ABANDONED UNTOUCHED CASTLE With Everything Left INCREDIBLE FAIRYTALE CHÂTEAU

sometimes it really feels like we have drifted into a fairy tale [Music] this was one of the most convincing places yet [Music] we are greeted by a majestic entrance hall adorned with ebony furniture and trophies from hunting parties so very long ago [Music] designed to impress although now surrounded by decay its exquisite features don't fail to leave us stunned [Music] kept within the same family for centuries it's hard to understand how such an elegant home could possibly be left this way above us three floors of enchanting bedrooms await all boasting their own unique style [Music] we find a family chapel [Music] and down in the basement the heart of the chateau where time is so perfectly frozen [Music] this outstanding property and this breathtaking scenery is somewhere we won't soon forget [Music] join us inside this forgotten home that transports you away into a fairytale realm we are at our final airbnb it's an 11th century castle just look at this place so beautiful here kind of reminds me of um farquaad land when i show you the front you know what i mean covered stone floor it's a real castle there's like a restaurant or something here but yeah this is what reminds me of far cornland i would love to live here so old do you see this i could literally film an episode in here it's probably one of the coolest airbnbs you've ever stayed in [Applause] it's probably the oldest past has ever been lovely shower room it's carl's bed how was it man yeah but we're going to take you to a phenomenal mansion today it's like a super big palace incredible architecture i'm super excited to show you guys this place it's time for some bug spray and texture to spray man what happened yesterday oh man sam it was terrible hey that's one of the worst experiences there's a little bit of cost footage they got on this phone that's right sam yeah how's it feeling right now bro oh damn it's gone down a bit though man at least there's no like ball side yeah i think it'll be right good what the hell's going on right now so we're gonna go and get some food we're gonna eat we got a late night got a six hour drive last night so now i'm gonna head into a city get some food and then we're going to take you to the amazing abandoned mansion [Music] food's here i'm pretty excited about this it's looking damn good you excited for your first pokeball car [Music] what is going on everyone and welcome back to the south france road trip and we have brought you to another incredible chateau and this place is a time capsule everything's still left behind but a lot of it's been kind of like moved around and trashed i think it was like a bit of a party mansion maybe the last owners but looks of the photos we're having big parties in here maybe it's gone abandoned because they couldn't keep up with the upkeep anymore and i was just sat here decaying and from the outside you'd think it would be super clean and untouched in here but that's not quite the case mean lobby i think when you come through the front doors you've been greeted with the music room [Music] look at this music stand with a candle to light it up that's really nice that's actually what's in here oh yeah i've seen this somewhere this cabinet but they'd be upset least you know how it is now yeah look at that terrible you see there used to be a lot of photographs on the wall in here not anymore there's loads of family photos here hey look isn't that the cabin up there maybe this is obviously a kid look how fancy they are look at what it was like in here see this will give everyone a taste let's still get the same curtain this is in the next room this room they're in i think is the next room along where are they all there's loads of kids in these photos i bet the whole family lived here yeah on horses out the front there's still horses here to this day and stuff 2005. the furniture over here is beautiful it's like your typical french chateau furniture look at that somebody sliced it sadly but yeah they've been shooting it with like pellet guns yeah who the hell in their right mind would do that's all from a fireplace every room in this place has a fireplace it's clean it's super clean look at it it looks like it's like brand new p l and g which i left or right does this lead to the same rooms these two doors yeah let's go in here wow look at the ceiling whoa oh my god the fireplace this beautiful beautiful room look at it going to waste and see this place has been rifled down looking through stuff no oh man so he just got poo boxed yeah what i didn't know that was a thing i've heard of stink palming all that sort of stuff but that sucks oh my gosh yeah look at the furniture yeah i think this is the one from the photo actually in there oh yeah twisted fingers yeah the side of this table be careful in here tread on too yeah that's gross wow lots of more more family photographs wallpaper and it's crazy look at that architecture on the roof oh no you get back here look back let's be the beautiful scene wow these chairs are in place no let me do this real quick what a beautiful room let me give you a hand look at that now and that is what we call a nice room uh-huh look at this lovely french chair too look at that oh my gosh the blue's covered a lot of it is completely but i like the balance of this it's like a real abandoned mansion when they're too clean it's almost like yeah it's living there it's nice and they're super abandoned i can't believe they had one it's a lot of money's worth booze right here more here so cool crockery as well probably real gold leaf as well living in a place like this might be no no definitely not makers coming off as well look oh yeah i said how's