my hopefully misplaced explorers well the request for this video came a long time ago people were asking me what kind of equipment to use what kind of equipment do you recommend what shall we buy stuff like that and basically I was not very keen on doing this video because to be honest I do not really want to give a recommendation anyway the request was there frequently people keep sending the emails so I said okay I gonna do it hit him I started like okay weird how so my first idea was going in my basement that all of you know meanwhile I do it was the equipment but then again I will start comparing things and giving direct recommendations which again I don't you don't want to do so I decided it's beautiful whether I just take you for a ride and we'll talk about it so I'm talking about here I want to be clear on something it's always a very personal choice so just because I think so one of my gears from school broke and that is not because of sponsoring me this is because I like it afraid for a stage one fact regulators do not freeze because they're pissed no dial frame they freeze because of moisture in the gas or in the regulator and that usually is a user error so it gives the regular was not kept try people take the dust cap into order second stage moisture is in the second stage things like that in fact the piston-driven first stage has a lot less moving parts the pressure goes directly on these parts through the diaphragm so breathing work of breathing will always be better than Amidala frame 1 the breathing characteristic is more direct also this is very subjective I mean a lot of people will will breathe this tuple or in epics and will not realize and Jesus Christ I mean epics was just as a synonym for a diaphragm driven rig that as a mom not saying there or anything like that right now it's just that's why I didn't want to do this video in the first place people might not realize it right but I feel that there is difference and this is why I prefer the peaceful German stations the other thing is that if I go the deeper cold water I always have helium in the mix and as soon as you have 25-30 percent helium in the mix you basically cannot freeze the regulator's physically just not possible and it doesn't happen in fact I cannot remember the last frost regulator I had ever must be 20 years or more so yeah about twenty five stages and one of the main reasons for the smart twenty five stages is also that the host configuration that we dive that I have described in a couple of videos is based on this type of first stage about ten Mach 20 mark 25 or similar so it's just a perfect fit so what else backplates likely it's all the same it basically doesn't matter I have some flying around forth also have some scuba probes have some dill sauce no prayin Beckley it's it really doesn't matter as long as they're made in it in a nice way and they have those sharp edges or whatever you can die with a big one important is that the slots and the through the holes are all the same distance so there's a standard for the distance between the bolts or some doubles which is 28 centimetres to millimetres that should be equal so you can interchange but everything else it does matter one nice feature on the back plate the lower edges that would be around your kidneys they should be bent backwards that's important or at least that's a that's a detail that I'm looking for when I'm taking a new one an interesting thing when we talk about neck blades is the storage tank storage pack for a lift back there's one brain that managed to get it right and that's also because everything else doesn't matter if it's tears on scubapro god knows what they're all to narrow on the bottom so it's pain in the ass to get the back in and get it out that was the the stool the health and ones they're just perfect so whenever I have a chance I see that I get a wholesome storage pack for my backrest that's the makes life a lot easier Ping's same thing I mean basically there's no real bad ones out there at the moment I'm diving ischemic role and again it's more than details of how they are made they can't make a difference on the
