[Music] welcome back to tabletop titans for another epic game of warhammer 40 000. hi if you caught our thursday game you did notice that we had the return of brian uh unfortunately as is often the case when you're when you do a lot of traveling uh ryan was fine on the day and the day after he came back but uh he's he's down with a little cold right now he's not covered it's nothing crazy but uh he's definitely he's definitely sick so unfortunately you're stuck with us i was gonna say you but let's be real i'll try chat i'm gonna do my best i'm going to channel brian sixes i'm going to have solely brilliant strategies naturally i'll charge only when it's the right time to charge yes i'll get all my psychic powers and use every correct stratagem yeah i'm going to channel brian for sure and if if anything goes bad uh you can blame it on the fact that brian didn't make this list probably during a fever dream he did make this list and yep you know don't want to kick him while he's down he's in bed right now he's probably watching us possibly being sick he's sick and his whole family yeah they're all as long as they got back so definitely yeah yeah we i had a feeling it happens a lot and it was obviously a big long trip so anyways um hopefully they'll feel better soon um but anyway just won't let you guys know he is back it's going to be awesome uh yes so without further ado it is sisters release day very very exciting uh we've been loving digging through this book there was a lot of contentious discussion around on the internets uh but there's some really really cool things about this new book we're going to be showing off even more than today including the brand new morven doll that comes out today we have her here she's painted she's ready to rumble and of course naturally as we mentioned facing off against the salamanders so we haven't had on the channel in a while they're like brian's babies they are like brian's babies now i will defend his honor yields so uh yeah let's go ahead and dive in we have a bunch of stuff to look at let's do this thing all right in the the theme of oh you're up yeah these are my salamanders today they're they called sisters but no you're good mellows that's my bad so uh salamanders today huh you're sisters how are your sisters no that's that's your clip that's my clip yeah yeah yeah yeah all right i am salamanders this is a rough morning guys sorry good morning chad hello uh so i am salamanders and you know what i'm so sorry i am channeling the salamanders today i am not fighting for myself i'm fighting for the honor and glory of brian who is currently defenseless he's helpless and we the salamanders must protect him bless you this is for the emperor for sure this is for brian for brian yeah the emperor so uh today we just have a simple battalion yep of salamanders we are led of course by a librarian a primary librarian today and he is chief librarian naturally naturally so he's going to get that plus one to cast everything yeah even yeah he actually has the world of trade for it which is kind of essential right if you're going to go chief librarian you want to take that warlock trait and you know what else he has some cool little salamander tech he has the obsidian aquila which i believe you could put on a sergeant but it's not as cool as when you put it on your librarian yeah this is a six-inch aura of success very nice which we'll circle back on in a little bit but i think that's cool tech his powers are uh veil of time null zone and psychic fortress scary series the three best powers it's so good honestly and uh this synergizes really well with again the relic that you've taken because you're already wanting to place your units within six inches so you get that double buff and kind of just in you know you're you're leaning into that concept yeah yeah uh also my other hq address earthshade yeah he's a cool dude plus one woman in combat when i charge so i'm very good pro cleaner bean yeah very cool and he's a captain give me the real ones very nice i'm digging it i'm taking it moving right onto the elites i'm realizing we have an elite we left off the table but i'll grab that in a second no worries uh in the elites we have a chief apothecary nice nice and he does have selfless healer very cool we also have as i wander over here a judiciar which i will find i don't see him i'll grab a man a bit yeah i'll get him um so fight last is cool uh i skipped the troops circle back to the troops the troops here very interesting we have some intercessors we have a five a nine and a tent fever dream a lot of intercessors and they're gonna storm the board yes and take every objective away from you i like it and you won't be allowed to hold them um we're gonna hang out tactical doctrine anyway so having the normal bolt rifles being ap2 for two of the five turns of the games it's nice um that's that uh the you know what else is an elite what's that the leviathan oh yeah so i have a leviathan with double storm cannon and double heavy flamer very nice not core no i don't benefit from none of the buffs a lot of people don't know this i didn't even know this until recently because i play the chaos one and they don't care about that stuff but uh leviathan and the daredevil not corn uh both not corn but still great model uh he's got those flamers that i can make pistols in combat if you try to tag him which is why salamanders can pretty safely run double gun