Adobe Acrobat: How To Hyperlink A Phone Number On A PDF In Acrobat

[Music] this is going to be a video tutorial on how to hyperlink a phone number on a pdf using adobe acrobat dc i'll be using the pro version i'm not sure if this works on the other version or not but uh let me jump over to adobe acrobat here okay i have a pdf opened up here and i'm going to hyperlink this phone number here the way to do that you want to highlight the phone number i'm going to hold down the left mouse button drag across to where i have the whole phone number highlighted and then i'm going to right click on it i'm going to go down to where it says create link i'm going to click on that you can decorate your hyperlink however you want i'm just going to leave mine the way it is here you want to make sure that it's on open a web page make sure that that is selected then you'll go down and you'll click on next and in this box being it is a phone number you will type t e l colon and then the phone number i'm just going to use the phone number with the aerial code i'm just going to make a make believe phone number here but you want the area code and then the seven digit phone number and i'm going to click on ok and now it has and now this is a hyperlink to a phone number as you can see i put my mouse cursor under on it it says tell colon and then the phone number and i actually tested this this does work so that is how you hyperlink a phone number using adobe acrobat dc thanks for watching you
