A video we never expected to have to make...

I've tried to film this like I actually tried like ten times before Meredith got here and then she came in and I was like good help me there's there's no easy way to say it so I'm just gonna say it my our really good friend Jake passed away four days ago you know he had a bad four-wheeler accident just a freak accident Jake had a wife named breezy and they had two little bitty kids together and so it's been really hard we were really close with them and it's been hard for the last few days for us and even harder for them he ran bunker branding and so he's obviously you know every if the bunkers really really shaken up by this too and so Merida can I let everybody have a break for a few days and so we posted on social media that hey your orders are coming but they're gonna be a little behind because you know Jake passed away and I hadn't planned on making a video but everyone came over to the YouTube channel and started saying you know we're gonna miss you Jake rest in peace Jake on the video so I feel like I need to address it but I don't want to make a sad video that's not who Jake was and yeah yep and I've known Jake most of my life but I wasn't really close with him we were younger he was my brother's age and so they hung out so I knew him he came over and spent the night my house but I didn't hang out with him that much and then we both went to college and got married and then we both moved back to our hometown and he he came into the vet clinic one day when I was working with his wife breezy and their dogs and that was the first time I'd ever met her and I was like she seems cool I think Meredith would really like her I was like you guys should come over any dinner sometime and they were like sounds good and so they did I got pregnant blinking and I was super sick and then they came back into the clinic and really well you've just been kind of not doing anything because breezy was pregnant with Grayson and we've been super tight since where is it best buddy I asked Jake if he would help me sew merchandise sell t-shirts and hats and stuff because I wanted to do it I didn't really know how and he came on start working part-time and then it grew and he quit his job and came and took a leap of faith that came and worked with me ranch merch is what it's called at the time which is a terrible name he helped us start that and then we turned into bunker branding and then we moved out of the garage and got official and rented a place and then we did that like immediately well that's good really you'll see you'll see in this video that we were overwhelmed we thought sure with a selfie t-shirt and it was like and we were like we need help yeah but I I sat down the other day to start watching videos of Jake just cuz I missed his face and I wanted to hear him and see him and and he's funny he's stupid he's really really just stupid jokes non-stop I thought you know let's make a video for Jake that's fun and light-hearted and one that you know his kids can watch you know years from now and it'll bring a smile to their face because their dad is a silly nut and this is not a video about Jake in his life and his children and everything because we don't have that I don't have that footage but I wanted to show you guys the footage I do have which is Jake hanging out with me ba-dum and us building bunker branding and Jake was a huge part of that and so we're just gonna roll a bunch of clips that I just sorted through on YouTube Mayer has not seen these clips yeah I mean she's probably seen them all throughout the years but she hasn't seen this this compilation that I put together over the last few hours and we're gonna roll it and I also do want to say that we have a GoFundMe all the money goes straight to Jake's wife and their two kids because they are obviously scared about what the future holds for them without a dad in their life and so you know it's just to help them get back on their feet and it's doing really good right now I think it's up to 50,000 and I think it would be almost okay 40,000 and I think it'd be cool if the demolition came in the water so if you like there's a link in the description below that if not just watch this video and smile at Jake just like we smiled at Jake every time we saw it was hard we got the call Monday night and you know Monday morning yeah Monday morning 4:00 4:00 in the morning and I got a call it and it said he was in a bad accident it's not looking good and we need to get to the hospital and we spent all day at the hospital with all Jake's family and friends and we were in the room when he passed away surrounded by all his family and friends and we held on to him about the while he passed and man it's hard it's hard but watching these videos helps me remember Jake and put a smile back on my face so enjoy the compilation of stupid clips of me cheek ready yeah we are heading out all the powers out in all these buildings that were driving past oh hey Matt dude fancy meeting you here you ready to party ready to party it was at this moment that he knew I flew the drone right into the street Jake's gonna throw a log at it and hit the branch hit the branch not the drone no and I'm gonna catch it before it hits the ground wish us luck and that ladies and gentlemen is how you kill a maverick drone [Music] that's my buddy Jake over here they did and so we're trying to do our own merge and so I asked Jake of like hey do you want to be my my merch manager Jake's making all this magic happened look at him over here just just working away doing stuff that I don't understand how to do Jake's always been here like he creeps around the house a lot but now he has a reason to creep around the house so he's gonna be here a lot a lot of the block yeah let's get that table back for him y'all strung the zipline over the pool and busted the lightbulbs from the command line into the deep end of the pool yes what you also didn't see on this video was Dennis who fell in the water there hey he didn't wanna get wet and so he spent