like a philanthropist anybody like that but anyways will it random here we'll get into it i look very white right now uh and i have a bit of a weird green screen thing going on behind me that's my bad oh okay this might be a very good or very bad run sorry about the lighting by the way it's been a a long day i'll tell you about it in a second here but the skit is going to be eight f a zero six one three four so i'm recording it's it's 8 p.m i usually little bit earlier in the day when i have natural light coming through which makes my screen a bit brighter so that's why it's a little a little weird today but yeah it's been a oh i don't want to lose smelter this early well you know okay hey maybe it was a good idea to lose smoke to that early you know maybe it wasn't not that bad to get a you know a polyphemus off the bat here tainted eden this character scares me you could literally die at any moment because if you get rolled into like a nine lives or an item that takes away your hp you could potentially be at half a heart you can go from 12 hearts to half a heart in one hit it's not fun however you can also get some pretty insane builds you really the thing with this character is you never want to go devil deals all right you never want to go devil deals for one reason only if you go angel and you get a couple angel items there is a very strong chance that you will roll into like a holy mantle builder you're not going to lose your build for a while and having consistency even if it's a bad build having consistency is key because you're not losing hp that way oh hell yeah dude luck foots amazing ah help me do it again do it again get more drops here please no drops okay having luck foot for this starting point here is amazing it's a lock upgrade for one an extra item it's almost better pills for us but yeah it's been a long day it's been a long day for me um i woke so last night here was my last night i guess i edited it from um like nine to one a.m i went to bed i woke up at eight i came out here and i edited from eight to one thirty then i posted the uh minecraft video it was uh the um well it was my one of my bigger videos as of recently it was a video essay about minecraft potentially being part of the okay roguelike genre i thought it was pretty well put together i think my points made were good a lot of you guys agree with this i'm happy for him the best thing is putting out a video even though it's underperforming that you guys agree with you and you think it's a good video because that way it's just making me practice and practice to one of my videos like eventually inevitably you know if you're throwing up stuff in a wall it eventually sticks one of my videos will you know reach a bigger demographic one of these days and it's just in in short practice for for for the real thing you know and this also means because the minecraft video is done i can start working on the uh undertale vid oh what the pin why are you so crazy today dude holy man back the off my lord uh you cannot redo boss fights i think we will just uh i want to get a bomb right now though is the big thing please penny not a bomb yeah i guess you just move on then huh that's fine i wanted to get our tinted rock right here but we don't have to get it we're fine without a bomb in here though could happen ah damn we were close we were close chat but yeah i'm also working on the undertale video i thought the minecraft want to do a bit better because it combines the elements of my channel right now which is a kind of like an isaac roguelike channel with um the mainstream appeal of minecraft but maybe this one wasn't the right mix you know maybe i gotta try either a a you know soul minecraft video or a soul roguelike video but the undertale one is about indie games in general so i'm happy to get started on that one tomorrow and by started i mean like oh it's useless but i started i mean the audio because i have it all scripted out written out all i got to do is gather the parts get the audio recorded and then uh you know it like actually edit the video i'm gonna send it through to a couple more people and have them proof read the scripts because i want to make sure that i'm doing it right you know i wanna so that the video is gonna come out right and it's gonna be you know well researched and it's not gonna have any you know fake things or piss anybody off i want to make sure that it's it's you know it just just is as good as it can possibly be okay we got a penny here d7 honestly is not doing too bad for us right now not doing too bad problem with that is though we probably only have one spirit heart and then two rotten hearts right now and because rotten hearts are half a heart um we would die the sacking twice right now which i as well as having a betrayal for just a little bit of like extra devil item you know prowess there is nice but oh you're a ghost chest it's a ghost happy halloween by the way i i had some k i had a lot of candy so he actually we went to five below today uh me and desi and because she wanted to get candles and she wanted to get a a spooky blanket because of spooky halloween time and i was like sure we'll go we'll go there and see what we can get and um oh i see the appeal of this