leviathan uh we also have aggressors aggressive two units of three flame aggressors it wouldn't be salamanders without flame aggressors let's be honest naturally naturally and i like the two squads of three gives you a lot of utility you can spread out you know uh hold hold points across the board it's already like a pretty elite army and so i think spreading them out isn't a good it's a good take super early i am very nervous about how this is going to go but we'll we'll trudge forward also it wouldn't be salamanders without some melta two units of three eradicators and normally i would outflank these guys but the table i just wouldn't have any angles there's nowhere i could come in and actually shoot uh anything so they're on the table and they're gonna be marching up in my death ball of death i like it and to round out the list we have five assault terminators this is a classic salamander it is with the storm shield and the thunder hammer that's what they're known for this is really like a clot an iconic salamander's list it has all the staples it has everything it really does i'm digging it and you have them in deep strike yeah yes they will be teleporting in because they're slow and i'm already kind of traffic jamming myself yeah exactly with the deathball exactly and you guys will see that when we go when we start the game on the first turn um i like it like i said very classic salamanders uh list i'm digging it what do you have oh hi i'm running the sisters let's take a look at the army um i am not playing valar's heart we had a brief discussion um right before we we got started uh where that would probably shut down the salamanders just a little too much yeah i have a lot of ap one you have a lot on your plate today so instead we're going to be trying out uh bloody bloody rose which is cool i'm actually really excited i think bloody rose is legitimately the other order i would have picked for this list uh you'll see why in a moment we'll kind of talk about as we get through uh but let's start off with the thing i'm the most excited about today which is morgan val she's here yeah oh oh man i love this model actually i i've talked a lot of smack about the paragon war suits um but as soon as we saw more of invalids like this is a much better execution on those models much more elegant i love the gothic look kind of weird that she has like pants but you know that's fine i guess hey mex gonna have pants too ladies can wear pants adrian well it's not the lady part it's the machine part it's a little weird to like have a big mech suit and then go ahead and put robes over it i think it's dope yeah yeah it's going on max are allowed to have pants somebody meet me max with pants next with pants once you put on leggings you can never go back right yeah yeah they are lululemon leggings is what they are exactly but i'm really excited for her if you're not familiar she is very gilman like um she gives mega chapter master on the super on a single unit where it's rerolled all failed hits and wounds she's an absolute beat stick she has a missile launch she has two missile launchers she has heavy bolter um she rerolls everything to hit wound in melee powerful powerful powerful stuff so i'm really excited to have her on the table today um what else we have we have a canonist um she's kind of just a little blue buffing canonist she can go around fight stuff uh beneficence took a pretty big hit in the new codex in my opinion it's down to one damage it's it's a plus three tax you know high strength high rend but only a single damage and then one thing they added is if i go into a squad that has six or more models it's three plus d3 extra attacks so they like leaned into the chain sword thing but i think they didn't it's not specific it's like combat blast it's combat blast which is something i've been kind of doing you know talking about for a while so we'll see she's interesting um we don't have a clip for some of the other characters because uh they're still new right so we have a doug mata and i really really like her especially with the stylist we're playing today because she can grant obsec or double opsec she can do the good prayers the good lit knees which is numbers four five and six on the chart the guitar the good talk oh i like that uh so she has that um and just want to mention because we don't have the clipper uh yes let's dig into the troops i have a ton of battle sisters i have two blocks of 20 which we tried uh block of 20 on tuesday and uh this is this is where yeah you got extra scary but i was like oh and they're gonna be valor's heart and you're like i don't know if that's gonna work i would have never killed either they would just yeah they would probably never you would have held all three middle objectives just with those two units that's a good game would have been sad put on a good show so it's two blocks of 20 and a single unit of five um really interested by the fact that um again valor's heart is good but also bloody rose here because morphine again gives the full rerolls and it's hard to find squads that really really benefit from that to be honest but a big squad of sisters with bloody rose rerolling hits and wounds uh is actually really scary it's terrifying really cool um and i'll mention it now jumping ahead a bit but it's this is another kind of synergy we have in the list i'm taking the image of fire with the new image fire abilities we don't i don't