ADVANCED EULA TECHS! Increase Your Stack Count and DPS! Genshin Impact!

hello and welcome to my channel i went to lose gaming have you been wondering what string of attacks are good to use on eula have you been wondering how to build a lot of stacks on the spindrift knights burst eula upon first glance may seem like a simple character however mihoyo has done a great job of adding complexity to their seemingly simple characters and eula is no exception in this video hopefully by the end of it you will also be a eula combo master [Music] i'll be dividing this video into two main sections the first section is her outside of burst combo game and the second section is for building stacks during her burst let's start off with some basic terminology before the combos n stands for normal attack and n5 stands for five presses of her normal attack this is her n1 this is her n3 and this is her n4 eula has up to five normal attacks so n1 through five are possibilities next we have e which is her elemental skill small e is just tapping the e key or her skill [Music] big e is for holding the e key next we have d d is short for dash [Music] and dash canceling can sometimes save some frames and increase your dps [Music] for example n4dn2 is for normal attacks dash two normal attacks [Music] and finally we have ds short for dragon strike dragon strike is using the hit stun on your sword attacks and then dashing and jumping just high enough to do a plunge attack now i personally can't do it consistently at all without any movement speed so for any demonstrations that use dragon strike i will have something to boost my movement speed why is it called the dragon strike tech i don't know and frankly i would have called it something more accurate like the dash cancel with movement speed jump low plunge attack or dcms jlp for short but we'll go with the dragon strike name instead so here's a very quick tutorial on dragon strike during your hits hit stun dash jump and then left click to do a plunge attack in midair bonus movement speed from double animo or diona or other sources of movement speed makes this much easier to do for a full tutorial i recommend searching on youtube gentian impact dragon strike and i believe 1010 has a tutorial on how to do it the last bit of syntax is putting something in parentheses for example this n5 in parentheses means to just keep doing n5 over and over n2 ds in parentheses with an x2 means to do two normal attacks into dragon strike twice for most of this video my eula has 100 crit rate either thanks to the 20 crit rate food or because of cryo resonance for the outside of burst combo section myula is using the skyward pride the reasoning for this is because the skyward pride has no rng procs or passives that affect its results she will also be using the four piece pale flame set [Music] with all that out of the way let's use our favorite volunteers the regis vines let's start off with a really simple combo tap e into normal attack five tap e normal attack five hole d normal attack five repeated [Music] this is a fairly easy combo to do and took out our regis fine friend in 18.05 seconds as usual since this is our first test we don't know if this is a good result or not the next combo is tapi normal attack 4 dash cancel normal attack 2 and then you pretty much repeat that [Music] yep [Music] for the added complexity of dash cancelling the normal attack 4 this doesn't seem to perform any better than our simple previous normal attack 5 combo it also consumes stamina overall i consider this combo not worth it next let's try the tapi normal attack 4 tappy normal attack 4 hold the normal attack 4 dash cancel repeated [Music] yep the thing about this combo is that it feels awkward usually you want to do something while you wait for your skills cooldown however in this case you just do nothing for a bit after you use your normal attack for wait for the skills cooldown and then do the skill once it's off cooldown 17.33 seconds we've shaved off a tiny bit of time i'd attribute this time save mostly to stacking the four piece pale flame set faster and shredding the regis vines resistances sooner but this is still a very small increase in applicable dps here next let's try the infamous dragon strike starting off with the en4 dragon [Music] strike [Music] hey this clocked in at 16.07 seconds a minor improvement but hey i guess we'll take it and if you want to view it to be even more stylish than she already is dragon strike will definitely do that for you [Music] and finally the most difficult and complex combo of them all e and two dragon strike times two and repeat that that took 15.98 seconds i managed to save less than one tenth of a second by doing this over the previous dragon strike example and this one took me forever to pull off don't try this one at home kids so now that we have all this data what is my personal conclusion and recommendation honestly just do whatever is the easiest for you or the most fun the variance of all these combos in terms of eula's dps outside of her burst is pretty small and frankly getting all sweaty by doing the dragon strike combos over and over isn't really worth it from a dps standpoint however if you find it fun to do the dragon strike combo then all the power to you just know that as long as you use her skill off cooldown and get two stacks of grim heart as soon as possible and then unleash it that's the most important thing whatever string of normals and dashes and dragon strikes you do in between is fairly inconsequential and they all do pretty good dps one thing i will say though is that if you're not in burst and you're waiting for her e's 10 second cooldown the n4 dash is the best option besides dragon strike of course [Music] so yeah that was a lot of testing for an irrelevant boost in her dps but rest assured next you will learn how to stack euless burst properly and knowing the previous syntax will help first let's understand the four rules of her burst her burst does not snapshot on cast in layman's terms whatever euless stats are when the burst explodes are whatever stats are used by the burst's damage rule number two only her normal attack her skill and her ascension 1's mini sword explosion adds stacks to her burst this means that charged attacks dragon strike and the initial hit from a burst as well as external weapon procs do not add to the stack count rule number three her birth stops gaining stacks once the lightfall swords begins its exploding animation this wasn't intuitive to me at first but it is important to know rule number four gaining stacks has a 0.1 second cooldown that means if two hits connect within 0.1 seconds of each other only one stack will be gained this will be a very important caveat moving forward as always we will be doing this against our best friends the regis finds i hope you're not too sick of seeing me beat up on our port plant friends yet but they just happen to be the most cooperative volunteers in all of tavot so let's give them a round of applause [Applause] here's the attack string i recommend tap e q n4 whole d [Music] we can see that her burst did 126 196 damage after doing some math we can see that this is 12 stacks on my burst but let's try that again the same string but with a very small change [Music] for some reason it did 133 666 damage did you notice the difference it was right here after the hold e portion of the combo in my first attempt i just mashed normal attack after her whole e and because of that her normal attack hit within 0.1 seconds of her ascension 1 mini sword explosion however in the second clip i delayed her normal attack after her whole e by just a little bit and thus her normal attack connected right after the mini explosion from her ascension 1 thus giving her 13 stacks instead of 12. [Music] this is perhaps the most important thing to keep in mind when it comes to this combo without a ton of attack speed you should delay your normal attack after your hold e by just a little bit so that way the normal attack does not connect at the exact same time as her ascension one and therefore giving you an extra stack but what about attack speed well let's try it out with the song of pines at refinement 1 which provides 12 bonus attack speed if you start off her burst with the buff up with immaculate timing you can squeeze out an extra stack with her n4 right before the sword starts its explosion animation however you usually get 13 stacks at refinement 5 getting 14 stacks becomes more consistent but can we get any more stacks than this let's try 39 attack speed which is with a refinement five song of broken pines and jeans constellation two after trying for about an hour no joke i managed to get a single instance of 16 stacks let me tell you this is not consistent and this is not worth it but knowing that it's possible is still interesting in my opinion now realistically in abyss or wherever you might use eula trying to get the maximum stacks not only is difficult but it usually doesn't matter however knowledge is power and it's up to us the players to figure out how to apply this knowledge what do you think about eula's combo game are you interested in a tutorial on how to maximize her nuke's damage outside of just building stacks let me know in the comments below thanks for watching as always i appreciate every single one of you this is i went to lose signing out