about ten minutes getting that ladder to the middle of the pool so he could fix a light bulb and then Jake just walks over the end and pushes him in snake and I are gonna be packing all this stuff until this business grows enough that we're like maybe we should hire somebody we have a printer I mean first step business right there just getting a printer he started ranch merch in our garage for those of you who think bunker branding has always been a big warehouse it was in our garage and our employees were me mayor Jake and his wife breezy and by employees I mean those are the only people helping us no one is actually making any money at first he kept trying to make me do a bunch of weird stuff like that so I whole time we were doing this and I think Jake I don't like no I'm not funny I'm not funny Jake how much trouble are we in buddy no queening says okay Jake is the only reason that our warehouse is functioned like it has like such a geek yeah it's gonna be so organized hard keeping organized now Jake was very tidy we thought this would take us a couple weeks to sell we've sold over half of them in six hours we're gonna be working late tonight to fulfill orders hey Meredith nice baby Jake's baby she's tiny there oh don't worry about that dude we're printing our very first order Michael Lee Puri first order Michael you're our first customer nice ranch t-shirt large athletic Heather all right we got it buddy right here for you oh man this is so official also this is so inefficient we gotta figure out like a Ford assembly line way to do this instead of you and me both putting this one shirt in here the four of us we're up until like midnight that night and maybe pack defender don't Thanks well it's funny it's in like two hours I say Mary how many have we packed and you go two and a half we computer jammed up and I was like it is dark outside of the next clip I was like how many we packed Mayer we just packed this one so how many the pack you go two and a half okay close it up seal it up man great for that we're ready did you double-check the order yeah okay I'm just kidding I did actually like check it like seven times and then we throw it in there done seriously so Jake gives it to mayor mayor takes it in here to me and breezy notice that the wine on the table a really efficient workers back then that was the only way we didn't quit oh my gosh she taped it to a bag and it ripped the bag can we fire employees yet you got the one and only small oh wait oh my god Jake this business is gonna get closed down so fast it barely flexes you can do it mayor they're a team our boys our boys are working together if it is it goes in the system it takes away from our inventory and it's not it says what is it they just put up an error message yeah look like you guys are whispering sweet nothings when I turn the camera on you [Music] nailed it first try [Music] we don't need to be wasteful though that's the thing hey Jake Jake says he has something for me or for us pretty Yeah right okay so I know how you know YouTube recognized you get so many viewers need kind of like Bethenny recognized I love myself for five Yas orders huh I got you it's not a placard but it's pretty cool oh that's pretty cool wait thanks legit good morning Jake good morning are you ready for this I'm ready you know what's not very exciting what watching two dudes at the hardware store picking out a door but you know how we can make it exciting have you ever heard of an epic edit nope I just ended it to look epic ready for this yeah good luck Jake I actually have no idea just a 22 hard as you can I think you just tap it wasn't it when we got this press none of us had ever printed a t-shirt ever and the guy came to set it up and he thought he was just training us on how to like use this particular machine and then he got there and found out that they were only like three employees and none of us knew I'm sure they're more than three employees there were very many like six I was like printing like companies will buy by a much more modest machine first like a manual press or a smaller automatic press and we're like no we want to like we want to change the game Jake and Steven were like we want to change the G yeah so we got the big dog and he came in like to show us how to use this machine and we're like whoa so how do you print one shirt that's what we need to know how to do and we he finally like taught us the basics and we started like putting shirts on and Jake got really excited and wanted to see how fast he could make it go and so he's like I printed like 100 shirts in 20 minutes which would the big deal but then we realized that they were all good and we had to throw them all away what are we looking at right now for with so it's not language why is this how you take to the file a picture of a t-shirt is your step one it's happening no like you did it wrong cancel it's not printing it's supposed to just be ready you're not printing yeah and so the printer prints that if you fall you're fired the board skills is strong we're gonna be so effective the next machine you're gonna see is called the exposure unit so we have Scott I just wanna make t-shirts all day this is awesome really fast doesn't have a dog on it cook it it Meredith come on here it comes drumroll please drumroll please it's coming out this is it we did it ever [Applause] Wow [Music] this is the worst look at this dumb P truck do you guys like the truck good you're on our team now also I've done some research it wasn't just Meredith it was your mom mr. Jake mr. Steven and mr. David they were all in on it yeah Jake I want you to know that you should not trust even because I just want to throw him under the bus I said hey I know David had a part in it I know mayor had a part in it and I know Steven at a party and I said Steven did Jake have any part in it or as he was he clear he goes not he definitely a part in it I've been here with the dream team talking we got we got a nunchuck Dave over here we got Steve Jake Mayer's his baton everyone has weapons classic