that listening can't even get the real points [Laughter] come on guys 1938 it's quite an old one i guess that could be old hitler no way yeah yeah look world war two in it this has been world war ii it's going on there the turret it's centauri yeah yeah oh yeah can you see what we have i know what is it yeah it's got roof a little storm oh look at all the booze that's obviously what they use to shoot the poster the poster the painting i don't know how you even load this though good games table some little scales so on the other side of the lobby wow [Music] look at these photographs soon as you come in looks like oh look she's got a whole loads of dead animals that's weird that has noticed that taxidermy is actually a lot more common in france than england yeah yeah i guess it's mostly with very wealthy people and a lot of these that we see in french of chateaus look at this lovely writing desk it's probably outside at some point someone's in the army yeah look another army feeling it's a lovely desk this is i love peering into the past for forever yeah it's one of my favorite things i love the chairs that's an extra nice on that one i think all that would have just been woven by hand as well that's the most crazy thing about it i think i prefer this to like the leather [Music] like lots of little working areas oh wow i bet this has been in this world world war ii stuff this thing is so long look at him imagine if he's been in the family for even probably i know what where's the family now so sad really isn't it very sad after all those years but they're just people can't keep them anymore these shadows oh yeah and she's long machines lovely curtains looking back at that it's phenomenal you almost think you think looking back about that it's abandoned wow what room there you can see look this is a massive photo oh yeah to this going all the way down yeah they've all fell off you can see the water's getting in here and i've got the cracks coming through yeah big hole there [Music] look at that bench it's enough for the whole family oh my god look at that it's like a frame dirty that's a nice seat lovely partition oh wow i'm filming five personal straight now can i white marble solid really nice i love it it's like in france it's very like white blues and golds in it mm-hmm it goes well together look at that it's nice to see people haven't sort of ruined everything they've just made a bit of a mess i think squatters were just living in here oh yeah something like that but yeah look at that old portrait back there oh wow she's actually holding she looks she might have been the artist it's a painting she's overpainting there's a painting of someone holding a painting a horn you don't want to blow in that this is a royal room yes it's a royal place [Music] what tiny little table for this big room sit here and have tea lovely chairs though through the music room oh yeah well they're glass oh it's like rubber to put on the feet of things i think all right yeah i like this room it's damn beautiful so before we leave the music room i think jess is going to play us a tune now come on players a nice tune you're just playing nice ones so out the music room into the main lobby sort of area let me uh so there's a pool room there let me do a pan this whole sort of area the archways in here are beautiful these chairs too yeah super grand so you can start seeing the taxidermy in this place now nice furniture [Music] poor little guy good guy look how big they must be massive that's a wild hog wild boar yeah that's not what chase doesn't portugal is it thank god beautiful round five o'clock let's do this pool room first and then make our way back to the staircase it's not pool tables billiards and not letters no holes beautiful piece of furniture though look at the the legs on the bottom it's crazy to think really like 30 years ago maybe less maybe a little bit more who knows if this room would have been filmed with the family mm-hmm to playing games having fun and relaxing i think when they think back to their family home they probably think they probably didn't think it's like this weird isn't it it's really weird really strange damn who are the candles hey look it's like the score marker on the wall still works 50 points to do you see this yes so cool chair with steps up to it cool it's just numbers it's like a telephone book yeah there's nothing in it tools oh look a little trumpet look at the floor in here it's very wonky this room yeah isn't it look it's dipping yeah dipping oh when that goes through it's going to be crap sound like thunder i love this area this little arch area really nice that's actually like marble inlay yeah see that's where the ball would have been either side of the door i've got tons of these see look at the party they were partying in their mum i'd love to have one of these it's like a phone hey do they open up yeah you look i've ever had look at grandfather claw but they're using it to stall their kings oh yeah oh there's metal lines hold on staircase right here beautiful there's some more clothes even the clothes are left behind another they look so rich don't they they look probably millionaires well look triple dagger things actually found them together too oh oh yeah it's scary well they've just not been opened out the packaging look at that though that's really nice i love black wood look at that lovely is that actually dark wood as well yeah it's not no it's painted look look lots of little fossil fossil shells piece of quartz please touch these yet more uh tears teacups let's see what else this floor has i think this room that goes back through to the dining room i guess i thought this was going to be a bathroom but look it's a it's definitely down