room it's gonna be fun isn't it so we find a candle we like and it's like it's apple something it's like it smells like it's like an apple cinnamon thing right which it smells like pretty good it smells like oh we can use this we oh we can't use this though um let's go find our boss right now and we're looking at the book section and i see a book titled chalamania why your internet boyfriend timothy chalamet is the best this is a book written about timothy chalamet without his or his manager's approval about how cute he is by like a like a a 40 year old woman maybe she's a four maybe she's like 30 but still so i pick it up and i'm like this would be so good to make a video on for my second channel off so i bought i bought the book i'm sorry i bought the timothy chalamet book i had to do it there was no other way around it i had to buy the book so now i own chalemania and uh well but anyways we're looking at the books looking at other books there and desi puts her candle down and the the books thing it's weirdly slanted it's like kind of slanted downward and she puts it down and goes to pick it back up and it slides off and it breaks but because five below is a goat we didn't have to pay for it it was a free break which was very nice but we went the we did we were up by below we got um a bunch of candy corn i'm a pretty big candy corn fan i get pretty sick of it pretty fast but i think like overall i can get behind some candy corn nice stuff and then uh we also saw some we moved into a place right like we're in a new state a new area just us two pretty much and we're trying to look at ways to you know meet irl friends because like i have a lot of friends online and everyone is online like you know script and and murmur everybody they're all they're all like you know very very good friends of mine but having people you can hang out with in real life is obviously a lot different and honestly more funded a certain occasion and there was this this girl there who had a really cool sense of style and i was kind of like desi you should you should like you know compliment that and make a friend and but it was a little nerve-wracking i understand that but we'll go to five below every saturday now until we find her again but if you're out there uh cool looking alt girl uh i'll give you desi's phone number yeah i'll take that that's really good get with our seven damage set actually that's gonna make rooms very easy so what did i want to do with soul of eden well okay i wanted to use it on the judgment card but i want to save the judgment for a secret room reroll machine if we can swing that on a floor in the future so i did as dumb as it sounds i want to take that down the judgment card over soul of eden so what i'm going to end up doing is our mirror dimension i'm going to do them or actually let's go to our cursor first i'm going to do the mirror oh wait we can do it here maybe yes hoping for like a revive item there like some kind of heart giving item but this is fine too we can't really take any of them it's okay to just leave as long as you use it and it like you know entirely waste it you're cool man um we'll go for our mirror because we have sharp straw to make a and also toxic shock which is a very good synergy together crazy walk into a room we do i think like a total of 21 i think it's three ticks of your damage overall so 21 damage plus sharp straw which is like our damage plus a little bit more we're doing a lot of damage on like room access here which i think is very very cool of us we're gonna have a good run here i think after last run holy i am not gonna spoil that run at all but that was a nightmare of a run if you were there for that run like you know how much of a struggle that run was like unbelievable honestly we should have lost we should have lost at like seven different occasions there we won just because of i think out of like sheer luck and that forget me now was the clutch we maybe could have won without without the forget me now but i don't want to you know even suggest that because we might have just died in that fight without him cause we needed the hp down bad man okay stay back from this guy he can do some major damage to you spectral tears for the wind okay back up back up oh get out of there okay we're gonna be fine we're gonna win this fight yo hp and damage the perfect storm right there honestly all right you know what man break your poops and move on move on okay after i got done at so i basically i edited posted the video went to five below then i came back and i tried to do some more uh speed runs then i realized that like i think spearowing's kind of dead now for every game honestly i saw a video posted by lincus7 a very famous zelda speedrunner i didn't watch it at all but the video was titled the death of speedrunning and i was thinking to myself like i guess there has been a pretty steep decline in speedrunning recently and interest in it because like i posted the world record video like the of me and preaching world record quite a long time ago like three months ago maybe and it did it's it's mostly video it did really well it's my most viewed video ever like of all time it was crazy i posted the second world record of of the bless runs and