think i have a club for it either um but uh we've taken uh plus one strength that's the classic that existed before but it's and also giving a bubble of re-roll fail charges really really cool so we've got a bunch of strength four sisters extra ap extra attacks rerolling everything spooky they're still tough you know spooky yeah we're still talking about trans humans to get on that middle point is the internet still on fire about sisters are terrible they're unplayable they're bad they're not competitive they haven't been still slowly falling because it's been so negative it's kind of it it makes me sad when people do that it does make me sad but you know what i'll say uh on a positive side of things for our community the sisters channel has been chatting and discussing and finding lots of really cool things in the book so i think it was like a really good example of the way that we like to approach things honestly it's like yeah all right is it is it better is it worse maybe maybe not all we can do is figure out how to move forwards yeah your play with it it doesn't matter if it's better or worse is it is what it is this is the tool we have let's play with it right exactly yeah good attitude so that's my uh that's my troops i have several elites naturally i'll start off with the pentia uh fell in love with these units again on tuesday with some of their new found abilities like the the uh with their pentium superior which i do have and that'll give them the advance and charge all the extra buffs amazing amazing amazing uh midifier we talked about already and did a fast attack i have two units of five seraphim classic classic classic uh especially with the improvements to the new secondaries i think two seraphim squads minimum just to be able to play uh play them in the game really really well additionally i have i can't leave home without two units of retributors three multi melters in each two cherubs it's only two squads and then only three multiverses but they are still amazing everyone uh and they they could be a target for more than valve's buffs uh so we'll see we'll see where that ends up uh and then lastly i have two emulators uh which are currently carrying the retributors inside of them no riders rhinos in this list i do love rhinos for sisters but uh honestly with all the command phase changes stuff like that i kind of wanted to try with just this i still have the transport in these emulators so i think it's it's a i still good take on it that's me i'm really excited about this list it's something that's totally different we could have never run 40 sisters 45 sisters what so really cool use of the new book if i do say so myself um yeah so that's the armies uh we have a new war zone to show you guys shall we take a look crumbling ruins and overgrown fauna lie in every direction with no end in sight desolation and deserted cities belie the critical nature of this location located outside several imperial strongholds several factions lay claim to it as protection for their own borders in this darkest of hours even emperor's finest shed each other's blood the desire for what they think is right who can triumph when all is war welcome to war zone titus welcome to the third and final game on warzone titus uh a newer board that we've that we've gotten recently from zach so really excited to be playing on it again as always we'll discuss what's obscuring what's not what's dense what's not as soon as we take a look at the mission put your hands together for today's producer mel i think they caught on mainly by the sneeze yeah that's true my ridiculous means it's the most adorable sneeze what's up the mission we are playing today is mission 33 very cool and this is a hold one hole too we're excited about yeah nice and easy this is like one of the easiest easy mode missions there yeah we're really i mean this is i love this mission so excited we do have uh it is searched and destroyed sorry it is a diagonal deployment it's not quite vanguard is it uh it's like corner to halfway we have a deploy a objective in each of our deployment zones we have two in the no man's land and then one in the mega no man's land this is the mission where we roll off to move uh move objectives yeah we rolled off bridger won he first moved this one towards me i then moved this one towards me and then i moved this one back because he could push it on the front and then i moved mine up a little bit because i want to be creeping towards you the whole thing exactly and again kind of coming back to the idea that it's very elite you want to play towards the center very marine style so uh we love this mission and the secondary that we have for this we might be discussing momentarily it's real good oh oh are we yeah maybe maybe i think i i i can do that i can do that can handle it so this would be uh adrian's left the left or right is really difficult so adrian is taking retrieve octarius data um also stranglehold and priority targets priority targets was a last-minute add-on despite his clear clear obvious hey the two boys were just agonizing and then i was like what's the mission again they're like oh it's priority targets so um it's been a rough morning all right we have morning we've been scrambling uh to kind of fill the gap so yeah we uh we're like what should we take for our third secondary um it's prior to targets because it's amazing it's just hold your priority target i'm gonna select