A temporary fix to a leaning fence post

hey what's up internet this is how you can temporarily straighten out your fence posts if it's leaning here's what you're going to need an earth anchor and a tie-down strap and a bar of some sort to install the anchor with you can see me start to do that and I'm going to talk about some more stuff I got a fence and it's getting older slowly starting to fall over here and there it's leaning some of the 4x4 posts are starting to rot at their bases and I have replaced them off and on throughout the years but it's a fair amount of work to do a full post replacement this is easier than removing the old post and cementing in a new one however it's not a long-term fix tie-down straps are not made to be out in the elements for long periods of time so be safe think safety Tractor Supply is where I got the anchor from they're inexpensive there relative to everywhere else I've seen them I think Lowe's and Home Depot have these style anchors too uh they seem to be really common there are Amazon affiliate links in the description if you just want to click some buttons and have them delivered the best way I've found to put the anchors in the ground is to use rebar but you can see me using a crowbar here just pressing down and twisting is what takes a takes some time but in the end you've got a really decent anchor that's not really going anywhere it might move around a little but it doesn't come out last winter I strapped down my chicken coop with these in uh like a 20-foot tie down strap and it worked out really well once the Anchor's in the ground it's get your tie down strap and wrap it around the post and uh and then hook it to the Anchor you want to like pull it kind of straight and then start ratcheting it and then yeah for the time being the fence is going to be straight did you know this is the thing you could do what do you think is the tripping Hazard worth the temporary fix for you I hope that helps see you later internet