it got like 6k views like there was a such a steep decline and i think the rise and the popularity of running and the decline is both in part to minecraft it just when things become popular they get they get burned out really fast you know what i'm you know what i'm saying you know what i'm saying [Music] like for example when went up kanye west's 2021 album donda dropped for a day it was everyone's favorite album after that i mean that was it the album was just like oh it's out now okay the bigger an artist is i think it's harder to have your your music or your pieces of work have longevity to them because they put out an album like that that's consumed by the masses that like to that degree it kind of just falls out of faith so much faster because everyone's heard it by that point no one knew was finding it and giving exposure everybody knows it exists if you don't want to listen to it you're not going to listen to it no one's going to change your mind on that so i don't know i think that like because minecraft like really popularized speedrunning i think it just experienced that really fast burnout everybody was trying to get a new record in every game you know like for example easy specie when minecraft running like i started like when illumina popularized it and dream popularized it easy species channel blew up he was putting like you know buy daily uploads out of random like flash game world records and he was doing wonderful for himself i'll tell you in the past like two months i haven't seen a single easy video recommended to me in if in over six months because it's just out it's out of fashion now and it sucks because that's just it's a cool thing to do with games the speedo like beating a game as fast as you can is like the coolest way to play any game of all time i'll do one of these here and do one of these here very very lame room design imo it's just you shoot at a block and there's your path for yourself but i i just missed when it was popular because like as annoying as isaac is to run when you finally get that record man your whole world is just like that much brighter for a bit we we reset for four hours one night just to get that one run that was crazy that was crazy and i'm thinking about like we talked about this on the stream recently me and kelvin um our terraria little podcast we've been doing recently and um we were talking about because the isaac community like speedrunning is a super like toxic elitist ah you and um just overall like a mess of just starting our own community for it because like oh wait there is a play to be made here go find your secret room there is a big play to be made here hold on if we have a restock machine in our secret room we may have just given ourselves a whole lot of power here look for it you have golden bombs who cares let's keep look bomb every whoa mamma mia bomb every mob wall you cancel you'll find this goddamn room not there uh probably not right there no it is right there we did not get it in here i was gonna say like pandora's box spawns an item in there for you you pick it up you put your judgment down your rear bottle so you find like an arc or a death cert you lord dude i hate these rooms we're getting more speed it makes it even harder to dodge those as well but what pissed me off the most is yesterday we had glitched crown and the infinity and it's it still did not see an arky what the man why does this game hate me so much i would say honestly buy it and put it down yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that was a good buy um pacman's balls not bad i don't think we need the bomb we're not gonna need it you know heavily right now it's not worth spending you know so much of our donation machines like currency just to get a little bit of a damage up for right now i think we're fine without it honestly we don't we don't need the extra damage so don't waste your money on it you're gonna be a-okay what do we find we did egghead with our item room there okay great so yeah it turned out to be a blue baby run today which was honestly uh real good i did not want to play that stressful ass character i actually i know i have a viewer one of my uh uh closest twitter mutuals that i don't even know like who they are in in the bd1p like holy what who they are in in this channel but their name on twitter is mari and uh they made a tweet today that was like how danganronpa just sucks ass and i i agree danganronpa is is pretty bad but i was gonna we're making dinner today and i said dessie choose what we want to watch we're eating dinner it is for you you're going to choose to choose a tv show for us like what do you want to watch over eating our our calzones and she was like how about danganronpa and i was like i heard like five minutes ago this gate is this like show was garbage and we started to watch it oh yeah it's bad the dongan rampa animated show is bad now that is due in part to the hulu version of it and we only have hulu right now we don't have netflix or or hbo because we only have a switch to play our stuff off of and switch only has hulu on it so we only have hulu and hulu only has the english dub and the english dub is terrible i'm not a snob at all for that stuff i don't care if it's double