biome that is shrouded in a permanent fog strange creatures around the shadowlands and players May encounter ghostly apparitions that can either be helpful or dangerous after laying down the foundation I started to doubt how this was going to top the last area we kept pushing through but everything started to go wrong [Music] no no no no no no okay that last part didn't happen but the build wasn't going great I had the brilliant idea to reuse old trees that I've made a while ago I remember being super proud of how they turned out back then I thought I was the greatest tree builder in the game but when I brought him over and had a better look yo what are those man they look like crap I guess I wasn't as good as I thought I was uh Juno made him he spent a good three hours fixing up the messy work but I was dedicated to staying true to the AI description the trees are tall and twisted and their branches reach out like skeletal fingers once we started putting the trees in we thought we were in the home stretch nope all right that's fine try again nope try again nope NADA [Music] after we craft the server for the third time I decided to call it a day pretty sure we'd give our server developer a heart attack if we kept going the next day we added some final details but still weren't in love with it thankfully chat gbt swooped in to save the day wraith stone block this block would be a rare magical block found an undead swamp biomes that would create a ghostly Apparition this would attack nearby players and mobs making it a useful tool for defending against enemies Shadow would block this block would be a dark and twisted wood that would grow an undead swamp biomes when used as a building material it would create a spooky and haunted structure that would be perfect for dark and Eerie builds I think the only redeeming parts of this area are the AI generated ideas and maybe the trees it's kinda boring dude I'm not gonna lie this is kind of garbage I mean I wouldn't say that big old stinky pad of dookie do we have to show the judges you do you steal these trees from Juno did you the trees they look like muddy from the bottom muddy from the bottom now we're here I could definitely build something in here it definitely has a lot of potential for structures more than some of the other Maps stuff are unique to me it feels so much more calm bro like I can actually see everything that's going on here it's definitely my third but it has some potential and to me this is definitely my favorite I'm gonna have to give this one an 8.8 I have to give it a seven I am giving it a 6.5 um I gave I gave the first one a 7.5 and the first one is definitely better than this so yes can't have it I've never seen a swamp actually look good I've never really built in a swap before but I would definitely build in this I think this came out really really nice I like the details the vines probably gonna go with an 8.2 for this one dang I thought you guys were gonna hate this even though the judges liked it I was pretty hesitant to start the next area begrudgingly I went back to the AI and typed in the same prompt expecting some lukewarm ideas to pop up but boy was I wrong [Music] oh mama [Music] the Arcane Cliff biome is a frozen Wasteland That Glitters with ice and snow The Cliffs are home to powerful ice Wizards Frost Giants and other magical beings the cold air can be bracing but players who Brave the icy temperatures can discover ancient ruins and artifacts buried beneath the snow the idea was perfect the AI really came through on this one I think our Creative Energy had been bottled up while we were grinding through the swamp but now it was free-flowing this one was my favorite best of all this biome introduces new blocks and new mechanics enchanted runestone block when activated with redstone it would release a wave of magic that would enchant nearby entities think of it like a beacon but weaponized you can charge it with different craftable runes obtained from these cliffs summoning roon opens a magical portal and allows the player to call forth a variety of magical beings by using the techniques that we developed over the past week the area sprang to life in no time in a couple short hours it was already done and we loved it all right good looking go ahead it's just so good I love this one I really love this 3.5 I'm kidding yeah freaking love it I'm like at the world height right now and it's like right where this rock is even more like Skyrim Vibes for sure too there's some there's so many places you could build you guys see this and I think modern house maybe a modern house definitely a modern house somewhere I could do a modern house on it I found the perfect spot market for me when I steal this terrain yeah I will right there I feel like The Grand Budapest Hotel in this landscape it looks so nice this one I will give it an 8.5 me I give it a 9.8 whoa this is wow you can already see the the castle and it's not there you can already see the dragon and it's not there composition's crazy it's everything's finished it's perfect this is beautiful it's perfect but you're right we're 10. wait I am going to give this a 9.1 it's definitely my favorite so far I actually like destroying the most so far I'm gonna give this one a nine and a half when a player uses the enchanted runestone block to summon their magical beings a portal opens right but what if a player were to stumble through that portal [Music] the space Mesa is a dark and foreboding biome in Minecraft that is both beautiful and treacherous this landscape is dominated by towering maces made of black and rock and surrounded by Deep canyons and chasms at the Mesa Center there's a massive black hole it's constantly pulling in anything that comes close enough including blocks and even living creatures this gives them traits never seen before in Minecraft the most notable magnets magnetic block this block would create a magnetic field that would attract or repel certain items by upgrading armor with magnets players would be able to craft climbing gear that would allow them to scale vertical surfaces depending on the material they could scale these surfaces without placing a single block nice work dude this turned out even better than I expected thanks again for your help I best and it shows how versatile you are as a builder with these biomes I think they all look incredible but this is definitely my favorite I have to give this one to finish it's amazing yes perfect 10. all right let's see which one's the winner space Mesa awesome looks like this will be where I build next though I was kind of hoping for the Arcane Cliffs but it can be changed if you saw a biome
