- Well, I know you guys love
some good food segments. And so I thought, man,
we got to bring it back. We got to do some more food and ways to cook and shop inexpensively. That is the key. So this video I'm really excited about, because we're gonna do
eight meals under $8. And I was thinking, how the heck am I gonna figure this out? Well, my team that I work
with every single day, who are just amazing, they're incredible, they actually said, "Hey, we're each gonna take a meal, and we're gonna help create the segment." So this is really fun
because each of these recipes comes from someone on
my team, who's so great. So here are eight meals under $8. We'll start with my brand
manager, AKA my boss. That's what I call her, she's the boss. And Katie, she has two little girls, and they love making homemade pizzas, which of course, I can't have a brand manager
who doesn't love pizza, but she uses naan, which
is so fun, as the crust. And so you need some naan, your favorite pizza sauce, cheeses, and any additional toppings that you love and another, just like little
trick of the trade too, herbs. Like you can grow
herbs so inexpensively. And so like here's some
basil, you can sprinkle it on. It's just another little
tip for some toppings there. All right, up next, we have Naomi. Naomi helps me write all the things. She just swoops in and saves the day. So Naomi's meal under $8
is beer turkey ranch chili. So I have all the recipes right here, my little cheat sheets, and I'm gonna link all the recipes. Okay, so you can just
click the link below, all these recipes will be there. But in this chili, it's ground turkey, ranch seasoning packets, taco seasoning, bottled beer, Great Northern beans,
pinto beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and a bag
of frozen corn, under $8. Then we have Erin. Erin does all content. Like she sits there, and she's like, okay, we need this
content and this content. She's like strategist around
content, she's amazing. And her meal is beef and noodles. So it's ground beef, egg noodles, olive oil, garlic, salt
and pepper, that's it. It's amazing. So beef and noodles. And I do love, I love egg noodles, I really do. And they're really inexpensive
too, which is amazing, so that's a great meal. Lyndsie, Lyndsie helps produce this show. She's like wonderful, love her so much. And so she has cauliflower fried rice. This is actually the one, I mean I love all of these, this is like the one that I'm like, ooh, I could go here, I could do this. So we got a bag of
frozen cauliflower rice, green onions, eggs, frozen
peas and carrots, soy sauce, yum yum sauce, salt and pepper. Fried rice, but it's not
rice, it's cauliflower, so it's just so healthy, it's so great. All right, next up is Maddy. Maddy edits and makes
these videos look amazing. She makes me look amazing
because she's amazing. And Maddy is, she's the healthy one of the bunch, so you ready for this one? Maddy's meal is chickpea lentil bolognese, bolonknees, bolognese,
however you want to go, with spaghetti squash. Yeah, she like doesn't
do like meat and dairy and all the normal stuff. So this, for all you
healthy people out there, this is your meal. Maddy, she would do that. Oh my gosh, she's amazing. Okay, are you ready for these ingredients? Are you ready? Whole peeled tomatoes, spaghetti squash, carrots, shallot, garlic, oregano, parsley, thyme, lentils, chickpeas, olive oil,
salt and pepper, and cheese or nutritional yeast. Maddy, what is that? (laughing) Okay, but that's like so healthy. If you eat the way Maddy eats, she's gonna like live till she's 103. So it's so great, okay. Next is Cory, and he does all marketing. So he's like, he's one of those
marketers in the building that everyone's like, "Cory,
will you be on our team?" And I'm like, "No, you can't take Cory. He's my marketer." Because he's the best. Cory's the best. So his meal under $8 is
sweet potato enchiladas. So two sweet potatoes,
garlic powder, ground cumin, black beans, Mexican shredded
cheese, which I love, enchilada sauce, flour
tortillas, and salt, all together. And Cory's
is, it's vegetarian too. Cory and Maddy, they're just gonna live till they're old in their hundreds. Well done, Cory. All right, Julia, she does
all of my social media. She helps me stay engaged. She helps, all the beautiful images you see people paying off
like their cars and their debt and their houses, she
finds them, she's the best, Julia is amazing. So she has a hash bowl. This really sounds really good too. So frozen hash browns, eggs,
bacon or ground sausage, I'll take the bacon please, salt and pepper all together. Now that is a, I'm sure
you can do this for dinner, I bet you could do it for dinner, but this stuff for, I love this kind of stuff for breakfast. I'm like, yes, give me all the starches, give me all the dairy, give me all the eggs. Sorry, Maddy, give it to
me all, so it's so good. All right, and last but
not least, mine under $8. Tacos, it's so easy. Just get some ground
beef, get some shells, you can do hard shells, you can do soft shells, put a little bit of spices in your meat. So you can do like pure taco seasoning or just do a little chili powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, all of it, put it in the shell, get some
cheese, lettuce, all of it, and just get you some tacos. Always cheap, Mexican's