sub with that show though oh my god is the the dub like the worst thing ever imaginable i don't care for i watch football alchemist in dub i watch all these shows in dub i don't care if it's better or worse to me to the same story it's the same characters but wow does danganronpa really show how much a sub matters [Music] it's bad it's bad the word i think it wouldn't be as bad if the main character wasn't the way that he was he is just like how do you explain this kid he's he has no flaws that's the problem he has like no flaw don't make me do this don't make me do this game that was way too high what would i do in there isaac isaac isaac buddy buddy friend pal every time we find omega penny we our runs over tenfold tenfold but i always have fun doing it so what i am going to do is definitely use that item it's not over here where the is our secret i'm gonna be at then huh because my nose is bothering me again here it's been a rough uh it's been a very weird day i i i don't i don't even like anime that much anymore like i used to watch uh when i was like 14 i watched a lot of anime i watched former alchemist planet like you know you're lying april i watched like every new season of enemy that came out i was big into anime when i hit like 16 i i stopped watching it forever and i never looked back and honestly best choice of my entire goddamn life because anime is not bad you know like anime is fine but i feel like you i'm gonna put like any good anime is outclassed by like any average non-anime i don't know i feel like all like usually the protagonist is very self-righteous and very like you know overly heroic it's always this whole like protagonist syndrome of like you know they can do no harm they can make no mistake a couple exceptions to that being like you know i think that re zero had a good he like griezo had a great protagonist i hated subaru a lot but he was done very very well because he wasn't overly heroic or righteous he didn't know he like the plot of re zero was this guy like is put into this fantasy world right which already is kind of like a very annoying trope in every single anime it's like oh a different world now what are you gonna do here but i i think that oh you got it for me that's what i thought they're always put into this like you know other world situation but this besides the point subaru is a dick he's always an but the thing is he knows he's like the star of the show because like he's the protagonist in this mystery world so you play as like an and and if you were in a place like situation you would too it's it's realistically you know annoying but the concept makes sense we did not hit that oh that was great cone head blockage but the concept makes like perfect sense so i think that was done very well i oh we're now we're not well i thought i had like polaroid for a minute what the hell am i doing this bomb is gonna suck for us here this is not gonna be a fun fight just say stand your ground stand your ground all right put a bomb down get the out of there yeah bring me bring me daddy bring me daddy hell the the protagonist of danganronpa is just this guy like it's this kid who just is like so like i'm gonna protect and save everybody it's annoying because that shows whole thing is like pretty much every man for himself so like that doesn't make any sense why would you try to save everybody like it starts off with um he meets just like his childhood friend and this like you know weird like murder mystery thing right and they weren't actually like friends who just they just they went to the same school together and they knew they existed or whatever because like the character is a loser the girl is like you know there's this pop idol so like she approached her she go i i recognize you you're from my old school let's be friends he's like yeah and then she breaks down crying and he goes i'm gonna protect you no matter what like he's just like like they're best friends or like lovers now it's just as stupid as if you were in a place where it was like you know kill or be killed you would not protect a girl who was very obviously manipulating manipulating you excuse me and besides the point there not even your real friend like what are you doing dude what is your deal it's i think i think that like the show is obviously gonna be at least like decently well written because it's a it's like a mystery show but the characters so far are terribly written like they're the worst they all have their own like unique like the thing is none of them are unique in their own right they're all stereotypes you know one of them's like a bigger guy who loves you know 2d girls the other one's like a baseball player who is a you know cool guy one of them is a greaser with a big you know tougher hair like these aren't people that i care for these are stereotypes that are just put to the show to fill the void i don't know it just donnie rompa just blows like i'm having a good time watching because like it's fun to make fun of but also somewhat interesting but god damn is the show bad it's one of those like you know the show's bad but it has enough qualities where i can sit through it and actually you know enjoy myself it's not you know it's so bad it's good it's it's