mine in the back oh i'm gonna pick uh this middle i picked this one right right here you should pick the same one as me so we each have another back uh retrieve octarius data is the new scramblers great on this deployment we can actually start in two uh two uh the deployment zones already i started two quarters and then uh stranglehold is the new nomination essentially and i've got a bunch of opsec potentially double upset bodies so we're going to get crumping okay let's see let's see bridger berger is taking oath a moment stranglehold and priority target shocking yeah so this i mean this is just a great stranglehold mission you want to hold two by default and if you just shoot your opponent well you have to hold the third for stranglehold but holding three is good it's not actually that hard like i can go one two three we're looking at trying or one two three or you can go right like it's you can be pretty clumped together and still hold three objectives so strongholds just makes sense on this mission um priority targets is a gimme that's just they screwed up on that one uh and then at the moment if my plan is to hold these three objectives yeah well i'm in the middle already yeah and i can't reliably get kill points on almost anything like assassinate maybe makes you play more carefully i could get four bring it down points uh maybe like four points maybe like seven grind them down points whatever they rename that to no prisoners uh no prisoners that's right yeah so i'm glad that this mission gave me a free secondary i'll just play my through objectives and get my get my points the ironic thing is that uh oath is gonna be the toughest one especially determining turn turn order but uh yeah it's funny like you're gonna kind of pile in the middle and yeah wow that's not always advisable this is kind of the place and the time to do that yeah i like it um i realized i also didn't mention uh terrain what's obscuring it's not so let's uh let's take a look at that uh we have a number of obscuring pieces of terrain we have of course obscuring scaring obscuring obscuring yeah and obscuring and obscuring um we are not playing extra inch to go up on these little these little uh slabs right here and we've got crates in this corner forest over in that corner and i guess that's that that's pretty much it yeah with uh with these buildings and stuff it's like basic we're just going to go straight down right so over here we have guys that are behind it um here we both decided to be actually on them um we have to get forwards really cool table that zach put together for today um i'm into it so that's that's the table we get to roll off is it time it is time so who wants it um i'm happy either way and i think you're also happy otherwise i'm happy either way i actually would rather that you have to go first for oath for oath yeah but like we both have stuff in the open ready to be shot so i think we're both happy to go first and we're both happy to go second i agree let's dance all right looks like i'm gonna be going first all right let's do this salamanders turn one yeah that'll put me up to a whopping 11 command points sounds about right that's too many 11. wow i don't know what to do because you only yeah you have yeah i paid one for the relic and one for the extra roller trick very nice i generating miracle dice i'm gonna go ahead and roll that real quick huzzah it's a six working working working you finish you're like ah finally you get some time off and then your body just like gives it up on you collapse you just collapse so yeah anyways but we're really excited to be here today so i'm trying to decide whether advancing and getting opsec on the center is better right than just moving and shooting and i think moving and shooting is going to ultimately be better um because i need to get through that 20 man yeah it's too many bodies and i need to get it before you have your buffs up exactly yeah exactly yeah yeah i'll keep moving sounds good oh uh sacred rights i'm taking the exploding sixes in combat because we won't get stuck in yeah great thank you austin monreal thanks austin titans are y'all plan on on going to any of the us open tournaments later this year i want to participate but it'd be my first advice for preparing that's awesome yes we are absolutely planning on going um i know uh so obviously we're not in atlanta it's happening right now that's true we're here we're here with you guys and uh sadly the aco is not being streamed which i was pretty bummed about i know i know yeah uh anyways but uh i think we're for sure going to socal open i know brian is do you want to go i want to go i would love to go all right so probably we're going to go to a dope dope tournament i love them being notified of these vacations on live streams vacations no these are work these are businesses these are oh no no work for you vacation for you vacation for me well you know and you know it's held in the uh miramar uh fairgrounds yeah right we went to school down there so anyways uh we're gonna go to the socal open we of course are going to las vegas open although pretty sure have you bought your ticket yet i did ah yes i did cool i got you on that one thank you thank you i googled you i i was so nervous i was roping in i was like will he won't he are they going to sell out first nobody knows yeah and then i bought it before they sold out cool good i was like yeah you better not be like alright