this is huge this place oh look glasses of white oh yeah your way out into the garden and stuff oh wow this is crazy that is really nice that would work just happened to them amazing can you imagine finishing something like that out of wood yeah and then you just look at it and then sell it i wouldn't be able to sell it i'd have to keep it for myself you look so nice if you had the room to just display these books it'd be so nice yeah it's just like storage for stuff more books filing governor fine arts assurances documents and assurance socialize they took it all normally they don't though but yeah maybe maybe yeah i wonder what was that yeah about a huge painting was there you know yeah but they when they left it but it took all the really nice stuff i don't know that ripped all this sort of stuff don't really matter [Music] they probably already had another fully furnished mansion just waiting for him the staircase to the last room at this level oh spyro stacky it's cool wooden one should be a wooden sword toy oh yeah medieval toys for medieval kids toilet with moldy poo no no toilet another little washroom washroom they separate the rooms don't they a little back room not much left in here i think it's time to head upstairs yes [Music] just time to go upstairs it's weird because when we walked over it was so hot i couldn't wait to get inside and now it's freezing cold here i can't wait to get back into the sun this has been apart from croatia this has been the hottest trip yet oh yeah cool i love sparrow staircases but one of the nicest bedrooms i've ever seen is actually into london traffic this isn't it more modern books got the really old ones right there outside this there must be a lake outside yeah i saw the lake you know when we were trying to get through the reservoirs michelangelo 1999 these are from oh wow michelangelo there she's of a horse the last people to stay here then be so strange living in like today's age and just coming back to this is your house oh my god this photo album it's insane look at these i don't want to take them out just in case they've gotta be so old so try and take one out be cool to know if there's an image on the back nothing what did it say time's changed do you like his old dresses but it wouldn't be very comfortable look on a sweet bathroom oh wow there's a safe up there look someone's broken into it like straight through the slide cause a fly infestation yeah there's a wasp really dump of stuff so first it's just trash oh oh yeah yes three stories this place i don't like probably yeah these bedrooms are they've been modernized the dead wasps and stuff on the floor it's a wasp's nest in here look at the mold again lovely furniture though oh look stars in the ceiling is that all i'm not gonna oh my god there they are yeah oh the toys are off limits now that's gross is that the smell why do they smell like that this room has just been completely destroyed by water look at the roof and stuff oh damn look they had a log burner in the bathroom oh yeah it's pretty nice make sure you have some freezing cold stuff in the morning yeah oh look all their clothes are left yeah all the yeah look at that cabinet rotten that's freaky that wasp's nest you know wow that's really modern yeah it's a two thousands [Music] yeah i think that was obviously where they'd be last showering so the new towels and stuff mm-hmm this is the bath the bedroom we paired through oh outside the house oh it's really sad actually this is this place it is such a happy family they're kind of trashed like this makes it more sad there just you back then i bet they thought this place would never be like this how can it be it's crazy that's so cute collage yeah look they're like um no way anything like these before no these must be old struggling to focus this is appearing way back in time like late eating hundreds look at the boxes they're in too i could look through these all day though yeah look at all of these they're coming in four hours long children this is so cool look it's like the man of the house hold it against the window wow it's insane i've never seen anything like this my whole life you've gotta be super rare think of how many abandoned places we've done i know i've never seen anything like that oh my god who knows dogs one two three four five six dogs how long ago these were taken this is unbelievable to find these in this shape yeah perfect condition oh man it's like what are we missing i know look at that yeah it's like a uh it's like a wall yeah look there's hundreds of people that own awesome encouraged i wonder what they took these off what kind of camera would you do because one of those ones that like blue stuff are available yeah it happens to be all right we're gonna have to stop but wow there they are again look at the colors in the head hold it to the left wait look at the color that's so cool treat to find something like that yeah damn i'm super grateful to be able to see things like bring me this lunch and my breakfast wow should we shut these just to like keep them a little bit more protected the lid that one's gone wow that's probably one of the coolest things we'll ever find yeah 100 into the last room then oh damn oh my gosh the best room of the house wow that is what you call a french bedroom i can't believe this is here when the rest of the rooms are nothing someone's no one's touched this how weird is this it's just so nice yeah that they've left they've left everything in place it's like a museum that was a window boarded it over what a lovely bedroom for two children probably no it was a balcony but it's sealed oh man is that pun do we da drop him [Music] maybe that's who slept in it looks like a grown-up version of 11 from stranger