bunker all right here the the main talking points today so the first one is we're out of space at the bunker so I'm gonna be a little awestruck her first office on the right is Jake's office Jake is always working super hard what are you doing no shooting Jake's but this is the greatest thing Jake's ever come up with all right fire multiple these are all things you have to pack up today right so like when you see a stack with all these in it those are all different orders that have to be packed and shipped today oh it's 2,500 orders today that's a new record 2,500 orders out in one day the post office is gonna hate you call it yeah obviously it's uh bless hats being made right here those all have to be done today look at these piles of shirts this is all stuff that is going out that is the best that's a third that is just what's been done this morning crawling in the bunker now everyone come out with your hands up this is a stick-up Lincoln your big trouble mister drag no David's is still too cold but getting eating clothes mine is citable mine is not not like comfortable warm but it's I could sit in here and survive Jake's he put onions in the live in his Jake's is actually really nice and warm Jake is big on cooking and so it was super funny that he put up onion and a line to like flavor his bathwater have you made any drinks can you make one with protein in it trying to grow bro it's a pretty workout in this yeah pre-workout and protein with a margarita perfect we're about to have some fajitas Jake need a man buddy I told Jake hey figure out the food he said mom I got you [Music] [Applause] [Music] Jay get in there [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] we're cooking inside the warehouse inside a trailer you flop that weenie around first place we got Clinton the maroon shirt back here second place that was me third place Jake coming in third Stephen coming in fourth birthday today so we decided to go float the river down on Jake's birthday no he lost it are you sure you just had it okay Clint we lost the wedding man Jake's birthday boy you're sure you just lost it I don't know what brought those but that is what found his wedding man but you had it two minutes ago when we can find this we can find this we need more info where did it fall the crime scene now we're going in [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Laughter] [Music] [Applause] Jake yeah look at that little wimpy Jeep over there there's not even a rifle on the roof Pro pediatric dentistry are you serious kids teeth fall out you don't even need a ticket to dentist cranked up to life look at this thing are you gonna run over this appointment if they get in front of me I'm not slowing down so we'll just yell for you they said hey Jake oh you mean somebody wanted me instead of you yeah you're getting so famous some little kid just helped blow something up at me Andy gonna fulfill his request or I mean I get that little kid now he's telling Katie took a selfie with his mom that is breezy Jake's wife and his son Grayson who's Lincoln's age every tiny little [Music] [Music] that is Gracie's dad holding their baby girl Collins [Music] pick up the check so as you can probably see by those videos Jake was always smiling always happy always funny always cracking jokes not afraid to embarrass himself and I think that's what I liked about him you just always made everybody from smile and there's obviously way more to jake than what we showed you in these clips this is just how he was involved with our youtube stuff our videos and our merch business and not only the same without him it's gonna be it'll be hard the bunkers super hard yes so just not having him around in the restaurant like kids our kids loved Jake actually when Annie was tiny she hated everyone except for me pretty much she tolerated Matt um but most other men like could not get anywhere near her but for some reason she loved Jake even when she was tiny and hated everyone oh yeah he loved our three kids like them maybe like we got Donuts and mr. Jake's house yesterday morning like that dang it Jake but thank you guys for the support and everything in the last few days I've been kind of away from social media as you guys have seen which I usually don't like to be away but I just take a little break done a lot of family stuff and go on and you know done what we can for the family and so you know it's one of those things that we're not gonna be over for a long time but I hope you guys can see what a bright light Jake what Jake was in our lives and the world's not as good of a place without Jake but heaven is a better place with Jake and I have one special thing there's been a looming question on demolition ranch for thousands of years that you guys have wondered and we've never told you and that question is is creepy cooter a real person and if he's not who does creepy Cooter's voice and it's time for me to come clean creepy cooter is in fact not a real person he is a mannequin I'm sorry I lied to you for so long and told you he was a real person but he's he is actually a mannequin Jake was the voice of creepy cooter no big deal guys but our printer works look at look at that cooter just creeping over here we're about to take a lot of pictures of me wearing shirts so we can put him on the website and because someone else is in these shirts I had to invite someone that we haven't seen in a while but he came out to support the merch business hey guys I just don't want you to think that because I invited you back to the photo shoot that you're back on the show it's it's not gonna happen bro why not man listen it's just we've gone our separate ways and the channels gone really good since then I just I think we should keep our distance but I brought this pretty little rope that we could play with see that's what I'm talking about the weird stuff like that [Music]

side note: he said people were commenting on YouTube before he made this video. were they commenting about Jake on other past videos or is there a YouTube forum I haven't found?