it's okay it's just the flaws are so glaring and and the the positives are so far and feel between i'm hoping that it gets a little bit more dark because right now it's a little bit too cutesy of a tone and we just saw the first death happen and that death was pretty brutal but it has not convinced me about the show being good yet there's a lot of memes about the show out there about how like you know the show is this you know this like the show is a meme i'm guessing an internet culture i mean i've seen a lot of like negito being this you know it's just like this png of nagito being posted everywhere on social media and i get it he's a funny character whatever but i don't know i just don't i don't even get the meme appeal yet i just think it's like you're very average basic show at this point i don't see any general i don't see any niceties to it yet i guess i don't see anything that really sets it apart and when i watch a show i want to be like engaged and i want to be you know guessing who's the murderer how did this happen but the thing with that show is you can't do that because the first that's how the first murder happened spoiler alert i guess not really though i'm not gonna say we killed him but the murderer is found out because of a uh well we are kind of throwing these rooms we're taking forever on them the murderer is found out because uh they found a a piece of the murder like the murdered girls clothing at an incinerator that we the viewers did not know existed so how are you supposed to guess the killer if we don't even have all the information the main character does what it's doing right now is the jojo thing we're just like oh you didn't know about this small this this power that i have that you know is very like specific to my person only well jokes on you you're dead now like it's just like oh you don't know about this weird you know incinerator this show has that can burn bodies that uh this one person was found at because they found like an object there it's like of course not of course not because we didn't know that existed in the first place because it wasn't in our it wasn't you know given to us so why we're not engaged because we don't know what's going on we're just watching these people figure it out for themselves with no input when you're watching a mystery show you want to guess who the killer is and have the input and hopefully guess right a good show what what a good mystery show does is it keeps it pretty vague but like right as a killer is revealed that moment before you figure it out you know like what should this show is really well what show is that um what show is that i gotta think what it was called but um i it was it was um i know hannah will do that pretty well like hannibal's uh premise of abel gideon and stuff like that you can call those changes coming um twin peaks is one of the big ones twin peaks does a very well like you don't know where the killer is until that moment before it happens you're like oh my god that's the killer holy no spoiler that's not i'm not supposed to spoil two pixels is an amazing show if you have not watched twin peaks stop the video right now go watch all three seasons of it get in there okay get in there it's amazing and it makes you feel smart because as the mystery is happening you get to actively guess what's going on and you won't you you will not guess it by the way you will not guess it until those final moments of the actual like you know killings happen and they're like oh of course it's it's it's that person how did i guess that but donghan rob was just like the killer is actually the guy who plays baseball because he threw this ball at a button really hard like oh okay that's cool i guess i don't really care because now i'm not engaged in the mystery anymore but whatever i was having a good time watching it it's just like i have my very big gripes with it i guess is my issue there's just there's just too much that's like irredeemable i guess i don't know i can't i'm sorry i'm tough i'm talking fast today my throat is very dry i recorded a lot of audio for videos today and i didn't really uh do much else i've been talking pretty much all day and it's i'm not in a good head space or mouth space to record right now that's my apologies right there but i hope it's at least bearable for the viewers at home it should be you guys are used to my voice by now right i just wanna i just what i wanna start doing on youtube now is just getting the variety out there we'll go polaroid like i'm at the point with my career now and youtube where yes my my variety of videos are underperforming i suppose my isaac content but i'm having a more fun doing them and b in the grand context of like variety content as a someone of my size who just like let's say for example you know someone with like 20k subs who plays only isaac let's let's talk about kielman because kelvin and i are doing the same thing recently we both post variety content now we do isaac it's like half isaac half variety now and even though he has like 15k more subs than me our variety content gets the same views in the grand scheme of everything right now me and kill them for for our sub counts and us posting different videos it's doing really