things wow look at this i love how it all matches yeah the wallpaper yeah on the bed i think they would have all they would have it's a personal order fireplace beautiful lady i know you've heard of rolex but if you've ever yeah illustration yeah oh man what room this is favorite crafting room i think it's like favorite my most favorite bedroom yet yeah do we do this for me yes huge old tv back in the day that would have been like an elite version handbag look videos i like this way nice color the blue room i haven't even seen this room yet wow oh wow oh you can see this area it's so bright still trashed though what the hell happened look at that lovely little cot is that the bathroom is that there's a few in here yeah it's just perfect for them and humid it's horrible seeing a baby cold day like that lettuce oh look at the children riding too shells see if i can hey look the chair matches the wallpaper oh yeah let's get over here look at these photographs oh professional baby ones not sure what that's for is it like a no it could be for a picnic set i'm not sure what that was for your dressing table holy water brushes pretty cologne here look there's the key legal they probably had so many keys i think that door let me see if i can get over whoa yeah it's just covered miss these crazy things they've probably grown up and lived their whole lives by now just like this before it's just so long ago [Music] so someone's trying to find a way up nothing like that oh yeah because these stairs stop there's another way up somewhere i saw some stairs at the end of the other oh here's that goes up again oh the bat look at this so cool yes ton of rooms up here oh no way how cool is that wow so they've got their own private truffle upstairs i can't believe this is in here it's strange well we're not even in the attic yet but on the third floor it's a big room oh i think they would kneel down there yeah that's a really cool find there's like all these letters everywhere okay super old ones look sealed with wax clip right in that is there that is here and all that christmas decorations by the way but some parts are like the attic i don't know about the floor cool this storage boxes wow well they like motorcycle helmets i saw some of those downstairs too oh the bat all their suitcases just storage mostly tons of these boots as well bryden farmer boots let's see what else i really like these stairways really cool mulch more books look at them stacked up in the egg oh wow a mirror oh it smells like wee in here oh it really smells it's been an animal has been up in here well i haven't stayed here for long it's so strong hey this is maybe some of the photographs from the stairwell oh yeah it stinks doesn't it hey look this was actually a bedroom yeah or it was a storage room and just look at the view ah i wouldn't do to have my house somewhere like this so i'm really starting to think now a lot of this stuff does get all i think it's not charlie it's just into this little bit so we're mostly in the roof right now but it does go up once more oh i can't even explain the smell i can't do this quickly so humid i think that's what's making it worse i love the partition all right all right then we i don't know there's little holes cut in the bottom of all the doors like it's for a cat again this is to the very top of the roof oh looks like a chicken pen huh it's just a breeze of hot air but it's still through oh man that was the lake in the photo look at that it just goes on and on there's a castle right there can you see it yeah gas on the hill there's the pool i wish that was full right now wow potato nine potato for mushrooms huh it's like shopping how weird all right musical instrument cheese grater and clothes so we've got one last thing to explore and that's the torus which you haven't actually been in yet have you know that spiral staircase you've seen oh yeah there's each there's one of those in each turret wow we are the turret it's a very skinny turret there's not a wasp's nest at the top of here they're not very look rfc oh yeah no what oh yeah [Music] this is obviously like a kid's room oh it's the original wallpaper oh yeah and then it's got like the kids they've got cats and private stuff how cute oh it looks creepy in here now though it's gonna be creepy here at night man strange how you can only get to this through this the turret yeah it's like a secret area yeah the building is just so big oh my god wow it's like a sauna shows you how big this face look and there what they're making up there yeah look at the window it shows how big you've seen that biggest place is buildings see the balcony there oh yeah that's the nice bedroom we were just in damn that makes me woozy over there yeah the storage room what were they doing hanging the bottles up to dry god it's hot up here it's gonna be like 40 degrees in there yeah i mean it's like 32 outside yeah 34 and you're right damn this there's one last thing to film there uh-huh that's the base mode oh yeah it's gonna be cool down there if this will actually take us the basement because the kitchen isn't there in and out of the kitchen this is their way into the house oh yeah there's basement time then oh my god here is like a dungeon there's a door in there so the basement is actually ground level like the house starts one level up look what's that building materials it's like they were gonna renovate this place man i think it's someone upstairs the kitchen this is the only kitchen yep it's the only kitchen in the house wow that's insane i was cooking a lot of food yeah so yeah they had servants cooking everything yeah look there's even like um i don't know i wonder when in in more modern days are they cooking all their food down here i guess