yeah yeah anyways so we're at least going to go to those and then uh there's one more the texas open which uh i don't think we'll make it to we have to draw the line somewhere texas texas i draw the line in texas you know what i don't draw the line though gibraltar oh man if you haven't watched that unboxing video we're so hot you should watch it's a fun video we're really really excited to be playing in the no retreat legends event every year uh and i know there's questions about prepping for your first turn but we'll come back to that because i'm just so excited about gibraltar um every year i sent out reports puts on the uh no retreat right which is already pretty tough to get tickets to yeah uh it's like literally played on a cruise ship in gibraltar beautiful tables beautiful armies and then this year for the first time they're doing no retreat legends it's an invitational invitation yeah exactly it's only it's like you know youtubers uh painters famous players things like that and you guys and uh yeah i was gonna say and just cool dudes yeah so really excited that'll be in november we're gonna go yeah prepping for your first event especially an open fun fact that's a big first event my very first tournament ever was las vegas open you crazy that's a great time unless this was like eight years ago in the early days of um yeah kind of okay well then that is fine it was the flamingo so yeah this is the third year i think baby i don't know a major first is a lot it's because you haven't been through the slog of a two-day event yet you don't know what it's like to stand on your feet for nine to 12 hours playing warhammer and then get up the next day and do it again you're not gonna have a voice the second day probably no drink a lot of water hydration is 100 key break snacks sit down when it's not your turn don't just stand up sit down yeah sit down don't lock your knees wear comfy shoulder walk your knees comfy shoes like doesn't like i like to wear like cute shoes you know boots and stuff like that don't do that do everyone else just wait for any shoes do everyone else a favor shower and wear deodorant please uh shouldn't have to say that but we do uh wear comfortable clothes in general don't be one of those people who like has to drag around all their extra layers because they thought it would be cold in a it's going to be room packed with people stinking hot yeah i also think depending on how proficient you are with your army print out extra copies of your army and army rules because say you're playing against someone who maybe nee like knows a lot you can at least like not slow play them or um because some people are going there for fun which maybe you are some people are also going there to like win best of an army and you don't want them you don't want to put them in a frustrating position so print out your army list right yeah um give them the army list tell them like tell them this is my first tournament right yeah um uh because time matters um and practice with a chess clock make your move decisions while they're doing their turn right yes as someone who i play slow right i i would have to make those thoughts yeah no absolutely these are all all things you can do um and again have fun it's gonna be awesome i will say a good thing about majors if you're not not experienced is you get the whole spectrum of people you get the top top players that are going in for like for blood excuse me and then you also get people that never go to event this is their one event of the year and so it's funny you get like the hyper competitive and you also get hyper casual in a way that most tournaments will land you somewhere more in the middle obviously so it's kind of a cool thing piece of advice about swiss pairings let's say you have a really bad day yeah you're day one you lost all through your games you're not you know this is your first tournament that's entirely possible sure and you're feeling down you're dinner you're like ah i don't know if i want to play tomorrow well tomorrow you're actually going to have three of your best games yes because swiss pairings are going to pair you with people who are similarly experienced to you exactly you have much better game stay too that's what you're going for everybody goes for day two day two is when you you know play people that are your same skill the best players are excited for their day two games the worst players are excited for their day two games the day two games are just the best games show up and have fun win or lose that's right well said are you ready for psychic fortress oh let's do this all right so i plus one to cast you need a six five on this naturally hi oh hey it's ten not apparel um and then can i get a tape measure yeah uh i don't think they extended the range on my deny good get out of here i'll double check because you know yeah i never know i'm out you never know up here um so you know i'll try if i can but that's it um you rolled ten so i need to roll it up to an eleven oh well this one so i only get a single d6 but what they changed on it now is if you roll a six it's just it just stops it why would they do that why it's really good and then and then the secret right uh like which i didn't take gives you just like a minus to that so it's like an insane deny but i rolled so well you did really well and now i'm punished anyways here we go i will i'm just gonna roll it first and then and then it's