well it's just hard for me to look at the youtube analytics and see like you know the down arrow by saying oh your video is doing like worse than usual and that hurts to see but it's also like if i want to you know keep doing variety i have to get used to that because it's never going to do as well as isaac is unless i get a huge like you know minecraft video takeoff in the future it's never going to do as good as isaac does but it's in in its own right those videos are doing amazing i mean getting 1k on a minecraft video as a non-minecraft youtuber i'm proud of that it's a very it's a very you know populated pool of youtube with minecraft youtubers so be able to be at least noticed by a a small minority i'm so happy for you guys that you guys enjoy the videos like that the delta in ones too one of those got like you know 2k views amazing honestly amazing that means that 2k of you are here for me and i appreciate that a lot more than you guys know honestly more than you guys know wow you got shredded right there my green creep dog amazing but i'm gonna keep doing isaac obviously because isaac does the best you know the mod review did really really well the speedy runs do really really well i just gotta find more concepts for them right because like i want to do more of like the weird like how fast can you do this in isaac i want to do more of those it's just that like i think the next step in doing that is like unlocking a tanted character but it's going to take so long to find the seeds for because what i'm going to need to do is simulate it i can't i'm not going to do random seed for that because that would literally take me up to like yeah who cares up to like maybe a 10 hour run at that point my plan for it will be this do it on a new file but do it seated beat mom and and then just like basically simulate what it would be like because you have to go to mom beat mom go to mom's heart beat mom's heart 10 times in a row beat hush three times then go beat mother and then go unlock a character so doing that random seed took us about 14 hours on the 30 character run i'm not going to put a 13 hour video out there what i like to do is find a set seed and fully optimize that seed so i know what i'm doing like the button press video you know i want to find a seed that i can know back in front and just nail that down so i gotta just find the seeds that work i could use a 30 character run seed in fact but it's a little slow what i also could use is the um seed that we use for mom's knife the tech x i have the occult seed because that set seed is is actually has some decent damage to it and if i can really min max everything on that seed you know i i will probably read an r key though is the biggest issue we need an r key to make the run like super fast which is it's kind of like a hard thing to kind of try to balance there but okay hey safe okay almost gonna hit there i'm a little bit of an idiot we made it out of their hit list amazing um we didn't argue because we need to go back from hush to the start to go to mother then another r key from mother to go to the beast or i could just do runs in a row where that'll unlocks i could just do different seeds but at that point like i don't know might be the best option is to do different seeds for that i guess oh we have nine lives we're fine chad don't worry we have um omega penny for our devil deals from now on with this last floor of being our last devil deal floor and maybe the chest the run is gonna win either way having this build is pretty op we have an emergency judgment card for if we find a secret with a rear machine in it or like you know we wanna use on the chest for an extra item whatever basically we have an emergency hp slot in our in our card place and we have uh a lot of potential for some some some chess victories here oh i mean we could actually ah is sacrificing the right option here hmm because we could sack and you know i think i have an option that i want to do here i think i have an option that i want to i want to go through with here okay i'll kill kill kill kill so my plan would be this drop hp and if it doubles i'm gonna sack for a little bit all right uh not what i wanted to see no sacrificing them what i wanted to do is sack for seven soul hearts and in case i i guess i didn't i didn't get the source and all i got was like the the the money pick up the doubled hp and just move on but it's not gonna happen i said admit the run's a little shaky right now but honestly i think we have it we've had definitely scarier runs than this although it will be fitting to lose on a run where i was tan and eden and became blue baby and laughed about it and then lost to be pretty funny i guess but not in the current moment i want to win the run to get this i want to get 100 streak baby but yeah 100 is approaching pretty fast here man in under a month we'll be at 100 wins isn't that i guess more than a month but isn't that crazy we'll be at 100 wins in like a month that's scary that's a lot of wins dude that's a lot of wins all right just go you'll be you'll be fine you'll be fine but yeah sorry my voice is just shot today as most of you know i have a speech impediment and it's hard for me to talk a lot of the time so the