so yeah they would have been there's another kitchen so look what we got there that's got dates in it jackson's 2008 so the latest date that i've found is 2009. okay so i don't want to get it wrong again quick maps 12 years 12 years we should have known that straight away so if you didn't know guys me and jess actually went to school together and we're in maths class together yeah i was top of the maths and jessica's never even turned just never turned up for us sitting there waiting for her waiting for her to come in so i could terrorize her and have fun of her and she just never used to come so that is my worst thing and now look at spoon we can't work out any masks yeah this thing's like tipping over big time front legs can still just rusted off that's a big one we'll cut fridges go on what do you reckon this one there's tula oh yeah [Music] what are empty peaches onions onions pickled onions mmm look what's happening to them though olives i love pepperonis man they're smooth they've got the food next to like the rat poison oh the bat and what's in the bathroom then what's through to suspend your food hey look through though looks like those are jars oh yeah skunks hey there must have been the scouts because oh here we go wine time what's that way that dance oh wow look at this a real wine cellar let me zoom in a little bit and pan so you can see whoa whoa jesus jesus that wall is filled with wine i don't want to stay in it for too long really without baffling around but you can definitely see it in the middle damn wine cellar is that the first wine cellar over the truck i think it is yeah isn't it back up here's all those jars must be the next round oh oh it's orange peels and a whole orange beers it's got the beers wow evergreen window here's all the jars they would have been using i'll just quickly check this room real quick yes storage rooms down here that's where we can see through loads of preserved food back here as well what's this one hmm is it link through um no ah they're everywhere no ah ah okay let's go oh my god it just flew straight over my head where is it now it's to avoid it yeah let's see the jars there to use it sounds like this is collapsed yeah look at this like poison poison what that means something we've seen that on the food in the other place remember oh yeah smells like wee it's where the animals don't break into this people peaches loads of them um it smells like a poo oh my god someone's how [ __ ] they've food on the tray and put it in there what the hell is wrong with people oh stood right next to that here's some of the food they would have been cooking down here just imagine this table food of this type of food beef aloe mood now look we've got the champagne bowl with jesus in the top he looks like an old school ice water fridge no i ain't touching it empty made it outside and look at this place it's phenomenal it's like a real castle one of the most beautiful ones yeah just check out the view here too so good steve steve's getting attacked by insect run [Laughter] run run run and look at the torrents steve's getting attacked right now oh man look at this the greenhouse are we meant to be to you guys [Laughter] there's something special about abandoned greenhouses this one's looking real overgrown yeah wow look there's the doorway in there you get to it no no from the house i mean yeah oh yes the door is locked yeah yeah look at old swing set i love this can you imagine when it was at work it looked horsepoo bro when i saw that i was like what the hell how did they appear here no way oh they're beautiful crazy is that man on his face oh yeah and eye covering i think they're well done [Music] look at these wild horses wow hello hey flies i'm filming jessie yeah that's insane no way they normally when they're out in the sun they normally have a mask on their eyes to stop it that must be so annoying for them yeah that's what makes me think that they're not looked after yeah can't believe this right now so it's something of a real fairy tale goodbye horses i bid you farewell probably brother and sister so we got distracted by the horses but let's see if we can get in to the greenhouse no you can't get into it can you get to the pool oh yeah that's so cool i would love to see it with all the plants yeah that'd be so cool they have a good place to room but they don't need grass anyway don't know horses yeah like fruit and stuff guys what if these horses actually belong to the family that used to live here i mean the photos had so many horse pictures yeah i've seen photos of them outside here with the horses as well it could be them and they're just left abandoned yeah mom kind of sad it's very sad actually because like they're really friendly it's like they're used to people yeah definitely yeah so carl's actually the horse whisperer he's actually just an animal whisperer in general i knew this would work come on that was like a magical scene right now damn wow that was an experience i think i'll always remember that this was the lake there's foot there was photos of them sat out there maybe they used to swim in it yeah oh i need to swim yeah let's go to the other side again you can actually get down in there but yeah here's the back end of the building oh yes the main doors in so i guess this might be in the front then actually yeah oh look this is magical man so so guys that's the end of this video what a phenomenal explorer so good and the experience at the end with the horses oh no there's mosquitoes everywhere but their experience with the horses how magical it's so nice and this whole place like it's phenomenal we're in the woods it's nice and hot yeah that was awesome little hobbit house on the way in and stuff i really enjoyed that