gonna be six and now we're gonna have to look it up do you only roll sixes when it inconveniences the team so i just just i don't even remember where they put the new rules better be four inch it's a four inch deny i highly doubt i'm in range that would be crazy if it's actually a full a full range deny sorry so disappointing um yeah could you stay out of 24. certainly aren't we like at 24. i feel bad because i didn't even know until recently until just now no it's it's any of my units um yeah it would have been a traffic jam okay yeah you sure yeah real time good it goes off on a seven got it can i get a six again do that again just just you just every unit does this every unit one of that shell of faith why i can't believe they extended the range i love it why did they do that okay well available time goes off on these aggressors they'll got it they'll fly first for shooting oh i didn't i don't have the fight last cannon in this today it's tragic i do have judy jay daddy daddy jay diddles uh shooting let's do it we're gonna shoot 10 intercessors at your sisters bring it so he's going into the big block in the middle right here yeah let's do this thing here we go on threes ruling ones yeah for adrex earth shade heck yeah all right and threes um threesomes you don't have your transcendence i don't wow terrible okay uh we will take it on the ladies and cover over here so we have two ups multimelters sounds good um they're all shooting the same target you don't have to be a vehicle for me to get the double shots do you right do you no no you just have to not have advanced did not assign to cover sounds perfectly fine so we have the five up involved currently from the um the world of trade which i'm forgetting uh so here we go five up nope and then this would be one's outside of cover because you have lots more boulder fire right yeah um what we're trying to do he's trying to make me use up the ones in cover i want to save those for key roles so those will be outside of cover sure yeah i can take a couple here so fives all right so two more oh and then uh here roll the damage real quick three of them model pull three okay all right now we will shoot the storm cannon leviathan sounds great uh yeah that's a lot of shots sixteen shots it's gonna hurt all into the 20 man there's three's no rerolls because he's not corn because it's not corn yeah it's pretty weird here we go core is something he is not he's not yeah looks good yeah and twos uh yeah trick seven yeah the first turn at least gives you that big big bonus there and these are ap two for dev doc oh i oh my god space marines have a five-up involved in aurora and then sisters for like one point a model total you pay a point per sister yeah you heard it here first folks uh for like no points they get a five of them all in the sixth generation for one point tomorrow no i'm just saying like they're super cheap yeah yeah the bodies are cheap and they just are incidentally more durable than most things in the game it's pretty amazing i don't know why people think sisters are bad i don't know what they're thinking it's a it's a comparative thing right they only think about what they lost know what they still have yeah and then for reference guys the indomitable belief finally thought of the world of trade uh is on the um fire that gives them the plus one i do owe you a leadership yeah you better fail this for me that'd be kind of bad if i failed it you better fail it could be bad it's mandatory that you failed mandatory is there any chance your salamanders have a chapter tactic bridger they do oh yeah um do you do some re-rolls you have a bolter no okay that's a lot of weird going back that's fair that's fair do i want to underpass this because the ordering on all of that mattered really mainly me talking about aos but thank you balls in 94. hey guys thanks for the great content as always i'm a fairly new player and have a difficulty keeping focused on secondaries any advice on which ones i should be taking and what kind of lists help as salamanders [Music] so yeah this it's tougher and tougher with marines um oath used to be so ubiquitous ubiquity she's ubiquitously powerful um but a couple things really well the main thing that did hurt it was the fact that you can't control if you're going first or not yeah that was always the one weakness of it is if you're someone's going against marines then you know they'll if they get when they're all fall probably uh make you have to go first but now there's just no choice so it's dangerous uh but situational can be interesting i think generally speaking some general advice for secondaries that we like to take is take secondaries that uh you can play regardless of your opponents don't count on killing vehicles don't count on killing tons of bodies come into the game with the plan of certain secondaries you can play no matter who you're playing against so for example retrieve octarius data you can do that one by uh honestly having units like infiltrators that can get up on points early they can go back and deep strike come back down later on so uh you know a couple squads of that will help you really play that secondary it's a very powerful secondary that you can count on um additionally of course we have things like engage dominate our stranglehold as we talk about and uh always one of the first things that we do when we come to a table and we look at the map is can you can you dominate