hi everyone in this video we are going to create a 3d model from this 2d drawing and the drawing will be added on the Pinterest board link will be shared in the YouTube description and please if you like this video if you learned something from this video do hit the like button on YouTube and that's what really helped me so this is the 3d model and how it looks like it looks quite simple but believe me it is not and so with that let's start with the modeling now and let me tell you how I'm going to approach so first of all I will be considering this as the reference pen so this will be the top plane above and below things will be created I will start with this n shape which at the end is a full round so let's start with it 30 is the radius so this width will be total width will be 60 that's the only tricky thing about that and now let me just unhide the planes PFT this should just take care of the unnecessary relations that to 300 science by itself just is good I will take this this is equal then total height is please download the drawing and do follow along so that is 10 plus 20 plus 10 which becomes faulty then I have this dimension as 105 and so the final dimension will be wandering 5 plus 30 quick recap of what we have done height is 10 plus 20 plus 10 so that becomes 40 now click ok midplane and 60 is the diameter and hence the width I'd go for full round press ctrl key selected two parallel faces and finally the driving surface that becomes our full round so far so good now I am going to create an extrude on this face so what I'm great creating over here is I'm creating this pin this hidden line you see this pin that I'm talking about it's total height is 80 so we can just subtract 10 since this is our frame that we make it reference now the diameter of is 20 it is Q 1 let me show you where this move over here it stood up to 70 so the direction is good 70 okay now on top plane no first of all we will be creating a revolt so select the plan sketch and now how it looks first of all what I'm going to do over here you can see this pin is okay there is no issue with it but then we have this profile that you can see going like this and this so it is nothing but the ribbon and then the cutout is created to empty or Cyril holding material so what we will do is we will go with this profile we won't be giving it any flat this this this and where the pin comes will and deep go fine so this will be our revolt and then you will move it for the next step it will be hard to explain everything so since our thickness will be downward this will be the ideal position oh no I gave equal distance equal relationship by mistake delete it so that's the one thing I told you to take care about now from this Center this distance is 35 party cap or sorry to 10 I think yes that's done both of them are equal [Music] we need to drag this inside this is also 10 ten now what's left total height I think that would be 40 it is given in the side view this becomes 40 okay sorry it's already reference I think okay because of this we have the distance of the top plane and the top face of the opinion so only weak dimension is with sorry I forgot the weak dimension itself says okay define me and your sketch will be fully defined now that will total wit or we need other dimension from that let's say you need to calculate just a little thing so from the center to this it is 35 plus we have this radius and it is 15 you can see two radius R it and so on right hand side and left hand side 35 35 plus 15 will be 50 so I think it's better to give from the center this dimension is 50 I think everything is good but to create theory wall you need to give this geometrical centre line and not this normal centre line that's it and middle mouse button to conform now we will be assigning deep radius for say round select the round button round feature and figure out what are the fields we want this is five and that is okay one set of five so I'm sorry my bed that is 15 so I will press ctrl key to select the other edges with radius 15 and it is this one yes then I will create the new set those feel that we must as it is and now we have on this palette it is 25 and the new set I will go for the 5mm so I think all the radius or rounds are assigned this okay now finally we will be getting the extrude on this face whose dimensions are the first of all creating the center line so that fine practical rectangle will be symmetric yes it is now symmetric it will coincide this line with this endpoint height is 150 and total is 180 105 plus 75 and height is 150 that is 10 depth but in the reverse direction that looks good click OK just remember we took our let me show this face as the reference and hence I'm extruding this newly created profile on the down side and not the up side that is done I will I think again go to round and assign the floods one is this to our blessing press control and this will be the one set of 40 and the new set select this face say like this face pressing the control again just look at the clicks that looks very good and what remains is the final extrude cut out so that is very simple just follow me now we will be creating this on the bottom face so sketch view if you want to change the orientation then you can go to sketch setup and flip the direction and still if you want to change the orientation then you can go for top and this exactly looks like what we have over here so that is the top view and now let's start sketching but before that you can see this sketch is symmetric with respect to this horizontal center line so we will be creating one half and then we will be just me running it so first of all I'll be in this circle press Alt key to take this as the reference I did it many times but forgot to mention and this is 15 radius or 30 diameter so the very first thing that I did is I created this circle moving ahead some things are pretty simple so go over here and let's create thick concentric circle this is again only one I want this is 30 radius of 60 diameter yes we will be creating this then right click to speed pick up the arc command again line and end it on this circle same thing start another line from ok no not from there from here to here don't delete anything from here as of now this segment do this segment we need to assign this distance as it is 5 and the radius is 10 that is it again going on to the right hand side from this yes like this right click to select the are and keep it your city's equal so that it doesn't equal relationship again create the concentric are select this one from this point to somewhere on here and again right-click select normal arc keep it like this and finally we have right click and line command yes 30 is also ok let's assign the equal relation this is 5 ok middle mouse button to come out of the constraint this is 5 this is also 5 that is pretty easy to figure out so I'm not showing in the drawing again 65 and finally one dimension is missing let me first of all delete these segments so let it build it and delete if this also so what remains is this just okay this is also left I will ascend it tangent if not and that should work so constraints are really helpful now create the centerline select all the entities mirror with respect to the center line which is good mirror and yes here is where the blunder is committed everything is okay but why this remained so I missed one thing that let me show you this is good all good and no complaints over here but yes I would go for through one I think so whenever this height increases it will adjust so what wrong I did over here this sketch I forgot to take this profile or set the outer diameter let me project it and the other half close okay this should be my extreme because you can see the remaining things are empty in our brain if I go look at this view also you can see there is no material inside now I think everything is perfect let me hide and show you so I hope it was helpful if you have any doubts you can ask in the comment section and thank you for watching