this mission can you play stranglehold and if you can absolutely it's great you know um so i think that's a big that's a big thing to consider as well and engage to a lesser extent it's tougher for marines because they're not necessarily known for being fast but if you can if you want to play towards engage what you can do is you just have a couple things for that early game so again infiltrators being up on objectives uh a single one or two units of bikes it could be outriders or whatever um and that will let you kind of play that so that's some thoughts oh maybe some terminators in the back oh cheeky little terminator drop cheeky terminators if i make this charge i'll be a happy camper yeah totally i'm trying to screen out as much as i can without these guys being visible to meltas because you will just pick them up if you can naturally um and i don't want you in my table quarter because you have retrieve octarius data i do indeed do indeed let's move the dready boy up eradicators don't really have anywhere to go because you did a you done gone did a good job of that thank you i'm trying however if i can pick up two four six eight ten twelve thirteen sisters and shooting before i shoot eradicators and i can shoot more than ball three fourteen sisters but yeah because they were attacks like vanguard beds are less salamander-y mm-hmm because that reroll means less but ignoring p1 with a two-up they're still good just still good yeah um i don't know i think it's it's rough because space marines are middle of the road and salamanders are middle of the road within space marines so when i say it's rough i mean if you're trying to win gt level events your final few games are going to be an uphill battle but in general i think like just you're playing at home with your buddies it's a great army yeah or even even just like an rtt you know you're still they can still they can still compete you know there's still space we're in a funny place yeah where space springs are not busted um anymore yeah but um so it's kind of it's yeah it puts a weird context on trying to yanari it's tough because hinari is better with things like dracar things like like incubi and hellions but um you can can totally play play into it um i'm just thinking because it's changed a lot actually you know with the the raciers are not characters anymore so you can't give them the inari uh treats uh and the harlequins harlequins are weird because what it will let you do is it'll let you be able to get outside of your your bubbles right so right now normally in order to punch you want to have a true master this you can get your four wheels to wound um but as inari you can get a lot there's a lot of ways to actually just get rerolls you know with strats and stuff like that so you can be more independent so i think that's a that's an interesting fact that you can get there unfortunately you lose some amazing abilities with harlequins but um i'm trying to think what else i would like try to lean into specifically in karn obviously is just amazing and so i think personally when i have played i don't know if you've seen our game where i played uh we done we did one with just harlequins with the incarnation i believe and then we did another one that was the gnarlequins with ian karn um and they both work well you know you're looking for places to to proc uh getting kills or having things die so that you can just be teleporting her everywhere and that the incarn is very good she can be truly competitive um so yeah i would definitely lean into that look at that for the craft world size side um you're helping units that kind of aren't amazing in combat right they don't really have many standout units um and yeah so it to me it's more of they bring some different kind of firepower to your unary list and i would lean into that on that side um yeah so some thoughts which uh what you doing there buddy do some window shooting heck yeah window shooting window shot through a window i like it that's one squad the other squad it's actually funny if they stand on the lower level they're not tall enough to see through the window they're short bull hits they're short little guys are they demunitative i don't think there is a light in which you can view it as a nice thing to say to somebody it's a neutral thing it's just it's just a description it's all it is well that's true of like you know it's not worth getting into i could say that there's a lot of connotations in english that are unspoken they're not denotations they're just like we we perceive many things as negative diminutive and we perceive many other things as people well adorable is gonna intentionally bring an eighth edition army and i think a lot of other people are also gonna bring eighth edition armies and even the weakest factions are still having fun interactive games like look at it was thursday thursday's game we both played eighth edition armies yeah and we like it felt derpy because we played so much ninth but you can still have a lot of fun if both sides are eighth edition oh absolutely some of our best games thursday the week before we also did two eighth edition codexes and it was awesome yeah great great games so if you like if you want tao or if you still trim i find it very relaxing and the retributive armors are very strong making a face smell now yeah i have literally seen you cry because of painting gold trim there's nothing relaxing about it no
